Despite a rain delay, the team rolled the Mountaineers with a dominant performance on defense, on the ground, and through the air. Join the BWI Live postgame show as we discuss the team's play in the second half and how they put together a complete performance on Saturday. If you missed the live show, you can check it out on replay in this article. We're also celebrating the big win with you! Join Blue White Illustrated right now for 50% off an annual membership with promo code WEARE.Penn State doesn't let rain delay dampen fireworksThe Penn State offense came out on fire in the second half of it's win over West Virginia. We'll discuss how running back Nick Singleton ripped off two runs of 40 yard runs and how the offense found it's mojo after a 2023 season that felt like a grind offensively. On the day, the team gained 149 yards on explosive runs over eight carries of ten or more yards. Next, we'll highlight Drew Allar's play on the day and, how he changed his mentality after an offseason of work and how the Nittany Lions found a rhythm in the passing game. Again, big plays were the name of the game. Allar tossed six passes for 178 yards including a 50-yard touchdown strike to Trey Wallace that led to the team's first big touchdown of the game. Trouble spots to clean up?However, it wasn't all rosy for the Penn State offense. Beau Pribula's presence in the run game struggled to make the impact that the team hoped for. He finished the game with three carries for 25 yards, mixed with an "almost" fumble early in the game. However, his presence paid off in the end as he tossed the game-sealing touchdown in the red zone from 19 yards out to Tyler Warren. Penn State defense dominatesNext, we'll discuss the defense's play and how they stopped the West Virginia attack in the second half and put quarterback Garrett Greene into a no-win situation. Linebacker Tony Rojas made plays in the first half, but he settled down in the second and became a dangerous weapon for the Penn State defense. We highlight his accomplishments and what they mean for the team. The Penn State safeties were lights out in the first half, but the team gave up some chunk plays in the second, which led to a West Virginia touchdown. Yet overall, the secondary had an excellent day. We discuss their performance. The Penn State Football team dominated West Virginia 34-12 on Saturday in Morgantown. The trio of Sean Fitz, Greg Pickel, and Nate Bauer give their thoughts about the team's performance against West Virginia. The Lions dominated with big plays and suffocating defense and came out of a nearly 2.5-hour rain delay on fire. Our experts discuss the emergence of wide receiver Trey Wallace, Drew Allar's exceptional day, and more. Join the BWI Live postgame show as we discuss the team's play in the second half and how they put together a complete performance on Saturday. #PennState #NittanyLions JOIN Blue White Illustrated: https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/join/?plan=annualSUBSCRIBE to Blue White Illustrated on YouTube and enable alerts - new highlights and videos uploaded regularly: https://www.youtube.com/c/bluewhiteillustratedvideo?sub_confirmationGet the 2024 Penn State Football Preview Magazine at https://bit.ly/PSU24PreviewBookmark our homepage: https://www.on3.com/teams/penn-state-nittany-lions/Subscribe to BWI Magazine and Newsletters: https://bluewhiteonline.com Download our podcasts: https://cms.megaphone.fm/channel/LRL3155877513?selected=DSVV2664982394Like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BlueWhiteIllustrated/Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/PennStateOn3Sound effects obtained from https://www.zapsplat.comPenn State ROLLS West Virginia in offensive explosion | Postgame Show

Gio barely made it in at the start of the show because of the pouring rain and a huge accident on the L.I.E. Boomer had a hard time finding the Yankees game last night. The Mets swept their series with the Nationals and Gio wonders if Jerry thinks he'll win his bet of the Mets winning 81 ½ games. Boomer also said Gio is not spending as much time in the WFAN sales area like he used to. He said he does spend time back there if the people he's talking to are interesting. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update of the day. He starts with the sounds of Rickie Ricardo as the Yankees beat the Twins again. Aaron Judge had a stand up bases clearing triple and 5 RBIs on the night. We heard from Howie Rose as the Mets swept the Nationals. Luis Torrens hit 2 homeruns. In the final segment of the hour, Judge and Soto are being compared to Ruth and Gehrig. Boomer wonders what Aaron Judge would have been like in the Babe Ruth era.
