Know what you're actually building. A midyear review should go beyond sales numbers and goals. It's important to understand whether you're creating a business that can operate independently or whether the business relies entirely on YOU physically being in the shop to do all of the things. 2. A healthy business is built on more than revenue. Strong sales alone do not create value. If you are not profitable, if your cash flow is struggling, if you have no idea where your money is going; revenue doesn't mean much at all.  3. Systems create freedom. When knowledge, processes, and decision-making live only in the owner's head, everything is harder for everyone. Documented systems allow responsibilities to be shared, delegated, and sustained over time.  4. Inventory deserves regular attention. Many retailers wait until they are tired, ready to retire, or facing unexpected life circumstances before thinking about selling their business. "Your job is to be the source of certainty in the chaos." THE DATA: Work Institute: 15,000 exit interviews in 2025, part of 120,000+ interviews from 2020-2025. Nearly 75% of employee turnover is preventable. MIT Sloan: Toxic workplace culture is the number one reason people quit, 10x more predictive than compensation. Gallup: Only 23% of employees are actively engaged. If you have 10 people, only 2-3 are truly engaged. The other 7-8 are going through the motions. People aren't quitting because of perks, pay, or flexibility. They're quitting because you're not giving them the 5 Cs.   THE 5 Cs YOUR EMPLOYEES NEED: 1. Context: The big picture. How does their work matter? Where is the company going? 2. Clarity: What does success look like? What are the priorities? What's expected? 3. Communication: Transparent conversations. Early problem surfacing. No surprises. 4. Consistency: Weekly rhythm. Reliable cadence. Predictable structure. 5. Certainty: Trust. Belief in the vision. Coaching for their highest potential. The one leaders miss most: Certainty.   WHAT CERTAINTY MEANS: Certainty isn't about guarantees. It's about creating psychological safety in an uncertain world. It's about your employees knowing: - "My leader believes in me." - "My leader has my back." - "My leader sees my potential and is invested in helping me reach it." - "Even when things are hard, I trust that we'll figure it out together." Certainty is the foundation of everything else. Without it, nothing else works. It is your job as the leader to create certainty. Not HR. Not a program. You. Your employees are living in an uncertain world. In the absence of certainty, people panic. They disengage. They leave. Your job is to be the source of certainty in the chaos.   WHY EMPLOYEES QUIT: REASON #1: They can't see a future (Career Development) Career growth has been the number one driver of turnover for decades. Not pay. Not perks. Growth. The 5 Cs failure: No Context (how their growth fits the bigger picture), No Clarity (what skills to build or what success looks like), No Certainty (they don't trust you're invested in their future). What you need: Role clarity that defines what great looks like and what the path forward is.   REASON #2: Their manager is the problem (Manager Behavior) People don't leave companies. They leave managers. The problem isn't technical. It's behavioral. How managers communicate. How they handle pressure. How they treat people when things get challenging. The 5 Cs failure: No Communication (managers avoid hard topics), No Consistency (managers are unpredictable, moody, reactive), No Certainty (managers don't believe in their people, they micromanage or abandon, they don't coach or create safety). Certainty is the hardest C for managers to deliver because it requires them to show up as leaders, not just task managers. What you need: A weekly rhythm that structures one-on-ones, creates space for coaching conversations, and builds certainty through consistency.   REASON #3: Work-life balance is unsustainable (Workload and Flexibility) This isn't about remote work or flexible hours. It's about unrealistic expectations, unclear priorities, and constant firefighting. Employees don't know what's most important, what they can say no to, or when "good enough" is actually good enough. So they try to do everything. And they burn out. The 5 Cs failure: No Clarity (priorities are unclear, everything is urgent), No Consistency (the rhythm is chaotic, meetings are random, expectations shift constantly), No Certainty (employees don't trust it's okay to set boundaries or push back). What you need: Decision boundaries that clarify what's theirs to own, what needs your input, and what they can let go of.   REASON #4: AI and job security uncertainty (Lack of Transparency) It's not fear of job loss. It's uncertainty about what AI means for them and their role. In the absence of clarity, employees fill in the blanks. Usually in ways that don't work in your favor. The lack of transparency creates anxiety. The 5 Cs failure: No Context (they don't understand why AI matters or how it fits the vision), No Communication (you're not talking about it or you're being vague), No Certainty (they don't trust you'll protect them, support them, or help them adapt). Your job as the leader is to say: "Here's what's changing. Here's what's staying the same. Here's how you fit into the future. I believe in you. We'll figure this out together." What you need: Transparent communication built into your weekly rhythm so change doesn't blindside your team.   REASON #5: The day-to-day experience wears them down (Culture and Recognition) This is the slow bleed. Not one big thing. Just a thousand small things that add up over time. Their wins go unnoticed. Their concerns go unheard. Their effort goes unrecognized. They feel invisible. The 5 Cs failure: No Communication (you're not listening, acknowledging, or seeing them), No Certainty (they don't feel valued, they don't trust their work matters, they don't believe you care). What you need: A consistent rhythm that creates space for recognition, celebration, and connection.   THE PATTERN: Every reason employees quit comes back to the same problem: You're not giving them the 5 Cs. And the one you're missing most? Certainty. Because certainty is hard. It requires you to show up as a leader, not just a manager. It requires you to believe in your people, even when they don't believe in themselves. It requires you to create safety, trust, and confidence in an uncertain world. Most leaders have never been taught how to do that. So they default to managing tasks. And their people leave.   THE REAL PROBLEM: You don't have an internal customer experience strategy built on the 5 Cs. Turnover has slowed, but the underlying frustration hasn't. Employees are staying longer, not because they're fully bought in, but because they're watching, waiting, and quietly reassessing whether it's worth sticking around. That's the real risk. Not mass exits, but quiet disengagement building under the surface. The gap between staying and committing is where most organizations are losing people. They just don't see it yet. You can't fix this with another perk, another program, or another pizza party. A Royal Caribbean attendant pled guilty to secretly recording passengers including children as young as two inside their cabins. Sentenced to 30 years. On Celebrity, according to the FBI, a youth counselor allegedly targeted multiple children over four months while avoiding cameras. Two Princess crew members received a combined 45 years for grooming a teenager and exchanging material depicting the exploitation of very young children. Carnival leads in reported assault allegations. Holland America had four crew detained in San Diego. Every major cruise line. Every year. The same pattern: crew hired through third-party agencies, limited background checks, no shared offender registry, and identical corporate statements after every arrest. Nearly 200 crew accused in approximately two years according to Cruise Law News. And the Yellow Deli is still open.In this episode, Tony Brueski examines why the Twelve Tribes has operated for five decades without facing lasting institutional consequence in the United States. The legal shield is real — religious freedom protections make intervention in communal groups extraordinarily difficult. The financial model is self-sustaining — unpaid labor generating revenue through consumer-facing businesses. The recruitment pipeline is self-replenishing — the delis bring new people in as others leave. And the opacity, according to FBI interviews with former members, is allegedly engineered through internal training that discourages cooperation with law enforcement.The 1984 Vermont raid produced a precedent that reportedly chilled enforcement for decades. Marisa spoke with Megan about People with Disability Australia (PWDA), which is the national advocacy and representative organisation led by and for people with disability, has backed President of the Australian Human Rights Commission Hugh de Kretser's call for a Human Rights Act, made in an address to the National Press Club. Megan emphasized that evidence provided to the Disability Royal Commission documented widespread experiences of violence, abuse, neglect and exclusion, and made clear that existing legal protections are not sufficient to prevent these harms or respond when they occur.

You're being held hostage by mediocre employees. Not because they're irreplaceable, but because you're so buried that replacing them feels harder than keeping them. The calculation: - Keep them = stay stuck, but ship doesn't sink today - Replace them = 3-6 months of chaos while already at 110% capacity - So you tolerate it. And resent it.   WHAT THE TOLERANCE TAX COSTS: 1. Lost Revenue: $50K-$100K/year per mediocre employee Mediocre work = no referrals, lost sales, operational inefficiency, missed growth 2. Your Time: $150K+/year 15 hours/week managing mediocrity = 780 hours/year at $200/hour = $156K 3. Your A-Players: $50K-$100K to replace Real A-players have all 4 ITs: DO IT, GET IT, WANT IT, NEED IT. Most have 2-3, not all 4. They leave when you tolerate mediocrity or can't support their growth. 4. Your Standards: Eroded daily Mediocrity becomes your culture. Great people won't join. Good people leave. 5. Your Growth: Stalled Can't scale with mediocre people who need you in the weeds. The Math: 2 mediocre employees = $525K/year tolerance tax   WHY ARE THEY MEDIOCRE? 1. You hired mediocre from the start You couldn't attract A-players without the 5 Cs (Clarity, Context, Communication, Certainty, Consistency). 2. You knew they weren't working out early, but kept them No infrastructure to replace them quickly (no onboarding, no processes, no role clarity). 3. This one doesn't land the way it's supposed to without the stories that came before it.A retired land surveyor named Gene heard the first four episodes of this series and realized he'd walked the exact ground every witness was describing. In the spring of nineteen eighty-seven, Gene and his partner Bill spent three and a half weeks surveying an eight-thousand-acre tract spanning the Georgia-Tennessee line for a timber company. That tract contains every encounter location from the previous four episodes. Every single one. Gene's field notes document tree breaks along the ridgeline with spiral fractures at six to nine feet, barefoot impressions measuring sixteen to seventeen inches in creek mud, an unusual sound-dampening effect on the valley floor that both surveyors noticed independently, and three limestone cave openings along the western face of the ridge producing airflow consistent with a significant underground passage system.The timber company ordered those caves excluded from the survey without legal explanation. Gene also recorded an unidentified nighttime vocalization on a microcassette tape that he dismissed as a coyote for thirty-seven years until he heard witnesses in this series describe nearly identical sounds. Most ISO Standards are designed with implementation flexibility in mind. They set the framework without specifying an exact method to meet requirements, giving businesses the freedom to implement them how they see fit. One of the key requirements you can't escape, however, is documentation. This is more than a list of key documents you must have in place, it encompasses how you develop, control and store documented information. In this episode, Ian Battersby dispels common myths around documentation in ISO, explains what the requirements actually mean in practice and how you address each one relevant to documented information. [02:40] Common misunderstandings about documentation within ISO: Taking ISO 9001 as the prime example, the most common misunderstanding is that you need a policy manual. This is not true. This may have stemmed from previous versions of ISO 9001 where certain mandatory procedures were required, such as: ·      Control of Documents (Clause 4.2.3) ·      Control of Records (Clause 4.2.4) ·      Internal Audit (Clause 8.2.2) ·      Control of Nonconforming Product (Clause 8.3) ·      Corrective Action (Clause 8.5.2) ·      Preventive Action (Clause 8.5.3) There were also mandatory records such as Management Review, calibration, supplier evaluation, design/development reviews etc. With the introduction of the 2015 version of ISO 9001, the old terms 'Procedure' and 'Record' have changed into a single term now known as 'Documented Information', which breaks down those previous terms into the following: ·      Documented information to be maintained — Previously what would have been a procedure (i.e., describing how something should be done) ·      Documented information to be retained — Previously what would have been a record (i.e., evidence that something was done) [05:10] What do current ISO Standards require for Documented Information? The 2015 version of ISO 9001 received the following updates: ·      Removed the prescriptive language associated with the old terms ·      Gave organisations the flexibility to develop, control and store documented information ·      No longer dictates the form that documentation must take In practice, many people still use the terms procedure and record informally, because they are well understood and conveniently descriptive. But beware using language that reinforces old-fashioned ideas about how we create management systems. This newer language aligns with modern risk-based thinking, with direct references made to this being included in the Standard. But, while that sounds prescriptive, adopting risk-based thinking has allowed a less prescriptive approach to the standards. It allows you to consider what's significant to you and so you can plan your system accordingly. [07:20] How do you determine what should be documented information? The effort you put into documenting something must be consistent with the risk If, for example, a process is important, if its outcome could be in doubt, if it's complex to control, if it could lead to damage/harm, if there's a regulatory requirement, then you should put some effort into documenting how it's performed. But, if you maintain that documentation in response to the risk to your organisation and not in response to a prescriptive demand in standard, and if a process attracts less risk, then you can deliver it with less formality and less documentation to be maintained. The same goes for retaining documentation to evidence that you've done what you should. In short: more risk, more documentation retained to demonstrate that you've controlled it. [08:30] How do modern Standards embed a flexible approach? ISO Standards are deliberately flexible. The extent of documented information required depends on the size of your organisation, the complexity of your processes, your customers' needs, your regulatory environment and the competence of your people. An organisation of only 10 people will have very different needs compared to one of 10,000, and both can fully conform to the standard. It's about proportionality, not volume. [09:20] What is considered 'documented information? ISO standards don't care what you call the documents you maintain in order to govern how you deliver your daily work. Other than using the term process (and the process approach) to underpin how systems should interrelate, ISO 9001 doesn't specify anything else. Would you like to use the term procedure?  Or management procedure? Or SOP? Work instruction? Process map, guide, playbook, manual. Or is your activity embedded in an online system? A workflow? A board? It doesn't matter, you can call it what you want, and as long as it's controlled to the extent that it needs to be. [11:05] Breaking down clause 7.5 Documented information: ISO 9001 states: "7.5.1 General: The organization's quality management system shall include: a) documented information required by this International Standard; b) documented information determined by the organization as being necessary for the effectiveness of the quality management system. NOTE The extent of documented information can differ from one organization to another due to: ·      the size of organization and its type of activities, processes, products and services; ·      the complexity of processes and their interactions; ·      the competence of persons." This reinforces the fact that there is no 'one size fits all' approach. [12:15] How to address clause 7.5.2 Creating and Updating documentation: The Standard states: "When creating and updating documented information, the organization shall ensure appropriate." Note that word, 'appropriate'.  It doesn't indicate specifics, it indicates that you should choose certain things according to your own circumstances So the appropriate things which you should ensure are: Identification and description:(e.g. a title, date, author, or reference number) One trap many fall into, is the use of reference numbers. In most cases they are unnecessary. Only use them if they mean something or make life easier. Having reference numbers with department numbering can reinforce the silo mentality; 'that's their procedure, not ours', so it's best to avoid creating that situation by foregoing reference numbers if possible. What matters is that any users are able to easily verify that they have the right document, this can be done with a descriptive title, version numbers and a date for the version. Online documents may have details embedded in metadata or an information box that can make this process easier to implement.   Format and media: You'll need to consider language required for certain documentation, as international systems where there are multiple languages used by the workforce, may require additional versions. You'll also need to establish which templates or layouts to use. Look and feel will likely be important in the organisation, so you'll want to keep documents on brand. Other considerations include: ·      The use of process maps, flowcharts, diagrams, tables, or written text. ·      The software or application it is created in (e.g. Word, PDF, SharePoint) ·      Whether the document is paper-based or electronic Review and approval for suitability and adequacy: Documented information requires appropriate review of content, this is to make sure it does what it should and that all of the above is covered. You will also need sign-off by someone with the appropriate authority, and that authority is determined based on risk related to that document. [18:00] How to address 7.5.3 Control of documentation: Let's break down each part of this clause: "To ensure that a)    it is available and suitable for use, where and when it is needed;" - It must be circulated, hosted, displayed or whatever, so that those people who are required to see it, use it, know of its content can act on it. "b) it is adequately protected (e.g. from loss of confidentiality, improper use, or loss of integrity)." - It must be protected so that only the right people see it, so that any confidential information is not inappropriately shared, and no one can use or amend it without the appropriate authority. This is to ensure it remains in the manner it was intended and that its content can't be altered, corrupted or destroyed. "7.5.3.2 For the control of documented information, the organization shall address the following activities, as applicable: a) distribution, access, retrieval and use; b) storage and preservation, including preservation of legibility; c) control of changes (e.g. version control); d) retention and disposition." This clause adds some meat to the ideas discussed already "a) distribution, access, retrieval and use;" – This refers to who receives a document and by what means, whether the right people can access it and know what to do with it at the time they need it, while also considering the sensitivity. "b) storage and preservation, including preservation of legibility;" - The physical or electronic location of storage and its usefulness over time. You'll need to ensure that physical things are safe from damage (fire, flood etc) and that electronic formats are protected from obsolescence. "c) control of changes (e.g. version control)" - Who is allowed to edit, authorise, publish, issue and host a document. Establish a method of ensuring only relevant, current information is accessible by the right people, and record the history of changes where necessary. "d) retention and disposition." – Ask yourself: how long should documented information be kept? What's useful? What's regulatory? What does the customer want? What do you do when you don't need it any more? What do you do to prevent access to obsolete information? [22:30] A cautionary tale for modern approaches to Documentation: These days, we're seeing more and more systems relying solely on electronic documentation.  This brings big advantages, but also risks. While there are excellent methods for document control in all sorts of hosting, sharing, collaboration platforms, they still need to be managed. Too often we see systems with multiple versions of similar documents, naming disasters, obsolete versions, poor formatting, lack of authority, breaches of confidentiality, and the simple inability to find what you want! Modern systems can help with documented information, but they don't remove the need for managing documentation. What the Stone Did Not ForgetThe lineage of the sacred feminine from Neolithic Europe all the way to the Stardust Lineage.There is an image of a woman small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. She is less than four and a half inches tall, carved from Neolithic limestone over 28,000 years ago near the Danube River in what is now called Austria. She is all curved. A sacred feminine body with a round belly, full breasts, wide hips, a body in its fullness and generative power, honored in the most permanent material available.She has no face. She does not need one. She is not a portrait of an individual woman. She is every woman. And she is a statement about what the female body means, what it carries, what it represents, and the cosmology of the people who made her. She is, of course, the Venus of Willendorf.She was once tinted with red ochre, the same iron-rich pigment as human blood, and women's blood. Even in the act of carving, there was an awareness of the connection between body, earth, and cosmos. The stone itself was not incidental. The stone holds what time cannot otherwise keep. The stone holds the story and remembers.Across a vast arc of prehistoric Europe and Asia, from France to Siberia, archaeologists have uncovered hundreds of similar figurines spanning thousands of years of human creative life. Each one encoded the same understanding. The female body is sacred. It doesn't represent the sacred. It is the sacred and created from the sacred. She is the source. She is the organizing principle of human life.Honoring the feminine because of matriarchy was not something radical, was not feminism. It was not simply embedded into the fabric of early human cultures. It was actually what the fabric was woven from — not just embedded, woven from. It is the very fibers of the tapestry.And this story lasts for thousands and thousands and thousands of years before the eventual widespread emergence of organized warfare, before the legal and theological structures that would later declare the female body a problem to be managed and named, before the invention of land ownership.The stone did not forget, even as later cultures obscured, suppressed, and reinterpreted and renamed what these figurines meant. The stone holds the story. The clay holds the imprint.Marija Gimbutas and the Language of the Sacred BodyMuch of what we know about these ancient cultures comes from the work of Marija Gimbutas, the Lithuanian-American archaeologist, Professor Emeritus at UCLA, and one of the most important and most contested scholars in the 20th century. She spent decades excavating what she called Old Europe, the Neolithic cultures of prehistoric Europe that flourished before the arrival of the patriarchal peoples from the Pontic-Caspian steppes beginning around 4000 BCE. In the regions of what is now known as Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania, the Cucuteni-Trypillia era, she documented cultures that developed sophisticated symbolic systems over thousands of years, deeply rooted in agricultural art and the cyclical understandings of life.In thousands of figurines, burial sites, ceremonial objects, and symbolic markings, she identified a coherent visual language — circles, spirals, triangles, and the female form encoding an entire civilization's understanding of life, death, the regeneration cycle, and the sacred. This is not primitive decoration. These are not fertility charms made for male desire. These are acts of reverence and collaboration, a co-creative relationship, symbols encoded into stone and clay, telling a story about who we were and perhaps who we could be.And she found no weapons there until later.Her interpretation, by the way, has been challenged and debated by subsequent scholars. Her naming, her description of the archaeomythology of the ancient mothers — to this day, archaeologists are trying to disprove her theories and relabel her findings.And yet the figurines — it's even hard to call them that. The mother. She just exists. The symbols recur across vast distances and thousands of years with a consistency that really demands no explanation. We honored her and her body. Whatever the precise nature of the social structures that produced them, the female body represented in these artifacts is the power. She is the primary symbol through which a civilization found its meaning.That understanding did not disappear when the cultures that held it were disrupted. It went underground, literally, and it survived in objects and then modern day practices that the dominant culture wasn't successful in stamping out.So much they took from us. So much we remembered. The stone remembers, and the stardust bones remember.Lenore Thomas Straus — Choosing the MotherThis is how it leads into our Stardust Lineage.In 1937, sculptor Lenore Thomas Straus received a commission through the Public Works Administration — sometimes called the Works Progress Administration — in Greenbelt, Maryland. This is one of the New Deal communities being built during the Depression, supported by the Roosevelts' vision for an American public life. Lenore worked on multiple projects connected to this era of public art, and photographs document her alongside Eleanor Roosevelt in a hard hat.Lenore also made a note that these communities were being built for white people, but by Black people. That is part of the story. The untold story.For the Greenbelt commission, Lenore was given latitude to choose her subject. It was going to go in the town square. She chose a mother and child — not a warrior, not a statesman for the area, not an allegory of progress or industry. A mother kneeling, with her child holding a cup with both hands. It is carved across three four-foot limestone blocks from Indiana, twelve feet of stone placed in public space, and functional — a water fountain. Just like a woman, she wanted to make sure it made sense. Utility and reverence made inseparable, the act of offering water given permanent form in stone. The sculpture was commissioned in 1937 and completed in 1939.This is, of course, a conscious choice. With the full range of American civic iconography available to her, with the imprimatur of federal commission behind her, Lenore Thomas Straus chose to place the sacred feminine body in a public square — a mother and a child.She also carved in a separate commission the Preamble to the Constitution in stone, also in Maryland.She knew what she was doing. She was doing what the Neolithic carvers had done across thousands of years — inscribing the female body and the values of a society that honors life in the most permanent material available.She wrote of her relationship to carving stone as an artist: Quietly, I bow to the stone.To our community, this summarizes the root system of Intentional Creativity. The sentence holds an entire philosophy. The sculptor does not dominate the material. She listens to it. She honors what it carries. She brings her full devotion to bear before she raises a hand to shape it.Greenbelt, Maryland is where Lenore Thomas Straus is from — Prince George's County, Maryland.Lenore Thomas Straus became the teacher of a young artist named Sue Hoya Sellers. She recognized Sue when Sue was seventeen years old. Sue had ridden seven miles on dirt roads to find her, a portfolio strapped to her bicycle, clothes starched and ironed, two years of preparation. Lenore called her a young artist, and Sue was one.Among the things Lenore passed to Sue was an understanding that the sacred feminine image belonged in the hands of women — that carving was not decoration, that it was transmission, and honestly, a form of decolonizing the female body.Sue carried this forward in her own large-scale work, including a monumental pregnant woman carved in wood commissioned for Alice Walker that stands at Stardust Ranch in Sonoma — the sacred feminine body again in the most permanent material available, given to the woman who had sat at the table with Sue, given to the writer who told me that to be happy is one of the most revolutionary acts.And Sue passed this assignment to me when I was twenty-four. Sue co-mothered me, and this was among the most sacred things she passed forward.A Cold Day and a Palm-Sized PrayerI remember the day.It was cloudy and cold on the mountain. Sue and I, months before, had gone out to dig the very clay from the earth — red clay. She wanted me to understand the whole cycle of making. Finally, the clay was made. It was placed in my hands, and she said: make it fit the palm of your hand. For prayer. Put your intention into it.I brought the clay into my hands and began to shape it. I didn't know what it would become, but I knew that I was called to make the Sacred Mother. It was the first thing I ever made out of clay.Amazingly, years after Sue's death, Lenore's daughter Nora sent me a small figurine carved in stone — one of Sue's earliest works — a goddess figurine, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It was only then, holding that piece, understanding what Sue had been handed and what she handed to me, that I received the full weight of the assignment — not as an instruction, as a lineage, as a specific, unbroken transmission of an understanding that Lenore had carried from her own teachers, and they from theirs, all the way back to the women who pressed their hands into cave walls and shaped limestone into figurines small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.It makes me think of my recent visit to Malta — how the Sleeping Lady of Malta is so tiny she can almost fit in the palm of your hand. But there were also sculptures so huge they were claimed to be made by giantesses. Lenore and Sue did the same thing — made the tiny and the large.Lenore was a Norwegian woman. She decided to carve an enormous sculpture, a mother and child. She went on to carve the Preamble to the Constitution in stone. She taught Sue and Sue taught me — from hand to hand and really from heart to heart.And when I think of this teaching and share it with my students today, I feel the throughline of the sacred feminine image always emerging and becoming and arriving in and through our hands. Back at the beginning, right at the time I made that sculpture, I knew I wanted to change the way that women were treated and the way that the face of the feminine was regarded in my lifetime.Thousands of paintings are part of it.
