The NFL sent a letter to gambling quarterback Brendan Sorsby letting him know there would be no NFL Supplemental Draft this year and they wished him the best for his future. It may be the first time anybody has stood up to the talented player and it's likely the best thing for him. There was no way the NFL wanted this off season saga. Good for them. Meanwhile, the NCAA votes to change the rules of eligility and it's exactly the model President Trump put in an Executive Order on April 7. A star tight end not named Kelce is all up the kitchen of NFL owners who seem to have enough money for grass fields for FIFA but not for NFL players. We'll tell you who he is. Is it the first policy difference between VP Vance and Secretary Rubio as they are likely to both want to be America's next president? JD is handling the Iran negotiation and according to a report, that's how Marco wants it. You want to hear this. US manufacturing is at a five year high, the DOJ charges 455 scammers that have been stealing healthcare money from the government. And in our Final Final, Space X has fallen back to earth.

A couple months ago when UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer wouldn't allow the United States to access England's military bases while attacking Iran, President Trump said Starmer is "not exactly Winston Churchill," and the trap was set. Fast forward a couple months and Trump gets yet another win as Starmer has announced he's resigning after his Labour Party is just getting crushed at the polls. JD Vance is leading the negotiations with Iran and it's off to a shaky start. Shocker. Dems are traveling to DC just for the purpose of having a chance to ruin the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that Trump fixed... .including an Olympic athlete that has been arrested. The World Cup has been a smashing success for Team USA so far even as a former US Goalkeeper says we have zero chance to win the Cup. Iran fans are now carrying in so many flags and signs against the regime that not even FIFA can keep up with confiscating it all. And an American at the US Open Golf Championship, a former winner, is treated like total garbage by New York golf fans... they are just the worst. Royals slugger Jac Caglianone is on quite a heater this month. And our Final Final is the ultimate "The Honeymoon's Over" story for a sports reporter in Pittsburgh.
The grand opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Library and Eyesore went just about as you would expect. It's still overbudget and not paid for, on stage they apologized for building it on stolen land and Obama himself talked about slavery. Then it got worse. Springsteen and Bono, who look like they have Ozempic Aids, sang sad songs and the whole place was a bummer than tried to have fake fun. Who would have guessed? But here's a great story... the Marine Band at UFC 250 last Sunday night was so great they are all getting a bonus from POTUS and... one of his friends. Josh Hawley is so wrong about Major League Baseball and players writing on their hats he's an embarrassment to Republicans everywhere. I have the goods on him and it's pretty bad. It's a big weekend ahead with the US Open Golf Championship and Team USA in the World Cup. Danny Clinkscale has a couple thoughts. And our Final Final is a local baseball player and two famous musicians being sued over their steakhouse going under. Beware of the this story Patrick and Travis.

Mike Shirinian is joined by good pals Pat LoRocca and Nick Mariziliano. The guys dine on Italian fritatta and sip on some bubbles. Argentina's soccer star Lionel Messi had a match for the ages Tuesday night at Arrowhead as he started quickly with a goal that was taken away by an offside call. So he proceded to score three more! All three in the match to be accurate as Argentina and it's 50,000 or so fans at Arrowhead went wild watching a 3-0 win over Algeria. It was spectacular. But how many Kansas Citians were there remains a bit of a mystery and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. KC residents turned out everywhere Tuesday for free fan events and watch parties and we're clearly finding our stride. There were shots of some empty seats at Arrowhead even though 500 million people were watching on tv globally, and a Sports Illustrated writer posted a screenshot from a ticket service two hours before the start that had tickets for $69. We cover all the stories, all over the country on today's episode. The Big 12's lawsuit filed against Ken Paxton and Texas Tech was just a stone cold killer. The suit had nothing to do with the gambling quarterback, wait until you hear what their rock star law firm dialed up for the conference. President Trump stars at the G7 and touts peace, low oil prices and a skyrocketing stock market. Then he just hammers Obama. JD Vance's book tour is not going well. It's not a disaster but I just don't understand what he's doing right now. The annual fast food customer service rankings are out and for the first time in over a decade, Chik Fil A is not the winner. And our Final Final is a new report on the astounding growth of podcast listening in America.
It has been 38 years since I bought a truck. That all changed Thursday and I'm pretty sure my dad is smiling down on me proud of my purchase! All quiet with Iran for now as Trump teases he may sign a deal this weekend just in time for the spectacle that will be UFC 250 on the White House lawn. Mayor Q was on Pete Mundo's radio show and spit out a whole bunch of truth's about the Royals new Crown Center stadium as all the whacko "marginalized" groups are coming after him trying to stop it. We have common ground against these loons. The Chiefs wrap up mini camp week with a minor trade. The Royals had a rain delay without a drop of rain... and then lose. The attorney general of Texas threatens the Big 12 that they had better not take on Texas Tech and their gambling addicted quarterback. It's Jello shot season in Omaha and Jerry Seinfeld seems to be everywhere this week. We have cut to play for you in our Final Final.

I didn't think it was possible but Trump's Golden Age is making the NBA great again. It's true. And on Wednesday night, they are calling a shot by a player from Jefferson City, Missouri the most iconic shot in NY Knicks history. Taylor Swift went wild and a whole lot of people are feeling included by this league again. In the middle of the bombing in Iran, their leaders called Trump on the phone and asked him to stop. He told them to sign a deal or he's going to bomb them every day going forward. Will this do it? Who knows? Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt is the star of the congressional baseball game as the GOP crushes the Dems... again. But it's the uniforms the democrats wore that are the real story. KC has released a list of bars that will be open 23 hours a day for the World Cup. Zac Brown is proud to sing the anthem at UFC 250 Sunday night. Patrick Mahomes gets a new contract that sets all kinds of records. The Royals blow one against the Rangers on Pride night and Seth Lugo is injured. And Charles Barkley is our Final Final again.
So the kids are so unruly in Lee's Summit that business and city leaders have decided to end a 40 year tradition because..... why? This is weak, feckless and so unlike Lee's Summit. Grow a backbone. The situation in Iran, many have thought, would always be wrapped up by this weekend as a personal goal of President Trump. Now he's threatening stronger action against them with more military strikes. Oh, brother. The Netherlands takes over Riverside for the World Cup and there's something about the "Oranje" that I kinda like. I think I will root for them. We have an update on the price of Madison Square Garden for Travis and Taylor's wedding. Wouldn't it just be awesome if Patrick Mahomes stepped up the microphone and blasted his alma mater, Texas Tech, for their outrageous handling of a quarterback with a huge gambling problem? I'll explain how. A fan from Germany is going viral for showing some of things we take for granted in America and making them sound great. Charles Barkley makes a comment about a performer's boobs, a record marlin could be worth millions and Hunter Biden is proud to have been a crack addict in our Final Final.
The entire college athletics world melted down Monday in a way we've never seen before. It's not cheating, it's not stealing and it's not NIL. It's a judge's ruling that allows a sports betting addict quarterback to play for Texas Tech this year while awaiting a trial about his eligibility. It's literally everyone in college athletics against renegade program Texas Tech, and by extension, Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are bringing back a familiar player. The Royals start a homestand. KU baseball has its magical season end just a step short of the College World Series. A World Cup referee from Somalia is not allowed in the USA. In the news, President Trump was a big story at the NBA Finals. Kansas City is cleaning up for the World Cup in a way one of our listeners has shared he's noticed. Phil Sarnecki wins a straw poll after last week's debate of candidates for governor. Spencer Pratt is out in LA. You won't believe the touching email I received from a patron about his daughter being a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. And the Iceman turns into something disgusting after scientists scrape his corpse in our Final Final.

Is the frustration of the Iran conflict starting to grind on President Trump? He's got bold new statements on Monday morning just a day after NBC News aired an exchange with Kristen Welker that left Trump taking off his microphone, ending the interview and walking out. We'll bring you up to speed on all of it. Is it impossible for a pastor to win a Democrat primary in 2026? A political science professor writes a story that leads you to believe there are just too many democrats that hate religion for Pastor Adam Hamilton to get nominated. Gunfire roars all over KCMO this weekend just as the World Cup is getting started. We have a great compilation for you of terrific celebrity grad speeches. Team USA wears pride uniforms on D-Day... playing against Germany. Who is in charge of soccer in this country? KU baseball is on the ropes in college baseball, the Royals have a 5-2 road trip. Travis Kelce has his own ice cream and leaves a big tip. And in our Final Final, Charlie Sheen has a unique calculation of how many cigarettes he smoked over 33 years.
President Trump had a full day handling questions about uranium in Iran, a reflecting pool filling with water and his planned trip to the NBA Finals. All while dems say he doesn't communicate and isn't transparent enough. This man is so busy it's incredible he doesn't get things jumbled. He just doesn't. And, just in time for America 250, he has delivered big time cleaning up the nation's capitol. We have the receipts. Ty Masterson changed his mind after doing this podcast and will now be part of the debate Friday night at JCCC. 60 Minutes has reportedly been courting Joe Rogan... don't hold your breath. We share a lesson about teaching your kids instead of letting teachers or media get ahold of their brains. In Sports, Bobby Witt Jr deserves better than what he's getting with the Royals and we aren't talking salary. We ask one, big, sort of annoying question. Pride month is sure fading in sports. And you're about to hear one of the greatest Cinderella tennis stories of all time. In our Final Final, Trump is quite the attraction at a Zoo in Bangladesh.
Watching a couple great Republican candidates have success in the primaries in California is fun and it does signal something significant. But don't buy into the hype that Spencer Pratt or Steve Hilton will win their general elections. California is locked down by the dems in every way imaginable. 60 Minutes lead anchor Scott Pelley threw a giant hissy fit at the office Monday in front of the whole staff trashing his new boss. So the new boss wasn't the same as the old boss and fired Pelley. This is so good. Three Argentinian soccer fans on bicycles traveled over 10,000 miles the past 10 months to get to Kansas City. What we saw upon their arrival Tuesday was just great. NBA superstar Steph Curry is taking over $1 billion from a Chinese shoe and sportswear company that has long been known for inhumane conditions for workers... and so far there has been zero backlash because of Curry's liberal privilege. The Black Crowes get boo'd and have fans walk out of their concert in Florida after a USA chant breaks out. Royals closer Lucas Erceg is not the man for the job. Time for Daniel Lynch in that role. The Women's College World Series is set and Texas Tech is supposedly the team to hate. The NBA and NHL finals are underway, this will be a fun few days. And our Final Final is an incredibly ambitious plan for 50,000 people to permanantly live on a ship. You have to hear this.
The Kansas Jayhawks, for the first time in two weeks, looked lifeless at out of it through three innings against Arkansas. They trailed 5-0. Then they explode for 11 unanswered runs and win 13-10 to advance to the Super Regional later this week. We have the details on who they will play and where. Johnson County Community College smashed all kinds of college baseball records this year winning the National Title and finishin 67-3. Incredible. The NBA Finals are set and one bettor is $1.7 million richer because the Knicks and Spurs have made it this far. The World Cup is finally here in KC as team Argentina has arrived. Vanilla Ice isn't pulling out of "Freedom 250" and doesn't think it's a big deal if anyone plays or doesn't play. Dr. Jill Biden continues to dish out lies about her husband's presidency and the Big Slick celebs want to bring an NBA team to KC. In our Final Final, Morgan Wallen channels his inner Billy Joel.
The state of Kansas has about a thousand issues Missouri doesn't have. Eight years with a Dem governor will have that effect. The state is 43rd in America in average income. The state income tax is the highest in the region and for 2 million people it's a 3-6 hour U-Haul to zero state tax in Texas. The population is shrinking and that's very rare for a red state. Missouri is working toward zero percent income tax and the exodus of Kansas residents to Missouri would be an eastern moving tidal wave in KC. The budget has soared over 60% for no good reason at all. Oh, and the government schools are a total mess as they scream for more money from Topeka. Jeff Colyer was governor for a year in 2018-19. He left a surplus and a record of transparency and accountability. It's long gone. Governor Colyer is back after a full life as a surgeon, volunteer surgeon around the globe and years of public service in his home state. He appears to be the frontrunner in a really crowed field for governor and here's here to tell you what he's planning to do to clean up the mess. Then, in our Final Final, a 177 year old brand that reminds me of my dad closes down.

Ok, there is one thing we can all agree on. Rashee Rice is not worthy of playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. The terrible teammate, terrible friend and terrible partner is a continuing crap show that isn't good enough to stay. Reports, as he's in jail for 30 days, indicate he broke his probation by getting high. Other reports try to tamp it down and say this should have been served a year ago. Then another report that he's hurt and out for two months. Stop. Just stop. On to less controversial things like NPR having two listeners, yes two, that gave them gifts totaling $113 million and they still want to lay off employees. The Trump ballroom is suddenly a military installation and security facility for the White House. Yes please. Bill Self opens up with the Athletic and his non retirement sounds even more confusing. The new, biggest star in the NBA should be the last straw that leads to raising the hoop a foot and making the court bigger. I got an email from a strange source encouraging me to get FIFA Fan Fest tickets. This doesn't pass the smell test. And in our Final Final an overnight clerk at and Exxon station tries to steal money without hurting his employer and gets arrested.
After Mayor Q took to Facebook to blame property owners and business owners for the change at iconic Town Topic Burgers to not stay open 24 hours, you had to figure he'd hear from them. And man, has he. We have the deets. A clearly liberal judge in Lawrence has decided that the new law in Kansas to keep adults from mutilating their kids and pouring drugs in them they weren't born to have... shouldn't be a law at all. This has ACLU money all over it. JD Vance is headed to KC, Trump warns Iran again and Cuba may be thinking of firing a couple drones at Americans as their oil has pretty much run out. The Royals horrible road trip ends with a win. One win. Andy Reid does a series of interviews and they all ask him about Mahomes week one. I found the best, most complete explanation of it all and will play it here. Eli Manning tells a great Marty Schottenheimer story, the NFL has "rest disparity" now and when dudes win in girls sports in California now, they have a special podium for both winners. In our Final Final, a big name celebrity cancels his singing tour as apparently nobody knew he had a band.

President Trump is off to China with the heaviest heavy hitters America has. Business, Government, Investment, Energy.... it's a full press as he has slowed China's oil flow and looks to broker big plans for America, and maybe, the rest of the world. Alberta is ready to have a vote to leave Canada, we have a couple experts with all the reasons and a promise its happening... at least someday. The Olathe School Board sits in front of a mom that lost her son and crushes her yet again. Who are these people? The Chiefs open at home on Monday night football against the broncos and the rest of the schedule is ready to bust out. Footnote: this pod was recorded before we knew if the game would be in KC or Denver. It's KC. Mizzou runningback Ahmad Hardy is recovering from gunshot wounds in one of the biggest mystery stories of the off season. A former Royal tells a story about playing for Bobby Cox in Atlanta and how they faked an injury so the player could leave the game and play 27 holes with Tiger Woods. And our Final Final is for the birds.

Sunday President Trump said Iran's proposal regarding nukes and enrichment for weapons is "totally unacceptable." So what's next? This could get rough again. The head of Homeland Security made a stop in KC to speak about needing more funding for his agency and in the process just ripped in to Congressman Emanuel Cleaver. The Missouri Supreme Court starts hearing cases Tuesday on whether the new congressional map in the state is legal. In sports, the Royals can't get the sweep and head out on the road this week. KU baseball gets swept at home by West Virginia but can still win the Big 12 regular season title. Ricky Fowler never wins at golf and a record is set on the Price is Right for our Final Final.
Trump the pragmatist is our lead at KKHI as he's come up with yet another possible solution to a real problem. It's called Project Freedom and it basically means we are going to safeguard ships for passage in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump is a fixer, no doubt. We revisit at column written over 8 years ago that recognized how his presidency works. The prez was in Flroida this weekend at the PGA Tour event at his course, Trump Doral. The winner got a big thumbs up, the president had dinner with all the players and some unruly dude on the course got booted. Just another Sunday in Trump world. Southwest Airlines has the most beautiful American airplance you've ever seen. A business owner writes a story on how to buy a brand new $108,000 luxury SUV for $52,000 thanks to the Big, Beautiful Bill. For the second weekend in a row, the Royals get a sweep... this time on the road in Seattle. Now it's 7 games at home against the first place Guardians and second place Tigers. KU baseball is crazy good this year and they get another sweep as they look to be a force in the NCAA College World Series Tournament. A pair of brothers finish first and second in the Kentucky Derby and there's a wonderful picture of how much these brothers love each other. And in our Final Final, another company waves goodbye to fountain drinks.

It's a night I will never forget as Master of Ceremonies at the Clay County Republicans Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Day Dinner at Harrah's casino's ballroom in North Kansas City. White House Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary Will Scharf was the guest speaker and after he gave a wonderful speech about his new found fame introducing all the executive orders and handing them to the President in the Oval Office, I sat down with him on stage for a question and answer session. It would be a mix of serious and fun questions... until his phone went off like a fire alarm. The whole room could hear it and we all thought it was President Trump calling in to say hello to the crowd. It was not. It was just a moment after the assassination attempt in DC Saturday night and the next ten minutes would be simply remarkable for everyone in attendance. Especially Will Scharf. I have it all on tape and will play it for you. Then, we go over the full Chiefs draft as it looks like they just crushed it. They're clearly going in a new direction with the team. And in our Final Final, NFL owners political contributions are very one sided... to Republicans.
As the Board of Education appears poised to take a long-awaited position on the School District of Philadelphia's facilities master plan, tensions have escalated between district officials and local lawmakers. Some Council members have gone as far as to threaten withholding funds from the district if it follows through on closing over a dozen buildings. Dr. Tony Watlington Sr. finds himself smack dab in the middle of the controversy. The superintendent tells KYW Newsradio Education Reporter Mike DeNardo why reconciling his proposal isn't as easy as pointing to the district's considerable $4.6 billion budget. 00:00 “Final ‘final' recommendations” and changes to facilities plan ahead of upcoming Board meeting 01:38 Why Watlington has kept Lankenau and Robeson High Schools on the closure list 04:25 Watlington's back-and-forth with City Council members 07:22 Are SEPTA passes with unlimited rides for students a good idea? The Royals played a terrific game and bailed out the organization's leadership team after two absolutely awful pre-determined roster roles before spring training even started. The good news, I double we will see Charlie Sheen attempt to close another game in Royals blue. Now it's opening day and the Royals are big faves against the Twins... Let's go! Topeka native Gary Woodland could be the best sports story in the world this year after recovering from brain surgery, publicly dealing with PTSD and winning a tourney for the first time in almost 7 years. This is a great American sports story. The Final 4 is set and Illinois coach Brad Underwood and his star freshman from KC are living the dream. A new report indicates Tiger Woods was told by Trump's Secret Service that he could not operate a motor vehicle with any of Trump's grandchildren in the car or he'd be arrested. This was BEFORE his fourth crash since 2009. The No Kings rallies are filled with liberal gaffes, Trump wants to control and rename the Strait of Hormuz and we have a tasty Final Final if you like candy bars.
Live from The Stray Theater in Los Angeles!
The Kansas Jayhawks coasted home after building a 26 point lead in their opening game of the NCAA tournament. It gets tougher from here. Meanwhile, Mizzou was Mizzou storming back to take a lead with less than 8:00 to play against Miami... and then falling apart. Is Dennis Gates the long term coach for the Tigers? Faves went 16-0 on Friday. Has paying players and unlimited transferring killed Cinderella? The Royals have their full team back and playing together and none too soon. The season opens Friday. I've got some thoughts on Jac Caglianone that may not make you very happy. CBS Radio News is closing for good on May 22. This is not as big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be. Elon Musk offers to pay TSA employees. And the great Chuck Norris is remembered in our Final Final.
After announcers told everyone the USA's win over Mexico Monday night put the Americans into the next round AND manager Mark DeRosa did interviews acknowledging their ticket was punched.... it turns out they were wrong. Jac Caglianone homers form team Italy as they beat the USA 8-6 and now our Red, White and Blue await the outcome of tonight's Italy v Mexico game to find out if they advance. How is this possible? Travis Kelce credits Taylor Swift for his decision to return to the Chiefs for another year. And it wasn't what she said to him. This is pretty strong. A 12 year old girl from Kearney is headed to Augusta National to play on national tv in the Drive, Chip and Putt competition. An area golf course group wants to help send her by raising money for the costs... you can help by going to www.tiffanygreensgolf.com. CNN posts a ridiculous account of the NYC jihadist bomb throwers and takes it down. When will this stop? A supermodel from the 1980's has lost her $420 million fortune. A new documentary in theaters is almost exclusively new Elvis footage that was found in a cave in Kansas. You have to hear this. A national sports bar chain has come up with a disgusting buffalo wing flavored cocktail. And we have the best Father/Son birthday story you will hear this year in our Final Final.
A report on Sunday indicates Travis Kelce has decided to come back for a 14th season but says he and his agent may be shopping around to play for somebody other than the Chiefs. Seems unlikely but I think we'd understand why. KCI was evacuated due to a bomb threat Sunday as would be passengers poured out of the terminal and planes onto the tarmac, the streets and cell phone lots. It was a crazy scene. Iran has chosen the son of the former Supreme Leader to take charge. This seems like a death wish. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer just unloads on President Obams for his hateful speech at Jesse Jackson's funeral and it didn't sit well with Jackson's son, either. The conference tournaments are set in KC and Nashville for our area basketball teams. It starts after a scathing column by a writer in Arizona that can't believe the tourney is in KC every year. USA Baseball is rolling in the World Baseball Classic and has games against Mexico and Italy the next two nights. 17 Royals are playing in the tournament. A former runningback at Alabama calls out Nick Saban. Charlie Woods is the highest priced college golfer and the worlds largest flashlight is changing the eco system in our Final Final.
We have so many questions about a man from California that is charged with placing 20 small bombs in a trash can next to Liberty Memorial and the World War I museum. At the top of the list... why isn't this a bigger story and why don't we know anything about Owen Canizales Argueta? Jackson County has announced charges against the man but that's about it. This doesn't pass the smell test. European countries are doing a 180 with president Trump and will now allow the United States to use their facilities to continue attack Iran. The B-2's from Whiteman are headed to a base on land owned by the UK. Shocking, they changed their mind after a drone hit one of their facilities. A Senator bolts down from the stage and helps two security guards tackle and remove a big, strong protester at an Armed Services committee meeting. Wait until you hear about the dude that broke in. A man in Arkansas that is awaiting his trial for murder wins the GOP primary for Sheriff in his county. You have to hear this story. A federal court in Tennessee has its first conviction in the Chilean theft ring that broke into the homes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. The Trent McDuffie trade excites Chiefs fans in both good ways and bad. The Royals have their first announcer in 15 years that isn't a white dude. Lou Holtz passes at 89 and having been around him many times, it feels like I knew him. And our Final Final is three stories about three different rock bands.
Like many people, my daily schedule must run on time and has a routine. While that's a great goal for a president to have, it must be nearly impossible. We present to you today what we know about President Trump giving the command to attack Iran and the other things he was doing when he gave the nine word order. It's truly incredible to hear and of course, finished with him ordering hamburgers for everyone at a Whataburger in Texas. Amazing. Trump also summed up what we discussed a little on yesterday's podcast... the Dems are going to criticize him no matter what. Many dems that were calling for action against Iran are now blasting Trump for doing it. You can't make this up. Bill Clinton's testimony in the Epstein investigation is sad and embarrassing. We are not only reminded what a creepy and out of control man he is... now his hands shake profusely and he seems confused. This is not good for America. We touched a nerve talking about Pastor Adam Hamilton and his run for US Senate as the emails I received were all about uncomfortable experiences people have had with Hamilton and his church. I can't get enough infor about the runningback the Chiefs want and now it's believed other NFL teams are on high alert to prevent it. The Royals announce the signing of an old outfielder that's had a great career. And ICE has a sneaky new tactic they are using... we'll tell you in our Final Final.
Nobody wants war but after nearly 50 years of killing Americans and chanting "Death to America" it was eventually going to happen with Iran and their radical, oppressive regime. In an incredible show of military precision and strengh, Iran's leaders were taken out and their military operations have been pounded and are in chaos. To be sure, President Trump did exactly what he said he would do. He said it on the campaign trail, he warned them publicy and then he did it. If this somehow creates peace in the middle east, it will be his crowning achievement. A Kansas City mega church pastor is planning to run for US Senate and he's certainly well known. But not always for the reasons you may like. Andy Reid couldn't make it to the NFL Combine this year recovering from a knee procedure but he sure is upbeat about rebuilding his football team. KU gets beaten up pretty good in Arizona. Mizzou rolls and has a great shot at finishing 4th or higher in the SEC. Carter Jensen goes deep for the Royals. The Cardinals are discounting all you can eat tickets this year and Tyler Reddick wins for the third week in a row in the NASCAR Cup Series.... to start the season! And something is just a little fishy about our Final Final today.
It was a tough day for transgenders in Kansas and Missouri and the freakout is pretty funny to watch. About 1000 Kansans may have to change one letter on their drivers license under a new law that is in place but won't really even be enforced... at least for a while. My god, what has the world come to. So triggering. And in Missouri, the House passes a law that the overwhelming majority of Americans support as they aim to make it illegal for boys to play in girls sports. Oh, the humanity. A St. Louis tv station reports one of the greatest stories every as it appears most Missouri police departments are working with ICE and turning over illegals when they commit a crime. Wait until you hear what the reporter learned about incentives for those departments to cooperate. The World Cup has a Mexico problem as there are 22 mass graves in and around Guadalajara. In the first four they've dug out, they have found over 500 body bags from cartel violence. There are 130,000 "disappeared" people in Mexico and ALL are presumed dead at the hands of cartels. Are they really playing soccer there? Jac Caglione and Carter Jensen have a monster day for the Royals in Arizona. If these guys are good this year.... watch out. The Royals will be hard to beat. Hall of Fame golfer Tom Watson and the staff at www.watsonlinks.org announce the cities and states this program will be offered to junior golfers has tripled... amazing. A golfer at a tournament in South Africa nearly dies... but not on the course. You have to hear this crazy story of a two time winner that is lucky to be alive. And our Final Final is quite a joke from the folks at the Tampa airport.
This is my favorite State of the Union address and favorite Trump speech ever. I've probably said it before but this is the one. I was imploring Trump as the speech unfolded to go off script and point out that two year olds pout less than the grumpy democrats in the room that couldn't applaud low gas prices, more private sector jobs or closed borders. Then he dropped the bomb on them. "Stand up if you agree the first duty of government is to protect American citizens and not illegal aliens." This was THE moment of the speech and painted a perfect picture of a party hell bent to change America forever by ignoring the laws we all voted for. Olathe Police say they have now arrested four people total for the high school brawl we saw at Olathe Northwest. El Mencho got taken out because his Only Fans model that visited him for the weekend was trailed. In sports, Mizzou gets a big win. Chiefs GM Brett Veach wants to sign cornerback Trent McDuffie and is excited to rebuild the roster. George Brett, Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. now have something very much in common and they celebrated together at spring training. KU fans want ESPN announcer Fran Fraschilla banned from Allen Fieldhouse. The UFL has some great new rules this season and our Final Final is a list of businesses you don't want to start.
Team USA wins Olympic Gold in hockey and if anyone can actually believe it, this seems to be dividing Americans. Jack Hughes delivered the Golden Goal and the celebration was wild. It involved a tribute to a fallen teammate, an awkward medal ceremony for the Canadians, the FBI Directory pounding Mich Ultras partying in the locker room and President Trump on the phone. Trump promised America would get tired of all the winning and if you see what liberals and their media are saying... it's true. They are sick of Trump and patriotic Americans winning. It was a tough Saturday for our college basketball teams, especially KU. Chiefs Receiver Hollywood Brown shares a really sad story about NFL player Rondale Moore who was found dead in a garage. A crazed gunman fixated on Epstein and Trump goes to Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun and a gas can. The left just keeps stoking the fire in crazy people to go try to get Trump... even if it kills them. Two KC area high schools make big news with protests gone wrong... this has to stop. And our Final Final is a Chiefs legend and a famous actor in a big time commercial.
It finally happened and I couldn't be happier. The US Women's Olympic Hockey Team reeled me in to an Olympics I was pouting over because of all the anti Trump coverage from a giant corporate media machine that doesn't hate you enough. These women are the best and through a fluke, had their backs to the wall against Canada playing for the gold. But these "Free Bird" rocking, bad ass, flag waving chicks saved the day in dramatic overtime fashion and did what we would all do. The wore the metals, put on some Lynyrd Skynyrd and drank champagne into the night. God Bless America! It had been decades since an American figure skater won gold and that ended as well when Alysa Liu dazzled with pure California style and American swagger. Her story is one NBC Sports doesn't want you to know as China has tried to pay her millions to compete for them. Her dad was born Chinese and escaped the oppressive regime for America many, many years ago and we watched a true immigration success story play out right before our eyes. Royals Hall of Famer Bo Jackson shares a really fun story about a really hot day game at Kauffman Stadium. Gracie Hunt is headed to Turning Point USA with Erica Kirk this summer. In DC, it's time for a voter ID standing filibuster in the Senate. We'll give you a history lesson about the longest filibuster on record. Here's a hint... it has to do with racist democrats. Trump opens the Board of Peace in DC and shares a couple man crush stories on JD Vance and Marco Rubio. Kash Patel talks to much on Dan Bongino's podcast. A television executive says Savanah Guthrie is never going back to the Today Show. And a famous comedian could be the reason Trump is president today in our Final Final.
The highest level Trump administration officials gathered two days ago for a seminar on how to win the midterm elections. Reports indicate the information they learned and the campaign they will offer are different than what you may think. Stephen Colbert is just a flat out liar as he has tried to rig a senate primary in Texas in favor of a white male running against Jasmine Crockett, a black female. The Kansas House overrides the governor's veto and has defined gender in the state that will apply to bathrooms, ID's and driver licences. U2 goes all Sprinsteen with their own song about Renee Good and it's almost as bad. But there's a silver lining about local musicians in KC that I'll share with you. KU rolls at OSU but once Darryn Peterson had a big first half and it was obvious KU had this, he sat with cramps. Oh, well. Mizzou builds a 19 point lead over Vandy but has to hang on. But they did... and they're in pretty good shape for the tourney if they can finish well. There's a flurry of Chiefs news with Rashee Rice being sued and Patrick Mahomes getting a new contract. Three college basketball coaches melt down and it makes Jerome Tang look tame. We have a Gary Lezak story for you and our Final Final is about a tasty treat changing its ingredients.
While the left works hard to find any little thing that looks bad for ICE or our current enforcement of immigration, the man in charge turns out to be a real human with a real heart. Wait until you hear the story Tom Homan told at a conference about the victims of our open borders. According to a report by the Topeka Cap Journal, democrats approved all kinds of voter packets to be sent to Kansans that never requested them. This is a huge scam. We have the information you need to disable that start/stop button on your car. Ron DeSantis hammers NYC over the Mayor's new budget as it's bigger than the entire state of Florida budget. In sports, no Jerome Tang spells success for KSU as they get a win. The Royals take batting practice with the new ball/strike computer system on at Surprise Stadium. It happened on a day the leader of the player's union resigned in a sex scandal. And a self proclaimed "woke bit__" skating for team USA had a little too much Trump hate in her heart and flamed out on the ice and then embarrassed us all as a total baby balling her eyes out. Ughh. Tiger Woods is in the news and our Final Final is a beautiful message about Jesse Jackson.
What has happened that we seem to have two sets of laws in America today. From Tucson to Minneapolis and now, to KC... enforcement of the law comes down to one thing for those that commit crimes. Do you love Trump or hate him? A woman in KC sets fire to the building ICE wants to use and apparently authorities do not care at all. Karoline Leavitt has fun trolling President Obama over voter ID saying Dems are panicked while posting a cool video. Switzerland has had enough of illegal aliens pouring in and will hold a vote to limit the population of their country. In sports, Jerome Tang blasting his players has made the K-State coach famous national as ESPN has a field day with his pathetic words. The Daytona 500 is set for Sunday... we love the Great American Race. Danny Clinkscale has a total meltdown on our Patron's Podcast Thursday about Golf Channel's lead announcer Steve Sands... this is hilarious and you will love it. And our Final Final is a USA skier that says too much.
At his State of the City address, Mayor Q pledges he will reach an agreement with the Royals this year to build a downtown stadium. If he pulls it off, this will be great for KC. Mizzou wins in a wild one at A&M and suddenly anything feels possible. Meanwhile, Jerome Tang melts down after losing by 29 at a game the students wore paper bags over their heads. The Olathe School district, already mired in a cesspool of negative stories, is asking for $389 million in a sham mail in vote. Don't tell them no. Tell them hell no! KCMO radio's Pete Mundo has received a tremendous national honor as having one of the top shows in America. Bobby Witt Jr has brought his puppy to training camp and you can follow on the dog's Instagram page. The Big 12 makes its "major announcement" about a change in KC for the tourney. The Chiefs make a nice hire for running backs coach. ESPN's Seth Greenberg unloads on Darryn Peterson of KU. We'll play the audio for you. And say goodbye to the Obama Button in our Final Final.
NBC Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie, along with her brother and sister, recorded and released a video where they appeal to possible kidnappers that they are willing to listen about a ranson for their mom Nancy, but they need proof of life. It was one of the most real, raw, shocking and heartbreaking videos you've ever seen in your life. This story had all the markings of being historic right from the beginning and it has now captured the attention of an entire nation. President Trump called Savannah Guthrie and told her he is throwing the full support of all federal agencies into the investigation as it appears authorities at all levels believe there is a chance Nancy is still alive. This could be so many things. In sports, I've got one player that is more important than any other in Sunday's Super Bowl and have some some easy to understand numbers that back it up. Then, are you ready for some silly and fun action at your watch party? Lee Sterling is here to help us out from the national anthem time to passing yards for qb's. Only the Super Bowl. And our Final Final is a building being torn down that matters a great deal to my family.
The mystery around the abduction of Nancy Guthrie from her bed while she slept sounds worse with every passing hour. NBC's Savanah Guthrie has released a statement of hope even as authorities say they found blood and signs of a struggle in the home. We don't know a motive and they haven't named a person of interest. This is awful. A whole bunch of singers said crazy things about ICE and such at the GRAMMY Awards Sunday but one in particular stands out as the dumbest. Now she may get visitors to her house taking her up on her offer that there are no borders and nobody is illegal on any property. This could get good. Dan Bongino returns to podcasting and made a statement that's as lame as his work at the FBI. In sports, the Royals have a new tv deal that should work out for you. KU is rolling as Darryn Peterson drops two huge three pointers at the end of the game at Tech. But Flory was the story of this one as KU's defense is just ridiculous right now. Watch out for this team! Mizzou has two McDonald's All Americans for the first time. Kelvin Sampson laments the current rules of transfer and NIL, Roger Goodell is asked about Bad Bunny playing halftime and former Royal Chris Getz is now GM of the White Sox and announces an interesting change he made in the plumbing of the team's locker room. It's our Final Final and you have to hear this.

What if the Royals played everyone here and were actually the smartest, most brilliant business tacticians in all of this Kansas City stadium drama? It's either that or they are the luckiest outfit ever. We'll let you decide but there's no denying 5 years ago the Royals said they were getting a new stadium and they wanted it downtown. When that failed at every turn, did they use Overland Park and Kansas officials for leverage to get what they wanted? Did they let the Chiefs move first, something they know doubt knew was in the works, to let the freak out happen? It's possible. If not... wow were they lucky. Hey, turns out Alex Pretti was known to the feds as a problem... we have some details. Also in Minneapolis, an agitator confronts Ilhan Omar and, get this, the Minneapolis local police arrest the guy. Go figure. Bill Belichick fails to get the vote to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame and it shows just how absurd and petty the committee members are. The Chiefs name two local architecture firms working to design their new stadium. I don't think it's a competition. Darryn Peterson is ready to rock Saturday against BYU and their star freshman AJ Dybansta. K-State has a buyout problem with Jerome Tang, Mizzou gets drilled at Alabama. A billionaire is paying our Olympic athletes and a man in New Jersey is ordered by his wife to return expensive orange juice to the store and it turns out your wife always knows best. You have to hear this Final Final.
