The state of Kansas has about a thousand issues Missouri doesn't have.  Eight years with a Dem governor will have that effect.  The state is 43rd in America in average income.  The state income tax is the highest in the region and for 2 million people it's a 3-6 hour U-Haul to zero state tax in Texas.   The population is shrinking and that's very rare for a red state.       Missouri is working toward zero percent income tax and the exodus of Kansas residents to Missouri would be an eastern moving tidal wave in KC.  The budget has soared over 60% for no good reason at all.    Oh, and the government schools are a total mess as they scream for more money from Topeka.    Jeff Colyer was governor for a year in 2018-19.  He left a surplus and a record of transparency and accountability.  It's long gone.    Governor Colyer is back after a full life as a surgeon, volunteer surgeon around the globe and years of public service in his home state.  He appears to be the frontrunner in a really crowed field for governor and here's here to tell you what he's planning to do to clean up the mess.     Then, in our Final Final, a 177 year old brand that reminds me of my dad closes down.

   Sunday President Trump said Iran's proposal regarding nukes and enrichment for weapons is "totally unacceptable."  So what's next?  This could get rough again.    The head of Homeland Security made a stop in KC to speak about needing more funding for his agency and in the process just ripped in to Congressman Emanuel Cleaver.    The Missouri Supreme Court starts hearing cases Tuesday on whether the new congressional map in the state is legal.   In sports, the Royals can't get the sweep and head out on the road this week.  KU baseball gets swept at home by West Virginia but can still win the Big 12 regular season title.  Ricky Fowler never wins at golf and a record is set on the Price is Right for our Final Final.

   It's a night I will never forget as Master of Ceremonies at the Clay County Republicans Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Day Dinner at Harrah's casino's ballroom in North Kansas City.     White House Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary Will Scharf was the guest speaker and after he gave a wonderful speech about his new found fame introducing all the executive orders and handing them to the President in the Oval Office, I sat down with him on stage for a  question and answer session.  It would be a mix of serious and fun questions... until his phone went off like a fire alarm.  The whole room could hear it and we all thought it was President Trump calling in to say hello to the crowd.  It was not.  It was just a moment after the assassination attempt in DC Saturday night and the next ten minutes would be simply remarkable for everyone in attendance.  Especially Will Scharf.  I have it all on tape and will play it for you.   Then, we go over the full Chiefs draft as it looks like they just crushed it.  They're clearly going in a new direction with the team.   And in our Final Final, NFL owners political contributions are very one sided... to Republicans.

   The Royals played a terrific game and bailed out the organization's leadership team after two absolutely awful pre-determined roster roles before spring training even started.  The good news, I double we will see Charlie Sheen attempt to close another game in Royals blue.  Now it's opening day and the Royals are big faves against the Twins... Let's go!    Topeka native Gary Woodland could be the best sports story in the world this year after recovering from brain surgery, publicly dealing with PTSD and winning a tourney for the first time in almost 7 years.  This is a great American sports story.    The Final 4 is set and Illinois coach Brad Underwood and his star freshman from KC are living the dream.    A new report indicates Tiger Woods was told by Trump's Secret Service that he could not operate a motor vehicle with any of Trump's grandchildren in the car or he'd be arrested.  This was BEFORE his fourth crash since 2009.    The No Kings rallies are filled with liberal gaffes, Trump wants to control and rename the Strait of Hormuz and we have a tasty Final Final if you like candy bars.

   A report on Sunday indicates Travis Kelce has decided to come back for a 14th season but says he and his agent may be shopping around to play for somebody other than the Chiefs.  Seems unlikely but I think we'd understand why.    KCI was evacuated due to a bomb threat Sunday as would be passengers poured out of the terminal and planes onto the tarmac, the streets and cell phone lots.  It was a crazy scene.    Iran has chosen the son of the former Supreme Leader to take charge.  This seems like a death wish.  Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer just unloads on President Obams for his hateful speech at Jesse Jackson's funeral and it didn't sit well with Jackson's son, either.   The conference tournaments are set in KC and Nashville for our area basketball teams.  It starts after a scathing column by a writer in Arizona that can't believe the tourney is in KC every year.    USA Baseball is rolling in the World Baseball Classic and has games against Mexico and Italy the next two nights.  17 Royals are playing in the tournament.   A former runningback at Alabama calls out Nick Saban.   Charlie Woods is the highest priced college golfer and the worlds largest flashlight is changing the eco system in our Final Final.

   We have so many questions about a man from California that is charged with placing 20 small bombs in a trash can next to Liberty Memorial and the World War I museum.  At the top of the list... why isn't this a bigger story and why don't we know anything about Owen Canizales Argueta?  Jackson County has announced charges against the man but that's about it.  This doesn't pass the smell test.    European countries are doing a 180 with president Trump and will now allow the United States to use their facilities to continue attack Iran.  The B-2's from Whiteman are headed to a base on land owned by the UK.  Shocking, they changed their mind after a drone hit one of their facilities.    A Senator bolts down from the stage and helps two security guards tackle and remove a big, strong protester at an Armed Services committee meeting.  Wait until you hear about the dude that broke in.    A man in Arkansas that is awaiting his trial for murder wins the GOP primary for Sheriff in his county.  You have to hear this story.    A federal court in Tennessee has its first conviction in the Chilean theft ring that broke into the homes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.  The Trent McDuffie trade excites Chiefs fans in both good ways and bad.  The Royals have their first announcer in 15 years that isn't a white dude.  Lou Holtz passes at 89 and having been around him many times, it feels like I knew him.  And our Final Final is three stories about three different rock bands.

   Like many people, my daily schedule must run on time and has a routine.  While that's a great goal for a president to have, it must be nearly impossible.  We present to you today what we know about President Trump giving the command to attack Iran and the other things he was doing when he gave the nine word order.  It's truly incredible to hear and of course, finished with him ordering hamburgers for everyone at a Whataburger in Texas.  Amazing.    Trump also summed up what we discussed a little on yesterday's podcast... the Dems are going to criticize him no matter what.  Many dems that were calling for action against Iran are now blasting Trump for doing it.  You can't make this up.    Bill Clinton's testimony in the Epstein investigation is sad and embarrassing.  We are not only reminded what a creepy and out of control man he is... now his hands shake profusely and he seems confused.  This is not good for America.    We touched a nerve talking about Pastor Adam Hamilton and his run for US Senate as the emails I received were all about uncomfortable experiences people have had with Hamilton and his church.    I can't get enough infor about the runningback the Chiefs want and now it's believed other NFL teams are on high alert to prevent it.  The Royals announce the signing of an old outfielder that's had a great career.   And ICE has a sneaky new tactic they are using... we'll tell you in our Final Final.  

   Nobody wants war but after nearly 50 years of killing Americans and chanting "Death to America" it was eventually going to happen with Iran and their radical, oppressive regime.  In an incredible show of military precision and strengh, Iran's leaders were taken out and their military operations have been pounded and are in chaos.  To be sure, President Trump did exactly what he said he would do.  He said it on the campaign trail, he warned them publicy and then he did it.  If this somehow creates peace in the middle east, it will be his crowning achievement.    A Kansas City mega church pastor is planning to run for US Senate and he's certainly well known.  But not always for the reasons you may like.     Andy Reid couldn't make it to the NFL Combine this year recovering from a knee procedure but he sure is upbeat about rebuilding his football team.   KU gets beaten up pretty good in Arizona.  Mizzou rolls and has a great shot at finishing 4th or higher in the SEC.  Carter Jensen goes deep for the Royals.  The Cardinals are discounting all you can eat tickets this year and Tyler Reddick wins for the third week in a row in the NASCAR Cup Series.... to start the season!    And something is just a little fishy about our Final Final today.

   It was a tough day for transgenders in Kansas and Missouri and the freakout is pretty funny to watch.  About 1000 Kansans may have to change one letter on their drivers license under a new law that is in place but won't really even be enforced... at least for a while.  My god, what has the world come to.  So triggering.  And in Missouri, the House passes a law that the overwhelming majority of Americans support as they aim to make it illegal for boys to play in girls sports.  Oh, the humanity.    A St. Louis tv station reports one of the greatest stories every as it appears most Missouri police departments are working with ICE and turning over illegals when they commit a crime.  Wait until you hear what the reporter learned about incentives for those departments to cooperate.    The World Cup has a Mexico problem as there are 22 mass graves in and around Guadalajara.  In the first four they've dug out, they have found over 500 body bags from cartel violence.  There are 130,000 "disappeared" people in Mexico and ALL are presumed dead at the hands of cartels.  Are they really playing soccer there?    Jac Caglione and Carter Jensen have a monster day for the Royals in Arizona.  If these guys are good this year.... watch out.  The Royals will be hard to beat.    Hall of Fame golfer Tom Watson and the staff at www.watsonlinks.org announce the cities and states this program will be offered to junior golfers has tripled... amazing.      A golfer at a tournament in South Africa nearly dies... but not on the course.  You have to hear this crazy story of a two time winner that is lucky to be alive.    And our Final Final is quite a joke from the folks at the Tampa airport.

   This is my favorite State of the Union address and favorite Trump speech ever.  I've probably said it before but this is the one.  I was imploring Trump as the speech unfolded to go off script and point out that two year olds pout less than the grumpy democrats in the room that couldn't applaud low gas prices, more private sector jobs or closed borders.  Then he dropped the bomb on them.  "Stand up if you agree the first duty of government is to protect American citizens and not illegal aliens."   This was THE moment of the speech and painted a perfect picture of a party hell bent to change America forever by ignoring the laws we all voted for.    Olathe Police say they have now arrested four people total for the high school brawl we saw at Olathe Northwest.   El Mencho got taken out because his Only Fans model that visited him for the weekend was trailed.    In sports, Mizzou gets a big win.  Chiefs GM Brett Veach wants to sign cornerback Trent McDuffie and is excited to rebuild the roster.  George Brett, Salvador Perez and Bobby Witt Jr. now have something very much in common and they celebrated together at spring training.  KU fans want ESPN announcer Fran Fraschilla banned from Allen Fieldhouse.  The UFL has some great new rules this season and our Final Final is a list of businesses you don't want to start.

   Team USA wins Olympic Gold in hockey and if anyone can actually believe it, this seems to be dividing Americans.  Jack Hughes delivered the Golden Goal and the celebration was wild.  It involved a tribute to a fallen teammate, an awkward medal ceremony for the Canadians, the FBI Directory pounding Mich Ultras partying in the locker room and President Trump on the phone.  Trump promised America would get tired of all the winning and if you see what liberals and their media are saying... it's true.  They are sick of Trump and patriotic Americans winning.    It was a tough Saturday for our college basketball teams, especially KU.  Chiefs Receiver Hollywood Brown shares a really sad story about NFL player Rondale Moore who was found dead in a garage.    A crazed gunman fixated on Epstein and Trump goes to Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun and a gas can.  The left just keeps stoking the fire in crazy people to go try to get Trump... even if it kills them.   Two KC area high schools make big news with protests gone wrong... this has to stop.   And our Final Final is a Chiefs legend and a famous actor in a big time commercial.

   It finally happened and I couldn't be happier.  The US Women's Olympic Hockey Team reeled me in to an Olympics I was pouting over because of all the anti Trump coverage from a giant corporate media machine that doesn't hate you enough.  These women are the best and through a fluke, had their backs to the wall against Canada playing for the gold.  But these "Free Bird" rocking, bad ass, flag waving chicks saved the day in dramatic overtime fashion and did what we would all do.  The wore the metals, put on some Lynyrd Skynyrd and drank champagne into the night. God Bless America!   It had been decades since an American figure skater won gold and that ended as well when Alysa Liu dazzled with pure California style and American swagger.  Her story is one NBC Sports doesn't want you to know as China has tried to pay her millions to compete for them.  Her dad was born Chinese and escaped the oppressive regime for America many, many years ago and we watched a true immigration success story play out right before our eyes.     Royals Hall of Famer Bo Jackson shares a really fun story about a really hot day game at Kauffman Stadium.  Gracie Hunt is headed to Turning Point USA with Erica Kirk this summer.    In DC, it's time for a voter ID standing filibuster in the Senate.  We'll give you a history lesson about the longest filibuster on record.  Here's a hint... it has to do with racist democrats.   Trump opens the Board of Peace in DC and shares a couple man crush stories on JD Vance and Marco Rubio.  Kash Patel talks to much on Dan Bongino's podcast.  A television executive says Savanah Guthrie is never going back to the Today Show.  And a famous comedian could be the reason Trump is president today in our Final Final.  

   The highest level Trump administration officials gathered two days ago for a seminar on how to win the midterm elections.  Reports indicate the information they learned and the campaign they will offer are different than what you may think.    Stephen Colbert is just a flat out liar as he has tried to rig a senate primary in Texas in favor of a white male running against Jasmine Crockett, a black female.    The Kansas House overrides the governor's veto and has defined gender in the state that will apply to bathrooms, ID's and driver licences.    U2 goes all Sprinsteen with their own song about Renee Good and it's almost as bad.  But there's a silver lining about local musicians in KC that I'll share with you.    KU rolls at OSU but once Darryn Peterson had a big first half and it was obvious KU had this, he sat with cramps.  Oh, well.   Mizzou builds a 19 point lead over Vandy but has to hang on.  But they did... and they're in pretty good shape for the tourney if they can finish well.   There's a flurry of Chiefs news with Rashee Rice being sued and Patrick Mahomes getting a new contract.  Three college basketball coaches melt down and it makes Jerome Tang look tame.  We have a Gary Lezak story for you and our Final Final is about a tasty treat changing its ingredients.

   While the left works hard to find any little thing that looks bad for ICE or our current enforcement of immigration, the man in charge turns out to be a real human with a real heart.  Wait until you hear the story Tom Homan told at a conference about the victims of our open borders.    According to a report by the Topeka Cap Journal, democrats approved all kinds of voter packets to be sent to Kansans that never requested them.  This is a huge scam.    We have the information you need to disable that start/stop button on your car.  Ron DeSantis hammers NYC over the Mayor's new budget as it's bigger than the entire state of Florida budget.    In sports, no Jerome Tang spells success for KSU as they get a win.  The Royals take batting practice with the new ball/strike computer system on at Surprise Stadium.  It happened on a day the leader of the player's union resigned in a sex scandal.    And a self proclaimed "woke bit__" skating for team USA had a little too much Trump hate in her heart and flamed out on the ice and then embarrassed us all as a total baby balling her eyes out.  Ughh.    Tiger Woods is in the news and our Final Final is a beautiful message about Jesse Jackson.

   What has happened that we seem to have two sets of laws in America today.  From Tucson to Minneapolis and now, to KC... enforcement of the law comes down to one thing for those that commit crimes.  Do you love Trump or hate him?   A woman in KC sets fire to the building ICE wants to use and apparently authorities do not care at all.    Karoline Leavitt has fun trolling President Obama over voter ID saying Dems are panicked while posting a cool video.  Switzerland has had enough of illegal aliens pouring in and will hold a vote to limit the population of their country.    In sports, Jerome Tang blasting his players has made the K-State coach famous national as ESPN has a field day with his pathetic words.  The Daytona 500 is set for Sunday... we love the Great American Race.    Danny Clinkscale has a total meltdown on our Patron's Podcast Thursday about Golf Channel's lead announcer Steve Sands... this is hilarious and you will love it.    And our Final Final is a USA skier that says too much.

   At his State of the City address, Mayor Q pledges he will reach an agreement with the Royals this year to build a downtown stadium.  If he pulls it off, this will be great for KC.    Mizzou wins in a wild one at A&M and suddenly anything feels possible.  Meanwhile, Jerome Tang melts down after losing by 29 at a game the students wore paper bags over their heads.    The Olathe School district, already mired in a cesspool of negative stories, is asking for $389 million in a sham mail in vote.  Don't tell them no.  Tell them hell no!    KCMO radio's Pete Mundo has received a tremendous national honor as having one of the top shows in America.  Bobby Witt Jr has brought his puppy to training camp and you can follow on the dog's Instagram page.  The Big 12 makes its "major announcement" about a change in KC for the tourney.  The Chiefs make a nice hire for running backs coach.    ESPN's Seth Greenberg unloads on Darryn Peterson of KU.  We'll play the audio for you.    And say goodbye to the Obama Button in our Final Final.

   NBC Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie, along with her brother and sister, recorded and released a video where they appeal to possible kidnappers that they are willing to listen about a ranson for their mom Nancy, but they need proof of life.  It was one of the most real, raw, shocking and heartbreaking videos you've ever seen in your life.  This story had all the markings of being historic right from the beginning and it has now captured the attention of an entire nation.   President Trump called Savannah Guthrie and told her he is throwing the full support of all federal agencies into the investigation as it appears authorities at all levels believe there is a chance Nancy is still alive.  This could be so many things.    In sports, I've got one player that is more important than any other in Sunday's Super Bowl and have some some easy to understand numbers that back it up.   Then, are you ready for some silly and fun action at your watch party?  Lee Sterling is here to help us out from the national anthem time to passing yards for qb's.  Only the Super Bowl.   And our Final Final is a building being torn down that matters a great deal to my family.

   The mystery around the abduction of Nancy Guthrie from her bed while she slept sounds worse with every passing hour.  NBC's Savanah Guthrie has released a statement of hope even as authorities say they found blood and signs of a struggle in the home.  We don't know a motive and they haven't named a person of interest.  This is awful.    A whole bunch of singers said crazy things about ICE and such at the GRAMMY Awards Sunday but one in particular stands out as the dumbest.  Now she may get visitors to her house taking her up on her offer that there are no borders and nobody is illegal on any property.  This could get good.   Dan Bongino returns to podcasting and made a statement that's as lame as his work at the FBI.    In sports, the Royals have a new tv deal that should work out for you.  KU is rolling as Darryn Peterson drops two huge three pointers at the end of the game at Tech.  But Flory was the story of this one as KU's defense is just ridiculous right now.  Watch out for this team!    Mizzou has two McDonald's All Americans for the first time.  Kelvin Sampson laments the current rules of transfer and NIL, Roger Goodell is asked about Bad Bunny playing halftime and former Royal Chris Getz is now GM of the White Sox and announces an interesting change he made in the plumbing of the team's locker room.  It's our Final Final and you have to hear this.
