Hoy en el Tema del Día conversamos en vivo desde nuestro estudio con Erika Díaz y Mafe Badillo de la fundación EmpoderaTEA. Para las familias con niños dentro del espectro autista.
Closure is something we've been taught to seek after a relationship ends, a friendship falls apart, or a situation doesn't go as planned. We wait for an apology, an explanation, or a final conversation to give us the “permission” to move on. But what if closure isn't actually necessary? What if waiting for it is only keeping you stuck? In this video, we're breaking the myth that closure is needed to heal. The truth is, you don't need someone else to give you peace—you can create it within yourself. Letting go isn't about getting answers from others; it's about deciding that you deserve to move forward, even without them. I'll be sharing why closure is overrated, how to stop seeking it, and what you can do instead to fully heal and step into a new chapter of your life. If you've been holding on, waiting for the right words or the perfect ending—this is your sign to let go and find peace on your own terms. You are capable of healing, growing, and thriving—without closureWith love, MafeFor business inquiries: mafeanzuresbusiness@gmail.comCheckout my personal socials below https://mafeanzures.com/Go to https://beacons.ai/imissedme and checkout all of I Missed MeSign up to our membership and get access to monthly exclusive content patreon.com/Imissedme#Healing #LettingGo #SelfGrowth #MoveOn #Closure #SelfLove #EmotionalHealing #InnerPeace #MindsetShift #PersonalGrowthOur Sponsors:* Check out Acorns: https://acorns.com/MAFEANZURES* Check out Effecty and use my code MAFEANZURES for a great deal: https://www.effecty.com* Check out Happy Mammoth and use my code MAFEANZURES for a great deal: https://happymammoth.com* Check out Rejoyn: https://www.rejoyn.com* Check out Ross: https://www.ross.com* Check out Shopify: https://shopify.com/mafeanzuresSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/i-missed-me/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

MAFE'S SESSIONS #3We've all heard the phrase “the one that got away” — but what does it actually mean? It's not about being someone's biggest regret or proving a point. It's about becoming so secure, radiant, and aligned with yourself that losing you feels like a missed opportunity. In this video, we're diving deep into what truly makes someone unforgettable: self-growth, healing, and stepping into your power. When you focus on yourself—your confidence, your peace, and your happiness—you naturally become the person people remember, not because you played games, but because you *leveled up*.If you've ever felt undervalued, overlooked, or like you gave too much to someone who didn't appreciate you, this is your sign to shift your energy. You don't need closure. You don't need revenge. You just need to become *so good* that walking away becomes your glow-up.Let's talk about:- Why prioritizing yourself makes you magnetic- How to emotionally detach and move forward with grace- The power of healing and self-growth in becoming “the one that got away”- How to glow up mentally, physically, and emotionallyIt's time to focus on *you*—because the real flex is never looking back. With love, MafeFor business inquiries: mafeanzuresbusiness@gmail.comCheckout my personal socials below https://mafeanzures.com/Go to https://beacons.ai/imissedme and checkout all of I Missed MeSign up to our membership and get access to monthly exclusive content patreon.com/Imissedme#SelfLove #HealingJourney #GlowUp #TheOneThatGotAway #PersonalGrowth #KnowYourWorth #LevelUp #SelfImprovement #Manifestation #ConfidenceBoostOur Sponsors:* Check out Acorns: https://acorns.com/MAFEANZURES* Check out Acorns: https://acorns.com/MAFEANZURES* Check out Effecty and use my code MAFEANZURES for a great deal: https://www.effecty.com* Check out Happy Mammoth and use my code MAFEANZURES for a great deal: https://happymammoth.com* Check out Quince: https://quince.com/mafeanzures* Check out Rejoyn: https://www.rejoyn.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/i-missed-me/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
MAFE'S SESSIONS #2In this video, we're diving deep into the reality of toxic friendships—how to identify them, why they're so damaging, and how to confidently walk away without guilt. Friendships are meant to be uplifting, supportive, and full of love, but sometimes, we find ourselves stuck in relationships that drain our energy, lower our self-esteem, and keep us from growing. If you've ever felt like you're constantly walking on eggshells, giving more than you receive, or questioning your worth because of the people around you, this episode is for you. We'll talk about the red flags to look out for, the emotional toll toxic friendships can take, and the importance of setting boundaries for your own mental and emotional well-being.Letting go of a toxic friendship isn't easy, but it's necessary if you want to create space for healthier, more fulfilling relationships in your life. I'll guide you through the process of cutting ties in a way that prioritizes your healing and self-respect.It's time to protect your peace, choose yourself, and surround yourself with people who genuinely uplift and support you.

Mafe was born and raised in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, where she enjoyed adventurous family trips and a musical environment. Later, her family moved to Margarita Island, but limited opportunities hindered her passion for singing. In 2017, the family made the life-changing decision to relocate to Miami. The transition to a new life in the U.S. was challenging for Mafe and her family, but joining a choir class provided a sense of belonging and helped her overcome language barriers. After graduating with an AA degree in music performance and jazz, Mafe took a year off to determine her path in music. She currently works two jobs and saves money for recording her original music. She enjoys cooking authentic Venezuelan dishes with her mom in her free time.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Despite three turnovers against the Arizona Cardinals, the Seahawks were able to pull off a 20-10 victory over their division rivals. Pete Carroll didn't sound as concerned about the turnovers as he did about the one play of the game that Boye Mafe couldn't run down the quarterback. He made sure to mention it in front of the media multiple times. The Seahawks are going to need Mafe with Nwosu going down to injury (we found out after recording that Frank Clark is returning to Seattle). A pair of rookie receivers each had a touchdown against the Cards, but does it mean that it is time to consider shopping DK near the trade deadline? With the Cleveland Browns coming into town, Geno Smith is going to be watching out for Myles Garrett. Seattle will need to find an answer to the Browns pass rush to help avoid turning the ball over. The Browns offense has been counting on those defensive plays to help out backup QB P.J. Walker. In the second half of the show, we talk more about the Seahawks offense. Adam offers up his picks for the week after hitting a total of four games last week. The Dolphins and a random 49ers fan need to do better for their antics. Finally, better at life honors go out to a long-time Eagles defensive lineman and to the story behind this week's 12 flag raiser. 2023 Podcast Pick'em League Support the show Get in the Flock! When 2 sisters moved to Florida from Venezuela there was something they were missing from their homeland and they wanted to quickly solve that problem. Fittingly named "Toast-It," these sisters built a brand out of the one thing they missed the most after moving to the U.S. from Caracas, Venezuela — their mother's cooking. Mafe and Coco's products are made using ingredients that are true to their Venezuelan culture and after initial success with a handful of retailers, they decided to apply for a spot on Shark Tank! Mafe and Coco's products are made using ingredients that are true to their Venezuelan culture. The Toast-It arepas, for instance, are made using white cornmeal flour, much like the masarepa that's used in traditional arepas. But, they also come in other versions — one that's seeded, combining the cornmeal with flax and chia seeds, and another made with cassava, also known as yuca flour, that is also traditional to Latin cuisines. On Shark Tank O'Leary made the sisters an offer: $100 grand for 20% equity — Mafe and Coco, were asking for the same amount of money for 5%. Guest shark Daniel Lubetzky matched it, and the girls countered by offering them both 15% equity for $150,000, ultimately striking a deal with Lubetsky. On Today's show you'll learn:
