Dans cet épisode on va pour parler de Andre Young, alias Dr. Dre. C’est le grand manitou du rap west coast. C’est un rappeur et surtout un producteur de génie.  En 1999, il donne enfin au monde la suite d’un premier album solo : The Chronic paru sept ans plus tôt. Sur ce nouvel album, étonnamment baptisé 2001, Dr. Dre embarque ses vieux copains Snoop Dogg et Ice Cube, et des nouvelles têtes comme Hitman et Eminem. Dès sa sortie l’album est une bombe ! Il contient une liste incroyable de tubes hardcore au groove imparable, “Still D.R.E”, “Forgot about Dre” et “The next episode”.  2001 est un classique, et peut-être même un des albums les plus influents de l'histoire du rap. On refait son histoire avec mes homies du Radio K7 crew ! Souvenirs. Un rendez-vous intimiste avec un artiste "coup de coeur ",  qui se finit par un live exclusif.  Il est important de préciser qu'ici, on ne croit pas aux genres musicaux, mais au feeling, à la mélodie, à la "vibe" et surtout au travail. “La vie ne dépend pas de ce que l’on voit mais plus de ce que l’on ressent” Le MoodClub vous présente, sur Radio Campus Paris, son “Mood du jour” Dope Saint Jude.  Avant de rentrer dans les détails de cette “riche” rencontre, laissez-nous vous donner quelques tips sur elle : Pour commencer, Dope Saint Jude est une artiste Sud Africaine qui repousse sans cesse les frontières de l’innovation du hip-hop sud-africain. Avec des productions sonores dynamiques, des lyrics atomiques , un show étonnant, impactant et surtout enflammé. Comment vraiment vous décrire, cette folie narrative, rythmique et scénique?  Car c’est justement à cause de “cette singularité” que nous l'avons choisi : On ne saurait la mettre dans une case. Drag King, productrice, rappeuse et surtout humaniste. Sa première aventure musicale fut à l'âge de 9 ans quand elle décida de se pencher sur la guitare familial. Le monde fit sa connaissance, quelques années plus tard, soit fin 2013 avec différents singles ainsi que le clip provocateur “Keep In Touch“ et quelques freestyle dont Xxplosive  et Realtalk. En 2016, Dope Saint Jude collabore avec la chanteuse M.I.A lors d’une campagne pour H et M. Fort de cette expérience, elle décide de se lancer dans son premier projet  musical : Son EP, Reimagine. Aujourd’hui, en ce 2 novembre 2018 sort son nouveau projet Resilient, chez Gingers Sounds : EP 5 titres, qui riment comme une seule et unique phrase. 1.Who i am / 2.Grrrl like/ 3.Liddy/ 4.Didn’t come to play/ 5.Inside. Qui est-elle vraiment? “Une fille comme… Liddy. Qui n’est pas venue pour la jouer de l’intérieur…” Oui mais encore... Qui est-elle vraiment? Pas de panique, MoodClub s’est chargé de le découvrir. A travers cette interview, vous découvrirez Catherine, qui par la suite nous présente Dope Saint Jude et son dernier “nouveau né” Résilient.On y découvre ses impressions sur Paris, où et comment elle a grandi. Ce qui la fait pleurer, rire et quand elle a réellement commencé à composer de la musique. Elle nous dévoile aussi son processus de création, ses inspirations...Nous raconte son dernier projet et son "zine". Pour rester dans notre ligne de conduite, nous aussi, nous lui avons proposé de découvrir un titre: Muanapoto de Tshegue (oui, oui comme nous tous, elle a craqué).
