In honor of Pride, today we took a look at a very interesting film, ‘All Of Us Strangers.' All Of Us Strangers stars Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy. The film follows a screenwriter named Adam (Scott) who has a chance encounter with mysterious neighbor Harry (Mescal), puncturing the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam finds himself drawn back to his childhood home, where his parents appear to be living just as they were on the day they died 30 years ago. All Of Us Strangers premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 2023 and went on to win 7 awards at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards. Dune is based on the original novel written by Frank Herbert. The movies are both directed by Denis Villeneuve and star Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, and many MANY other stars. The story follows Paul Atreides (Chalamet) on the planet Arrakis. Arrakis is home to ‘spice' - the universe's most powerful product that makes interstellar travel possible. After being abandoned on Arrakis with his mother, the 2 join the Fremans (Bardem, Zendaya) to help stop the Harkonnen's from coming to their planet and taking the spice, as well as discovering Paul's calling as the prophet as a Bene Gesserit. There is SO MUCH that takes place across these 2 films that this description does it no justice. The movie follows a similar plot in which Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) takes a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as a security guard after being fired by his last job as a mall cop. The movie takes some creative freedom with the original video game plot but brings all of the animatronic characters to the big screen including Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Mr. Cupcake, Bonnie, and Foxy.
