To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! This episode Dan discusses what he did and experienced at Comic-Con. Deadpool and Wolverine were everywhere and with good reason, they are everywhere in the parks as well. The Haunted Mansion has reopened, the holiday edition and both Gina and Dan have already ridden it and Dan finally gave a visit to the Pixar characters in the Fantasyland Theatre in the never ending Pixar Fest. Come along for the ride as we discuss this and a whole lot more on the Disney Culture podcast.
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! This episode is a big Acolyte discussion and how good of a story it was, whether you liked the writing or not. Lots of talk about the authorized strike and what it may mean. Disneyland celebrated a birthday and Dan was there for the "festivities"? The Last Jedi, Pizza Planet trucks, Halloween in June and a new exclusive for magic key holders involving candy corn. Come along for the ride as we discuss this and a whole lot more on the Disney Culture podcast.
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! A blockbuster episode today as we discuss DAS news, the Oogie Boogie Bash ticket rollout, which seemed smoother than D23. Gina took a visit to Din Tai Fung and went to After Dark: Pride Night. Dan has been sick so he's been catching up on all the Disney content he's missed in recent years. Inside Out 2, the Acolyte, Star Wars and our usual rants. Come along for the ride as we discuss this and a whole lot more on the Disney Culture podcast.
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! It's been a busy time for the Disney Culture crew from Graduation (Bashes) and the opening of Pixar Fest. The gang talks about their experiences with Pixar Fest, entertainment options, Universal Studios' Grad Bash and a whole lot more. Dan visited Castle Peak and Thunder Railroad, the backyard mini Disneyland and explains that process. Come along for the ride as we discuss this and a whole lot more on the Disney Culture podcast.
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! Wow, what a day it was. D23 hasn't happened yet and it's already a fail! There is a lot of ranting in this episode about D23 and their pre-sales, Halloween and Anthony is with us so there's always something. Michael is back this episode to throw in his two cents about a bunch of things. We talk Disney showers, splash pads, honorary citizens, meeting Pete, and Gina's Eggstravaganza experience with Chip. Come along for the ride as we discuss this and a whole lot more on the Disney Culture podcast.
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! Just when you thought we were going to be away again, BAM! We hit you with a new episode. Anthony has moved to Oregon and is enjoying the snow and ice. Meanwhile, Dan and Gina survive Disney in the rain and it's not like you think. Sometimes you just need a snack. Lunar New Year came and left as quick as the merchandise, but the food was great! Spirit jerseys featuring food are all the rage. Are they though and are they worth the price? Loungeflies, popcorn buckets and chocolate chips cookies and remember if you don't like content that is made by creators, just keep scrolling it wasn't made for you anyway!. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! Can you ever really get rid of us? It's been a while, but the future looks bright for us to continue from here on out. The holiday season is about over at the theme parks and we talk all the Disney we did over the Christmas season, which was a lot including a Festival of Holidays and of course Viva Navidad! Universal's Grinchmas was also visited this season and of course Steamboat Willie is now public domain. Don't forget to check us out on YouTube as Disney Culture, IG as Dandisneyadventures, and TikTok as danszig77. We will make you laugh or at least smile! Come along for the ride as we discuss this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! We are back after an unexpected hiatus because of our personal lives, but here we are to give you a Haunted good time. The Haunted Mansion movie has just come out and we talk about it and all the merch that of course comes with it. Dan goes over what he saw at San Diego Comic-Con, which was much different this year due to the ongoing strikes, but still a lot of fun. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! Dan and Gina were able to get together and ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway this last one and this podcast almost was a runaway as Anthony did not hold back his thoughts on the version of Mickey the ride uses. We discuss the line and how this ride is similar and different than both Rise of the Resistance and Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge that just opened officially at Universal. There is always food involved so Dan breaks down his trip to Cafe Orleans and both he and Gina sampled some of the Lunar New Year food. Hear about Gina's birthday at Carthay, Dan checking out Wondrous Journeys, the display at the Grand Californian and much more including a special appearance by Michael who will even be in the Disney parks soon. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! On this special (I guess) episode of the Disney Culture podcast, it's all Universal. Dan and Anthony were able to go to the passholder preview (was it really a preview though) of Universal's new Super Nintendo World and they give you all their thoughts on the process and the new land. Trust me there is a lot of them. This one needs to explicit warning label on it, especially when it comes to how Universal handles (or doesn't handle) their organization. Catch our unique perspective on this one and as always come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! This time it's heavy on the Universal as we get ready to see the opening of Super (Mario) Nintendo World. Both Anthony and Dan will be checking out the passholder preview at Universal and they discuss their efforts to get that reservation, which was easy for Anthony, but time consuming for Dan. Of course we have some Disney talk as we gear up for the beginning of Disney 100, including already coming up on some of the merch. As usual we cover a lot of other random stuff including the planned Tiana's Palace to replace the French Market. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! Some of the biggest news comes from Universal who is about to open Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios. We discuss what this might mean and why they chose to open it the way they did. Dan had the time of his life being able to visit Club 33 for the first time, he talks a bit about that. Christmas time is still going on at the parks, but the magic really is gone with most magic keys blocked until the new year. Lots of other random stuff from the Muppets Christmas Carol to the Guardians Holiday Special and lots more in between. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! We heard a little bit about some guys named Bob, so of course we talk about that. Unlike one Bob, however, Wakanda is forever and Dan talks about that. You know what we like about the parks? Eating, so Dan is trying a new challenge as far as eating in the parks. Dream Keys went on sale for a few hours and of course Disney+ has a lot of it, though it probably gave one Bob a job and the other Bob lost his because of it. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast, welcome! It's Halloweentime (or the very end of it) so that means Christmas had already started at the parks. This episode we talk about Andor and She-Hulk, which we are still trying to figure out what happened at the end and where this will go from here, but since it's spooky season we also talk about Hocus Pocus, both 1 and 2 and the Sanderson Sisters as well as the brilliant Werewolf by Night. Christmas time has almost started at the parks and the decor and merchandise definitely shows it. Dan talks about being stuck on the bus from Toy Story for an hour along with a guy who took the holiday musk too seriously with his Halloween jacket. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! It's been a while, but we are back. Things just got busy over the summer. There is so much to talk about we barely got to talk about any of it and just went with what was on our minds. We aren't a news site so we don't cover the latest and greatest we talk about our experiences. A little bit of Halloweentime, which started in August, a little D23, because we know you already heard all the announcements, plus just what we have been up to when it comes to the park. Always a fun listen and probably some bad jokes and oh yeah we make fun of so-called influencers. Give it a listen. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Dan is close to ending his quarantine and Gina went solo to the parks, so they talk about recent adventures in the park, Dan before he got sick and Gina fairly recently. They talk about how Universal hosted a passholder party and ponder why everyone doesn't offer mobile ordering. Random tidbits here and there for a bunch of stuff to keep Dan out of boredom. Just some good storytelling here about the Electrical Parade, Oga's, and of course slushies! Give it a listen. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
On this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast, we return (again). Yeah we know we have been absent, but we get busy and someone decided to become a daddy so he's been extra busy. This episode X joins us again, he finally got a day off. This episode we cover Star Wars Celebration and some concerts that we have attended as well as some other random stuff and bad jokes as always. I'm sure we will record a next episode and hopefully we don't take a hiatus like we just did after calling our last episode "Hiatus No More" and then taking another hiatus. Anyway I am just rambling so give it a listen and be entertained by our usual nonsense. All this and much more on this episode of the returning Extraordinary Culture podcast.#exoculture #exocult #extraordinaryculture #extraordinaryculturepodcast #kayfabeculture #podcast #podernfamily #music #movies #sports #craftbeer #beer #iecraftbeer #socalcraftbeerFind the latest episodes of The Extraordinary Culture Podcast on PodOmatic, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify and YouTube. Thanks to our sponsors @crownandstache @made_riverside @orangecircleoptometry email us at exocast@yahoo.com check us out www.extraordinaryculture.weebly.com
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! This episode is all things Star Wars except for that part where we cover the reopening of Fantasmic, but it has Star Wars in the story so it counts. Gina and Dan give their experiences on Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite that happened in conjunction with Star Wars Celebration. Both Gina and Dan attended the Star Wars Nite, but had very different experiences in what they wanted to do that night. Dan attended all four days of Star Wars Celebration and gives all kinds of info on things that went down and there was still plenty he didn't even see. Before all that the two talk the return of Fantasmic which Gina was supposed to go see on a reservation an Dan wasn't, but the roles ended up reversing and Dan saw it on opening day. Plenty of Star Wars and Fantasmic goodness in this one. Give it a listen. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! In this episode we are springing back into things because it has been a while since we have talked. Gina gives a rundown on what the trams are like and we just update everyone on experiences and happenings at the park. From trees at Pirates, hunting eggs at the returning Eggstravaganza, hotel rooms for Star Wars Celebration and some Halcyon talk we just go through a bunch of different topics including what could be Dan's worst experience at the Disney parks. All this and some Turning Red. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! In this episode we talk all the food and by that we mean the tastings from Lunar New Year. There was lots of good stuff, not like the Festival of Holidays. All kinds of things were had and tried and we give a breakdown of what had. Super Bowl fever hit the parks. Gina was there to give us a report of what DCA was like on the day of the Big Game. We talk Harry Potter wands, building lightsabers, and of course the trams returning because did you know the trams are returning? Did we see that more than the mask mandates that just dropped on our social medias? Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
On this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast, don't call it a comeback, but we are back and we talk about why we have been gone for the last couple of months. We say see you later to one, because it's not goodbye, as he's taking care of what he's got to take care of for the time being. Our buddy Vic joins us this month to talk about Tom Brady retiring, the When We Were Young Festival that popped up out of nowhere, bands that are playing it, Operation Ivy's mini reunion, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones breaking up and of course, The Book of Boba Fett, plus a lot more bad jokes and other random stuff. All this and much more on this episode of the returning Extraordinary Culture podcast. #exoculture #exocult #extraordinaryculture #extraordinaryculturepodcast #kayfabeculture #podcast #podernfamily #music #movies #sports #craftbeer #beer #iecraftbeer #socalcraftbeerFind the latest episodes of The Extraordinary Culture Podcast on PodOmatic, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify and YouTube. Thanks to our sponsors @crownandstache @made_riverside @orangecircleoptometry email us at exocast@yahoo.com check us out www.extraordinaryculture.weebly.com
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! We are back in the spirit (jersey) here with the last episode of 2021. It's been a busy month. We talk about The Book of Boba Fett, Hawkeye, and of course Spider-Man No Way Home. We speak of Disney in the rain during the holidays, how Genie+ works, Dan getting in the spirit and going to check out the Candlelight Processional. Where would we be without a rant on Knott's included? There is plenty to keep you entertained before you go back to work. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! We are back and living the Dream (Key). Half of us have managed to make heading to the parks a regular part of our routine again. As such we have had to pay more attention in to what is going on in the parks and trying to experience new things. We take you through a little bit of Christmas on this episode and bring you some Knott's news as well, because why not? Rants galore on this episode as a lot of news has dropped. We had a slight technical issue, but you probably won't even notice, so just enjoy! Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
On this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast we talk why we have been so busy and start to talk about Halloween. Three fourths of the guys talk about What We Do in the Shadows, then switch to What if? In Star Wars news we talk about Visions and the upcoming Book of Boba Fett. Finally on to music. Dan and Rick talk about their experience seeing Rancid and the Dropkick Murphys and the new way we may see concerts. All kinds of great rock music came out in 1991 including Nirvana's Nevermind, and the baby on the cover is now suing the surviving members and the Cobain estate. There's also all kinds of new music we talk about. All this and much more on this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast.
Slowly, most of us are becoming keyholes. We used up the rest of our three day passes and transitioned over quickly to the Magic Key. It's a lot like being an Annual Passholder only different. We discuss the reservation system, how busy the park really is. What we expect out of the paid Christmas nights and a whole lot of other stuff to entertain ourselves and you! Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
On this episode of Kayfabe Culture we break down AEW's All Out PPV 2021. It was the best PPV of 2021 and quite possibly one of the best PPVs of all time. We cover this landmark PPV with all kinds of debuts from top to bottom with all the usual bad jokes and other entertainment. Well, it's been a while. Life has been life and it's been hard to get us in the same (chat) room recently. Then to top it all off we had difficulties with the audio file. Anyway, here's some bullshit and then some Masters of the Universe and Star Wars talk. To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Of course as soon as we put out an episode Disney drops their Magic Key pass plan. The group chat was flowing with all kinds of thoughts and comments so we let it digest and decided to turn on the recorder. We break down our thoughts on the plans, the blackout days, the payment plans, and the brilliance (in Disney's mind) of this plan. And of course, we are in if it means being able to visit the park on a regular basis. Hey Anthony, we still haven't seen Jungle Cruise! Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Dan, Michael and Gina have now made their return to Disneyland with the three day Southern California deal. Dan and Michael even got to hang out together for the first time in over a year. They all have some insight on to what is going on and new at the parks since the shutdown and Dan and Michael were there the first day of the new mandate requiring mask to be worn anytime guests go indoors. There is always some Knott's talk and we talk about some of the newest Disney+ drops including the incredible Behind the Attraction. Anthony talks about Jungle Cruise, apparently he loved it and the Rock. All this plus the usual rants and other stuff. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Michael gives his trip report from before California fully reopened and before Avenger's Campus opened. Is that going to keep us from talking about it though? No, of course not. Plenty of discussion of what Disney is like with some changes and what we have heard about Avenger's Campus. As usual there is some Knott's talk about their food and some of our experiences there, plus the usual rants and other fun stuff. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
It's our reunion show! We are actually all back together for the first (and possibly last) time in person since COVID began. On this episode of the Extraordinary Culture podcast, we talk lots of music, since live shows are coming back in a big way and there has been all kinds of great releases coming out. Star Wars Celebration is also coming back and Dan discusses the hotel room he wants and everyone gives thoughts on the Bad Batch. Xavier reviews Sasquatch which may or may not be about an actual sasquatch. There's more reunions, dark sides, and a whole lot of other nonsense in our reunion special. #exoculture #exocult #extraordinaryculture #extraordinaryculturepodcast #kayfabeculture #podcast #podernfamily #music #movies #sports #craftbeer #beer #iecraftbeer #socalcraftbeer Find the latest episodes of The Extraordinary Culture Podcast on PodOmatic, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify and YouTube. To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Disneyland has reopened! And none of us have been yet, Michael is headed there this week so watch for our next episode when he breaks it down. We do talk about the news there that interests us and Anthony gets mad at a servants' entrance. What we do cover extensively is the reopening of Knott's since three of the four of us are annual passholders (can we say that?) so they cover their experience and we talk about some of the other theme parks in our area. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
Better late than never, but we’re back for another episode. Dan and Crown and Stache discuss his collaboration with the Art of Dedication and the new clothing line. Disney Parks are open and they broke the Internet, Dan S. shares his experiences with the new protocols and changes to attractions. We also talk about Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Batman: The Long Halloween, Mortal Kombat and the release of the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 10th Anniversary Seven Evil Exes Vinyl. Voodoo Glow Skulls will always have a special place in our hearts, just like the Offspring who just released a new album, which we review as well as the newest EP from Authority Zero and we pay our respects to DMX and Shock G. The MLB season is a month old, so we share our thoughts about our teams so far an the movement of the All-Star Game. Have you watched any Triller fights yet? OMG! We also discuss Mongo McMichael and his ALS, the upcoming Dark Side of the Ring season and more. To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! This episode we cover the dates that Disneyland and other parks have given to reopen. We got those and plans for a possible Disney expansion. Downtown Disney has an Eggstravaganza, we review Taste of Boysenberry and the food event at Sea World. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
It’s been ONE YEAR since we’ve been together, but our adventures keep rolling. There was a Big Bang in Ontario, CA and it hit close to home for Xavier, literally! We discuss the severity of the situation and what is going on with the relief. Disneyland and other California theme parks are opening up in April. What are the restrictions and guidelines that are happening in Disneyland? Is there really a NO SCREAMING RULE? We make predictions about how and what might happen during the next year, including predictions on the future of annual passes. Xavier and Rick discuss Coming 2 America and how it pays homage to the original and is targeted for the fans, much like Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. Dan R. then discusses the Justice League Snyder Cut and what some of the differences are compared to the original. But the question is, is it worth it? Wandavision wrapped up and did well. It was great, but it didn’t live up to the expectations? It did give us a taste of what it was like to be left behind during the Blip. It is very different from what we are getting with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The first few episodes are out and again, they provide a fallout from Avengers: Endgame and actually validate Thanos’ work. Comic-Con has released a statement saying they WILL host a convention during Thanksgiving Weekend this year. King of the Hill is more than likely getting a reboot set about 15 years later. We’re excited to see what may come out of this. Is it still something worth watching? Disney did away with a lot of things Star Wars related, but some things are returning to Disney+ like the original Star Wars short with Boba Fett and the first Clone Wars Series. Even the Ewoks movies are returning. Also returning, Amoeba is opening up on April 1. It's going to be crazy trying to get in for a while. It’s always a great place to find something special, but probably not the Misfits original 7 inch that sold for $10K. WWE has “banned” the leg slap, but what other ways do wrestlers make things sound “more painful?” What else might be painful is trying to watch baseball at the stadium. How will the limited seating affect ticket prices? Is it worth it to go this year? McDonald’s released a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, but is it any good? Also, when you are in Alhambra check out Spanglish for some Extraordinary Eats. This episode we cover the blockbuster news that Disneyland (and other theme parks) has been given the clear to open soon, albeit with plenty of restrictions. Disney also decided to touch us, well not us, but some other people who opted to be touched. We talk about some other tastings that are going on as amusements parks look to make some money off their food before reopening. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. See ya real soon!
On this episode of the Extraordinary podcast, Hi-C Orange is back at McDonald’s and so is the Shamrock shake, but Rick still wants his hashbrown container for Han Solo in carbonite. Disneyland sunsetted annual passports, but announced that they will touch us. Kong vs. Godzilla and an updated Mortal Kombat are coming our way shortly, but so is a Danzig vampire movie. Tim Burton will try his hand at directing a series with Wednesday Addams and the original Muppet show appeared on Disney+ with a warning that it’s dated. WandaVision is getting closer to ending and then we immediately get The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. We have to wait a year to see more Mandalorian, but we won’t see Gina Carano at all. The Anti-Virals, who we featured music from last month, released their whole album and Dan talks about it, plus we heard new Offspring music for the first time in nine years. AEW got “Big” this week and the WWE network has an upcoming move to Peacock. It’s 2021 and it has been a crazy beginning of the year, whether it is trying to get a COVID vaccine or surviving one of these crazy Wednesdays this year (insurrection, impeachment or Inauguration). Everything has been about the Bernie Sanders memes and everyone is trying to capitalize on it. Even Bernie Sanders is using it to make money for Meals on Wheels Vermont. Disneyland has sunset the annual pass program. We spend some time giving our take about why, and what is next, including a COVID vaccine site. Some good content has come out recently including Wonder Woman 1984, which Rick discusses and then talks about the documentary, “You Cannot Kill David Arquette.” while Dan and Rick discuss Cobra Kai. The Glass House is turning 25 this year. There are so many great memories and stories to tell. Everything from early shows with the Descendents to the last time we were all together for a wrestling event. New music from Bad Religion, the Descendents, and AFI has dropped and we give our reviews for them and discuss what is up with the NOFX release Linewluem and it’s confusing meta feel. This month’s featured band is The Anti-Virals, whose new album Brainwashed is out now and available wherever you get online music. www.facebook.com/The-Anti-Virals-104414854749296 www.nadinerecordsmedia.com theantivirals@gmail.com IG: theantivirals Find the latest episodes of The Extraordinary Culture Podcast on PodOmatic, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify and YouTube. To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! This episode we cover the sunsetting of Disneyland APs. I've had one for over 20 years, but now we say goodbye and talk about what may be in the future for some kind of annual pass, but I still get my discount until the end of next month with no actual opening date in sight. Vaccines are available at Disneyland, well in the Toy Story parking lot anyway. While this is going on Avengers Campus is still set to open in 2021, I mean they still have another 11 months. We also talk the weirdness that is WandaVision. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. It’s a whole different type of Christmas this year. What changes are you making? What specials are you watching? We discuss some of the good, the bad and the ugly specials out there in streaming land. Speaking of streaming, all Warner Bros. movies will be released streaming in 2020. Does this make you more likely to get another streaming service? What does it mean for the movie theater industry? Did you watch “A Recipe for Seduction”? It’s the bad movie that you didn’t know you needed to see. Fans of movies that make fun of themselves are sure to enjoy it. Disney Dropped a TON of news at their recent Investor's Day meeting. We discuss just a little bit of what is coming up. Whether it be Disney+, Hulu, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars, there is going to be something for everyone to enjoy. This month we spent so much time talking about the goodness that is the Mandalorian that we had to just make it its own episode. So we present a special bonus episode where we break down Season 2 so far. Lots of insight and references to other things in the Star Wars Universe, both canon and legends. Join us in a conversation about the smash hit Disney+ show The Mandalorian. We have spoken!
Happy 3rd Anniversary! We can’t believe it’s already been three years. Now that the election has come and gone, we ask about some of the absurd demands we want from our next president including burritos and X has had some big life changes we discuss and his connection to the recent space launch. Charlie Brown is BACK on TV. Why did he leave in the first place? Wonder Woman 1984 is coming to HBO Max the same day as theaters, Chris Pratt joins the new Thor movie. This leads to a conversation about reimagined albums and what are some of the better ones. The Star Wars Holiday Special was a nightmare, but the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special is NOT. There were some great references from all nine episodes in the Star Wars Saga and a cameo from Grogu himself. There were even some Easter Eggs from Galaxy’s Edge. To all who come to this happy podcast welcome! Welcome to the Disney Culture podcast, yet another podcast on the Extraordinary Culture Podcast Network. With a real love for Disney and especially Disneyland it wasn’t going to take long before we needed to have an extended conversation on what has been going on in the world of Disney. Do we drop news? No, this is more a discussion and reactions to the things that have come out of the Disney camp since the inevitable shutdown. From the California governor taking a strong stand to more layoffs and the opening of Buena Vista Street, to what the parks can pull off for Christmas since an opening isn't likely and we discuss a whole lot of things that Disney has done to keep the interest high and some money rolling in. Just for an added touch we add a review of Disney's neighbor Knott's Berry Farm and their Taste of Fall-O-ween and speculate on what we might see in the holiday version. Come along for the ride as we discuss all this and more on the Disney Culture podcast. Disney is focusing on a stronger content model moving forward, and we wonder how that is going to affect all aspects of Disney releases. What is in store for the Rock’s upcoming bio series? Also a Green Lantern series is coming to HBO Max, and yes, Kilowag is in it. We also give our opinions on streaming services in general. Milo Aukerman from the Descendents has a new EP out where he plays his small uke. How is it? Mad Sin also just released a new album, Dan and Dan share their thoughts. Indie Record Store staple, The Mad Platter has to shut its doors permanently. We share memories of its heydays. It wouldn’t be an Extraordinary Culture Podcast without Star Wars news. We discuss the Mandalorian release schedule, the High Republic comics, the Obi Wan series and why Obi Wan warns Anakin about the high ground. As L.A. area boys, we pay our respects to both the Dodgers and the Laker’s for their postseason accomplishments and to the Raiders for defeating reigning Super Bowl Champs. Will AEW have its own version of the 4 Horsemen? Rick gives his input. All this, plus some laughs, some beers and from “The Vampire’s Point of View.” Music provided by Scotty Saint and the True Believers. #exoculture #exocult #extraordinaryculture #extraordinaryculturepodcast #kayfabeculture #podcast #podernfamily #music #movies #sports #craftbeer #beer #iecraftbeer #socalcraftbeer Find the latest episodes of The Extraordinary Culture Podcast on PodOmatic, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Spotify and YouTube.
