Originally from Charlotte, Tashika is a founding member of the award-winning troupe Cake Walk. In addition to performing, she is the lead coordinator of F.A.M Fest, the first Improv festival dedicated to centering and celebrating Black performers in the DMV, (D.C., Maryland and Virginia) area. Currently, Tashika works as an education consultant with Ubiquitii Educational Solutions, which uses SEL concepts to promote learning in students. In 2022, the Rosine 2.0 Past Visions/Future Archives Micorgrant, and recently an Allens Lane's Rebeccah Milena Maia Blum Curatorial Fellowship. Sabriaya also authored and published Somewhere Between God & Mammy in 2022.
