    107. When Leadership Breaks: Rebuilding After Burnout and Betrayal with guest Adele Wiejaczka

Play Episode Listen Later May 4, 2025 57:16

In this episode I talk to Adele Wiejaczka about her experience at a time in her life when everything she built no longer feelt right. She shares how a business betrayal forced her to reevaluate success which lead to deeper alignment, better boundaries, and a new form of leadership rooted in self-trust, clarity, and nervous system regulation. Introduction Adele is a brand strategist, creative intuitive, and former university professor turned entrepreneur. With over 13 years of experience, she helps soul-led coaches, authors, and creatives build brands rooted in authenticity, emotional intelligence, and aligned leadership. She began her business journey in a dry cabin in remote Alaska, continued it while working remotely from Bali, and now runs a six-figure brand strategy business from a DIY truck camper while exploring the backroads of Colorado. Her work blends brand clarity with energetic alignment—helping entrepreneurs grow without burning out or losing themselves in the process. Adele's leadership philosophy is grounded in self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and honoring diverse ways of thinking, working, and showing up. As someone who's worked with highly sensitive, neurodivergent, and multi-passionate leaders, she knows that the most effective leadership doesn't come from control—it comes from clarity, trust, and grounded presence. She brings a refreshing perspective to conversations around business, mindset, psychological safety, and what it truly means to lead from within.   Resources mentioned in this episode Follow Adele: LinkedIn: HERE Instagram: HERE Facebook: HERE Website: HERE Spirit Brand Quiz: HERE   Thank you for listening. In this episode I talk to Leslie Galloway about cultivating confidence and courage through emotional intelligence (EQ), trust, connection and mental fitness (PQ). Bio: I founded Interleap with the vision to create a place where leaders could find their human side in the midst of their businesses. As Founder and CEO, my mission is to create content and coaching that connects with clients and invites them to explore and grow into their greatest areas of potential. In a world where distractions often lead to unwanted complacency, leaders need this focus now more than ever. My goal is to help them get beyond their limitations and into the possibilities around them that make designing their visions of work, life and businesses a reality.   My success in this space comes from a lifetime of study around human behavior, successfully coaching clients on organizational design and leadership as a partner with Capacity7 and before then, building leadership and team management expertise in upper management and executive roles in the Branding industry. My superpower throughout my career has always been the ability to connect, engage and disrupt for the sake of change and growth. My ability to activate leaders from stuck to making their next leap, is what drives the success of my clients forward. I'm known as the go-to for relationship and team building and for creating impact and results through emotional intelligence (EQ), trust, connection, disruption and mental fitness. I believe the results of performance, success, and fulfillment come down to the people and teams leading them. Fulfilled leaders and teams create amazing things. We need more fulfilled leaders and they need places like Interleap to practice reconnecting with their who, why and what in order to create even bigger results for themselves and their businesses. I have helped thousands of leaders recognize and reframe their growth and possibilities through 1-1, group and team coaching. My coaching sets leaders in motion by helping them reconnect with themselves and their vision for what matters and what's next for them. This connection allows them to become evangelists for whatever movement they want to create a following for, big or small. I get to live it, so I know it's possible. Coaching is an extension of who I am and why I show up in the world. On a personal side, I am wife to Woody and mom to Grace and golden retrievers, Winnie and Birdie. I also have the most outstanding step-kids and spouses and grandkids you could imagine knowing. Non-negotiable 10s in my life are my faith which makes me who I am, family, friends, and the constant act of learning and growing. Add health, wellness and exercise of almost any form to this list. I love a good competition, especially on the tennis court.   Introduction Follow Leslie: Instagram: HERE LinkedIn: HERE Website: HERE   Thank you for listening.
