The final World Tour offering of 2024 sees Markus Schulz return to a city and venue he holds dear to his heart; continuing a tradition of welcoming Canadian Thanksgiving in the afterhours capital of the world, Stereo in Montreal. Throughout the Global DJ Broadcast calendar, Markus Schulz strives to go a step further by creating a selection fo specialist themed concept mixes; reflecting the broad palette of his sound. The newest of the seven themes is dedicated to the high tempo and uplifting feelings of trance, titled as Dream Sequence. Now in its fourth iteration, this particular concept returns to celebrate Thanksgiving and the beginning of the holiday season. Being German born, any show in the country for Markus Schulz feels like a homecoming of sorts. The phrase In Search of Sunrise carries a deep resonance throughout the dance music community, and ever since its debut outing 25 years ago, in 1999, its purpose has been to emotionally inspire. Spearheaded by Tiesto for the first seven editions, and continued by Richard Durand from 8 through 13, the honor was bestowed upon Markus Schulz to be the primary curator of the series from the 14th volume onwards. In September 2024, In Search of Sunrise not only celebrated its 25th anniversary, but also reached its milestone 20th edition. The most expansive volume in the series to date, featuring no less than six DJ mixes; by Markus, Solarstone, Airscape, Super8 & Tab, York and ZOYA. To mark the occasion, Markus wanted to weave something a little extra for company as part of the celebrations, by going through the entire history of the series and highlighting some of the significant pieces that have shaped the various generations of the series. Beginning summer with the emotional journey of the Sunrise Set, the midpoint is traditionally highlighted by our annual Coldharbour Day celebrations. The last weekend of June plays host to one of dance music's most special events, as fans across Europe and the wider world descend upon Zandvoort, the Netherlands, for a special four day long Luminosity Beach Festival. Capturing a magical atmosphere of thousands partying by the beach, it's no wonder it has become one of Markus Schulz's favorite events to play.
