Krl Shelby started his techno adventure in early 2000's, he's present on dj stage for six years now. He has the pleasure to play in almost all well known polish clubs and some of the festivals like Rave Na Pustyni or Sadzimy Techno Las. Now he plays in the formule of DJ and he's also producer. Krl Shelby is inspired mostly by dark, industrial and acid techno but don't get confused when he drops mashed hardgroove, hypnotic, RAW or other bangers like he use to recently play as well. Linus Schubert ist mit nur 15 Jahren Vizeweltmeister bei der Punktlande-Weltmeisterschaft im Gleitschirmfliegen geworden. Was treibt ihn an? +++ Accuracy ist eine Spielart des Gleitschirmfliegens, die in Deutschland und den Alpenländern bisher wenig populär ist. Nach kurzem Flug auf einem zielscheibenartigen Landepunkt so aufzusetzen, dass letztendlich ein einzelner Zentimeter darüber entscheiden kann, wer gewinnt – diese Idee passt scheinbar nicht zu einer Fliegercommunity, die ihre Leistungen normalerweise in Flugstunden und Streckenkilometern misst und vergleicht. Allerdings ist das auch eine kulturelle Frage. In Osteuropa und Asien wird die Kunst des akuraten Landens sehr geschätzt, und es gibt sogar Profi-Piloten, die davon leben können und in ihren jeweiligen Ländern Berühmtheiten der Szene sind. In diesem Punkt könnte jetzt aber auch hierzulande Bewegung in die Sache kommen. Denn Ende Oktober 2023 fand im bulgarischen Sopot die FAI-Weltmeisterschaft in der Disziplin Accuracy statt. Und am Ende stand der junge Deutsche Linus Schubert auf dem Podium – als Vizeweltmeister. Linus ist 15 Jahre alt, steht aber nach etlichen Wettbewerbserfolgen auch in der Accuracy-Weltrangliste derzeit auf Platz 2. Mit ihm als Vorbild für den Fliegernachwuchs, könnte das Ziellanden vielleicht einen Aufschwung erleben. In dieser Folge 121 von Podz-Glidz erzählt Linus Schubert von seiner Passion. Wojny Światowej w Sopocie nie działo się najlepiej, to jednak w trakcie Międzywojnia urósł on do rangi europejskiej światy kurortu, gdzie wypadało bywać. Niestety nic nie trwa wiecznie i "Monte Carlo Północy" wraz z końcem 2. Wojny Światowej przestało istnieć. I własnie okresowi pomiędzy dwiema wojnami oraz tuż po 2. Wojnie poświęcam ten odcinek.Bardzo dziękuję Muzeum Sopotu, Pani Renacie Cieniewicz oraz Sluchaczce Angelice za udostępnie niektórych ze zdjęć wykorzystanych w podcaście. She currently resides in Sopot. She has had a colourful career working with International Diplomats, Financial Services and IFI's, the UK Civil Service and Government. Barbara has been self-employed as an Interculturalist and Coach since 2005 and brings sustainability, inclusiveness and a safe space into her professional role as coach, mentor and supervisor to support her clients through social pressures on decision-making, utilising and developing embodied self-awareness. But more recently due to unexpected events and a few light bulb moments, she decided to let go of her corporate coaching to focus on Trauma Sensitive Coaching. This has been a journey of awakening and enlightenment. During Covid and attending seminars online, she realised she had been living a dysregulated life for more than 20+ years. What Barbara does now is focus on supporting people who want to lead a stress-free life and she has built her new business based on her own experiences and her psychology and coaching-based degrees. Including neuroscience, TSM (Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Well-being - most of which she has studied through the British Psychological Society. TSM was with David Treleaven and she also works with the teaching of Peter Levine (Somatic Coaching). Malbork Castle Museum, Helt fantastiskt ställe där man kan spendera många timmar. Har aldrig sett något liknande. Vi vill rekommendera att man tar en personlig guide då det är otroligt prisvärt och man får så mycket mer än bara ta hörlurar. Mielno en semesterort i nordvästra Polen.   Like most Polish jazz musicians, Zbigniew Namysłowski learned the basics of jazz listening to Willis Conover's “Jazz Hour”. Originally starting his musical career playing piano, cello and trombone, Namysłowski became infatuated with the saxophone after meeting composer Krzysztof Komeda, who happened to be carrying an alto saxophone with him, on a train. During that chance encounter, Namysłowski gave the instrument a try and hasn't stopped playing the saxophone ever since. His original experiments mixing jazz and folk quickly caught people's attention and in 1962, Willis Conover himself invited Namysłowski and his band to the US to play at the Newport Jazz Festival. This incredible opportunity marked the eve of Namysłowski's brilliant international career. Kaum eine Thematik ist komplexer und so gibt es in dieser Sendung einen Einstieg samt zweier Experteninterviews. Doch erst einmal geben Andreas und Philipp den notwendigen Kontext. Sie sprechen dabei vor allem über das berühmte Match zwischen Nikolay Davydenko und Martin Vassallo Arguello vom 2. August 2008 in Sopot. Damals wurden Millionensummen auf eine Niederlage Davydenkos gewettet, selbst als der damalige Top 10 Spieler den ersten Satz gewonnen hatte. Zwar wurden weder Davydenko noch sein argentinischer Gegner jemals verurteilt, trotzdem trat das Match eine Entwicklung los, die zu mehr Aufmerksamkeit im Bereich Wettbetrug im Tennis führte. Über die Jahre gab es dabei immer wieder Ermittlungen, Spieler wurden gesperrt und das Thema verschwand nie komplett aus der Öffentlichkeit, ohne dass jedoch jemals ein ganz großer Name erwischt wurde. Der Sportökonom erklärt wie Wettbetrug abläuft, was unternommen wird, um seine Verbreitung zu unterbinden und wie sich die Thematik in Zukunft entwickeln könnte. Jonny Gray, CEO der TIU, zur Arbeit seiner Unit Das zweite Gespräch ist mit dem neuen CEO der Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) Jonny Gray. Die TIU war als Reaktion auf den Skandal von 2008 gegründet worden und soll bei der Unterbreitung und Aufklärung von Wettbetrug im Tennis helfen. Gray erklärt die Aufgaben seiner Organisation und wo die Reise in Zukunft hingehen soll. Denn eines zeigt sich immer wieder: Um effektiver gegen Betrug vorgehen zu können, müsste es Veränderungen an der Struktur des Tennis geben. Schließlich wird auf den kleineren Touren, dort wo ein Großteil des Betruges stattfindet nur wenig Geld gezahlt. Zeitgleich lässt sich trotzdem auf diese Matches wetten. So lässt sich feststellen, dass es am Ende wohl auch nicht die eine Lösung geben wird, sondern das Thema Wettbetrug den Tennissport weiter begleiten wird.
