Jay began DJing at ripe age of 16 and by 18 he was asked to be resident at Disco Nouveau, a long running underground club night in his hometown of Mullingar. Fast forward a couple of years and he was invited to be resident at Twelfth Planet until he decided to begin his own journey as an independent promoter. With a career spanning well over a deacde Jay has graced some of Irelands most iconic venues such as; Tripod, The Tivoli Theatre, The Twisted Pepper and more. The Twisted Pepper (now Wigwam) has been home to many of Jay's show's and provided cathartic techno experiences for many punters. Since 2013 Mutate Events has been focused on bringing quality techno to Dublin with such artists as; Jeroen Search, Roman Lindau, Lewis Fautzi, Stefan Vincent, Abstract Division, Tensal, Abdulla Rashim, Tripeo, Mama Snake, Volvox, Amotik, Jamaica Suk, Rune Bagge, Héctor Oaks, Silent Servant, UVB, Charlton, RIVET along with many, many more. You get the jist…Jay most definitely knows what he's at. Working alongside and garnering support from some of the longest running nights Ireland has to offer such as Jamie Behan's Bastardo Electrico, Subject, Life Festival & Research, he has given his all to promoting a vibrant underground scene for the capital. He has a bi-weekly radio show on Ireland's number one online radio station, alongside his residents, UNTHINK, Corner, Exit the Void & Niall Cleary on Dublin Digital Radio, where he showcases the best upcoming talent Ireland's techno scene has to offer. This mix offers a slice of what Jay is all about, an ensemble of techno of various sorts rolled into a warped two hour trip. Jay made a point of playing unreleased music from various Irish producers including Aero, Fyun, David O'neil, Offtrack and more. A smooth yet carnivorous trip around Jay's back catalogue leaves the listener on the edge of their seat, unsure of what gnarly turn the mix might take next. Danish DJ and producer Kvadrant living in Copenhagen. Founder of the Kontakt label releasing music in the genres ranging between dubtechno to detroit chords which have been the main drivers for his musical taste over the years. This month on PoleGroup radio we are going to listen to a mix from CONCEPTUAL. He is an Italian artist based in berlin, real name Simone Scardino and also founder of the Friendship Collective, a new project with the aim of promoting different art forms in connection with music in single events. Simone has made this podcast for us trying to travel, towards his musical selection, through all the different facets of his new CONCEPTUAL project. Inspired by high mountain ecosystems and cultural environments and Indigenous musicals, Zemög composes Ambient, Deep Techno and Downtempo taking as a sound source modular synthesis, textures transmitted by natural surfaces and captures of aboriginal instruments and meditation. He started exploring production in 2011 and as a DJ in 2012 with his old project called Tsynth, with which he released two EPs, "White Sand" for "ALSS" and "Woods" for "Tono Limited ”, in addition to some remixes. In 2016 he began to develop his Zemög project and it was until 2019 when he decided Publish your first works. "Vuoto EP" was the first release under the From a label Lost Place and months later "Orinoco EP" published under the Italian seal Ordinamento Selettivo In 2020 with his track "Gudayka" publishes his first vinyl 12 "sharing a Go along with Korridor and Launaea for From a Lost Place. He was part of the Technosis collective for 6 years, had one year residency in the club "Parallel" and another year in the club "HUM" located in the heart of Pereira. Has made “Warm up” for Claudio PRC, Abdulla Rashim, Korridor, SNTS, Hector Oaks and others. He currently resides in Bogotá and is a member and visual artist of the Pereirano collective Matteria dedicated to making events and fostering culture through electronic music. The Alchemical Theory project was born from the creative union of three producers very different from each other but yet very similar. The identity of the project has been influenced by the vision of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic to much more atmospheric sounds. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey. Anthony Linell was formerly known as Abdulla Rashim, the centre piece of a Stockholm techno collective who have been at the sharp end of the scene for the last few years. Mixing up club grooves with exploratory experimental music, the intriguing and mysterious artist runs the Northern Electronics label and, at the same time, put out much of his own music on his Abdulla Rashim Records. A master of atmosphere and hypnotic grooves that cannot fail to suck you in, this year alone has seen him put out two albums and an EP under his real name. The sounds are just as absorbing as always, and mix up dark ambiance with dungeon synth and desolate sonic landscapes. All this carries over into his DJ work, and the mix he has served up for us here is a beautifully bleak and lonely one. Underpinned by slick rubbery drums and detailed with everything from funeral to sci-fi to subliminal synths, it’s an intriguing musical rabbit hole that gets weirder and more unreal the further down it you go.

Ce mercredi 20 mai à 21:00, Tout Foutre On Air vous propose une émission dédiée au tout prochain Weather Paris Festival dont la 3ème édition aura lieu du 4 au 7 juin au coeur du Bois de Vincennes. Le Festival de musique électronique du Grand Paris revient avec une programmation exceptionnelle cette année pour 3 jours de fête en plein air. Au programme : Brice Coudert, co-organisateur et directeur artistique du Weather Paris Festival nous présentera la programmation XXL en quantité et en qualité de cette année autour d'une petite sélection personnelle. Dans le studio également avec nous Antigone et Pit Spector, deux artistes français à l'affiche du festival cette année. Après le Bourget pour le main event de l'an passé, le Weather Festival investit un nouveau lieu atypique pour 2015 : un immense espace de 100,000m2 au cœur du Bois de Vincennes. Du jeudi 4 au samedi 7 juin,  4 scènes représentant les 4 saisons seront proposées aux 50,000 festivaliers attendus sur le site cette année. Au programme, du gros son bien sur, mais aussi une scénographie complète et des décors à la hauteur de la beauté du lieu. Pour venir au main events, ça se passe juste là. Une programmation XXL Le Weather Paris Festival accueillera cette année 130 artistes techno et électro entre pionniers et nouveaux talents. Un line-up qui n'a rien à envier aux plus gros événements internationaux de musique électronique. Parmi les moments marquants de cette édition, on pense bien sur au live du maître de Detroit Derrick May qui pour la première fois en France donnera un concert accompagné d'un orchestre philarmonique le 4 juin. D'autres pointures taille 47 seront là, comme Ben Kloch, notre cher Jeff Mills, Four Tet, Nina Kraviz ou encore Ricardo Villalobos. Une foule d'artistes plus confidentiels mais non moins talentueux ont été conviés à rejoindre ce plateau premium. La programmation complète du Weather Paris Festival est à découvrir juste ici. Une riche semaine de Off, pour se mettre en jambes! Du mercredi 27 mai au 31, le Weather Festival vous propose une série d'événements à travers Paris pour se mettre en condition avant le main events. Une programmation du off très riche entre l'Institut du Monde Arabe, la Gaité Lyrique, plusieurs clubs parisiens et bien évidemment la Concrete, le merveilleux laboratoire de la fête électro créé par les organisateurs du Weather. On a une tendresse particulière pour la Mini Weather, festival de musique électronique dédié aux enfants sur les quais de Seine (gratuit pour les moins des 16 ans le samedi 30 mai). Antigone, album Cantor Dust (Token Records) Antonin Jeanson aka Antigone est un artiste techno français qui en quelques années s'est fait remarquer dans les plus grandes capitales de la techno mondiale. Du Rex au mythique Berghain de Berlin, il a su imposer sa pâte sombre et organique d'une rare élégance. Il sort cette semaine Cantor Dust (Token Records), un album très réussi que l'on découvrira avec lui dans le studio.
