Clentélex is a 23-year-old man from Ivory Coast who has overcome the odds. He grew up in a poor neighbourhood of Abidjan. Noémie Mayaudon and Jean-Charles Guichard bring us his incredible story in this documentary.

This episode, the Watchers in the Fourth Dimension ask themselves “oven mitt or lego hand?” as something is stirring in the ice… in the latest of these seemingly never ending “base under siege” stories, it’s The Ice Warriors! Over the course of our discussion, Reilly discusses the size of the Ice Warriors’ hips and the cold-blooded nature of reptiles, Anthony criticizes the animation style for episodes 3 and 4, Julie praises the costume design in the story, and Don questions the naming of the titular aliens. The entire team discusses the experience of having to work for a bad boss (like Clent) – we’ve all been there! For those of you who want to watch this along with us, this story is available on DVD (with the missing episodes animated) through both Amazon UK and Amazon US. Sadly, this one doesn’t seem to be available for streaming. "I've had enough of experts!" Now there's a phrase with a familiar ring. And Britannicus Base's self-imposed brain drain and dislike of the unlike is sending the UK into chaos. You couldn't make it up. But Brian Hayles did, in 1967's snowy saga The Ice Warriors - a tale of unripe tomatoes, dial-up food machines and a vibro-chair with a shake that brings all the boys to the Medi-Care Centre. The beards are shaggy, the outfits are short and the science is decidedly dodgy. But worse is to come when a bunch of full-bladdered Martians turn up with their own brand of whispering death, provoking a hissy fit of its own from the sacred Computer. The Doctor's opining, Victoria's whining and Jamie's reclining at the hideout of hairy hippies, Wallace and Isa. But can Cleggy save the world without the aid of a motorised bathtub? Will Varga and Zondal end up tying the knot? Can they tie anything with hands like that? And did Jim and Martin find the Ice Warriors refreshingly bracing or did it leave them cold? Listen to find out. Also hear what Jim and Martin think of the BBC audiobooks of The Ice Warriors, The Faceless Ones and Warriors' Gate!
The title, Sweet Afton, comes from Irish poet Robert Browning’s lyrical poem. The theme in the book is how calming the poem is, starting with a man reading it to his wife to ease her pain. This book has nothing but great reviews. It’s the story of a man born with a silver spoon – but raised without a sense of entitlement – and how he almost loses it all, and his journey to keep his family. If you know Georgia, you’ll recognize Tybee Island, Savannah, and other places. Clent – yes, not Clint – Moore always wanted to write an adventure novel, so he did. But it was also therapy for him. Listen to him talk about it.

CLENT MOORE, an author from Georgia called in to discuss his latest release, "Sweet Afton", as is published by Indigo River Publishing. But in a flash, ominous skies overtake the calm seas of his charmed world and threaten to capsize his life. As the uncertainty of John Callaway’s fate unfolds in the wake of shipwreck, he is forced to explore the deepest desires of his heart while racing against time and nature to save not only his own life—but also his family."

I don't think we've ever had anyone on the program who was as totally happy and full of joy as FLW pro Clent Davis was during this interview! Sure, Clent just won the big FLW Forrest Wood Cup and pocketed a check for $300,000 but he tells us he almost gave up tournament fishing over the past winter. He is certainly glad he changed his mind! Clent is in such a great mood that he didn't even get mad when Steve gave him some lyrics to a song he is writing about Clent. If Steve would have sung, that probably would have been a deal breaker! Take a listen to Clent Davis, one of the nicest guys around! Dan Johnston from St. Croix talks about panfish. Who doesn't fish for bluegills, crappies and the like? Dan gives some great tips here. Patrick Neu stops in to give us an update on what is new with the National Professional Anglers Association.
