In diesem seien die „offen Ukraine-feindlichen Positionen“ des US-Entwurfs gestrichen worden.Damit bestätigt Selenskyj, der derzeit in Europa bei seinen Unterstützern um weitere Hilfen und Waffen bittet, dass er nicht an einem baldigen Ende des Krieges interessiert ist. Russland wird einen Plan, in dem seine Forderungen und Interessen – so die nach Anerkennung der nun russischen Gebiete, Verzicht auf die Nato-Mitgliedschaft der Ukraine und deren teilweise Demilitarisierung sowie die Anerkennung der Rechte der russischstämmigen Bevölkerung – nicht berücksichtigt sind, nicht akzeptieren. Schon hat US-Präsident Trump erklärt, er sei unzufrieden mit Selenskyj, weil dieser sich nicht richtig mit dem Plan beschäftigt habe.Der Kiewer Präsidentendarsteller hatte sich zuvor am Montag in London mit seinen europäischen Unterstützern, dem britischen Premierminister Keir Starmer, dem französischen Präsident Emmanuel Macron und dem bundesdeutschen Kanzler Friedrich Merz getroffen, bevor er zu EU und Nato weiterfuhr. In der britischen Hauptstadt wurde ihm erneut alle Unterstützung zugesagt, die er sich wünscht und die ihn glauben lässt, er könne auch ohne die USA weiter gegen Russland kämpfen. Sie hätten Selenskyj „ihre Solidarität mit der Ukraine sowohl gegenüber Russland als auch gegenüber den USA bekräftigt“, meldete erfreut die kriegsgrüne Onlinezeitung taz. „Das Schicksal der Ukraine ist das Schicksal Europas“, hatte Merz auf der Plattform X erklärt und hinzugefügt. „Dies könnte für uns alle eine entscheidende Zeit sein.“Dabei ist nach Ansicht zahlreicher Fachleute aus Militär und Politik der Krieg in der Ukraine längst zugunsten Russlands entschieden. Damit ist auch das Schicksal des Landes besiegelt, dessen Führung einen Stellvertreterkrieg für den Westen gegen Russland führt, den selbst Kriegstreiber Boris Johnson eingestanden hat. Jede Verlängerung des Krieges führt nur zu noch mehr Toten und Verletzten und zu noch mehr territorialen Verlusten für Kiew. Das lässt seine Truppen für etwas kämpfen und sterben, was die Ukraine ganz ohne Krieg hätte behalten können – wenn sich Selenskyj und sein Vorgänger Petro Poroschenko samt ihrer westlichen Unterstützer an die Minsker Vereinbarungen gehalten hätten. Der ehemalige ungarische Botschafter György Varga machte in einem Beitrag für die NachDenkSeiten darauf aufmerksam:„Die EU/NATO unterstützt heute die Ukraine bei der gewaltsamen Rückeroberung von Gebieten, zu deren friedlicher Wiedereingliederung die ukrainische Führung zwischen 2015 und 2022 trotz einstimmiger Resolution des UN-Sicherheitsrats nicht bereit war. Die Minsker Vereinbarungen, die auch vom UN-Sicherheitsrat bestätigt wurden, wurden von der Ukraine nicht umgesetzt, und die separatistischen Gebiete in der Ostukraine wurden nicht friedlich reintegriert.“Es bleibt die Frage, warum europäische Politiker den Krieg fortsetzen wollen, für den sie mitverantwortlich sind, anstatt endlich konstruktive Friedensvorschläge für dessen baldiges Ende vorzulegen. Margaret Atwood regényének színpadi adaptációja a női sorsok, a hűség és az emberi kitartás mélyrétegeibe enged bepillantást, miközben Atwood világát egyszerre jellemzi a költőiség és a nyers őszinteség. Gabriella elárulta, hogy ez a szerep igazi életpróba volt számára. „Meg kellett érni rá, lelkileg és szakmailag is. Szó lesz a blackout pillanatáról, arról, hogyan tudott visszaülni a belső vonatra, és arról is, mit tesz hozzá ehhez a darabhoz a rendező, Balázs Zoltán sajátos színházi nyelve.Az előadásban Varga Gabriella mellett Bajkó Edina és Orbán Nelli remekelnek. No és persze a rendező úr is ott van a háttérben. „Zoli mindig ott van, világít, instruál, figyel. A darab minden alkalommal formálódik, mert a színház élő anyag. A tizedik előadás után mondta először, hogy most már valóban összeállt.”A darab különleges kihívása, hogy a szöveg egyetlen lendületből épül, és a három nő szinte megállás nélkül tartja fenn a feszültséget. Gabriella szerint ez a folyamatos jelenlét a legnagyobb kihívás: „A közönség nem látja, ha hibázunk, de a színész tudja, hogy egyetlen pillanatnyi kiesés is elég, hogy elveszítsd a fonalat. Ez pszichésen óriási koncentrációt igényel.”A műsorból az is kiderül majd, hogy a művésznő ma már szabadúszóként dolgozik. „Soha nem voltam még szabadúszó. A Bárka Színház és a székesfehérvári Vörösmarty Színház társulati tagsága után most először vágtam bele, és bár nehéz, felszabadító is. A biztonsági háló eltűnt, de kinyílt a tér. Rájöttem, hogy magamnak kell felépítenem mindent, amit korábban a színház intézett helyettem. Mégis érzem azt, hogy minden, amit az elmúlt 25 évben megtapasztaltam, most ér össze. Nőként, emberként, színészként.
