Outlets like CNN are reporting on the dozens of States that are preparing to ban chemtrails, geoengineering, or the like, while claiming such things do not exist. While acknowledging “weather modification is a real thing,” along with “solar engineering” and “geoengineering,” they deny “weather manipulation” is real. But in the alternative media are outlets like The People's Voice, reporting on the Chemtrails Task Force / Operation Sky Watch and how “the sun's weaker now,” which as per the former do not exist and as per the latter are a result of solar cycles and subjective opinions. Skywatch, however, is a real program, but from the 1950s, when civilians were asked to watch planes, not for chemtrails, but for air defense. It would seem as if both forms of media are reporting on fiction, changing history, definitions, words, etc. It seems as if while it may be true the U.S. public is finally learning about food, economics, and chemtrails, the narratives have been hijacked. In this episode of The Good Trouble Show with Matt Ford, physicist / electrical engineer Mitch Randall demonstrates a radar system for detecting UAPs / UFOs that can be deployed by the public, bypassing Pentagon classification rules. The tech is called Passive Bistatics and is a distributed UFO detection system with multi-sensor data and provenance. It's designed to distinguish instantaneous acceleration - something humans can't do. This tech will be globally revealed for the first time so anyone can develop the tech. He joined the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in 1989 where he developed airborne, ground-based, and mobile scientific weather research radars. Randall pioneered Software Defined Radio (SDR) techniques and deployed them in NCAR, NASA, and NOAA radars. He developed a software-based Dopplerization technique for incoherent magnetron radars to create the Doppler On Wheels (DOW) tornado-chasing trucks, upon which was formed the Center for Severe Weather Research in Boulder, CO. His technologies became the industry standard for the meteorological weather radar community in the mid 90s. Working for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2010, Randall developed a millimeter wave channel sounder to characterize real-world cell communications, used to develop today's 5G networks. Randall co-founded Binet in the 90s to bring passive radar tech to weather radars. Randall co-founded Advanced Radar Corporation in the 2000's. In 2005 Randall co-founded WildCharge and licensed his wireless charging technology Duracell. This invention was featured in TIME magazine's "Best Inventions of 2007" issue. Randall is a prolific inventor with licensed toys currently on the market. Randall co-founded Ascendant Artificial Intelligence (AAI), a consulting firm developing custom AI and consumer electronics. In 2021 Randall became a Research Team member of Harvard's Galileo Project, where he developed and deployed the proof of concept SkyWatch passive radar. Highlights from the Show Tomer is a computer scientist and physicist by background, and started his work in an elite unit in the Israeli Defense Force's technology unit, and met his cofounder, Ori After completing their service, they wanted to start a new business, and eventually started a drone insurer, SkyWatch, which is the largest drone insurer in North America today, and Voom, a mobility insurer SkyWatch saw success because they built a best-of-breed risk assessment platform, as well as a core system that allowed great flexibility in distribution (including embedded), data and more that they call the Voom Core Voom is focused on mobility insurance, like motorcycle, ride-sharing solutions and other auto and mobility related insurance products The strategy has been to identify a specific category, look at what would be needed to truly delight customers and serve their needs, and try to deliver that, which they've used to go into several spaces beyond their initial drone product One example is how they've address motorcycle coverage Many motorcycles (70%) are occasional-use products, so paying for coverage for regular use seems not to make sense Voom offers the first pay-per-mile motorcycle product, based on sending a photo of your odometer to calculate mileage For traditional insurers to innovate in small segments (relative to their overall scale) is hard because the lift isn't enough for the size of their bottom-line, so customers end up being overlooked and stuck with products and CX that becomes outdated They think of changes in mobility in three ways: New platforms - beyond cars, moving into drones, e-scooters and more Increased connectivity - data connections impacting underwriting, loss prevention and more (like their pay-per-mile motorcycle product) New utilization - changes in ways of using platforms, like ride-sharing changing how cars are used The future of mobility insurance isn't something Tomer claims to know what will happen in the long term, despite all the predictions out there, but he does see some things emerging and some things as technology proof Regardless of autonomy, some people will still want to drive for the pleasure of it, including motorcyclists New ways to use mobility products will keep emerging, and they will require coverage designed for that specific solution, like when Uber or Turo came to be This episode is brought to you by The Future of Insurance book series (future-of-insurance.com) from Bryan Falchuk.
