Richie Carni and Mark Schlereth kick off the third hour looking at the Broncos’ position groups that still need help. Stink has been studying the film on the TE’s in the draft not named Kenyon Sadiq and he picks out his favorite attainable targets for the Broncos. Their belief in the Nuggets as Finals contenders took a big hit after they failed to salt the game away in LA, Richie and Stink break down what went wrong for the Nuggets during crunch time. The guys end the third hour hearing the coach’s explanation for the end-of-game mistakes that led to the Nuggets dropping a crucial game to the LA Lakers.
Hour 1 of The Drive kicks off with Zach and Phil cross talking with Dover and Cecil. The guys discuss who has been the bigger disappointment in Denver sports this season between Cam Johnson and Evan Engram. Zach and Phil react to Bam Adebayo's historic 83-point performance from last night and debate if Bam's night deserves to be ranked above Kobe's 81-point performance. Was the way Bam did it, unethical and a mockery of the sport? Zach shares the stats on potential Brocnos first round pick, Kenyon Sadiq and questions why Sadiq didn't produce more while being considered a top end prospect. We react to the Avalanche loss to the Oilers last night in Ball Arena and share what our biggest takeaways were. Was officiating to blame for the Avs loss? Did the Oilers play better than we expected?
In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil examine the Broncos free agency thus far. With mostly bringing back Broncos from last season, we debate which player needs to step up the most from a season ago? Will Justin Strnad prove he deserves to be a starter? Zach shares the stats on potential Brocnos first round pick, Kenyon Sadiq and questions why Sadiq didn't produce more while being considered a top end prospect. Will Sadiq be able to turn his potential into production in the NFL? We react to the Avalanche loss to the Oilers last night in Ball Arena and share what our biggest takeaways were. We hear from Jared Bednar and his thoughts on the officiating from last night and the controversial goalie interference call. We preview tonight's massive game between the Nuggets and Spurs. Is tonight a must-win game with the Nuggets only a game out of the play-in tournament?
In hour 4 of The Drive, Zach and Phil continue their conversation on the Nuggets and Cam Johnson's lackluster season in Denver. We pivot to the Broncos and their free agency moves this week. With the lack of moves made, we debate if the Broncos need to make a trade to improve their roster. Phil advocates for the Broncos to add Alvin Kamara or Josh Jacobs to the running back room to sure up the room with a veteran behind Dobbins and Harvey. We hear from Sean Payton and his comparison of NFL free agency to a garage sale. Are the Broncos being smart by not paying a premium for a player that wasn't wanted by their former team? Zach shares the stats on potential Brocnos first round pick, Kenyon Sadiq and questions why Sadiq didn't produce more while being considered a top end prospect. Will Sadiq be able to turn his potential into production in the NFL? We wrap up the show with DenverSports.com's Will Petersen joining the show to preview the Nuggets and Spurs game tonight and debate if Cam Johnson will have an impact game.

In this episode of the Hall of Mysteries with the Mahdi Abdullah Hashem Aba al-Sadiq, we explore one of the most misunderstood and controversial questions in religious history: the true nature of authority, deception, and divine will. Drawing from the teachings of Jesus, the prophets of the Old Testament, the story of Eden, and ancient esoteric traditions, this episode challenges long-standing assumptions about good and evil, obedience and rebellion, and the structure of creation itself. By examining the symbolism of the two trees in Paradise, the role of Satan in the divine narrative, and why Jesus spoke — and acted — so differently from those before him, this discussion reveals a hidden layer beneath mainstream religious interpretations. Without reducing God to evil or denying divine sovereignty, the episode uncovers a deeper framework in which deception, free will, and revelation operate on multiple levels. This is not an attack on religion, but an attempt to resolve a contradiction that has divided believers, critics, and Gnostic traditions for centuries.
In this episode of the Hall of Mysteries, the Mahdi Aba al-Sadiq (fhip) guides us into one of the most misunderstood and least explored realities in sacred history: the mystery of life being placed, not taken. Drawing from the deepest layers of Abrahamic scripture, this lecture challenges familiar assumptions about resurrection, breath, and divine action. What does it truly mean for a human being to awaken—not gradually, not metaphorically, but by command? And how does divine authority operate through chosen figures when the boundary between the unseen and the seen is crossed? This episode invites the viewer to suspend inherited images of death, judgment, and power, and instead confront a far more unsettling question: who has the right to place a soul where it did not exist before? Through carefully layered references, symbolic language, and a return to primordial moments of creation, the discussion opens a door into themes of ensoulment, authority, and awakening—without rushing to conclusions. What emerges is not a spectacle, but a framework: one that quietly reframes how life begins, how it returns, and why the present moment may not be as ordinary as it appears.
On this episode of The Hall of Mysteries, Aba al-Sadiq (fhip) gives us the key to understanding the Qur'an, the past, the present, and the future. This episode introduces typology—the divinely intended method for reading the Qur'an through recurring patterns in prophetic history—and explains why God repeats the same stories across the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. From Adam and Noah to Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad ﷺ, history is revealed not as coincidence, but as design. Through this key, long-standing mysteries suddenly make sense: why Al-Khidr lived so long, why the Qur'an speaks without naming names, why figures like Pharaoh and Aaron reappear in every era, and why the Mahdi is never recognized when he first appears. This episode reframes prophecy, revelation, and history itself—showing that the stories of the prophets were preserved not only as records of the past, but as guidance for what is unfolding now and what is yet to come.

In this episode, we dive deep into the film room to break down one of the most electrifying prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class.Sadiq isn't your traditional in-line blocker; he is a modern "move" tight end with the speed of a wide receiver and the frame to punish defensive backs. Southeastern 16's Jay Greeson and Chris Lee preview and predict an outcome on the Indiana-Oregon rematch in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl as part of the 25-26 College Football Playoff semifinals. Topics include: Indiana won the first game, 30-20, and did it on the road. Neither team dominated the offensive stat sheet. The first one was outdoors; this one wil be indoors. Both teams have elite coaches; Dan Lanning spent time at Georgia and has built an elite program in Eugene, while Indiana's Curt Cignetti has engineered a stunning turn-around that's the talk of college football. Indiana had a star-studded cast of all-Americans all over the field. That included Heisman-Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza, left tackle Carter Smith, defensive tackle Tyrique Tucker, defensive end Stephen Daley, linebacker Aiden Fisher, cornerback DeAngelo Ponds and safety Louis Moore. The Hoosiers were also great on special teams. Kicker Nicolas Radicic hasn't missed a kick in college and Indiana also returned a couple of punts for scores. Oregon has stars in its own right. Quarterback Dante Moore is the top NFL prospect in some circles. Tight end Kenyon Sadiq is versatile and perhaps the top NFL prospect at his position. Offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon and Iapani Laloulu were also all-American picks and combined with Sadiq, make Oregon nasty in the trenches. Defensive back Dillon Thineman was also an all-American pick and freshman defensive back Brandon Finney was elite, too. Each team gained 2.5 yards more per play than it gave up. Oregon was great in the turnover battle (forced turnovers on 2.6% of snaps, gave it up at a 1.3% rate) while Indiana (forced them on 3.4% of snaps, gave them up 0.9% of the time) was exceptional. &COLLAR Use promo code SEC16 for 16% off!
Every season leaves clues.About players. About coaches. About the direction of the sport. And about what matters mast when the noise fades and the games are done.As the calendar turns and the postseason lights up, we wanted to pause—just briefly—to recognize four individuals who didn't just post numbers or win games. They embodied the spirit of 2025 here at Y-Option.So welcome to our 2025 Awards show as Jim Thornby and I reveal the Y-Option GO GO GO Awards, presented by our founding sponsor 76®, keeping you on the GO GO GO so you never miss a beat.My 5-Star Quarterback of the YearFernando Mendoza — IndianaThere are recruiting rankings. And then there are journeys.Fernando Mendoza's path—from two-star recruit to Heisman Trophy winner—may be one of the most compelling quarterback stories the sport has ever produced. As a starter, Mendoza had a different offensive coordinator each season with a new systems and new expectations. Yet what never changed was his preparation, inner belief and competitive edge. What stood out all season—and in New York over the weekend—wasn't just the arm talent or the efficiency. It was his awareness. Of moments. Of teammates. Of the responsibility that comes with leading a program that hadn't stood on this stage before. He prepared like a pro long before the hardware arrived. He bet on himself when others didn't. And now there's a new generation of quarterbacks—somewhere in middle school, some headed to Elite 11—who will study him the way he once studied Tom Brady. That's impact.Fernando Mendoza is our 2025 Five-Star Quarterback of the Year.Go Go Gone AwardMakai Lemon — USCThe best receivers don't just get open. They rise.Makai Lemon did exactly that in 2025—turning big moments, tight windows, and constant attention into production and presence. He led all Power Four receivers in yards, earned the Biletnikoff, and became only the second Trojan ever to take home that honor. But what separated him wasn't just what he did—it was how he did it.Humility. Precision. Reliability. When defenses knew the ball was coming his way, he still delivered. When USC needed answers, he provided them. That's why every touch felt dangerous. And why every defense felt pressure.Makai Lemon didn't just stretch the field. He elevated it.He is our 2025 Go Go Gone Award winner.Y-Option: College Football with Yogi Roth is a reader-supported publication. AwardKenyon Sadiq — OregonEvery defensive coordinator asks the same question on Sunday night preparing to face the Ducks:* Where is Kenyon Sadiq on every snap? For Oregon, the answer was clear. He's everywhere.Kenyon Sadiq wasn't just productive. He was positional chaos. Tight end. H-back. Slot. Backfield. Seam. Red zone. Motion. Mismatch.Linebackers couldn't run with him. Defensive backs couldn't handle his size. And when injuries hit the Ducks' receiver room, his impact only grew. But this award has always been about more than stats. It's about presence. Professionalism. And setting the standard.Sadiq followed the blueprint laid down before him—then elevated it. From how he entered practice, to how he prepared, to how he competed.Which is why Kenyon Sadiq is That Dude! for Y-Option in 2025.Headset HeroCurt Cignetti — IndianaGreat coaching isn't loud. It's consistent. What Curt Cignetti has built at Indiana defies modern precedent. 24 wins and 2 losses in two seasons at a program that won 23 games in the previous 5 years combined! IU is a program reborn through evaluation, development, and unwavering standards.I've known about Coach Cignetti for a while and getting to know him it's clear - he leads with independent thoughts, uncommon consistency and elite communication. Those are the pillars of great leadership. And few have embodied them like Coach Cignetti. He didn't chase trends. He didn't lower expectations. He spoke belief into existence—and demanded that others rise to meet it.In a season full of worthy candidates, this one was clear.Curt Cignetti is Y-Option's 2025 Headset Hero, presented by 76.Final WhistleFour awards. Four stories. One shared thread.Preparation. Belief. Standards. Fearless. As the College Football Playoff unfolds and the sport continues to evolve, these are the examples worth holding onto. The ones that remind us why we fell in love with the game in the first place. From all of us at Y-Option, thank you for riding with us through another season and enjoying today's episode around our Awards and the first round of the College Football Playoff. Whether you're here every week or just checking in, we don't take it lightly. We'll keep going. We'll keep asking better questions. And we'll keep celebrating the people and who compete to make those around them better.Much love and stay steady,YogiY-Option: College Football with Yogi Roth is a reader-supported publication. Olu also discusses standout performers who were unlucky to miss out on the final squad and names his Starboy of the Week.He then turns attention to the Super Eagles' training game against Egypt, scheduled for Tuesday, questioning whether the timing is wise from a fitness and recovery standpoint after several players featured in weekend club matches. With stunning lyricism, Somia Sadiq's Gajarah (GFB, 2025) tells the story of a fearless woman torn between two worlds-Pakistan and Canada-whose life is upended by sexual violence. Emahn is big haired, mischievous, and larger than life. Born in the Arabian Gulf, she spends extended summers with her grandparents, aunties, and cousins on the rooftops of Lahore. But tucked away beneath her spirited exterior, Emahn carries the weight of childhood trauma. When she marries and moves to Canada, she quickly learns the art of navigating multiple realities and compartmentalizing memories of the world she left behind, even as she clings to the stories of her home. She is resilient; she is driven; she is unbreakable. Almost. When tragedy strikes, Emahn must draw upon the deepest wells of her ancestral strength to survive, even if it means revisiting her gutting past. Braided together with prose, poetry, and mythical parables, Gajarah confronts the realities of forgiveness and justice, and asks what it means to belong to a land that so forcefully pushes one away.
