Tania does a lot. She was born in Mexico City and raised in the suburbs outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with a joint Bachelor's degree in Romance Studies and Film Production from Harvard University in 2021.Her work in film includes cinematography for the short film "Mangobaby," featured in Southern Fried Queer Pride's inaugural film festival in Atlanta, as well as writing and producing "Dia de los Muertos: A 25-Year Retrospective" for Milagro's Season 38 Day of the Dead Celebration. Most recently, she produced the short film "#LaGaybie," which has been featured in multiple film festivals. She is now a producer on the Houston-based short film "PUNKS."She is an Artist Development Co-Lead for the Undocumented Filmmakers Collective and the host and producer of The Most Interesting People On My Timeline.She was also a 2023 graduate of the No Label Academy music business intensive held at Harvard and a former Story Fellow with the Nuestro South podcast.She explores Latinx cultural history, migration, and internet culture, through various creative mediums. Carrying a Masters degree in puppet arts design alongside credits as a puppet master for National Tour of Broadway’s The Lion King, he has over 25 years experience in the field designing and fabricating hundreds of productions. Jim specializes in producing international festivals, theatrical productions and NOW viral web/mobile content. As Founder of Puppet Network, his puppetry work has been showcased on PBS, MTV Latin America, ABC, Travel Channel, Huffington Post, AP, New York Post and dozens of media outlets in North and South America. At the 2017 Diversity and Explorations Program (DivEx), Davíd Carrasco presents his talk, "Gifts from Mexico: Revitalizing Life Through the Day of the Dead Celebration". He describes one of the gifts from Mexico and Mexican's is the idea of convivencia, which he defines as "living together in order to give life the upper hand over death."
