En esta charla, la gran pintora e historiadora Beatriz González Aranda repasará la estética humboldtiana del paisaje, con un análisis de Humboldt y el paisaje colombiano del siglo XIX, los apuntes del viajero, las versiones elaboradas luego por destacados pintores y grabadores, la presencia de lo pintoresco y del paisaje heroico que Humboldt consideró importantes, más allá de la observación científica. Veremos la influencia de Humboldt entre los pintores, algunos de los cuales recibieron instrucciones directas de él o ilustraron importantes crónicas científicas para los periódicos. Isabel González entrevistan a Nacho Montes por Flores bajo la nieve, novela sobre la amistad y el amor sin límites. Isabel González entrevista al periodista Nacho Montes por el lanzamiento de su nueva novela autobiográfica, Flores bajo la nieve, en la que el periodista habla con la serenidad de quien ha aprendido a mirar atrás sin miedo. "Es casual donde uno nace, la familia que tiene y el momento histórico en el que nace. El trasfondo de esta novela es el de un hombre como yo, que hoy puede gritar y contar su historia con normalidad, pero que cuando nací no solo existía el franquismo, sino también la ley de vagos y maleantes. Yo habría ido a la cárcel o me habrían apaleado en una esquina", relata el periodista. Montes explica que ese contexto marca uno de los pasajes más duros del libro, ambientado muy cerca de donde años después comenzó su carrera periodística, en la sede de Libertad Digital en Conde de Aranda, "cerca de la Puerta de Alcalá, antes de pasar ocho temporadas en la COPE", cuenta en esRadio.El fallecimiento de su madre El escritor recuerda con emoción aquel tiempo compartido en la redacción de Libertad Digital, un piso en Conde de Aranda donde trabajó hasta 2002. "Mi madre murió justo cuando salí de Libertad Digital, en el año 2002. Yo salí en primavera y ella falleció en diciembre, así que fue justo al salir", rememora. "A partir de ahí, aparte del shock que supuso su muerte, empecé a hacer televisión enseguida, primero con Ana Rosa y luego con Cristina en la COPE. Tenía vértigo, pero también ganas de seguir adelante", recuerda.Su nueva novela Sobre su obra, reconoce: "No sé si Flores bajo la nieve es mi mejor libro, pero sé que no voy a escribir algo así nunca más. Aunque está hecho en formato novela, todo lo que cuenta es real: mi familia, yo, mis amigos, mis compañeros de Libertad Digital, de la COPE y de mis programas de televisión. Todo es real, aunque parezca realismo mágico". Montes no esquiva hablar del amor y la memoria. "La única persona que aparece con nombre ficticio es Marius, un hombre con el que mantuve una relación antes de casarme con mi mujer", explica. "Me enamoré de él y también lo cuento en esta novela. No era nada clandestino, porque yo no tenía que esconder nada. Hoy él está casado y tiene dos hijos, y me pidió que no usara su nombre real. Le puse Marius Pontmercy, como en Los Miserables, porque así le llamaba yo en nuestro entorno de amigos de la sierra." En la misma línea, el autor afirma: "Es una novela autobiográfica, una autoficción. Todo es real. No lo he buscado: me ha venido dado por la época en la que viví, la familia que tuve y los amores que encontré".
