Eric Stegemann brings years of experience and expertise to his role as CEO for TRIBUS. Having become a REALTOR before reaching the age of 20, Eric grew passionate about an industry where responsibility and hard work were rewarded. While loving his days selling real estate, he knew there was a larger opportunity to build a technology-oriented brokerage. In 2004, he created River City Real Estate, which quickly became the largest independent brokerage in the St. Louis area. There he oversaw the development of numerous real estate technology breakthroughs that were well ahead of their time. Eric Morris has been teaching his unique acting system in Los Angeles, New York, all over the United States, and around the world for fifty-three years. His approach to acting is to teach actors “how not to act” but to become “professional experiencers” which means that instead of imposing emotional behaviour they must experience in reality what the character is actually experiencing in the material. This is accomplished by using their own life experiences as choices to address and fulfil the life experiences of the character in the piece. His inherent passion for reality and truth has resulted in the development of his system. While his techniques are solidly rooted in the method he has gone far beyond the original precepts of the Stanislavski system and so many of the practitioners of that approach. His work is divided into two areas, the instrument and the craft. The instrument is the actor replete with obstacles, blocks, dependencies, tension and a host of other issues that make him unable to be free to act. Eric has created over three hundred exercises and techniques to address these problems and liberate the actor so that he can be “free to act”. In addition, he has innovated a complete system of craft that addresses and fulfils all the obligations of dramatic material. He likes to say that “the craft leaves no stone unturned”. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in theatre and his acting career spans over sixty years wherein he was able to appear in over fifty Equity plays, twenty major motion pictures, fifty network television shows and running roles in one network television series and one syndicated series where he appeared in thirty-nine episodes. He has written seven books on acting, placing him among the most recognized acting teachers in the world. His books “No Acting Please”, “Being and Doing”, “Irreverent Acting”, “Acting From the Ultimate Consciousness”, “Acting, Imaging and the Unconscious”, “The Diary of a Professional Experiencer” and “Freeing the Actor” are used in hundreds of colleges, universities, and acting schools all over the world. Eric lives with his wife Susana who shares teaching responsibilities with him in their own theatre. They live in Los Angeles and conduct workshops around the country and the world. In Burt's backyard and we talked for a while about barbecue, pits, and got deeply into the subject of welding. We discuss business in the time of the pandemic. It's actually been better now because so many people are cooking at home. Selling a lot of the smaller models. He was born in Michigan and grew up with a woodworking shop at his house. He's always been a woodworker. We talk Lego and hamsters too. He got into welding by necessity. Doing things cheaply because of a lack of funds. This grew into a career because he was hooked. We talk about how FatStack came about and his connection to his business partner Steve Vartazarian(who is also a lawyer and owns The Brothers Sushi in Woodland Hills). They offer a 36” and 48" Backyard 'Octo' Pits, a 90 gallon and 110 gallon for the home AND a 120 gallon tank smoker that is similar to the 500 and 1000 gallon ones. They also offer sizes of 250, 288, 500, 750 and 1000 gallon. A cool option is the Firebox griddle top. Their current lead time is 5-6 months and you can go on their site to buy pits, but the custom ones you must inquire about. It's a sad but true fact that you may just find yourself at the diaper station at a fast food joint, changing your own diapers in between working the fries station. At a break-neck pace, Americans are working well into their golden years at menial jobs just to put junk food on the table. Do you think you can reverse your fortune? Like that diaper station. Depends. Will you start educating yourself on stocks and 401K plans? Will you start saving now instead of blowing your paycheck on yeezys at the Fly Club? On this episode of Tip Not Included, Host Eric Levine is joined in the studio by Vinay Singh, a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist and Author. His book, "Your Future in Pieces - The Brutal Truth: How Ageism And Income Inequality Are Destroying America" is essential reading for understanding the sad truth what ordinary folks are financially facing. Listen to the episode and understand what you can do now to avoid worrying later where to store your walker in the break room at Wendy's. Email Eric at: eric@tipnotincluded.com.
Oh, so you wear maxi pads you say? Never mind, the Tampon Police don't discriminate. Girlfriend, they're out for blood. Your blood. And believe it or not, this rubber-gloved mob are the same ones hiring you for your waitressing and sales associate gigs. They know your menstrual cycle. They may even know when you're pregnant before you do. Or at least, they'll know you're pregnant the moment you walk in the door when you're not yet showing. Surveillance is everywhere. Apps and algorithms are everywhere. This means future and current employers can track your every move. And they do. On the job, hotels for example, track housekeepers through apps to control work flow which lets them know which rooms they've cleaned and how fast they've cleaned them. Too much time may mean nosing in guest luggage. Off the job, they know where you eat and where you hang out. Why would they want you on their health plan if you're always eating at McDonald's and spending too much time in a seedy part of town enjoying some risky behavior? Oh, they know. On this episode of Tip Not Included, Host Eric Levine explores the scary ways employers can keep track of employees (on and off the job) and the consequences it has for workers who are being coded into a corner. Plus, Eric shares 10 fascinating facts about American workers today. Know who can't afford to retire? Eric shares that and more. Email Eric at: eric@tipnotincluded.com

If you say you'd rather eat fish at that chi-chi restaurant that charges for ice cubes, you may want to think twice about your dining choices. While your patronage there may bring you bragging rights, it also may make you sick. A safer option just might be Red Lobster since they're the world's biggest purchaser of fish -- so you know what you're eating is always fresh. This is just one of the golden nuggets that Host Eric Levine along with his guest, famed Attorney Peter Fields, lop out on the latest episode of Tip Not Included. The pair also question why middle class white women don't tip on wine, why for bigger tips it helps for female servers to touch the shoulders of middle aged men, and, in this overly litigious society how every simple dishwasher who gets fired seems to have an attorney in his back pocket ready to sue! Plus, Eric & Peter fling open the door on some of the most preposterous restaurant lawsuits, including the one where one disgruntled gentleman sued the fine dining pizzeria known as Papa John's for texting him too much, and the customer who sued Popeyes for giving him a spork instead of a knife. And then there was Subway who got sued for coming up short on its foot long. Hey, a porn star doesn't even get that much scrutiny! For a conversation about as jaw dropping as R. Kelly's interview with Gayle King, this is one episode you won't want to miss! Email Eric at: eric@tipnotincluded.com
