This episode is a doozy! What a way to end a wild year, with a wild episode with Olivia’s friend Reality Steve. Steve talks about what spoiling The Bachelorette and The Bachelor has been like during the COVID-19 pandemic and they touch on a few of his biggest moments from 2020, like owning up to reporting mistakes on behalf of Jenna Cooper, a highly-talked about podcast episode with Nick Viall, and his regrets about bringing Colton Underwood on his podcast. And then where it goes haywire…him bringing on Tayshia’s ex-husband to talk about her claims of infidelity, which is where Olivia kinda ain't having it. Learn more about your ad choices. Today I’m chatting with autism mom, Jenna Cooper, all about her adorable son Owen. This was a really fun episode for me because Jenna has been a long time listener & supporter of the podcast, so I was thrilled to bring her on the show and hear her story! Jenna is a mom of 5 (!) and Owen is her youngest. She talks about the “learning curve” of autism, especially after having four typical children. We also discuss the dynamics of their family and how autism has affected them. I really appreciated Jenna’s perspective on how she feels Owen having autism has truly been a good thing for his siblings, because it’s given them a deeper understanding & compassion for others. She also explains how they’ve navigated autism together and have figured out what works for their family. We had such a great conversation and I hope you enjoy listening! The priest who wasn't baptized...
We hadn’t heard from Jenna Cooper of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise until just recently, and now she’s recording with Olivia and explaining why she stayed silent about her broken engagement to Jordan Kimball and the sugar daddy story posted by Reality Steve that upended her life. She’s sharing her side of the story, what evidence she found that cleared her of the mess, and what she expected when she interviewed with Reality Steve recently. Plus, her excitement for motherhood and updates about her pet pig!
Welcome to Episode 43 of A Beautiful Podcast to Fall in Love, TV Guide's unofficial Bachelor Nation show. Former The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise cast member Jacqueline Trumbull and TV Guide Reviews & Recommendations Editor Liam Mathews recap the Episode 2 of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart. This week they're joined by Jacqueline's friend and cast mate Jenna Cooper, who last week was vindicated from false reports of infidelity that ended her relationship with Jordan Kimball in 2018. Jenna talks in even more depth than she did on Reality Steve's podcast about how bizarre the trolling that destroyed her reputation was, and what she knows about the people behind it. She has an idea for a movie based on her experience, because the story took so many all the twists and turns -- and it has a happy ending, because she's cleared her name and can move on with her life, just in time for her baby (she's due in five weeks). Other topics include Jacqueline's role in helping Jenna, how Jenna still hasn't heard from her ex Jordan, who turned on her when she needed his support the most, and her remarkably positive attitude about the whole ordeal. Oh, and they talk about Episode 2 of Listen to Your Heart, too. One of the sweetest gals to come out of Bachelor Nation, Annaliese Puccini, is here to chat with Olivia about her totally real fears of dogs and bumper cars and she’s getting in depth about her relationships from this past season of Bachelor in Paradise, including the romance with Kamil Micalek that he chose to end on-air on the reunion show. The Ringer’s Juliet Litman talks with Liz Kelly about all of the news that’s happened in Bachelor Nation since the season finale of ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ including a pregnancy update from Bekah Martinez (2:16), JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers’s new show on Kin (8:13), and Jenna Cooper and Reality Steve’s legal battle (15:37).
Jordana and Aleen are back. They start off talking about Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin who are apparently married now? At 2:40 Jordana explains that she doesn’t think Justin and Hailey should be getting married because their love languages don’t line up. They agree that marrying someone that you’ve been dating for less than 2 years is not the best idea since you never really get to know who that person is in important situations. At 7:50 they talk about the drama unfolding in the “Bachelor” world with Jenna Cooper still receiving backlash for the Reality Steve scandal and Becca M’s surprise pregnancy. At 18:00 a listener writes in asking if it’s morally wrong to quit her job before a holiday break to make extra money on her way out. At 25:20 a listener writes in wondering how to re-kindle friendships after exiting a toxic relationship. At 30:10 they play some games including “Would You Rather”: Have your mom be Becca M. or Kylie Jenner? Have your parents be Pete and Ariana or Justin and Hailey? Thanks to our sponsor, Talk Space.
