It's an Emmajority Report Thursday On today's program: Trump suspends tariffs on imported beef from South America at a devastating cost to American ranchers. According to the Wall Street Journal, the plan to flood the markets with foreign beef was influenced by a Brazilian billionaire, Joesely Bautista. Cattle producer Jim Hertzog speaks to Farm Journal to express his outrage over Trump policies punishing American farmers and ranchers. Donald Trump tries his best to promote Ken Paxton but cannot stop himself from repeatedly commenting on Ken Paxton's fashion choices and how bad he is in interviews. Maria Bartiromo has been abruptly fired from Fox Business as explained in a very terse press statement from FB. Jeanine Pirro is trying to be a MAHA influencer, posting a scary clip of her using a Smith Machine Joe Rogan sounds like a beauty pageant contestant as he asks his audience to imagine how much safer the world would be if no one was starving. James Talarico wishes the government would go after pedophiles in the way they go after brown men on their way to work at 6am. Jesse Watters fumbles through a racist segment about James Talarico and Jasmine Crockett. All that and more. How much would it take for you to go on Fox News and tell lie after lie day after day? We'll take a look at some surprising salaries. Sometimes when the lies get exposed to people that swallowed them whole, it can be very surprising. It appears Joe Rogan has had a bit of an awakening. President Trump wants the Navy to go back in time, ditching key technology aboard aircraft carriers in favor of older less efficient equipment. The changeover will cost big bucks. We'll look at the biggest stories of the week with political analysts Michael Shure and Mo Kelly. A little Friday levity comes in the form of Friday Fabulous Florida and the Culture Blaster, Michael Snyder, will stop by to talk movies. Happy Friday y'all!

It's Monday, August 10th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese armed executed pastor and 6 others extrajudicially A pastor in Sudan's Nuba Mountains was executed extrajudicially, along with six other people, after members of an armed faction arrested him at his church residence in the town of Heban, reports The Christian Post. The Rev. Adil Jangoul, of the Sudanese Episcopal Church, was detained on July 23 inside the church compound in Heban's Erie neighborhood, where he lived, reports Christian Solidarity Worldwide. Members of the Sudanese People's Liberation Movement-North, an armed group in the region, seized his money and arrested him without incident. However, his body was later found on a road alongside those of six other people, all from the Otoro ethnic group, most of whom are Christian. All seven had been killed in extrajudicial executions. Christian Solidarity Worldwide President Mervyn Thomas said he was deeply troubled by the rising bloodshed, some of it apparently ethnically motivated. He called the killings especially perplexing because the Nuba Mountains had long been a place of peaceful co-existence, even through Sudan's dictatorship and the civil war. Send a polite, 3-sentence note to the Sudanese Ambassador to America, Mohamed Idris, asking that their government do more to protect the Sudanese Christians. Send it to: 2210 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008 or email: consular@sudanembassy.org. James 4:17 says, “So whoever knows the right thing to do, and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” Senate Confirms Todd Blanche as Attorney General President Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, Todd Blanche, was confirmed in a late night vote in the Senate after a handful of fellow Republicans reconsidered their opposition, reports The Epoch Times. Blanche was confirmed in a 50–49 vote in the early hours of August 8th, with Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska voting in opposition. The deciding vote was cast by GOP Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who announced on Friday that he believed Blanche was the best option that Trump would put forward. GOP Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky did not vote because he is still recuperating from an illness. Fauci subpoenaed by 3 GOP AGs for profiting from COVID guidance Following two disastrous U.S. Senate hearings in as many weeks and publication of his personal diary, Dr. Anthony Fauci has now been subpoenaed by three Republican state attorneys general seeking to determine whether he personally profited from guidance he issued during the COVID-19 pandemic, reports LifeSiteNews.com. While President Joe Biden gave the COVID kahuna a blanket pardon stretching from 2014 to the final day of his presidency, that pardon protects Fauci only from federal prosecution, leaving him exposed to potential legal actions from the states. Last Wednesday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that his state has teamed up with West Virginia and Louisiana to investigate “awards, professional opportunities, financial incentives, grants, and COVID-19 guidance that impacted Florida businesses and consumers.” Uthmeier said that Fauci's diaries “detail substantial awards” connected to the Sunshine State, including a $900,000 Dan David Foundation prize. The Florida Attorney General also cited other troubling ways Fauci may have personally profited from his handling of COVID, such as “offers of named professorships and book deals, board positions, private foundation partnerships, and other professional and financial opportunities concurrent with his federal role and public recommendations impacting Florida.” The once self-proclaimed “most famous scientist in the world” who obtained secular sainthood status during the pandemic has faced a sudden reversal of fortune this summer. In the words of Victor Davis Hanson, “The Fauci files reveal not just a sociopathic narcissist but also a pathological schizophrenic.” And Fox News host Laura Ingraham alleged that during his time as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 1984 to 2022, Fauci was “a liar, a megalomaniac, a phony, and a total narcissist all rolled into one.” Senator Fetterman takes issue with anti-Israel Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Appearing on CNN, Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, one of the few Democrats who supports Israel, took issue with Abdul El-Sayed, the newly selected Muslim Democratic nominee to the U.S. Senate from Michigan. Listen. FETTERMAN: “I can't come together with someone if you are willing to embrace people that that loves Hamas or that thinks America deserved 9/11. I think that's reasonable. I think that's the reasonable view. That's not a big tent situation. There are things that are unacceptable to have these views as a Democrat, I think.” Inspiring CEO gives company to charity after working 58 years And finally, Grady-White Boats market their 18 to 45-foot-long vessels as the “finest boats ever crafted” which is quite the statement. For 58 years, Eddie Smith Jr., Grady-White's ex-CEO, worked 80-100 hour workweeks to salvage the near-bankrupt boat builder and turn it into a 9-figure revenue generator that will now power philanthropy in perpetuity, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. That's because Smith turned down multiple offers around half a billion dollars in order to pass controlling stakes in Grady-White Boats to a “purpose trust” that will operate it according to his values and convert its bottom line into community service, conservation, and other philanthropic causes. Profiled by Fortune Magazine, Smith said he was inspired by entrepreneurs like Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, who also turned the brand into a financial engine for conservation. He said, “I just think that those of us that are fortunate enough to be in a position to help others…It's really a gift to me to be able to do what I do.” Born to a father who was orphaned at age 10 during the Great Depression, Smith Jr. grew up near the poverty line. The first break was when his father worked enough odd jobs to start a mail order business. The son, who remembers eating SPAM 3 times a week, then lied about his age to get a job on a paper route, before becoming the first in his family to graduate from college at the University of North Carolina in 1965. Finding Grady-White Boats in a near-bankrupt state, Smith Jr., who described himself as having an “entrepreneurial itch” to prove himself, borrowed some money and took over the business, forsaking golf, his favorite pastime, for over 30 years. Today, revenues average over $100 million per year. When he was given an award known as the Order of the Tar Heel, the highest honor in North Carolina by the state's Labor Commissioner, Eddie Smith was characteristically humble. Listen. SMITH: “Any honor that I am fortunate enough to receive, I receive on behalf of all these wonderful people. You're looking out right there at some of the best craftsmen and most dedicated workers, not only in North Carolina, but I would say in the world. Any accolades that come my way come my way because of them and what they've accomplished here at Grady White.” 1 Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, August 10th, in the year of our Lord 2026. SEASON 5 EPISODE 1: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: Hey look, we're back. A special edition to test new equipment (both internal and mechanical), and to talk about the amazing reality that Trump has lost his war in Iran, and the only result he got has just been made permanent as Iran made a deal not with him, but with Oman, to institutionalize the Strait of Hormuz tolls. He is literally the first U.S. President to lose a war. So much winning! Plus the latest media fails (New York Times platforms that idiot David Ellison, who has been silenced by the liberal media that is owned by conservatives; more Maggie Haberman), new Michigan senatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed comes out throwing figurative punches at MAGA, and the bigger picture on the through lines back of Trump's Iran Forever War: burying Epstein, monetizing war for the Trump Mafia, and trying to make you afraid that gas will cost an extra buck rather than afraid your descendants will be smothered by gas's destruction of the atmosphere. B-Block (50:00) SPORTSBALLCENTER TONIGHT: Did you notice baseball's celebration of its "Trade Deadline" this week? This is a relatively new phenomenon. Through most of its history baseball has tried to legislate AGAINST powerful well-heeled teams from monopolizing all the talent. In fact there was once a rule against making a trade with a defending champion! And, maybe you heard I'm selling one of my rare Honus Wagner baseball cards. The idea that the card was damaged (the background to the player's portrait was cut away, probably in 1909) and I had it restored by a master conservator, has kind of gotten warped in the hype about the auction. The point is: restoration - illicit, secret, designed to mislead and deceive - has been around for three decades and I had this already-altered card re-altered was and is an attempt to make restoration above board. C-Block (1:23:14) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Well my old pal Laura Ingraham was back in the news and I'm afraid Dr. Fauci was subjected to a real-time version of one of my recurring nightmares: I'm somewhere public, trying to deal with a crisis, and I can tell somebody is sitting behind me gesticulating and contorting their visage - and it's LAURA. Or you can title this "The many faces of Laura Ingraham."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Most of the folks at Fox News last week looked like they would rather endure a drug-free root canal performed by a trained chimpanzee than talk about Trump's disastrous war in Iran. The conflict that was supposed to be over in a matter of weeks has dragged on for months with no real end in sight.More American troops have paid the ultimate sacrifice as Iran managed to strike U.S. a military base in Jordan. As soon as the first retaliatory strike was launched at an Iranian target gas prices spiked. As the midterm elections loom Trump is dropping like a stone in the polls. Most of the president's campaign promises have not materialized as grocery prices remain stubbornly high, mortgage rates have spiked, Black and Latino unemployment are higher now than when Trump started his second term, the national debt has increasedand residential electricity rates have gone up in nearly every state. The war in the Middle East will only make everything worse for Trump as it has caused an increase in the price of petroleum-based fuels along with fertilizer. His plan to add additional tariffs to nearly every country on planet earth won't ease the affordability crisis. The president continues to boast to the American public about a booming stock market, but the average citizen won't touch most of their investments until retirement. The gains they might see in their 401(k) plans, IRAs or stock portfolios are just Monopoly money until they sell.Trump is slowly sinking a ship he managed to pull out of the depths of his party's losses in 2020 and the riot on January 6th.Last week Fox News hosts openly called the war unpopular and questioned how the so called decimated Iranian military was able to strike U.S. targets. Jesse Watters was the only Fox News hosts who has not lost faith. Even Sean Hannity couldn't muster much enthusiasm for the conflict.Producers at The Five decided the war wasn't even worth covering so it wasn't mentioned for most of the week. Laura Ingraham spent more time discussing the woke leadership at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. The network put far more focus on trashing Democrats last week than covering a regional Middle East conflict that could spiral out of control at any moment. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit decodingfoxnews.substack.com/subscribe
It's a very casual Friday today on The Majority Report On today's program: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says she is not worried about this supposed "slippery slope" from socialism to communism, citing how we can't even get Congress to raise the minimum wage. Laura Ingraham lusts for AOC on Fox News, describing her as a "an attractive millennial with...raven hair and red lipstick". Mediaite posts a New York Post article from 1999 reporting a tongue-in-cheek story on Lindsey Graham and Laura Ingraham allegedly dating. Krystal Ball, co-host of Breaking Points and Krystal, Kyle and Friends, joins the program to recap the week's news. In the Fun Half: Elon Musk is interviewed by the Economist, and he folds like a cheap suit. Musk, the trillionaire, accuses the interviewer of living in a cloistered existence. Dave Rubin has a manic meltdown over Jon Stewart's interview with Zohran Mamdani in a rant that devolves into Rubin hurling antisemitic slurs at Stewart. Ronald Reagan said it best: One of the greatest sources of America's greatness are the people drawn to the country from every corner of the globe, who become American and keep the country young, vital, and modern. But Trump and Stephen Miller are sticking to their absolutist deportation plan without regard to history or its political cost. Hour 4 of the Marc Cox Morning Show brings the heat all the way to the final bell. Marc opens with Tucker Carlson's complete Republican meltdown and a city-by-city tour of socialist decline — with St. Louis earning a mention on Laura Ingraham's show for all the wrong reasons. A Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang driver responsible for a deadly Chicago house party shooting was never supposed to be on American soil. University of Minnesota law professor Ilan Wurman joins to deliver a stunning verdict on how far America has strayed from the Constitution the Founders actually wrote — from New Deal power grabs to district judges acting as an unchecked council of revision the Framers explicitly rejected. Ryan Wiggins brings hard data showing Democrats hemorrhaging voters in every swing district that matters, exposes the 2020 census miscounting that handed Democrats up to six stolen House seats, and dismantles the left's racist Electoral College argument for exactly what it is — desperation. Then the show closes with a one-two-three punch of bombshells: $200 million laundered from USAID into Biden's campaign, Fauci back in Rand Paul's crosshairs, and Chuck Schumer accidentally admitting 25 million people on Democrat voter rolls may not be legal citizens. This is the Marc Cox Morning Show — and today's show was one for the books. The Fox News propaganda machine normally promotes the same triumphant rhetoric for its glorious leader. The network portrays President Donald J. Trump as a master negotiator, a maverick and an unconventional leader who is changing the world through his unique personality and force of will. All of Trump's flaws are excused as part of his genius. His many deficiencies are completely ignored. The network also pretends that he is incredibly popular with the American people.Last week for a moment in time the network's enthusiasm for Trump started to wane. Laura Ingraham couldn't hold her frustration in any more after weeks of avoiding the conflict in Iran.Sean Hannity mostly sat back and let his guests talk about the conflict rather than share his own opinion. The folks on The Five appeared annoyed that they weren't talking about Jill Biden, Rosie O'Donnell or a transgender athlete. The cast of Fox & Friends continued to express their doubts and slight misgivings about the conflict as they have since the first missile strike in late February. The outlier last week was Jesse Watters a man who will justify anything Trump says or does and then completely forget he did so the next day.Fox News also continued to attack Democratic candidates in multiple races across the country. I've included a chart at the end of the newsletter that shows how much airtime the network spent on each race. This week's newsletter will be solely dedicated to how the network handled the dramatic shifts last week in the Iran War. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit decodingfoxnews.substack.com/subscribe
SHOW NOTES: Long ago the Canadian sociologist and business expert, Marshall McLuhan, talked about the "mixed media affect," meaning that experts in one area often migrated to other areas where they are not expert. So you had athletes, entertainers, artists, actors, and random "celebrities" pontificating in fields where they are not expert at all. Barbra Streisand was representative of this phenomenon, with continual political commentary on her web site, at concerts, and in guest appearances. I was in attendance once in Boston Garden, where, in addition to her song lyrics (she couldn't remember them) on the Jumbotron hanging from the roof, was her political "patter" and jibes at the Bushes. (This prompted Laura Ingraham's book, Shut Up and Sing.) At the recent Tony Awards, always great because these are stage actors who don't expect teleprompters and second "takes," a surprise winner for featured actor was Ali Louis Bourzgui for "Lost Boys." He pulled a couple of sheets from his jacket and condemned fascism, racism, misogyny, colonialism, stolen lands, and it seemed also mosquitos and loud noises. It never ended. Fortunately, it was the exception on a stage where the mixed media affect used to predominate. Moreover, no one seems to care anymore. The group on The View, a notoriously liberal and polarizing television cast, embraced Kamala Harris physically and intellectually when she visited them while running for president. And look what happened to her. So ignore the otherwise notable figures who are stepping out of their field of expertise and/or talent. They're just richer, they ain't smarter.
Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about Donald Trump humiliating CNN's Kaitlan Collins and exposing her conservative Fox News past in front of her peers in the White House Press Corp after she pushed Trump on the current status of the Anti-Weaponization fund; Fox News' Laura Ingraham demanding a federal investigation into California elections after Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton's status remains undecided due to a large numbers of votes remaining to be counted despite the election being days ago; "The View's" Sunny Hostin looking like a hypocrite after revealing that she has changed her mind on whether she would vote for Graham Platner in Maine to oust Susan Collins; Democrat John Fetterman abandoning Democrat talking points and denouncing Graham Platner for his mounting scandals including his Nazi tattoo and now his use of the Kik app; CNN's Harry Enten sharing new polling data that should scare Democrats who think that Graham Platner can defeat Susan Collins in Maine to give Democrats control of the Senate; and much more. Dave also hosts a special "ask me anything" question-and-answer session on a wide range of topics, answering questions from the Rubin Report Locals community. Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about Spencer Pratt's campaign to become LA Mayor gaining momentum after Elon Musk retweeted and confirmed his exposing of how Karen Bass and Democrat-run NGOs exploit the homeless crisis in LA; Gad Saad surprising Joe Rogan with how suicidal empathy really works in humans and in the animal kingdom; Donald Trump's reaction to Stephen Colbert's horribly unfunny ending sketch with Jon Stewart on the final episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert"; Dan Bongino explaining to Fox News' Laura Ingraham how desperate the Democratic Party has gotten in trying to regain voters from the middle class; Bill Maher explainging to "Club Random" guest Paul Anka why he supports the Iran War and the most likely outcome for how Donald Trump will end it; Newsmax' Rob Finnerty humiliating the Democratic Party for their horrible attempt to politicize Memorial Day to attack Donald Trump; and much more. We start the show today with the latest lunacy of the Democrat Party: their "autopsy" of the loss in the 2024 election. I don't think the party deliberately allowed that analysis to reach the national media. You'll get a kick out of hearing it.Guess which Democrat is getting the most attention right now: Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D-PA). He seems to be becoming a little more "conservative" on political matters each day. His doing so is rocking the Left. We detail this transition in detail. You'll hear directly from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) during the show as she "peeks" at the possibility of running for president. In doing so, she showed a clear lack of knowledge about the election structure.Laura Ingraham of FOX News weighs in with her consensus on what is happening in the Democrat Party, painting a picture of a huge loss in the midterms!

SEASON 4 EPISODE 81: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (3:00) SPECIAL COMMENT: "Donald Trump Is Losing His Mind." It's the headline on a column in perhaps the most prominent MAGA magazine headline. It's not me saying it this time. Not Jimmy Kimmel. Not George Conway. Not a psychiatrist. The Washington Examiner: “Donald Trump Is Losing His Mind.” Why? Just because he’s also losing IRAN? Just because he’s COMPARING Iran to Vietnam (which he dodged)? Just because he threatened to go General Sherman on Teheran? Just because he's just announced you are no longer ALLOWED to CRITICIZE him ABOUT Iran? “Donald Trump Is Losing His Mind” writes The Washington Examiner - guess that makes it unanimous (and there is now polling on this!) ALSO: House Democrats want Kash Patel to take an alcoholism screening test. His choices amount to: a) ARE you an alcoholic? b) Are you so FULL of alcohol you’re at risk of bursting into flames, or c) are you J. Edgar Boozer. AND about the White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday. The Correspondents Association is obeying in advance to Trump, calling him an "honoree" and welcoming his rats like Brendan Carr and Stephen Miller. If you’re attending this dinner, and you are not planning to storm out or otherwise using this rare opportunity to protest Trump’s presence, you’re not only a traitor to JOURNALISM, you’re a traitor to America. B-Block (36:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Trump's "National Garden Of Heroes" with 250 statues of everybody from Elvis to Whittaker Chambers is dumb enough. What happens when they forget to order the statues? Interior Secretary Burgum wants Theodore Roosevelt in the pro football Hall of Fame even though there wasn't pro football while T.R. was alive. And new Congressman Clay Fuller says he was only joking when he said Georgia was named after George Washington. C-Block (45:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Talking about dinner in DC Saturday (The White House Correspondents) led me to mention my disastrous dates last century with Laura Ingraham on social media and there was considerable disbelief so it's time to tell that story. President Trump endorsed Mike Lawler for re-election, so why would the New York congressman betray Trump by co-sponsoring the "Dignity Act?" In an epic performance, Laura Ingraham asks the questions Americans want answered and uncovers Lawler sees no problem granting legal status to 17 million illegals. Republican Rep Maria Salazar is made to look even MORE unserious when she's grilled about the infeasibility of processing 30,000 illegals a day. Is this the best the GOP can do?
During his appearance on The Ingraham Angle on April 8, 2026, Representative Mike Lawler (R-NY) defended his support for the DIGNIDAD Act, pushing back against the "amnesty" label frequently applied by conservative critics [2, 7]. Lawler argued that the bill offers a pragmatic, bipartisan solution to the border crisis by requiring undocumented immigrants to complete a rigorous seven-year "Dignity Program" involving restitution payments and mandatory background checks [3, 5]. He emphasized that the legislation prioritizes national security and border enforcement while providing an earned legal status—not a direct path to citizenship—which he frames as a necessary step to resolve the status of millions already in the country [1, 4]. Despite his defense, Laura Ingraham challenged the Representative on whether the bill's provisions would incentivize further illegal immigration, a central point of contention as the House GOP remains deeply divided over the proposal [6, 8].

SEASON 4 EPISODE 57: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: When they insist Trump's Thursday night racist video depicting the Obamas as apes wasn’t posted by Trump but by somebody else in the White House – and then he undermines the lie they spread on his behalf by saying he selected the video and had them post it but he just didn’t see the whole thing but so what it wasn’t a mistake they just deleted it – I think each part of that is a lie. It was a set-up. I conclude that this is not just blatant, human garbage racism, inherited Trump Family Branded racism, but I conclude the entire thing was designed – to whatever degree anything Trump and these scumbags do is DESIGNED – it was DESIGNED to turn out this way. Event happens, justifiable backlash, unrighteous indignation from press secretary Eva Braun, oops it wasn’t supposed to be posted, oops bad staffer, oops Trump comes out at the end of the day and… endorses the original racism anyway, quote, “I didn’t make a mistake.” And he did it this circuitous way, the way he expresses ALL his racism against BLACK people, because he can’t send ICE after them. But the point of the video was he was reminding his putrid, hate-driven base that he can't send ICE after them...FOR THE MOMENT. B-Block (33:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: There are actually people in politics and media who for some reason don't see that Jeff Bezos hired Will Allen to slowly destroy The Washington Post (to please Trump) and think this was all some sort of mismanagement, rather than a well-executed plan. Unfortunately at least two of them wrote it on their sites: Jim Vandehei and Dylan Byers. Sage Steele is back with not only anti-athlete, anti-freedom of speech conservative swill, but stuff that is almost a word-for-word duplication of what Laura Ingraham wrote 20 years ago. And incredibly, in Year 11 of the Trump Scam, there's still a guy on CNN thinks Trump just changed his tone. C-Block (45:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Not to say I've had a lot of jobs but I just remembered one that I had FORGOTTEN: my two weeks as the entire sports department on a New York City newspaper that went daily, while the big papers were out on strike in 1978!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's News Day Tuesday on the Majority Report On today's program: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is asked by Laura Ingraham whether there will be consequences for men who "partied with Epstein and engaged in relations with minors." Blanche responds, "It is not a crime to party with Jeffrey Epstein." Two days before those comments regarding Epstein were made, Todd Blanch tells George Stephanopoulos that his job is to execute the priorities of the president. Writer Jamie Holmes joins the program to discuss his book The free and the Dead: The Untold Story of the Black Seminole Chief, the Indigenous Rebel, and America's Forgotten War. In the Fun Half: Andrew Schulz says that the recent ICE murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good were a breaking point for him. AOC emphasizes the need to repeal this massive increase in DHS funding, which lacks guardrails and effectively serves as a blank check for Palantir to build a facial-recognition database on Americans. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) says that republicans didn't want to talk about Epstein until they needed a distraction from ICE. Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers is asked whether he stands by his comments calling the killing of Renee Good a murder, and he doubles down. Donald Trump calls into Dan Bongino's show and seems a little peppier than usual as he goes on a never-ending stream of consciousness rant. Chuck Schumer posts photos with Maria Machado with captions that express what an honor it was spend time with the "leader of democracy in Venezuela". SEASON 4 EPISODE 51: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: In Trump’s War against the United States of America, as he readies 1500 members of the 11th Airborne in Alaska to parachute into Minnesota in a bid to provoke Civil War, as he threatens conflict with NATO while being unable to remember America is IN Nato, is the dictator’s next step an attempt to arrest Joe Biden? To indict Kamala Harris? To convene grand juries to pursue the former First Lady and Jen Psaki and Kareen Jean-Pierre and god knows who else? “Everyone is asking about the Autopen (question mark)” because he’s nearly 80 and he still doesn’t know how to use punctuation marks. It starts with usual Trumpian stupidity and then turns very dark very fast. Quote: “it was an absolutely illegal act perpetrated by the Radical Left Insurrectionists who illegally ran the Biden Administration. Every one of them should be arrested for what they have done… the whole thing was rigged, there must be a price to pay, and it has got to be a big one,” end quote. This is no longer one of those 'signs of his mental illness' from the 1st administration; this is something one of his whores at the Department of Justice will act upon because a) they ARE whores and b) because they are soft and frankly getting an indictment against Joe Biden for something that amounts to “Being President Without Trump’s Permission” is just easier than confronting the whining pants-soiling Jabba the Hutt with bronzer currently occupying the White House – until the floor beneath him collapses. Possibly – given Trump’s weight – LITERALLY. MEANWHILE: We are blackmailing NATO and the EU over Greenland, and he is trying to start a civil war in Minnesota. And his minion is caught on tape ordering CBS to run an interview unedited and this clown Bari Weiss is caught complying. B-Block (30:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: It HAD to happen some day - and this is the day. All three medal winners are either my exes, or connected to my exes. Katy Tur, Megyn Kelly (God no), Laura Ingraham, Kyrsten Sinema. Lawsuits, journalistic disasters, self-contradictions, and me actually defending Katy's husband. C-Block (43:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Just passed the anniversary: the day I met the great '60s-'70s-'80s American actress, star of "Bewitched," portrayer of Lizzie Borden, and instant friend for life, Elizabeth Montgomery.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Democrats release a new batch of Jeffrey Epstein's emails—including messages suggesting that Trump knew what Epstein was doing and spent time with one of his victims. Republicans fire back with 20,000 more pages of documents, Trump insists it's all a hoax, and Congress moves toward a vote that could force DOJ to release the full Epstein files. Jon and Dan break down how bad this is for Trump and his vanity building projects, the government's belated reopening, the lingering shutdown hangover, the future of ACA subsidies, and a sneaky provision that would let eight GOP senators sue the federal government. They also discuss Trump's disastrous interview with Laura Ingraham, his baffling affordability pivot, and MAGA outrage over Kash Patel using an FBI jet as his own private shuttle service. Then, Texas State Rep. James Talarico stops by to talk about why he's jumping into the Democratic primary to unseat Senator John Cornyn. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Open for Business! President Donald Trump officially signed legislation reopening the federal government after a 43-day shutdown. The segment opens with audio from Trump at the Resolute Desk, where he criticizes Democrats for what he calls an attempted “extortion” of American taxpayers to fund benefits for illegal immigrants. Clay and Buck analyze the political fallout, questioning whether Democrats will repeat shutdown tactics in 2026 as part of their midterm election strategy. The conversation transitions into a broader discussion on Senate filibuster reform, with Clay advocating for procedural changes to prevent future shutdowns driven by minority party obstruction. Buck adds historical context, referencing past filibuster modifications and the potential consequences of further rule changes. Uncle Bill: All for Nothing A wide-ranging interview with bestselling author and media veteran Bill O’Reilly. Clay and Buck do a deep dive into the political fallout from the recent government shutdown, which O’Reilly attributes to far-left consultants steering the Democratic Party into a failed strategy aimed at making pandemic-era Obamacare spending permanent. He argues that the shutdown hurt millions of Americans and yielded no real gains for Democrats, who now risk being branded as the “mean party” heading into the 2026 midterms. The hosts and O’Reilly also discuss the resurfacing of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, which they believe was used as a distraction from Democratic missteps. The conversation shifts to the 2028 presidential race, where Clay and Buck predict Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the likely Democratic ticket. O’Reilly disagrees, citing Newsom’s poor record in California, including mass outmigration and corruption scandals, and suggests Maryland Governor Wes Moore as a more viable alternative. The trio also debate the dangers of artificial intelligence in politics and media, highlighting the rise of deepfake videos and AI-generated misinformation. O’Reilly references a false image involving President Donald Trump that was cited by Rep. Melanie Stansberry, warning that AI will make it increasingly difficult to distinguish truth from fiction. The hosts call for urgent reform of defamation and libel laws to protect public figures and citizens from malicious AI content. What H-1B Visas Are Supposed To Be The H-1B visa program triggers a contentious exchange between Laura Ingraham and President Trump. Trump defends the need for foreign talent in specialized industries, while Ingraham argues that American workers should be prioritized. Buck provides data indicating that over 750,000 H-1B visa holders are currently working in the U.S., with India accounting for 75% of recent recipients. Clay and Buck debate whether the program is being abused by corporations to undercut American wages and bypass domestic hiring. Buck clarifies that Trump’s comments about lacking domestic talent were aimed at highly specialized roles, such as semiconductor manufacturing, where foreign expertise is temporarily needed. Multiple callers share firsthand experiences with H-1B hires, sparking a robust debate. A computer programmer from California claims foreign workers were paid less despite equal performance. A North Carolina business owner defends the program, citing higher productivity among foreign hires. An engineering manager warns of wage suppression and offshoring trends, while another caller shares how his son’s defense contractor job was outsourced to foreign engineers despite national security concerns. Female Mamdani? Clay and Buck dive into some breaking news, cultural commentary, and audience-driven debate, beginning with reports of a violent incident involving Alina Habba, a U.S. attorney in New Jersey, whose office was attacked by a bat-wielding suspect. Clay and Buck highlight the growing concern over left-wing violence and express relief that Habba is unharmed. They also cover Senator John Fetterman’s hospitalization following a fall caused by a ventricular fibrillation episode, noting his humorous response and drawing parallels to historical political wit. The hour transitions into a critique of Michelle Obama’s recent comments on race and beauty, with Clay and Buck arguing that identity politics are eroding public discourse. They dissect her career trajectory, including her high-paying diversity role at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and question the merit of such positions. This leads into a broader discussion about the Democratic Party’s push for government-run grocery stores, citing examples from Seattle and New York City. Clay and Buck mock the idea as reminiscent of failed socialist models like Cuba, and reference studies—including one from The New York Times—showing that increased access to healthy food does not necessarily change consumer behavior in low-income communities. Clay and Buck argue that food deserts are often misrepresented and that consumer choice, not corporate abandonment, drives product availability. They emphasize the inefficiency of government-run enterprises, citing failed experiments in cities like Kansas City, and warn against policies that ignore market realities. The conversation includes a call from a listener in Rochester, New York, who explains that theft and crime—not lack of demand—are driving grocery stores out of urban areas. The hosts agree, noting that store closures also eliminate local jobs and further destabilize communities.
