EPISODE DESCRIPTION I sat down with Mamadou Kwidjim Toure, co-founder of U-Tribe and GIFT (Gold International Fungible Token), to explore one of the most ambitious real-world asset projects I've come across. Mamadou spent decades in banking and early-stage investing across Africa , including in the first GSM projects and mobile payments before M-Pesa , and he turned that experience into a mission: giving anyone on earth access to physical, one-to-one backed gold from as little as 15 cents. We talk about why central banks are quietly buying more physical gold than at any point in the past 40 years, why the gold ETF market is dangerously over-encumbered, and how GIFT's MiCA-regulated token could become the financial safety net for 2.5 billion people across 35 countries. Mamadou also walks me through their quantum-enhanced wallet, their Ubuntu Academy for financial and digital literacy, and their upcoming STO launching in July. This one is packed with insight on the real shift happening in global finance right now. DISCLAIMERNothing mentioned in this podcast is investment advice and please do your own research. The podcast content may contain sensitive topics. Listener discretion is advised. CAPACITY.  It's the single most important and often most overlooked factor in protecting children from online exploitation. Parents often ask, “What age is safe for a child to be online?”  But age isn't the real question.Capacity is.Does your child have the maturity, reasoning skills, and emotional grounding to navigate a digital world sharedwith 5.5 billion people, including individuals who intentionally target minors?Do they understand enough about adult behavior and boundaries to recognize grooming when it begins and not after it's too late? And perhaps most importantly, is your relationship strong enough that they will come to you themoment something feels wrong? On this episode of the Protect & Prevent Podcast (P3 Kids), Opal Singleton Hendershot of MillionKids.org, one of the leading voices in keeping kids safe from predators, breaks down what “capacity” really means and why it matters more than ever. You'll learn how to build a positive, instructive relationship to help young people recognize both the value and dangers of being online. We will explore helpful conversations andeven written agreements that can assist parents and minors before they find themselves in danger.  The online world is evolving daily. Your child's ability to navigate it safely depends on more than filters, apps, or rules. It depends on their capacity to recognize danger, setboundaries, and to know when to reach out for help. This episode gives parents the tools to build that capacity before a crisis ever begins. For more info and to donate tothis 501(c)3 charity, you can reach Million Kids at:Website: https://MillionKids.orgEmail: info@MillionKids.orgBe sure to follow and like our posts on:Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/IEMillionKidsInstagram:https://instagram.com/MillionKidsTeen

From ROI to EROI: How One Entrepreneur Is Helping Eradicate Bible Poverty by 2033 What happens when a retail entrepreneur has a Holy Spirit moment at a Bible dedication ceremony in Guatemala — and never looks at business the same way again? In this episode, host Justin Forman sits down with Mart Green, co-founder of Mardel Christian bookstores and a driving force behind Illuminations, a collective impact initiative uniting Bible translation organizations around the world with one audacious goal: eradicate Bible poverty by 2033. Mart shares the origin story of Illuminations — from a small table of five CEOs and five resource partners meeting monthly in a Dallas airport admirals club — to a movement now involving 300+ people from dozens of organizations who've helped accelerate Bible translation from a projected finish date of 2150 down to 2041, with faith believing for 2033. He also opens up about his family's mission statement, his daily rhythm in God's Word, and what stewardship really looks like when you stop being an owner and start being a steward. Key Topics: The Guatemala moment that shifted Mart's lens from ROI to EROI (Eternal Return on Investment) How Illuminations was built brick by brick — starting with three organizations and growing to a 300-person annual gathering The Stanford Collective Impact framework — and the sixth element Stanford missed (communal prayer) How AI and technology are accelerating Bible translation, cutting projected timelines by decades Why generosity, humility, and integrity are the only character traits Mart looks for in a partner The Green family mission statement: "Love God intimately. Live extravagant generosity." Mart's daily scripture rhythm and the O-I-O-I framework (Open, Insight, Obey, Intimacy) Notable Quotes: "In that moment, I kind of went from ROI to EROI. What's the eternal return on investment?" — Mart Green "Satan always attacks at the point of unity. I guess it's because it's powerful." — Mart Green "There's only two things that last forever — God's Word and the souls of men and women. So if I can get those two combined, it's less of a responsibility." — Mart Green About the Guest: Mart Green is a second-generation entrepreneur and son of Hobby Lobby founder David Green. He co-founded Mardel Christian bookstores at age 19 and has since become a major force in faith-based philanthropy. He is a key resource partner in Illuminations, the world's largest Bible translation collective impact initiative, which is working to ensure that every people group has access to God's Word in their heart language by 2033. Mart and his family of 50 — all living in Oklahoma City — operate from a shared mission: to love God intimately and live extravagant generosity.

SHOW-NOTESWhat do you say about something that has broken the language we use to describe it? In this episode, we tackle the question that has left historians, political scientists, and ordinary citizens reaching for words that keep falling short — how do you make sense of a presidency so chaotic, so unprecedented, and so relentless that keeping up with it feels like trying to read a book while it's on fire? The answer, it turns out, starts not with politics — but with a golf course. From the classroom to the view from space, this episode connects two powerful lenses on the Trump era — what history actually tells us about leaders like this, and what it means that one person's decisions now affect eight billion people and the only planet we have. Along the way, we explore the strongman psychology that keeps producing leaders like him, the environmental permanence of the decisions being made right now, and the deeply alarming global normalization of hate that is accelerating in his wake. But the episode does not end in despair. It ends where every honest reckoning with power must eventually arrive — with the question of what we do next. Including a revelation about the hidden engine driving both the political crisis and the environmental crisis simultaneously — and why dismantling one may be the key to dismantling the other. What happens when your AI strategy moves faster than your team's ability to trust it, govern it, or explain it? In this episode of Leveraging Thought Leadership, Peter Winick sits down with Kate O'Neill—Founder & CEO of KO Insights, author of "What Matters Next", and globally recognized as a "tech humanist"—to unpack what leaders are getting dangerously wrong about digital transformation right now. Kate challenges the default mindset that tech exists to serve the business first and humans second. She reframes the entire conversation as a three-way relationship between business, humans, and technology. That shift matters, because "human impact" isn't a nice-to-have. It's the core variable that determines whether innovation scales sustainably or collapses under backlash, risk, and regret. You'll hear why so many companies are racing into AI with confidence on the surface and fear underneath. Boards want speed. Markets reward bold moves. But many executives privately admit they don't fully understand the complexity or consequences of the decisions they're being pressured to make. Kate gives language for that tension and practical frameworks for "future-ready" leadership that doesn't sacrifice long-term resilience for short-term acceleration. The conversation gets real about what trust and risk actually mean in an AI-driven world. Kate argues that leaders need a better taxonomy of both—because without it, AI becomes a multiplier of bad decisions, not a generator of better ones. Faster isn't automatically smarter. And speed without wisdom is just expensive chaos. Finally, Kate shares the larger mission behind her work: influencing the decisions that impact millions of people downstream. Her "10,000 Boardrooms for 1 Billion People" initiative is built around one big idea—if we want human-friendly tech at scale, we need better thinking at the top. Not performative ethics. Not buzzwords. Better decisions, made earlier, by the people with the power to set direction. If you lead strategy, product, innovation, or culture—and you're feeling the pressure to "move faster" with AI—this episode gives you the language, frameworks, and leadership posture to move responsibly without losing momentum. Three Key Takeaways: • Human impact isn't a soft metric—it's a strategy decision. Kate reframes transformation as a three-way relationship between business, humans, and technology. If you don't design for the human outcome, the business outcome eventually breaks. • AI speed without trust creates risk. Leaders feel pressure to move fast, but trust, governance, and clarity lag behind. Without a shared understanding of risk and responsibility, AI becomes a multiplier of bad decisions. • Better decisions upstream create better outcomes at scale. Kate's "10,000 Boardrooms for 1 Billion People" idea drives home that the biggest lever isn't the tool—it's leadership judgment. The earlier the thinking improves at the top, the safer and more scalable innovation becomes. If Kate's "tech humanist" lens made you rethink how you're leading AI and transformation, your next listen should be our episode 149 with Brian Solis. Brian goes deep on what most leaders miss—the human side of digital change, the behavioral ripple effects of technology, and why transformation only works when it's designed for people, not just performance. Queue it up now and pair the two episodes back-to-back for a powerful executive playbook: Kate helps you decide what matters next—Brian helps you understand what your customers and employees will do next.

JupyterLite, a fully browser-based distribution of JupyterLab, is enabling new levels of global scalability in technical education. Developed by Sylvain Corlay's QuantStack team, it allows math and programming lessons to run entirely in students' browsers — kernel included — without relying on Docker or cloud-scale infrastructure. Its most prominent success is Capytale, a French national deployment that supports half a million high school students and over 200,000 weekly sessions from essentially a single server, which hosts only teaching content while computation happens locally in each browser.QuantStack, founded in 2016 as what Corlay calls an “accidental startup,” has since grown into a 30-person team contributing across Jupyter, Conda-Forge, and Apache Arrow. But JupyterLite embodies its most ambitious goal: making programming education accessible to countries with rapidly growing youth populations, such as Nigeria, where traditional cloud-hosted notebooks are impractical. Achieving a billion-user future will require advances in accessibility, collaboration, and expanding browser-based package support — efforts that depend on grants and foundation backing.Learn more from The New Stack about Project JupyterFrom Physics to the Future: Brian Granger on Project Jupyter in the Age of AIJupyter AI v3: Could It Generate an ‘Ecosystem of AI Personas?'Join our community of newsletter subscribers to stay on top of the news and at the top of your game.   Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. India's journey in digital health began just over a decade ago, yet it has quickly grown into one of the most ambitious transformations worldwide. It started in 2012 with maternal and child health programs, expanded to cover non-communicable diseases, and gained momentum with the launch of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in 2020. At the heart of ABDM is the ABHA ID—a unique 14-digit health identifier for every citizen. Combined with registries for facilities and professionals, and a consent-based health information exchange, India has laid the groundwork for a truly interoperable system. So far, over 800 million ABHA IDs have been created. Yet, only around 20% of facilities and professionals are onboarded, with adoption challenges in the private sector. Ritesh Aeron is a distinguished digital health expert and program management specialist with a strong track record of driving large-scale health systems transformation through digital innovation. He currently serves as a Director at the Equitable Global Healthcare Foundation (EGHF), a role he has held since April 2025. In this discussion he explains: What is the current state of healthcare digitalization in India? How did India's digital health journey start and evolve? What is the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and how does it work? What is the ABHA ID and why is it important? How does interoperability and consent-based data exchange function? How many people and facilities are onboarded so far? What challenges remain in adoption and regulation? How is data being used for population health and surveillance? What role does AI and innovation play in care delivery? How open is the Indian market for global providers? How is AI affecting both healthcare delivery and the software workforce?

Global population estimates, long considered bedrock facts, are facing a fascinating scientific challenge from new research. A study suggests Earth's human count could be vastly underestimated, potentially affecting critical resource allocation for rural communities. This segment dives into the method, expert skepticism, and the vital role of intellectual humility in scientific discovery. It's a perfect example of how even "concrete" numbers can be flawed by unchecked assumptions, reinforcing that a healthy skepticism and a willingness to self-correct are the hallmarks of good science – unlike those who seek to use such findings to fuel wild conspiracy theories or undermine trust in facts. It's a refreshing look at how the scientific process truly works, even if it might mean the world is a lot more crowded than we thought.News Source:Human Population MiscalculationBy Darren Orf for Popular MechanicsJune 21, 2025

Message Us!What would you sacrifice to bring someone eternal life? This powerful question frames our exploration of Acts 10, where Peter's journey to Cornelius marks the moment the gospel first intentionally crossed cultural boundaries to reach the Gentile world. The staggering reality is that today, 3.5 billion people have virtually no access to the gospel—not those who've rejected it, but those who've never had the opportunity to hear it.Through Peter and Cornelius' story, we discover the essential framework for global missions: God orchestrates, and believers participate. While God does the heavy lifting of salvation, He invites us into three specific ways of participation—praying, going, and sending.Prayer forms the foundation of all mission work. When we pray for the unreached, for missionaries, and for more laborers, we align our hearts with God's passion that none should perish. True prayer for missions will transform us, breaking our hearts for what breaks God's heart. The call to "go" isn't for everyone, but missions requires absolute obedience, often without knowing all the details. When Peter heard God's call, he wasn't given the full picture—just the next step. Those who answer this call face sacrifice: leaving comfort, security, relationships, and sometimes risking their lives to bring eternal life to others. Is it worth it? As one missionary shared after years of malaria, attempted break-ins, and family separation: "While the joys abound, the challenges are manifold."For those not called to go, sending through generous giving becomes our mission. With missionaries needing $6,700-$10,000+ monthly to serve effectively, our financial support makes their work possible. As two teenagers who walked 100 miles to raise funds for a missionary vehicle said, "We wanted to walk so our missionaries would not have to."The 3.5 billion unreached are not just statistics—they're individuals with names, families, dreams, and eternal souls. How will you respond to reach them? Start a prayer journal. Consider your calling. Give sacrificially. Together, we can bring Christ's hope to every nation, tribe, and tongue.Support the show

Marketing has been through a dramatic change in the last decade. In the past, marketing was tightly knit to advertising. Brands would pay the networks for ads and immediately see growth in their bottom lines. Transparency and access to information have changed the game for businesses. The playing field has been leveled, and customers are more educated than ever. Spending money can give you the edge when it comes to client acquisition, but it can also accelerate the rate at which people lose trust in your brand. That's why marketers and entrepreneurs like Chris Do have been differentiating themselves from the pack. His “help-over-sell” approach has built him a trustworthy brand followed by millions; allowing him to educate and profit at the same time. In this conversation Chris shared with us:
