Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Compere Richard Cracknell and Marlon as Dominic Solanke scored a stunning acrobatic equaliser as we fought back to force a draw against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon. After a lacklustre first period in which Rayan Cherki had given Pep Guardiola's side an early lead before Antoine Semenyo doubled their advantage just before the interval, it looked like City were heading towards a third straight Premier League win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But it was a completely different story after the break as we took the game to the visitors, pulling one back when Solanke forced Marc Guehi into an own goal. The England international then produced a moment of pure magic, scoring for the third time in four games with a spectacular scorpion kick to level the scores and give us a vital point. Thomas Frank speaks after Tottenham salvaged a draw against Manchester City at home. Dominic Solanke inspired the comeback. TIMESTAMPS 0:00 intro 0:10 Solanke is not there fitness wise, we have been hard hit with injuries. 1:04 There is clear contact on the ball from Solanke, if the Liverpool goal against us counts, luck finally dropped to us. 1:35 Romero went off with illness, he struggled through the Frankfurt match, we hope it's nothing. 2:06 I am extremely happy we got a point out of a big second half. This team's ability to respond to setbacks and show resilience, we are growing it bit by bit. We have Archie and Joao In defence. 3:35 We are active in the transfer market, if something happens let's see. 4:20 We did some okay things first half, they punished our first mistake so hard. We were even more aggressive, felt like everything landed for them first half. The fans and players were so united. 5:22 We tried to be front-footed first half 5:50 Xavi was exceptional. He's a very good footballer, he's an even bigger winner. 6:11 I think it's fair to say that the Premier League is the best league in the world. It's the most physical league. To adapt to that it takes some time. Some players adapt faster. @HaytersTV – Football Up Close. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Darren Hart and Luke as a superb professional performance saw us enjoy an excellent win at Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night to book a fourth-place finish in the league phase of the Champions League and guarantee our path straight into the last 16. Needing a victory to confirm a top eight berth, we were dominant from start to finish at Deutsche Bank Park and eventually got the goals we deserved in the second half, Randal Kolo Muani scoring against his former club seconds after the restart before Dominic Solanke – whose penalty beat Frankfurt on this ground in the Europa League quarter-finals last season – secured the win with a clinical finish. The win means we avoid the play-off round and can now look forward to a two-legged last 16 tie in March against one of either Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Club Brugge or Galatasaray, we debate who we would like to face next and whether it could sway the Club to act in the final days of the transfer window. Thomas Frank and Dominic Solanke speak ahead of Tottenham's final Champions League clash against Frankfurt. Thomas Frank confirmed that both Wilson Odobert and Randal Kolo Muani are okay after a car crash. -TIMESTAMPS- 0:00: intro 0:10 Kolo Muani and Odobert are both fine, everyone involved in the accident is fine. They will arrive later tonight. Porro out with a hamstring injury out for four weeks, Van de Ven haven't travelled but could be available for the weekend. 1:00 No update on Kulusevski. 1:34 We have a great opportunity to secure a spot in the top eight. That is what we are focusing everything we can on. All about Frankfurt. 2:36 Solanke: I feel good u feeel fit, I won't be straight to sharpness already but I'm feeling good. 3:05 We are in the market, we will do everything we can to improve the squad. 3:51 I am in doubt if they were both in that car but they were fine, it was on the way to the airport. 4:20 I can't speak about last year, for me I see an opportunity ahead of us tomorrow We want to do everything we can to win. Bergvall and Porro both unavailable but Sarr is back. Great opportunity for academy players. 5:50 Solanke: we are looking forward to tomorrow. 6:19 I haven't spoken to both players involved in the car crash yet, I fully expect both to be available for tomorrow. 6:45 I think it's not about me it's about us, we are in a position where a win takes us into the top eight, very proud. Solanke is a physical beast but he is pushing himself very hard. 8:29 Solanke: think last year we weren't as good as we wanted to be in the league, that was a huge part of the season, have fond memories of Frankfurt. 9:31 Porro injury definitely hasn't helped any of us, we want the best players on the pitch but other players need to step up. 9:56 Solanke: It is always difficult being injured. Hard to watch the team knowing you can't change it. I want to do everything I can to help the team. 10:45 the mental and physical load on the players to produce every third and fourth game is very big. Many teams adapt to it, Newcastle have struggled with it before. We just need to learn from it and keep producing. 12:36 I am happy with Kinsky he is a great player. Every player wants to play. 12:56 Just a minor thing for Van de Ven. Not a hamstring. 13:13 We have studied Frankfurt closely, they are in their best form but they have done fantastically previously. @HaytersTV – Football Up Close. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actors TJ Ramini and Darren Hart along with Luke as another wonderful Champions League night in N17 saw us overcome Borussia Dortmund with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke rounding off an excellent performance. Tuesday's 2-0 victory guaranteed a top 24 finish in the league phase and a play-off place and, depending on Wednesday night's results, it's likely a win at Eintracht Frankfurt next Wednesday will secure a passage straight into the last 16. Facing a Dortmund side which had only lost once in the Bundesliga all season and were joint top scorers in this season's Champions League, we were always on top in the contest, even before Daniel Svensson was given a straight red card in the 26th minute. By that stage, Romero had netted his first Champions League goal for us, while Solanke capped his first start of the season with his first goal of the campaign to put us 2-0 up at the break, a lead we didn't relinquish. It extended our run to 24 home European matches without defeat and four home wins without conceding in the league phase this term, while there was a further bright spot with a debut off the bench for 17-year-old Academy product Jun'ai Byfield, becoming Legacy Number 902 in the process. We also discuss what impact the nature of the result has on under-fire head coach Thomas Frank. Dominic Solanke spoke after Tottenham's 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. He was very happy to have started his first match of the season so far. -TIMESTAMPS- 0:00 intro 0:05 The goal went in in slow motion 0:23 Time out was some of the toughest moments of my life. 0:39 I didn't think I was out for the season but I didn't know when I was going to be back. 0:58 it's difficult when you can't help the team. Hopefully fit for the rest of the season. 1:23 I think the World Cup is what everyone wants to be involved in but I want to get back firing for Tottenham. 1:40 Football is tough, a lot of hard decisions that need be made. Delighted to be back in the squad. 2:00 I'm one of the more experienced players in the team. 2:15 Frankfurt will be another great game. 2:33 Would be nice to finish in the top 8. 2:40 we need to be better in the league. 3:13 Champions League will be very difficult to win but we try and do our best. @HaytersTV – Football Up Close. Jack is joined by Phil to discuss the seemingly inevitable exit of Thomas Frank that is... still yet to happen. Despite an awful 2-1 loss at home to West Ham and intense gossip suggesting he would be sacked on Monday, the manager has apparently received a vote of confidence from the board, citing a "good lunch" with Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange. We ask how on earth they have come to this decision when Frank simply doesn't look fit for the role. We also turn the spotlight on the squad. Do certain players need to take a long, hard look at themselves? Is there a culture at Tottenham that allows this group to constantly hide behind the manager or the board when things go wrong? We discuss the rumours linking Xavi Hernandez to the job. Is he really the right man, or are there flags present already? Finally, attention turns to the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund. We question Frank's controversial decision to remove Mathys Tel from the European squad to reinstate Dominic Solanke, and pick through the key quotes from a defiant pre-match press conference. There's a reason we left this one until near the end... a week ago all seemed positive at Tottenham Hotspur, a win against rivals Arsenal, but a week on and James Maddison has picked up an ACL injury, others such as Destiny Udogie and Dominic Solanke, who were meant to be back still aren't, and last night Bayern Munich handed Thomas Frank's boys a bit if a football lesson. Ricky Saunders joins James to discuss what that means for Fantasy ahead of an enticing set of fixtures. Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero and Micky Van De Ven all still appeal at different price points and parts of the FPL community want one of Brennan Johnson or Mohammed Kudus. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Patrick Tyrant and David Harris via Irish Hotspur as our 2024/25 Premier League campaign ended on a disappointing note as we suffered a 4-1 home reverse to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon. After one of the greatest weeks in the Club's history as we celebrated Europa League success, a difficult league season concluded with another defeat as the visitors hit four unanswered goals in the second half after we'd led at half-time through a Dominic Solanke penalty. The hectic week and long season probably took its toll in the second period as Jack Hinshelwood netted twice, Matt O'Riley converted a penalty and Diego Gomez scored a fine goal in the final minutes to give the Seagulls all three points and ensuring we finished the campaign in 17th place in the table. We reflect on what the campaign means for Ange Postecoglou and his long-term future at the club, with Daniel Levy understood to be presently undecided on whether to stick-or-twist with Postecoglou. EXCLUSIVE - NordVPN Deal ➼ https://nordvpn.com/lwos Try it risk-free now with a 30-day money-back guarantee! Host Richard Cracknell is joined by Actors Darren Hart, TJ Ramini alongside Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Tottenham took a big step towards the Europa League final with a deserved first-leg win over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt - but a late goal just leaves a little window of doubt. It was one of Spurs' best performances of a wretched season domestically and leaves them two games away from a first trophy since 2008. Ange Postecoglou's side took only 38 seconds to open the scoring as Brennan Johnson headed in from Richarlison's nod down. James Maddison doubled the lead when he brilliantly took down Pedro Porro's long ball before squeezing the ball into the bottom corner. Dominic Solanke rolled in a nonchalant penalty for 3-0 after Cristian Romero was fouled. Bodo/Glimt have made headlines in recent times for an intense style of football that has led to impressive results - but they were outplayed until Ulrik Saltnes' effort flew into the top corner via a deflection off Rodrigo Bentancur. That was their only shot on target. To get the best discount off your NordVPN plan - go to nordvpn.com/lwos - our link will also give you 4 extra months on the 2-year plan. Spurs beat Bodø/Glimt to put one foot into the semi final! There is still much to fight for in the second leg and the tie is far from over, but Spurs did what needed to be done at home. It was one of the best atmospheres seen in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Injuries to James Maddison and Dominic Solanke were a concern however Ange Postecoglou appears to downplay them. #tottenhamnews #spursofficial Chapters 00:00 - Introduction and Game Overview 02:56 - Player Performances and Lineup Analysis 06:00 - Tactical Insights and Game Strategy 09:08 - Midfield Dynamics and Player Roles 11:55 - Refereeing and Game Management 15:04 - Future Prospects and Squad Depth 30:14 - Midfield Dynamics and Tactical Adjustments 32:01 - Defensive Strategies in Europa League vs. League 34:54 - Possession Statistics and Game Strategy 36:57 - Player Performance and Tactical Roles 39:07 - Injury Impact and Squad Depth 42:34 - Future Lineup Considerations 46:11 - Transfer Market Speculations 51:30 - Wrap-Up and Final Thoughts Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFyOVS9_WQa0KaoSU06CaFQ/join Learn more about your ad choices. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Compère Richard Cracknell, Actor TJ Ramini and Patrick Tyrant as a disappointing north London derby ended in defeat as Arsenal came from behind to take all three points at the Emirates on Wednesday night. Heung-Min Son fired us ahead in the 25th minute after we'd survived a fraught opening spell but Arsenal hit back with two goals in four minutes just before half-time through a Dominic Solanke own goal and Leandro Trossard to go in front. The second period was a lacklustre 45 minutes from both sides and we struggled to produce anything in front of goal until virtually the last kick of the game when Pedro Porro crashed a shot against the post. It means we are now on a run of one win in our last nine Premier League matches. Marcus and Dan react to Wednesday's outstanding 1-0 win over Liverpool in the League Cup semi-final first leg, sealed by Lucas Bergvall's first goal for the club. The night got off to a grim start with Rodrigo Bentancur's injury but Spurs kept their composure to edge ahead in the tie, thanks to brilliant displays by Bergvall, Archie Gray, Dominic Solanke, Djed Spence and, of course, debutant Antonin Kinsky.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, TV Producer/Director/Writer Simon Yemaine and Marlon Via Spurs Kings TV as Alexander Isak continued his magnificent scoring run as Newcastle came from behind to inflict another home defeat on Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham and stretch their winning run in all competitions to six matches. The visitors came into Saturday's Premier League game in scintillating form but fell behind after just three minutes when Pedro Porro's in-swinging delivery was headed in by Dominic Solanke. However, Anthony Gordon restored parity two minutes later, firing low past Spurs' debutant goalkeeper Brandon Austin into the far corner in front of watching England manager Thomas Tuchel. Spurs were adamant Joelinton should have been penalised for handball in the build-up to Gordon's goal, but the officials deemed that the contact with Lucas Bergvall's pass was accidental and that the Brazilian's arm was in a natural position. Isak dragged a Jacob Murphy cross off target shortly after the half-hour mark but made no mistake from a similar position moments later, slotting home after Radu Dragusin had deflected another Murphy delivery into his path. The Swede becomes the third Newcastle player to score in seven consecutive Premier League matches, after Alan Shearer in 1996 and Joe Willock in 2021. Tottenham improved after the break and almost equalised 10 minutes into the second half, but Brennan Johnson struck the woodwork from the tightest of angles after Martin Dubravka had kept out Pape Sarr's effort from outside the box. Second-half substitute James Maddison curled an effort narrowly wide of the far post and Sergio Reguilon lashed a shot off target late on, but there was no way back for Spurs as Postecoglou's team slumped to a fifth home league defeat of the campaign. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Compère Richard Cracknell, Broadcaster Russ Williams and Marlon Via Spurs Kings TV as Ange Postecoglou described it as a 'bridge too far' after Liverpool ran out 6-3 winners in Sunday's Premier League clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Liverpool took a grip on proceedings in the first half as they moved 2-0 and then 3-1 up. It was 5-1 by the hour and although we staged a fightback to make it 5-3 with goals from Deki Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke, the visitors had the final word as Luis Diaz completed the scoring five minutes from time. Liverpool will be four points clear at the top of the Premier League on Christmas Day after a dominant 6-3 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Headers from Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister put the Reds two goals up after 36 minutes, before James Maddison pulled one back. Dominik Szoboszlai added the visitors' third in first-half stoppage time and was then joined on the scoresheet by Mohamed Salah, who converted twice following the interval. Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke netted what proved to be consolations as Diaz completed the scoring to see Arne Slot's side take advantage of second-placed Chelsea dropping points earlier in the day. Coming up in this podcast Arne Slot and Ryan Gravenberch give us their thoughts on the breathless encounter in the capital. Former Red Former Phil Thompson and current LFC Women defender Gemma Bonner joined Rob Jones in the studio for LFCTV's post-match show, whilst Nigel Spackman gave his analysis of the game from down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We also received contributions throughout the podcast from local fans Si Steers and Abigail Rudkin and from over in the US, Michael Crump from the Official LFC Supporters Club in Atlanta.
Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Compere Richard Cracknell, Broadcaster Russ Williams and Actor TJ Ramini as Chelsea's came back from two goals behind to win at Tottenham. Strikes from Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernandez and two spot-kicks from Palmer sank Spurs, who made a fast start but then fell apart and suffered a defeat that adds to the recent agony for under-fire manager Ange Postecoglou. Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski had put Tottenham 2-0 up in 11 minutes, but by the time Son Heung-min added their third in stoppage time the game had slipped away from them, as Spurs drop to 11th in the Premier League. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Wiliams, Actor TJ Ramini and YouTuber Jonny H as Ipswich recorded their first Premier League win of the season with a shock 2-1 win over sloppy and lacklustre Tottenham. Ipswich raced into a first-half lead courtesy of Sam Szmodics' clever overhead kick and Liam Delap's close-range finish. It left Spurs in another sticky situation up against a dogged and determined visitors who knew a storm was coming their way in the second half. Yet it never really materialised as only a Rodrigo Bentancur header found the net for underwhelming Spurs, who struggled to create clear-cut chances although Dominic Solanke thought he had scored on 52 minutes but his effort was out by VAR for a handball. Spurs were booed off by their home fans at full-time. They have seen their side lose five games already this season in the Premier League as Ange Postecoglou is struggling to find the key.
