Fresno St vs. San Jose St Pick Prediction 11/25/2021 by Tony T. Fresno St at San Jose St—Fresno St comes off the bye after a 27 point win home to New Mexico. They sit one game behind San Diego St for a berth into the Mountain West title game and own the tiebreaker. San Diego St has a hard game next week against Boise St. San Jose St at 5-6 is one win away from bowl eligibility. Spartans also coming off the bye after a 48-17 home defeat to Utah St. The Spartans have lost two straight. They were held to only 150 yards in the loss to the Aggies. Spartans quarterback Nick Starkel is completing 52.9%. He averaged only 4.8 yards per pass attempt on Utah St, 6.4 on Nevada, 3.9 on Western Michigan and 4.7 on Hawaii. Fresno St quarterback Jake Haener in his past two Mountain West games is completing 66.7% of his throws for 8.4 yards per pass attempt. Play Fresno St -8.5.

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview Week 11 of Mountain West football play. There are a few teams that are trying to become bowl eligible such as the winner between Boise State and Wyoming will get to six wins. San Jose State is also looking to become bowl eligible and it might help that they have Nick Starkel back under center. He returned to action last week and he might be the reason the Spartans get to bowl eligibility when they face Utah State this weekend. Expect a lot of points in that game and for it to blow past the over that is at 57.5. One of the other big games is Nevada going on the road to face San Diego State in a game that could shape the West Division. The Aztecs will be in the drivers seat if they get the win but if the Wolf Pack win it would create some chaos and for us to take a look at the tiebreaker situations. San Diego St vs. San Jose St Pick Prediction 10/15/2021 by Tony T. San Diego St at San Jose St—College football pick is San Diego St Aztecs -8. Aztecs run game rolling as the team is rushing for 241 yards with 5.2 yards per carry. Aztecs strength is a defense that holds opponents to 270 yards and only 1.9 per rush with 5.2 yards per pass attempt. San Jose St offense has been a disappointment. Transfer quarterback Nick Starkel has been disappointment completing 50.4% of his throws. Nick Nash saw action in the 32-14 defeat at Colorado St and completed only 50% sacked three times. Spartans have been held to under 300 yards in three of their past four games. They have not covered a spread this year. Play San Diego St -8.

New Mexico St vs. San Jose St Prediction 10/2/2021 by Tony T. New Mexico St at San Jose St—College football free pick is New Mexico St Aggies +28. After three straight road games the Spartans make their home opener. They do have a 17-13 win at Hawaii. But in an awful travel spot the Spartans had to travel to Western Michigan where they produced 119 offensive yards in a 20 point loss. San Jose St has not shown enough offense to lay these many points. New Mexico St has shown the ability to move the football as they gain 347 yards per game. Quarterback Jonah Johnson is completing 54% of his passes. Against Hawaii Johnson went 28 of 47 for 280 yards. Spartans quarterback Nick Starkel is completing only half of his passes with 6.6 yards per pass attempt. Rather take points. Play New Mexico St +28.

Hawaii has played over in their past two games giving up 35 to Portland St and 45 last week at Oregon St. Warriors defense is giving up 475 yards with 192 rushing for 5.2 yards per rush. Hawaii has issues defending the pass as opponents throwing for 283 yards for 8.7 yards per pass attempt. On offense they are throwing for 304 yards. Spartans quarterback Nick Starkel, an Arkansas transfer, completed 64% of passes last year. Hawaii quarterback Chevan Cordeiro had 366 passing yards in the loss to Oregon St. Two offenses averaging over 300 passing yards per game. Play San Jose St and Hawaii over 61.

It's Week 16 of the college football season ... and also Championship Week, which is one of the more bizarre sentences we've uttered in this 2020 bizarre season. AJ joins Carla and Crappy live as we continue our annual tradition of discussing all 10 conference title games in a single show. After a review of the chaos from last weekend — including shoe throwing, errant long snapping, fired head coaches, and a discussion on why Iowa State's high ranking makes us bristle (yep, we can't believe we said that either) — we get right into it. C-USA: UAB at Marshall (7 ET Friday, CBS Sports Network): Marshall's a good football team, nevermind the Rice mishap. UAB may struggle against the Herd's defense. MAC: Ball State vs. Buffalo (7:30 ET Friday, ESPN): Give us all of the Jaret Patterson, please. 1000 yards rushing and 18 TDs in just five games? Good luck, Cardinals. Pac-12: Oregon vs. No. 13 USC (8 ET Friday, FOX): A game that had to be moved with a late fill-in team is pretty much all you need to know about this one. Big Ten: No. 14 Northwestern vs. No. 4 Ohio State (Big Nude Saturday, FOX): The Buckeyes may need style points ... but Northwestern's defense may have other plans. (Spoiler alert: They're pretty darn good.) Big 12: No. 10 Oklahoma vs. No. 6 Iowa State (Noon ET Saturday, ABC): The Cyclones hung around with Oklahoma in October, then used a well-timed turnover to win. The Sooners' defense is improved now, though. Sun Belt: No. 19 Louisiana at No. 12 Coastal Carolina (3:30 ET Saturday, ESPN): These teams already met once too ... and it was a heck of a game. But, we're not going against our bandwagoning: Go Chickens! ACC: No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 2 Notre Dame (4 ET Saturday, ABC): Last meeting, the Irish held Travis Etienne to just 28 yards rushing ... and needed 2OTs to win. This time ... Trevor Lawrence is back. Mountain West: Boise State vs. No. 24 San Jose State (4:15 ET Saturday, FOX): This isn't the Boise that we're used to. SJSU is putting together a stellar run behind the arm of Nick Starkel. SEC: No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 7 Florida (8 ET Saturday, CBS): Umm ... next? AAC: No. 23 Tulsa at No. 9 Cincinnati (8 ET Saturday, ABC): Fifth time's a charm for this game? Cincy looks to make a statement and ... maybe impress the playoff committee? As if that's not enough football, we give honorable mention to the other weird stuff happening on Championship Week ... like the fact that there are other conference games being played. Ole Miss at LSU (3:30 ET Saturday, SEC Network) should be stupid fun. Saturday was also supposed to be the start of bowl season, but the first 2020 bowl game — the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl — has been canceled, and one team already has secured a replacement bowl bid. Because 2020. So ... that's the weekend. Lots of games that matter. Lots of games that, well, don't. We advise that you enjoy them all ... and then come back next week for our annual silliness that is Bowlapalooza. Cheers, yinz.

Hog fans, I love you! What a win last weekend against Colorado State! We start the show celebrating the good from that game, including CJ O'Grady's crazy TD catch as well as the overall impressive performance by Nick Starkel. As always we highlight Rakeem Boyd and Mataio Soli's performance. Chad and I then have a call where we play a word association game and go over his points spreads. We of course have to mention Razorback HOCKEY! We highlight JOHNNY CASH as the famous Arkansan of the week. We finally play a voicemail by one of our listeners who called into 615-392-0107!
