Maul or Nothing is back with a bigger, better and bolder season ahead. We catch up with the boys to find out how their summer was and particularly Max and Ryan's romantic trip around Scotland to go and play with the Worlds Strongest Men, The Staltman brothers. Its time to check in on Max's pre season and find out how the new faces are fitting in, while Ryan has some potentially very big news, that might not be big news but could maybe be absolutely huge news while also possibly being no news at all.The boys look ahead to what promises to be a heck of a year for the show and rugby as a whole with the URC and Prem kicking off while there are tasty autumn internationals to attend, sevens tournaments to party at and the Lions tour on the horizon. We get the predictions for both the URC and the Premiership while Max and Ryan run the rule over the ins and outs of players in both competitions. There's a cheeky Rugby Championship round up and the boys both agree South Africa are now Masters of the Universe..... but what about our dear Australia, can they recover in time for the British and Irish contingent heading down under or will the Wallabies be fed to the Lions? We also get some insight into the Steve Borthwick camp and what happened with Felix Jones.....sort ofWe're back and we're so happy you're joining us on another season of Maul or Nothing. Big love as always! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Have you ever heard that “the measure of someone's character is how they treat those who have nothing to offer them” well what would it look like to be that person? Have you ever experienced being treated poorly or with greater esteem because someone wanted something from you or because you didn't have anything to offer them?Today I want to introduce you to Ali, I have known Ali for 4 years now and from the first time I wandered into his shop until now I have not only experienced this but also witnessed how he genuinely treats every person that comes through his door with the same value. In his own words, “my goal is that people would go out of my shop with happinessI simply wonder what a world would look like if we all approached each day, “wishing people left time with us happier?”This is a conversation I know has impacted me and one I'm excited and honored to share with you allAli shares with me why he is someone who loves humans, why he has taken the time to learn different languages to connect better with others, and why being a good father and a good husband is what he is most proud ofWe chat about his soccer teams recent win, how Turks are not Arabs, what it would be like to live in a world without war, and how the most difficult thing he's done is something I am sure I will never accomplishHe shares how his time living in the United States changed him and the way he does business, why he doesn't negotiate but instead deeply values running his shop with integrity and genuine connection I have been back to Cappadocia 5 times now and visiting Ali, sitting over a tea or a beer, hearing how life is, is one of the things that makes this place so specialAli is one that will greet you with a smile, one that shares practically what it looks like in his life to show others they hold value, and one that I know is worth learning more aboutSo tune in today and meet Ali, and I hope if it inspires you to visit Cappadocia, make sure you go tell him I say hiAnd to you Ali thank you, thank you for sharing your time over the years, for the honor of getting to call you a friend, for the way you have cared for everyone I have brought into your shop, for the genuine and warmth that you have always welcomed me with, and your sparkling personality. You are a fabulous human choosing to leave people better than you found them and I'm grateful to know you

Mavis is a masterful therapist and coach who has been teaching the Three Principles and working with clients for over 40 years. Being in the presence of Mavis Karn feels like sitting in the ultimate seat of wellbeing, but just as Mavis points out, this feeling is simply a byproduct of us slowing down in the moment and releasing anything from our mind. She teaches us about the importance of listening and how it comes first before anything else when looking to connect with others. Next, it is important to recognize our state of mind, as well as the other persons'. Understanding what mood we are in lets us know how to take care of ourselves and recognizing what another person's mood is, helps us to know whether or not they are in a good place to connect. Seeing state of mind makes it much easier to not take other people's behavior personally because we understand their behavior is a reflection of their state of mind and not us. Not taking other people's behavior personally means we suffer less.Mavis has a beautiful way of speaking about how well we're made as humans, how we all are made of the same divine, universal intelligence, and how this essence of ours is more than enough to guide us toward a beautiful life. She simplifies human suffering by stating that in all her years working as a therapist there is only one diagnosis she would ever feel is appropriate, and that's forgetting how well we're made. When we aren't aware of this truth, we look in the wrong direction for healing and we struggle since it isn't there. But as soon as we trust in our divinity, we come back home. This episode explores:The divine, universal intelligence we're made ofWe break the connection with our partners when we try to change their thinking, which can never workThe way to notice our innate wellbeing is by simply remembering it's thereWhen we are distracted from listening, just noticing that we're distracted releases us from the tranceThe power of listening with nothing on your mindShow NotesMavis Karn's recent and free listening trainings are accessible here.Mavis Karn, LSW, MA, is in private practice offering coaching, counseling, teaching, education, and consulting services. Mavis’s honesty and humble “true north” understanding of the inborn potential of each of us is deeply and broadly respected by clients and colleagues globally. She does no marketing. Few/a few/little/a littleFew i a few stosoujemy do rzeczwowników policzalnychNa przykładFew people, few books, few films A few friends, a few books.few oznacza po prostu mało – dla rzeczowników policzalnychA few zaś – kilka. There were a few people at the meeting so we could talk. – Było kilka osób na spotkaniu, więc mogliśmy pogadać – ma to wydźwięk pozytywny, dodatni.Jeżeli powiemy zaś: There were few people at the meeting so we couldn't vote anything. – Było mało osób na spotkaniu I nie mogliśmy na nic zagłosować. – Ma to wydźwięk negatywny, niewystarczający. Little i a little zaś odnoszą się, określają rzeczowniki niepoliczalneNa przykładHe drinks little water. – On pije mało wody.AleHe drinks a little wine at parties. – On pije trochę win ana przyjęciach. He has a little money, so let's go party! – On ma trochę kasy, więc chodźmy na imprezę. – Czyli Little oznacza mało dla rzeczowników niepoliczalnychA little oznacza troche I ma to wydźwięk pozytywnyNależy więc zapamiętać, że few i little sugerują zbyt małą liczbę, a a few i a little mają bardziej pozytywny wydźwięk, podkreślają fakt, że czegoś jest więcej niż tylko troszeczkę.Mówimy więc:-Little money - mało pieniędzy (zbyt mało by np. coś kupić)-Few books – mało książek-A little money – trochę pieniędzy ( mało, ale na coś tam starczy)-a few books – kilka książek Jak to można spróbować zapamiętać?Few ma trzy literki, więc bardzo mało…A few ma cztery literki więc to już trochę więcej, zawsze coś…Little ma mniej literek niż a little, więc little oznacza zupełnie mało, a little – o, to już coś zawsze jest… Inne przykłady:- I've got few friends – mam niewielu przyjaciół (oznacza to, że mam rzeczywiście mało przyjaciół, przydałoby się więcej)- I've got a few friends. – mam paru przyjaciół (to nieźle, zawsze mogę się z kimś spotkać)- I have little money - mam mało pieniędzy (nie dam rady kupić nic konkretnego, na nic mi nie wystarczy)- I have a little money – mam trochę pieniędzy (o! to może w coś zainwestuję, lub kupię nowy samochód) - I have a little time today – mam dziś troche czasu (to może pójdę do kina..)I jak zwykle spójrzmy, jak te wyrażenia stosowane są w piosenkach:FewThe Who – It's Hard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gV-kTMGUwIAny tough can fight, few can playAny fool can fall, few can layAny stud can reproduce, few can pleaseAnyone can pay, few can leaseIt's hardIt's hard(It's a hard, hard hand to hold(it's a hard, hard hand to holdIt's a hard land to control)It's a hard land to control)Any man can claim, few can findAny girl can blink, few can lieAnyone can promise, few can raiseAnyone can try, but a few can stayAny brain can hide, few can standAny kid can fly, few can land…A fewJay-Z – Suit and Tie – tutaj jest piosenka z tekstemhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTPHEJKbqdwI be on my suit and tie shit, tie shit, tieI be on my suit and tie shit, tie shitCan I show you a few things?A few things, a few things, little baby 'causeI be on my suit and tie shit, tie shitI be on my suit and tie shit, tie shitLet me show you a few thingsLet me show you a few thingsWait a minute, you ready, JT?I can't wait 'til I get you on the floor, good-lookingGoing out so hot, just like an ovenAnd I'll burn myself, but just had to touch itIt's so fly and it's all mineHey baby, we don't mind all the watching, hi'Cause if they study close, real close, they might learn somethingShe ain't nothing but a little doozy when she does itShe's so fly (she's so fly) tonightAnd as long as I've got my suit and tieI'ma leave it all on the floor…Toby Keith – A few more cowboys – piosenka z tekstemhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BuAZDuzq58If the White House was in Texas, man, we'd get a straighter answerIf they'd let us smoke what we want, we'd have a lot less cancerThere'd be a bunch more daddies, sons could be proud ofWe'd have half the crime, we'd have twice the funWith a few more cowboys, be a lot less outlawsWith a few more amens, be a lot less bad callsWith a few more yes ma'ams and a lot less yes manThis world would be a better place to live inWith a few more cowboysIf we did it with a handshake, we'd save a lot of paperThat'd save a lot of trees we're shippin' overseas to make herIf we stood by our word, took care of our ownBought it made in the USA, we'd keep it here at homeWith a few more cowboys, be a lot less outlawsWith a few more amens, be a lot less bad calls…Jaheim – special dayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFlMdZeSKGEBreakfast when you wake,Along with the candle on a cupcake that I baked,Catering you is much of my oblige,Instead of stress and mirage,You're the beat to my heart,Here's a rose with no thorns on the stem, you're a gem,You're the reason why i've, found 100 ways to,Adore you 3 times a day, morning noon and night,It's for youToday's a special day for you,These are a few, (these are a few, these are a few)Things I'd like to do for you,Today's a special day for you,These are a few, (these are a few, these are a few)Things I'd like to share with youI'm a fool for love today, honest I'll do,Anything you need me to, uh huh,From sun rise to sun set on this ordinary day,You can have it all your way,That's my job, you're a heart throb,Love's the…Little ARKARNA SO LITTLE TIME Song N LYRICshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3pU3EPgULUTook a while to drag me out of bedAim some coffee at my headSaw the clock, I'm running lateIt's an ordinary dayAnd I'm like a dog on heatKnock one out and then fall asleepIt's sad but trueI'd rather be with youDon't you forget about meWhen you're a celebrityIt will be only you and meBefore too longSo little time, so much to doI'd rather spend my days with youSo little time, so much to doI' like to spend one day with youAnd if that day is not enoughMaybe we can stay and touchBut I'm not making plansFor tomorrow, for tomorrowNever comes...Said I've been celibate for yearsNot out of choice there's no - Speaker or Performer: Bob Petersen Date of Delivery: October 14, 2018 God's System How It WorksGod put mankind on this for a specific, divine purposeGenesis 1:26-29 NAS 26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.Image: tselem (Heb.) literally a shadow which is the outline or representation of the originalWe look like God and are the same type of being that He isLikeness: demuwth (Heb.) resemblance, model of, likeness ofWe function like God with the same abilitiesrule over: radah (Heb.) to tread down, subjugate, have dominion, reignGod gave mankind the task of watching over and ruling over what happens on this earth.God would never have done this without giving man the abilities needed to rule on this earth. He wanted us to rule it as a “shadow” of Him with His “abilities”.God meant for us to rule on this earth without His intervention so He put a system in place here. There is a natural system of reproduction of kindThere is a spiritual system governed by spiritual lawsWe see the spiritual laws in action by Adam sinning and giving his authority to rule to Satan.God’s plan show in Matthew 6:10, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” has been His plan from the beginning.God’s ‘automatic’ system still exists today. We see the natural laws at work every day.As God’s people we are to learn how His spiritual system works and work it!This system contains two types of lawsThe boundary laws between the kingdom of darkness and us.These are the ‘shall nots’They allow Satan and his minions to gain access into our realm and to usThe laws of faithFaith works in the same way the boundary laws work except they let God and all He has into our realm and into us.Under this system we are to operate as a tselem – representation of and a demuwth – model of HimSo, if your boss puts you in charge of his business do you call him every time a decision needs made or do you run it as you think he would?Especially if he gave you an operating manual for how the business is to be run. Then why do we ‘ask’ God for everything instead of using what we are to do it?Here are a couple of examples of people working the system properly:Acts 3:6-7 NKJV Then Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.Luke 8:43-48 NKJV 43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?' 46 But Jesus said, Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me. 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. 48 And He said to her, Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.Mark 11:23-24 NKJV 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.Luke 10:17-19 NAS 17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name. 18 And He said to them, I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.Let’s start with simple thingsHealing - Isaiah 53:5 by His stripes we are healedMatthew 9:35 NAS Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.Get our of Debt - Deuteronomy 28:12 NAS The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.Over the devil - Luke 10:19 NAS Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.Worry - Matthew 6:25, 32-34 NAS 25 For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.2 Peter 1:1-11 NAS 1 Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; 3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, 6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, 7 and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
