Voici la seconde partie de l'entretien avec Kaoutar Harchi à propos de son dernier ouvrage Ainsi l'animal et nous, qui nous emmène dans une traversée au fil des siècles de la co-construction des systèmes de domination, et en particulier de l'imbrication du spécisme avec les autres systèmes de pouvoir qui écrasent les corps et détruisent les vies.  La frontière entre les êtres humanisés et les êtres animalisés, n'a rien de naturel. Elle a au contraire, au fil de l'histoire, été produite activement par certaines catégories dominantes qui se sont érigées en modèle idéal et exclusif de l'humanité, et ont renvoyé d'autres groupes d'invididus de l'autre côté de cette frontière, du côté de l'animalité, de l'infériorité. Et derrière la frontière les pires traitements sont alors perpétrés et légitimés, contre les autres animaux, les femmes, les ouvrièr-es, les personnes racisées, les peuples colonisés, etc.  La frontière de l'humanité est profondément sociale et politique ; elle a été construite, elle peut donc être déconstruite, défaite, et on a toutes les raisons de vouloir abolir les systèmes de domination qui s'appuient sur elle. Bienvenue dans la 4ème saison de Comme un poisson dans l'eau !  Je suis honoré de recevoir à nouveau l'écrivaine et sociologue Kaoutar Harchi pour la sortie de son ouvrage Ainsi l'animal et nous aux éditions Actes Sud.  Kaoutar Harchi prolonge la réflexion dont elle faisait part dans le premier entretien ensemble, les épisodes 13 et 14 du podcast que vous pouvez réécouter. Son ouvrage est un récit qui détricoque les oppressions, au sens où il montre comment, d'où que l'on parte, tirer sur le fil d'une oppression fait résonner et apparaître d'autres fils dans la toile des dominations. L'ouvrage remonte ce fil historique de la co-construction de ces systèmes de pouvoir en montrant à quel point la domination d'espèce, le spécisme, est toujours là, connecté à toutes les autres questions. C'est à la fois un voyage au fil des siècles et une généalogie du développement des dominations qui sont retissées dans la trame de son récit poignant qui expose tous les liens qui étaient là depuis le début.  C'est brillant, et c'est tellement riche qu'il fallait que je choisisse un angle pour un entretien parce qu'on ne pouvait tout aborder. Alors j'ai décidé de ne pas trop revenir sur la question de l'animalisation qui pourtant est un enjeu central de l'ouvrage mais dont on avait déjà parlé en détail dans le premier entretien, et j'ai préféré mettre la lumière sur certains des intuitions lumineuses et précieuses selon moi de l'autrice, sur des points distincts et plus précis. Me sorprendió comprobar cómo esa imagen “ideal y perfecta” que tenía de Will Smith, como figura de éxito, se desconfirmaba detalladamente en esta biografía, donde se expone de forma vulnerable y transparente, contando muchos momentos controvertidos de su vida y los aprendizajes que ha hecho sobre ellos. Veremos cómo su vida ha estado marcada por la violencia machista, el bullying, la disciplina militar de su padre, la obsesión por el éxito y el resquebrajamiento de sus vínculos familiares.
