Send us a textLink to Healing Through The Savior : Addiction Recovery Programhttps://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/addiction-recovery-program-2023?lang=engWhether you struggle with an addiction or know someone who does, this guide can be a blessing in your life. With permission from Alcoholics Anonymous, the 12 steps have been adapted to include the doctrines, principles, and beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this guide, the steps are presented in order along with a related gospel principle. This guide will help you learn how to apply these steps. No matter what your circumstances are, these steps can help you come unto Christ and receive the blessings of recovery and healing.Addictions may include the use of substances such as tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, and both prescription and illegal drugs. Addictions may also include behaviors such as gambling, viewing pornography, lust, inappropriate sexual behaviors, video gaming, inappropriate technology use, and unhealthy eating. While health care professionals consider addiction a physical disease, the physical aspect is only part of the problem. Addiction affects the mind, body, and spirit, so the solution must address all aspects of the disease. This guide is not specific to any particular addiction. Though people struggle with different types of addiction, many have found a common solution in the path outlined in this guide. It is a workbook and reference for anyone who desires to recover from any type of addiction. This guide is the primary reading material in the addiction recovery support meetings sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Recovery begins when we are honest and admit that we struggle with addiction. For some people, identifying themselves as addicts in recovery meetings helps them to be honest and to remember just how powerful their addiction can be. However, we should be careful that this does not limit our hope or trust in God. If we define ourselves as addicts, we may unintentionally deny the truth that Jesus Christ can heal us and change our very nature. In our recovery, we must all find a balance between being honest about the power of addiction while at the same time trusting that Jesus Christ can restore us to complete spiritual health.****************Song: EmbraceComposer: SappheirosWebsite: No URL availableLicense: Creative Commons (BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com"Sappheiros - Embrace" is under a Creative Commons (BY 3.0) license:https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...https://open.spotify.com/artist/5ZVHX...Music powered by BreakingCopyright: •

This horoscope is for the new moon in Aquarius, which happens on Tuesday, January 29, 2025 at 7:35 a.m. ET.We have been trying to get into a different and better experience of life since 2020. It has kind of worked, but we still feel a little stuck and not entirely there yet.As a result, we are trying to detach from this stuck energy and get a different perspective that will help us to improve our situation. And we are, in fact, doing that. However, we are getting so many different ideas and perspectives that it is hard for us to understand which perspective is the best one what will actually help us to move our situation forward. As a result, we are feeling anxious, nervous, and stuck in the head. We are also feeling a bit scared and negative that the answers aren't coming to us easily.Because of that, we may begin to focus on the wrong perspective and think that we need to do more or work harder in order to get unstuck and get our lives in a better place. However, that is not really what needs to be done. As a result, it may backfire and make us feel even more frustrated and upset than before, as well as a bit angry about our situation. From this frustration, we may then gradually start to realize which idea of the many is the best approach forward. We may gradually start to realize that the best approach is NOT to do more, but to instead DO LESS. We may gradually start to realize that the best approach to get our situation moving is to actually rest, relax, heal, focus on our emotions, and be kind to ourselves and others. It may not work all of a sudden to improve our situation, which could still feel a bit hazy. It could also feel a bit counter-intuitive. However, this approach — if we do it long enough — will eventually work between April-July 2025 to get us into a new experience of life and help to solidify it once and for all. That is because the new life we have been trying to get to since 2020 is NOT one about work, status, money, success, speed, and tradition. This new life we have been trying to get to is one of EASE, PERSONAL EMOTIONAL FULFILLMENT in alignment with our true self, and COMPASSION.Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(0:00) Introduction(1:45) General Themes(6:50) Past Context(28:00) Specifics(54:40) Summary(57:08) Other Notes(1:15:00) Inside Degrees(1:19:30) TarotThe tarot deck I use in this video is the Wild Reflections Tarot by Wyspell.Follow me on Instagram:http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrologyWatch me daily on Horoscope.com:https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspxThe song in my intro and outro video is "Escape" by Sappheiros.License: Creative Commons (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com Hosted on Acast. This horoscope is for the full moon in Cancer, which happens on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 5:26 p.m. ET.Book a reading with me on my website at etherealastrology.com/readings.We are now trying to release some big final things from the past five years that have been keeping us stuck so that we can fully move on into a new and different life that feels more stable and secure. It is actually starting to work out quite well — even though it is a longer process that will take until about April-July 2025 to fully complete. This is an amazing thing! However, we don't want to wait until April-July 2025 to feel secure in a new space of life. That is because we have been waiting long enough to get here. It is also because this in between space feels scary. As a result, we get impatient and try to take matters into our own hands to move this situation along to get to a new life faster and in our own ways. However, these actions fail. That is because these actions are based on our own understanding — and not the Divine's. It is also because we are acting out of fear, not facing things head on, and are still stuck in some old habits. That then makes us feel triggered, exhausted, and stuck, like nothing we do ever works. It also makes us feel confused about what to do to fix this, and unable to rest or be at ease.Because our situation is actually working out quite well (and we are making issues where there are none), we just need to learn to stop trying to force or control the situation — and to instead let God work it out in its own way and divine timing (even if it is not what we expected). We also need to learn to surrender and be patient with this process — and to pursue creative, spiritual, nurturing, healing, and compassionate pursuits to help us feel more at ease throughout it all.Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(0:00) Introduction(1:35) General Themes(7:10) Past Context(28:15) Specifics(58:30) Summary(1:02:25) Other Notes(1:22:50) Inside Degrees(1:30:00) TarotFollow me on Instagram:http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrologyWatch me daily on Horoscope.com:https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspxThe song in my intro and outro video is "Escape" by Sappheiros.License: Creative Commons (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com Hosted on Acast. It is helping us to get more in touch with our heart and soul. It is also helping us to realize that we now need to go back to the past to re-do some old things from this new and better mindset. It is also helping us to get up the courage to do so.But as we start to go back to re-do some old things from this better mindset, we then run into issues. We begin to feel frustrated and upset that we STILL need to go back to resolve old things after all that we have been through. We also feel exhausted like we don't have the energy to do it. We also feel confused about what exactly we will do to fix these old things. In addition, we still have a lot of sad emotions about the past and some of these old things — especially grief around what did or did not happen, and what we did or did not get to experience. That is also making us feel confused and frustrated. It is also making us feel stuck, unsure of what to do next or how — or just simply not want to do it.As a result, we may hesitate or feel at a standstill. But staying still and waiting for things to change on their own isn't going to get us anywhere. We need to go back to the past to fix these old things, even if we don't want to and even if it is messy. We also need to be patient and trust the process as it occurs. We also need to trust more of our intuition and the Divine on how exactly to resolve these old things. It may be difficult at first, but it will get us to where we need to go by next March or May 2025.Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(0:00) Introduction(2:45) General Themes(7:50) Past Context(28:25) Specifics(51:15) Summary(55:45) Other Notes(1:08:25) Inside Degrees(1:15:05) TarotFollow me on Instagram:http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrologyWatch me daily on Horoscope.com:https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspxThe song in my intro and outro video is "Escape" by Sappheiros.License: Creative Commons (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com Hosted on Acast. This horoscope is for the new moon in Sagittarius, which happens on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 1:21 a.m. ET.Book a reading with me on my website at etherealastrology.com/readings.We recently started to do some things that are more fun and in alignment with who we are. As a result, new and better things have started to manifest in our experience that we are very excited about.Because new and better things are beginning to manifest we are excited about, we then get a lot of courage and motivation to continue moving forward in this new direction. But the more we move forward in this new direction, we begin to engage our logical mind about what is or is not possible, or what we should or should not do.That then makes us start to doubt the good things that are happening, worry they will all start to fall apart, and lose hope. That is because some things from the past we don't like are still around. It is also because it doesn't make logical sense that good things are happening when the past few years have been such a struggle. As a result, we begin to feel afraid and over-control all the little details of our situation. We also begin to focus on the wrong things and get more negative. That then causes a lot of confusion and miscommunication. It also makes us feel as though we need to slow down and stop with the passionate forward momentum. That is a bit uncomfortable. But even though we are frustrated and uncomfortable, there is a small inner knowing that is beginning to emerge, telling us that we need to STOP obsessing over the details and instead have MORE FAITH that good things will come of all our actions. That then helps us to feel a bit more at ease in our situation with these new things. It also helps us to adjust a few more things in our experience for the better, perhaps unexpectedly. But the more that things happen and come together, our logical mind is still there — tempting us back into small-minded and fear-based thinking that is too focused on the details. As a result, we need to be aware that our mind may have a tendency to play tricks on us so that we don't let it get the best of us.We may also need to do some inner healing so that we can stay in this place of hope, optimism, and faith — and not get tempted backwards. That will help us do some truly remarkable things that will make all our lives much better by May-June of 2025.Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(0:00) Introduction(1:40) General Themes(6:40) Past Context(25:05) Specifics(53:05) Summary(56:45) Other Notes(1:11:38) Inside Degrees(1:17:34) TarotFollow me on Instagram:http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrologyWatch me daily on Horoscope.com:https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspxThe song in my intro and outro video is "Escape" by Sappheiros.License: Creative Commons (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com Hosted on Acast. This horoscope is for the full moon in Taurus, which happens on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 4:28 p.m. ET.Book a reading with me on my website at etherealastrology.com/readings.At this full moon in Taurus, we are more fully stepping into a new way of life where we act in ways that are shorter, easier, quicker, more fun, and more independent. However, something still feels off about this new approach, like we are not doing it enough, making us feel anxious and nervous. As a result, we (or the people we are connecting with) may act out suddenly and unexpectedly in order to do things in an even MORE quick, easy, fun and independent way. This is a fine thing. However, this may then create a lot of instability and insecurity in our situation. As a result, our daily habits and routines may be thrown into disorder. Our communications with others (especially about this unexpected thing) may also be confusing. Our own thoughts about what do next now that this has happened may also be unclear. We may not know what do next OR we may feel as though what we are doing isn't working. That can then make us feel angry and upset about anything and everything standing in our way of a better life.It may also cause us to lack the necessary boundaries and structures that will help get everything under better control. As a result, I recommend that we do MORE of a different approach to life that is faster, easier, more fun, etc. EVEN IF it creates mass chaos.I also recommend that we trust our intuition (over our logical mind) and have faith everything will eventually work out for the best.I also recommend that we give ourselves a short break from the chaos when need be to collect ourselves, and to put better boundaries in place with our routines and relationships.I also recommend that we be okay with doing things in even more unique and innovative ways that we haven't tried yet. This will then help us in the next few months FINALLY get unstuck and actually create a better life we have been wanting since 2020 — even if it happens in a weird way.Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬(0:00) Introduction(1:30) General Themes(7:30) Past Context(27:40) Specifics(1:00:40) Summary(1:05:20) Other Notes(1:11:30) Inside Degrees(1:23:40) TarotFollow me on Instagram:http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrologyWatch me daily on Horoscope.com:https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspxThe song in my intro and outro video is "Escape" by Sappheiros.License: Creative Commons (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0Music powered by BreakingCopyright: https://breakingcopyright.com Hosted on Acast. We wrap up with concerns about potential changes in storyline following the firing of showrunner Beau DeMayo and discuss how the nostalgic impact of X-Men '97 may differ for original fans.iMDB Synopsis:A band of mutants use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them; they're challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.
There are some celebrities and businesspeople that make where they are from part of their identity. Jay-Z and New York, Mark Wahlberg and Boston, and who can forget Abe Froman the Sausage King of Chicago. But as we embark on our 5th year of doing our show, we are going to pay homage to one of the icons of our city. Ted Turner and Atlanta. Ted followed loosely in his father's footsteps but built a cable empire that changed the way we watched television. While Ted was a pioneer in the television world, he went on to do even more in his conservation efforts. But there has to be some skeletons in that massive, walk-in closet after all these years, right? Ever wonder why so many people are Braves fans in Pocatello, Idaho? And what would you do if your wife turned into a religious fanatic mid-marriage? We'll dive into all this and more in this episode of AHC Podcast.
