For the background I added a NASA image of stars that I altered with colors. Stars across the universe, like our sun, some with the potential for light and love. But it is our earth, and each other which constellates our reality. It is our sun which is the source of light that allows us to live, and to love. This is an episode I've been wanting to do for a good while now and thankfully I managed to make it happen. The human encyclopaedia of the Highland league and long standing servant of Buckie Thistle football Easton agreed to talk to me on his knowledge of Buckie Thistle and the Highland League as a whole! Due to connection issue there is a small part of it the connection/sound is inaudible but we managed to get all of the important stuff! We talked about Easton's entry in to north football and how it began, the numerous positions he has held for Buckie throughout his long association with the club and Easton's general love for the league and the game up north. Other words, such as biological, gender, research, influential, bodies, and war showed up more randomly. I appreciate the texture of the words - and ideas. How they overlap visually and abstractly. KING AMAZIAH of Judah is a classic example of someone whose pride got the better of him. 2 Kings 14 tells us that after Amaziah became king, he led a successful military campaign against Edom. He captured the stronghold of Sela, which was probably Petra in present-day Jordan, defeating an army of some 10,000 Edomites. This led him to provoke a war with the northern kingdom of Israel. Despite a warning from King Jehoash to “be content with your glory, and stay at home,” Amaziah wouldn't listen, the two kingdoms went to war, Judah was defeated, and Amaziah, like his father, fell victim to a palace coup. The parallel chapter in 2 Chronicles 25 reveals that Amaziah brought idols representing the gods of Edom back to Jerusalem and began to worship them, and that this was the reason the king provoked a war with Israel—God used this war to humble Amaziah and those who followed him into pagan worship.

She highlights the work of Dr. Helen Caldicott, among other inspirational anti-nukes feminists. Finally, dive into the song Jezebel that Thistle wrote and recorded over 20 years ago about women's simultaneous bondage and resistance to the patriarchal nuclear age. The Fat Man bomb sits nestled next to the woman, taking up space, like the space that the nuclear war threat occupies in our society and our sensibilities." Thistle & Nest, an affordable housing provider in Bend, says the city’s new tree code isn’t flexible enough and is raising the cost of building new housing in Central Oregon. At one of the affordable housing developments Thistle & Nest is currently building, the code will mean fewer homes get built, according to the organization, which is refusing to submit a tree preservation plan for the site. That challenge is currently being reviewed by a hearings officer and could be appealed to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals. Amy Warren, board president and co-founder of Thistle & Nest, joins us to explain why the nonprofit has decided to challenge the tree code.
