Sun. October 27, 2024: "Master, I Want to See" -Rev. John Kerns, Pastor
In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 21 with verses 13 to 17. Before I get into the study, I talk about Kamala Harris parents. Donald J. Harris is a post-Keynesian economist who has written on Marxist theory. His research focused on economic inequality, uneven development & how the growth rate of an economy is fundamentally dependent on the class structure of society. Meanwhile her mother, Shyamala Gopalan has a very interesting twist. According to Jeff Rense in his article “Kamala's mother ran ‘Planet of the apes' for the MK-ULTRA Assassin Project”, Jeff states that Shyamala was very much involved with MK-ULTRA. Candance Owens in an You-Tube video also discussed the possibility of Shyamal Gopalan working within the MK-ULTRA ProgramListen to me, these people are very evil. They do not have your best interested at heart. They work for the devil and will continue to work for the devil until our Lord and Saviour returnsBeginning with the ninth verse we have a marvelous description of the new Jerusalem. Note that this comes at the conclusion of the prophetic outline. It is a kind of supplementary description. Just as one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues gave to John a vision of Babylon the great (17-18), so here one of the same angels now bids him to come and view the bride, the Lamb's wife. Carrying him away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, the angel shows him that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from Yahweh. Babylon was both a city and a woman-both a great system and a company of people professing to be in bridal relation with the Lamb. So here the holy Jerusalem is both a city and a woman.13. On the east three gates = The city was square as stated in verse 16, and the same number of gates is assigned to each quarter. There does not appear to be any special significancy in this fact, unless it be to denote that there is access to this city from all quarters of the world, and that they who dwell there will have come from each of the great divisions of the earth - that is, from every land, Three = Indicated completeness. Therefore, three is significant of Divine perfection and completeness. 14. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations = It is not said whether these foundations were twelve rows of stones placed one above another under the city, and extending round it, or whether they were twelve stones placed at intervals. And in them = In the foundation of stones. That is, the names of the apostles were cut or carved in them so as to be conspicuousThe names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb = Of the Lamb of Yahweh; the Messiah.15. And he that talked with me = The angel, verse 9. Had a golden reed to measure the city = See Rev. 11:1. The reed, or measuring rod, here, is of gold, because all about the city is of the most rich and costly materials. The rod is thus suited to the personage who uses it, and to the occasion. 16 And the city lieth four-square = It was an exact square. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs = According to the Appendix in the Companion Bible, 1furlong equals 202 yards. So as we multiply 12,000 x 202 we get 2,424,000 yards. Now there are 1760 yards in a mile, therefore we divide 2,424,000 by 1760 and we get 1,377.27273 miles.17. And he measured the wall thereof = In respect to its “height.” Of course, its length corresponded with the extent of the city.An hundred and forty and four cubits = Once again I refer back to the Companion bible where in Appendix 51 it reads a cubit between 21-25 inches. Using 21” multiply by 144 which equals 3,024. Divide that by 12” and you get 252 feet.Have any questions? Feel free to email me; keitner2024@outlook.com
What a challenging – and inspiring – set of readings we have today! In 2nd Kings 22 & 23 we see how Josiah, the last good and righteous king to reign in Jerusalem was inspired by the words that Moses had written when they were discovered in the Temple as it was being restored and cleansed at his command. As a result he instituted great reforms and the removal and destruction of everything that was ungodly. “Before him there was no king like him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses, nor did any like him arise after him.” [ch.23 v.25] We can see how he was truly a type of the Messiah and ponder in awe, as we contemplate the future of our world, the laws that will be put in place when our Saviour, God's Son, becomes king and the law goes forth from Jerusalem into all the world. Not for a few years either – but for a 1,00! See Rev. 20 v.4. Recall the words in Isaiah 2, “For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations …” Our imagination is overwhelmed as we try to visualise the reality of this – and the responsibilities the redeemed will have!. In Ezekiel ch. 12 we read how the people were “saying, ‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing'?” [v.22] These are visions on the judgements coming on Jerusalem! Ezekiel is to “tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD …. The days are near, and the fulfilment of every vision.” [v.23] There is some comparison here with our own anticipations in interpreting prophecy over the last 150 years. The chapter ends, “None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will beperformed, declares the Lord GOD.” In our chapter 8 in Luke we read some familiar parables, but we must not let their very familiarity to us dull their impact on our consciences. The seed of God's word is sown into all kinds of soil – let us keep tilling our minds so we always provide “good soil … For (we – they) are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.” [v.15]
In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 21 with verses 5 to 7. Before I get into the study, I talk about Illegal immigrants, 'justice impacted' individuals among groups who could receive new protections in Minneapolis. So what does ‘justice impacted' mean? I also read from the Prophet Micah (Who is like Yahweh) Chapter 3.In verses 1 and 2 we see the visions of the heavens and the earth. Beginning with verse 3 we are hearing about the voices out of heaven describing the New Tabernacle and how this New Tabernacle will dwell with mankind in this new heaven and earth. We continue with this voice as we go into verses 5 thru 8, with verse 9 showing us the bride!5. And he that sat upon the throne said = Probably the Messiah, the dispenser of the rewards of heaven. Behold, I make all things new = A new heaven and new earth verse 1, and an order of things to correspond with that new creation. The former state of things when sin and death reigned will be changed, and the change consequent on this must extend to everything. And he said unto me, Write = Make a record of these things, for they are founded in truth, and they are adapted to bless a suffering world. For these words are true and faithful = They are founded in truth, and they are worthy to be believed. There is, in the Bible, a series of three great declarations that Yahweh's work is complete. John records each of these declarations in his books. The first one is in John 19:30. At the moment of his death, Yahshua Messiah declared that he had completed his work. He had defeated the devil's power. He had made it possible for Yahweh to forgive the sins (evil deeds) of his people). Then in Revelation 16:17, an angel declared that Yahweh's anger against this world's evil powers was complete. In other words, Yahweh's anger had achieved its purpose. This is the end of the last great series of judgments in the Book of Revelation. This final declaration refers to a time when Yahweh has completed all his promises to his people. They now have the wonderful relationship with Yahweh that he always desired for them. ALPHA is the first letter in the Greek alphabet: OMEGA is the last one. So ALPHA and OMEGA means the beginning and the end. Yahweh is always the same Yahweh; he never changes. He was Yahweh before the world began. He will be Yahweh when all things are complete. All things depend on him.6 And he said unto me = That is, he that sat on the throne - the Messiah. It is done = It is finished, complete; or, still more expressively, “it is” - γέγοναν gegonan.I will give unto him that is athirst = See the Matthew 5:6; John 4:14; 7:37.Of the fountain of the water of life = An image often used in the Scriptures to represent salvation. It is compared with a fountain that flows in abundance, where all may freely slake their thirst.Freely = Without money and without price7 He that overcometh = See Rev.2:7.Shall inherit all things = Be an heir of Yahweh in all things And I will be his Yahweh = That is, forever. He would be to them all that is properly implied in the name of Yahweh; he would bestow upon them all the blessings which it was appropriate for Yahweh to bestow. Just what does Yahweh mean? While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, Yahweh is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (Cp. 2Chron. 18:31). Yahweh means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Gen. 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God/Yahweh of Israel; and the God/Yahweh of those who are redeemed and are thus now "in the Messiah". Rev. Zach Walker concludes the preaching series "Seeing God" with his sermon "Come and See." We live in a world where we can see and learn so much through media. Far flung parts of the world are visible to us. News of struggles and problems that were once trapped now receive a global audience. But what can we do in light of this knowledge? Sometimes, even in today's world, there is no substitute for Jesus calling us to come and see. Our scripture today is John 1:35-39. In this week's study, I finish Chapter 20. Before I get into the study, I talk about the effects of the illegal immigrants crossing our southern border I our school system with the overcrowding of students and how effects classroom learning. Also the cost effects that burdens the tax payers. 9 The final defeat of the devil (Revelation 20:9-10) Zechariah 14:16-19 shows clearly that, at this time, the nations should be coming to Jerusalem. That is what Yahweh has commanded them to do. And they went up on the breadth of the earth = They, those allies with Satan, spread over the earth in extended columns. And compassed the camp of the saints about = Besieged the camp of the saints considered as engaged in war, or as attacked by an enemy. And the beloved city = Jerusalem - a city represented as beloved by Yahweh and by his people. And fire came down from Yahweh out of heaven, and devoured them - Consumed them - fire being represented as devouring or eating. See Rev. 17:1610 Was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone = In Rev. 19:20, it is said of the beast and the false prophet that they were “cast alive into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone.” Satan, on the other hand, instead of being doomed at once to that final ruin, was confined for a season in a dark abyss, Rev. 20:1-3. We now come to the last of these final five judgment scenes— of the Great White Throne.11 And I saw a great white throne, = "great," is distinction from the other thrones mentioned in this book, and that of chapter 4:2-6. That was set "in heaven." This is seen in the last Vision "on earth"; as were also the throne in the fourth verse. From whose face = Or, from whose presence12 And I saw the dead, small and great = All the deadStand before Yahweh = That is, they appear thus to be judged. And the books were opened = That is, the books containing the record of human deeds. And another book was opened, which is the book of life = The book containing the record of the names of all who shall enter into life, or into heaven. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books = The records which had been made of their deeds.According to their works = See the notes on 2Corin. 5:1013 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it = All that had been buried in the depths of ocean.14. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire = Death and Hades (hell) are here personified, as they are in the previous verse.15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. = The book of life was the registry of the approved of Yahweh. The names not found in it were not a part of Yahweh's called and chosen people--they belonged to the society opposed to the church/ek-kelsia.Don't end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.'But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.'Join me as we go Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, Unraveling the Words of Yahweh! In this week's study, I finish up in Chapter 19. Before I get into the study, I discuss some on the Lucifer doctrine within the Freemasonry. I also share an article about Pope Francis and his Lucifer connection.Chapter 19 continues and concludes the final period of events, which is called the bowl period. After the bowl introduction in chapters 12-15, the bowl events began in chapter 16, where we saw all seven bowl events described. However as explained there, chapter 16 was not the conclusion of the bowls. Rather, the description of the bowl period continued into chapters 17 and 18 where the bowl interlude was presented. Here in chapter 19, the bowls continue with a resumption of the seventh bowl event. That is, chapter 19 picks up where we left off at the end of chapter 16. The sixth bowl event in Rev 16:12-16 described nations gathering at Armageddon to make war against Yahweh, and then the seventh bowl event began in Rev 16:17-21 with an enormous earthquake and hail storm. However, it curiously never mentioned the outcome of the war. That glaring deficiency is resolved here in chapter 19.This chapter describes the conclusion of Yahweh's wrath on earth, and it must be considered part of the seventh bowl because Rev 15:1 stated that Yahweh's wrath would be finished in the bowls. Now here is the scene. The armies of the antichrist have surrounded Jerusalem, prepared to engage with their mortal enemy, the warrior king who obviously contests the beast's authority as ruler of the world. Now, there is a possibility—we cannot be dogmatic about this—but there is a possibility that by now the Lord has already returned to the earth and that he is in Jerusalem. Perhaps the army of the redeemed, perhaps we will still be hovering in the sky with the heavenly hosts. We don't know. But whatever the circumstances are, we see that the beast with his vast military might have assembled themselves together here at Megiddo and they are fully intent on engaging the rider of the white horse. 19. And I saw the beast = That beast system of Chapter 13That sat = Who sitteth. on. = ‘epi' uponAgainst him that sat on the horse = Yahshua The Messiah - the Son of Yahweh. And against his army - The hosts that are associated with him - his redeemed people. 20. And the Beast was taken, = These two shall receive special treatment, as described in the next verse. That is, was taken alive, to be thrown into the lake of fire.and with him the False Prophet = As they had been practically associated together, there was a decency that they should share the same fatewho wrought the miracles before him = That is, the false prophet had been united with the beast in deceiving the nations of the earth.with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the Beast, = as written in Rev. 13:16-18. By these miracles they had been deceived and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire = The beast and the false prophet.which burneth with brimstone. = the usual expression to denote intense heat, and especially as referring to the punishment of the wicked. See Rev. 14:10.(21) And the remnant = The remainder of the assembled hosts - the army at large, in contradistinction from the leaders. The battle of Armageddon will be very quick and one-sided. were killed with the sword = Cut down with the swordof him that sitteth upon the horse = The Messiah, verse 11which sword proceedeth out of his mouth: = see verse 15. That is, they were cut down by a word.Have any questions? Feel free to email me; keitner2024@outlook.com
In this week's study, we begin in a new Chapter 18. Before I get into the study, I discuss some new events about the global elite. I get into the change up in Canada where they take out free speech protection for Christians. I talk about the red heifers in Israel that is being protected for the 3rd Temple. And I go over some points in the Luciferian Code. The last verse of chapter 17 closed it by giving the interpretation of the woman as being "that great city." Though the woman is the first thing mentioned in that chapter, yet her interpretation is left till the end, so that the mention of the city may lead on to the account of its destruction, which is the subject of chapter 18. In chapter 17 we have the conflict about that great city in which the seven heads, and ten kings, and "the kings of the earth," and the Beast ("the eighth" king), all take part. But now, the city itself is to be judged as a city.In chapter 18, we continue with the bowl interlude that began in chapter 17. Chapter 17 introduced the figurative harlot named “Babylon” and promised to show us her punishment (Rev 17:1). That promised punishment is seen here in chapter 18, as we see several prophecies of judgment against her. However, it is important to realize that practically all of the judgments prophesied against this future “Babylon” are made by borrowing language from the Old Testament, and that language comes from prophecies that were originally made against the Old Testament kingdom of Babylon that took Israel into captivity. This is significant because it demonstrates the strong parallelism between the Old Testament kingdom of Babylon that attacked Israel, and the future kingdom of Antichrist that will attack the Church.Chapter 18 may be divided into three parts:The judgment pronounced (verses 1-8).The judgment lamented from the world's perspective (verses 9-19).The judgment celebrated from heaven's perspective (verses 20-24).1. Notice the angel coming down from heaven has “great authority.” Naturally he does. He is a messenger of Yahweh. And he now pierces the darkness that envelops the world as a result of the fifth bowl judgment and we read that, “The earth was illumined with his glory.” This is reminiscent of the account of Moses, you will recall, whose countenance continued to radiate the shekinah glory of Yahweh, the resplendent light of divine glory even after he had come down off of the mount as we read in Exodus 34. 2. And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, = in strength with a great voice. Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, = Babylon . . . fallen. See Rev. 14:8. Isa. 21:9. Jer. 51:8. and is become a habitation = kat-oy-kay-tay'-ree-on'. Only here and Eph. 2:22, which reads “In whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of Yahweh through the Spirit.” This is the positive for Yahweh's elect.of demons = demons, supernatural beings. and a hold = prison, or cage, as below. and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird. = cageThe angel says that “She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.” This judgment will be the last judgment of Babylon that was first prophesied all the way back in Isaiah in chapter 21 and verse 9. He speaks of the unclean spirit here in verse 2. That is another name for a demon. These demons are similar to birds of prey hovering over their victims, about to attack with the further implication that they are incarcerated in this place, kept against their will, a place of utter desolation. The book of Lamentations, although a part of OT prophetic books, is not actually a book that tells about prophecy. Instead, it is a compilation of poetic writings that serves as a reflection to a prophecy fulfilled - the destruction of Jerusalem, God's Holy City. The very first chapter invites us to take a tour and see for ourselves the devastation of this once glorious city now turned into rubble. Let us dive into the book of Lamentations and together let us look & see with open eyes and open hearts. In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 17, verses 4 and 5. Once again I go into a rant about the upcoming 2024 WEF spearheaded by Klaus Schwab. I also discuss the article by Pastor Chuck Baldwin in a letter to evangelist's throughout the US on their support of Zionist Israel. This morning we will continue with the angel having this conversation with John on the ‘great whore' sitting on the scarlet colored beast.4 And decked with gold = After the manner of an harlot, with rich jewelry. And precious stones = Sparkling diamonds, etc. And pearls = Also a much-valued female ornament. Read and compare Matthew 7:6;Having a golden cup in her hand = As if to entice lovers. So here we see her depicted in the robes of royalty. She is adorned with all of the trappings of luxury and wealth. Here she is flaunting the success of her whoredom as an expensive prostitute would do. 5 And upon her forehead = In a circlet around her forehead. That is, it was made well-known and public, as if written on the forehead in blazing capitals. In Rev. 13:1 it is said that “the name of blasphemy” was written on the “heads” of the beast."BABYLON THE GREAT," the mother of the harlots and of the abominations of the earth. = Written on the woman's forehead, it was a secret sign or symbol. The woman in Revelation chapter 17 is a word-picture, to mean the greatest city in the world. Even her name is the name of a city, Babylon, which was a great city six centuries before Yahshua Messiah. These verses tell us two things about this symbolic harlot named “Babylon”:1. In some way, “Babylon” gave birth to other harlots (verse 5).2. In some way, “Babylon” is behind abominations, which would include the murder of Christians (verse 6).The mother of harlots = (a) Of that spiritual apostasy from Yahweh which, in the language of the prophets, might be called adultery. See Rev. 14:8.(b) The promoter of lewdness by her institutions. See Rev. 9:21. In both these senses, there never was a more expressive or appropriate title than the one here employed. And abominations of the earth = In the Greek ‘idolatry'. Abominable things that prevail on the earth, Rev. 17:4.This harlot must represent something that is like a harlot from Yahweh's perspective. There are two points to make about the description of her in this passage:1. She is attractive to those seeking worldly pleasures. Obviously, being called a harlot suggests worldly sensual pleasures. Besides that, we see her decked out with gold, precious stones, and pearls, and these things suggest worldly wealth. That she engages with kings and is adorned in purple and scarlet suggest high worldly status. In other words, her customers are people attracted by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life (ref: 1 John 2:15-17).2. She leads people into immorality, provoking Yahweh's wrath. Although she promises pleasures, she ultimately brings about ruin. This is indicated by the cup she holds, which is golden on the outside, but the inside is full of abominations and immorality. The earlier verses mentioned above (Rev 16:19 and Rev 14:8) make it clear that she and her unrepentant “customers” will ultimately face Yahweh's wrath.Join me as we go Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, Unraveling the Words of Yahweh! In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 16 verses 4 to 9. However, once again before I begin I go into this study I go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life, discussing Benjamin Netanyahu comment that he made in March 2015 at Finks Bar in Jerusalem. I talk about Jay Parker and his revelation about Joe Biden worshipping ‘Andras the Marquee of Hell.'How do we know that the events remaining in the 7th Vial – great earthquake, Babylon is judged, mountains and islands are moved and great hail – are what happens at Armageddon? All we have to do is compare them with Ezekiel 38:18-22. Ezekiel 38 is the Battle of Gog and Magog. We compared this with the 7th Vial and found that it was one and the same. In both cases there is a great earthquake, mountains and islands move and there are great hailstones. We definitely know that the items remaining in the 7th Vial are Armageddon! In chapter 11, we saw that the two witnesses in Jerusalem will be prophesying and pronouncing plagues upon the earth during the 1260 days of the great tribulation (Rev 11:3), and those plagues shall do enormous harm to the earth. The plagues will stop when Antichrist finally succeeds in killing the two witnesses (Rev 11:7). In response to their deaths, the unbelieving world bursts into joyous celebration. In their minds, Antichrist will have saved the world. For the unbelieving world, this will be a time of victory, relief, and praise for Antichrist. However, the celebrations will last for just three and one-half days. It ends abruptly when those two witnesses return to life. A voice from heaven calls “Come up here“, the two witnesses ascend into a cloud, and Jerusalem experiences a great earthquake (Rev 11:12-13).The 1260 days in which the two witnesses served on earth corresponds to the 42 months given for Antichrist to reign on earth (Rev 13:5). When the two witnesses ascend to heaven, it marks the conclusion of both (1) their 1260 days of service and (2) Antichrist's 42 months to reign as king.As Antichrist's reign ends, Yahshua Messiah's reign begins (Rev 11:17). The 3rd Vial4. Upon the rivers and fountains of waters - This is an allusion to the first Egyptian plague, Exod.7:20;5 And I heard the angel of the waters say = The angel who presides over the element of water;Thou art righteous, O Lord = In view of the judgments that reddened these streams and fountains with the blood of people, the angel ascribes righteousness to Yahweh.Which art, and wast, and shalt be = That is, who art eternal - existing now; who hast existed in all past time; and who will exist ever onward. See Rev. 1:8.6 they = those who had the mark and worshipped the imageFor they have shed the blood of saints = The nations here referred to. They have been engaged in scenes of bloody persecution, and this is a just reward. Once again this is those that worked for Satan in the role of the 2 world beast system, the New World Order and the False religion. And prophets = Teachers of Yahshua Messiah; ministers of truth. The Fourth Vial 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun = Toward the sun, or so as to reach the sun9 And men were scorched with great heat = Burned with rage against the followers of Yahshua Messiah;Join me as we go Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, Unraveling the Words of Yahweh! In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 15 verses 2 and 3. Before I begin, to go into this study I once again go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life. I talk about the attack on Israel and how BLM supports the case for the Hamas. I share with the listeners an article by Pastor Chuck Baldwin titled “What Does the Hamas/Israeli War Portend for Bible Prophecy'. Chapter 15 is the final chapter and the climax of the “Introduction to the Bowls”, which began with chapter 12.The angels of verse 1 are prepared to deliver Yahweh's wrath. However, before proceeding directly into the wrath, we see a pause in order to make a point: Yahweh's wrath is justified. For in them is filled up the wrath of Yahweh = That is, in regard to the beast and his image. All the expressions of the divine indignation toward that oppressive and persecuting power will be completed or exhausted by the pouring out of the contents of these vials. What is about to happen is great and marvelous because the unholy trinity of the dragon and of the beast and the false prophet, along with all who worship them are about to be judged. 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass = In Rev. 4:6, a similar vision is recorded - “And before the throne there was a sea of glass, like unto crystal.”In Chapter 13 we read of that politically beast rising out of the sea. Can we say that is the negative of Yahweh's plan?Mingled with fire = That is, a portion of the sea was red like fire. It was not all clear and transparent, as in Rev. 4:6, but it was as it were a checkered expanse, composed in part of what seemed to be glass, and in part of a material of a red or fiery color. And them that had gotten the victory over the beast = Rev. 13:11. they who had gained a victory in times of persecution and temptation; or they whom the “beast” had not been able, by the arts or by force, to subdue. And over his image = See Rev. 13:14-15. that they had not been led to apostatize by the dread of the power represented here by the “image of the beast.”And over his mark = See Rev. 13:16. Over all the attempts of the religious beast to fix his mark upon them, or to designate them as his own.And over the number of his name = See Rev. 13:17-18. Over all the attempts to fix upon them that mysterious number which expressed his name.Victory, Beast, Image and Name = 4 items, those being of the earth, for the number 4 is symbolic of earth.Stand on the sea of glass = That is, before Yahweh. They are now seen in heaven, redeemed and triumphant.Having the harps of Yahweh = Harps that pertained to the worship of Yahweh; harps to be employed in his praise. See Rev. 14:2.These “victorious” ones are the saints who were described earlier in this bowl introduction (Rev 12:11).Now will you notice also the text says, “Those who had come off victorious from the beast and from his image and from the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of Yahweh.” Now this is a picture of the saints who have been saved during the tribulation and are martyred for their faith, yet those who have triumph over the beast, over the antichrist. This is a picture of those who refused to bow to his image nor would they wear the number of his name. So we have seen a sign great and marvelous and a sea of consuming fire and, thirdly, we see and hear a song of triumphant deliverance in verse 3.The song which is sung in this Sixth Vision is both old and new, for it is the song of Moses and of the LambJoin me as we go Chapter by Chapter, Verse by Verse, Unraveling the Words of Yahweh! In this week's study, I continue in Chapter 14 beginning with verse 10.The Fifth Vision "On Earth"14:6-20 The Six Angels and the Son of ManRemember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Don't listen to man's tradition, but Yahweh's true Word! “Know His Word personally on the earth”In our last study we covered in verse 8 about Babylon the great city is fallen. But did you know some history on this city or the area surrounding it?In verse 9 we discovered John revealing to us a 3rd angel giving us a warning about those that worship the beast and his image or receive his mark in their forehead or hand. Now in verse 10 we read of the consequences of those that the 3rd angel warns us about! Drink = In that he says, "he also shall drink," he shows that there is another also who has drunk, so as not to exclude him who, although he is not visibly mingled with the nations, yet worships the beast under the name of Yahshua Messiah. 10. the same = now this is said with emphasizes. “He also shall drink'wine of ... wrath of God = Read Psa. 75:8). ‘For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.”without mixture = whereas wine was so commonly mixed with water that to mix wine is used in Greek for to pour out wine; this wine of Yahweh's wrath is undiluted; there is no drop of water to cool its heat. There is no grace or hope is blended with it. Shall be tormented with fire and brimstone = An allusion to the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrha for their unnatural crimes.11. smoke = always used symbolic for judgment. Read Isa. 34:8-10. ‘For it is the day of Yahweh's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.' And whosoever receiveth the mark of his name - See Rev. 13:17. The meaning here is, that such worshippers will receive the punishment which other idolaters and sinners do. No exception will be made in favor of an idolater, though he worships idols under the forms of an abused Christianity; none will be made in favor of a sinner because he practiced iniquity under the garb of religion.12. Here, etc. = resumed from Rev. 13:10. In the fiery ordeal of persecution which awaits all who will not worship the beast, the faith and patience of the followers of Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah shall be put to the test, and proved.patience of the saints = Greek, “hupomene,” “patient, persevering endurance.”Patience = Although the beast has vented his rage, yet the saints are not made sad by the earthly suffering, which is to be rewarded by eternal bliss. For they see, on the other hand, that their persecutors, who for a time act proudly, suffer eternal punishments with the beast. In this week's study, I go into Chapter 9, the 5th Trumpet. In our last study we finished Chapter 8th with an angel/eagle crying with a loud voice Woe, Woe, Woe. In today's study we begin with the 5th trumpet. Woe, woe, woe = That is, there will be great woe. The repetition of the word is intensive, and the idea is, that the sounding of the three remaining trumpets would indicate great and fearful calamities. These three are grouped together as if they pertained to a similar series of events, as the first four had been.We will see that the 1st woe would be this 5th trumpets, whereas the 2nd woe begins in Chapter 9 verse 13 with the 6th (note man's number) trumpet and ends in Chapter 11verse 14 AFTER the resurrection of the 2 witnesses. The 3rd woe perhaps we are to see the answer in Chapter 12 verse12, “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Or does the 3rd woe begin at the sounding of the 7th trumpet.1. star = The star (or angel) had fallen from heaven before John saw it.From = “ek” out from. So this “star” definitely fell from Heaven.the bottomless pit = Greek, “the pit of the abyss”; the orifice of the hell where Satan and his demons dwell. "The pit of the abyss" appears to be the abode of demons. See Rev. 20:1-3; Luke 8:28, 31. Of the under-world, considered particularly of the abode of the wicked.2. pit = this opens every evil spirit on earth.Could this be the pit/hell, the ‘geenna' that Yahshua Messiah makes mention of in the Gospels? Matthew 11:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Mathew 11:23, “And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.” Matthew 23:33, “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”smoke = associated with “judgment or the pit”. From that source came forth some influence, symbolized by smoke, which darkened the earth. Could the smoke be also the vehicle that the locusts ride on? We can compare this smoke, which is negative to the types of clouds, which are positive, that are used for Yahweh. The sun was darkened = We can say spiritually the light of faith, which is the word of Yahweh, may well be represented by the sun, according to that of the Psalms 119: 105, "Thy word, O Yahweh, is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths."3. out of smoke = remember that smoke is always symbolic of judgment. So we can see judgment upon the people of this earth from the wrath of Yahweh.locusts = Satan's army. Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” The destroying locusts symbolize destroying armies.power = “ex-oo-see'-ah” authority or delegated power;4. And it was commanded them = John does not say by whom this command was given, but it is clearly by someone who had the direction of them.Have any questions? Today we will be looking a Psalm 9 and thinking about how our God is the righteous judge of all the earth. The title of this Psalm tells us that David is the writer. But we can't be sure when he wrote it or what was the occasion that motivated him to write it. The commentators have dozens of various opinions and speculations as to the specifics as to why and when it was written. The most common view is that “the Death of the Son” is referring to the victory God gave David over Goliath, and years later when David as king of Israel is dealing with Israel's national enemies, he is reminding himself of God's righteous judgment that will take care of them too. The emphasis of this Psalm 9 is on joyful praise. Read verses 1, 2, 11, and 14. “I will praise you…” (v. 1). “I will be glad and rejoice in you…”(v. 2). “I will sing praises to your name…” (v. 2). “Sing praises to the LORD…” (v. 11). “That I may tell of all your praise…” (v. 14). David was assured, that in the midst of all his troubles and his enemies, that his greatest defense was a joyful heart full of praise for his righteous God! In this Psalm we especially see the emphasis on God's care of Israel and His righteous judgment on the nations that attacked His people. You find the theme of judgment and justice in verses 4, 7-8, 16 and 19-20. “You sat on the throne judging in righteousness” (v. 4). “But the LORD shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness” (vv. 7-8). “The LORD is known by the judgment He executes”(v. 16). The chapter ends with this plea from David, “Arise, O LORD, Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O LORD, That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah” (Psalm 9:19-20). This prophetic prayer and plea is not only a cry of David for his present situation, but it also looks forward to the day when the Lord Jesus Christ will return to the earth at the end of the Tribulation with the armies of heaven to defeat all His enemies. We are reminded that there has been an epic battle being waged ever since the Lord spoke the words recorded in Genesis 3:15, when God said there would be enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Ever since there has been a war going on between the forces of Satan and the forces of God. In Genesis 12:1-3, when God called Abram to become the father of the nation of Israel, that would give us the Bible and produced the Messiah, the focus of this conflict has been on the nation of Israel. (See Rev. 12.) That battle goes on today. Since as believers, we are spiritually Abraham's seed, we face daily warfare with these evil forces! Psalm 9 is a great assurance that our God is a righteous judge, and we are on the winning side! You can put your trust in Him (v. 10). God bless!

Jesus does more miracles in Mark's Gospel than in any of the other Gospels. But this particular miracle takes a little extra. Jesus opens the eyes of one who cannot see, or tries to, but his sight is still blurry. So, Jesus tries again. Thank goodness, Jesus is persistent. Our scripture reading is Mark 8:22-26. Rev. Tom Are preaches that Mark 5:1-20 is one of the strangest stories in Mark's Gospel. There is a man described as being possessed by a legion of demons. It's hard to know exactly what that means, but the consequence is that to his community he is as good as dead. But when Jesus comes to him, he looks through the chaos and sees a human being. Jesus gives this demon-possessed outcast his life back, or better said, he gives him a life he never knew he had. Some might call it resurrection. THE PRE-EXISTENT ROLE OF WOMEN, Chapter 9 of Kingdom of God Volume 1 Pages 91 to 96 To be a priestess queen upon thy Heavenly Father's throne, and a glory to thy husband and offspring, to bear the souls of men, to people other worlds (as thou didst bear their tabernacles in mortality) while eternity goeth and eternity cometh; and if thou wilt receive it, lady, this is eternal life. (John Taylor, “Origin and Destiny of Women,” as quoted in Marriage Covenant, Kraut, p. 25) Continuing along the lines of the previous chapter on representation, women are often considered as representatives of many wonderful attributes: love, kindness, emotion, caring, mercy, creation, life, endurance, and jewels in a man's crown. The scriptures speak of the Zion of the Lord and the New Jerusalem as being like the bride of Christ. (See Rev. 18:23, 21:2.) The role and duties of women in the pre-mortal world is much different from that of the men. It is quite similar to wars on earth when men to go battle and the women usually remain at home. Very few women get involved with war in mortality, and they didn't over there either.

New Covenant and Eternal Life“ ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me willlive even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me willnever die' ” (John 11:25, 26, NASB).There are two dimensions to eternal life. The present dimensionbrings to the believer an experience of the abundant life now (John10:10), which includes the many promises that we have been given forour lives now.The future dimension is, of course, eternal life—the promise of theresurrection of the body (John 5:28, 29; John 6:39). Though still in thefuture, that is the one event that makes everything else worth it, the oneevent that caps all our hopes as Christians.Study the verse for today. What is Jesus saying here? Where is eternallife found? How do we understand His words that those who liveand believe in Him, even if they die, will never die? (See Rev. 2:11;Rev. 20:6, 14; and Rev. 21:8.)_____________________________________________________Of course, we all die, but according to Jesus, this death is only asleep, a temporary hiatus that—for those who believe in Him—willend in the resurrection of life. When Christ returns, the dead in Christwill rise immortal, and the living followers of Christ will, in the twin-kling of an eye, be changed into immortality. Both the dead and theliving who are Christ's will possess the same kind of resurrection body.Immortality begins at that time for God's people. What a great joy to know now that our end is not in the grave but thatthere is no end, that we will have a new life that lasts forever.“Christ became one flesh with us, in order that we might becomeone spirit with Him. It is by virtue of this union that we are to comeforth from the grave—not merely as a manifestation of the power ofChrist, but because, through faith, His life has become ours. Those whosee Christ in His true character, and receive Him into the heart, haveeverlasting life. It is through the Spirit that Christ dwells in us; and theSpirit of God, received into the heart by faith, is the beginning of thelife eternal.”—Ellen G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 388.In what ways can we now enjoy the benefits of eternal life? Inother words, what does this promise do for us now? Write downsome of the benefits this promise of eternal life gives to you, per-sonally, in your day-to-day life. How could you take this hope andpromise and share it with someone who is struggling, perhapswith the death of a loved one?

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... God brings scriptures to our attention to encourage us. When this happens, those scriptures are chosen by God for us to fit our need. For example: In Pam Padgett's more recent need, God gave her this scripture: Psa. 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye. In my most recent need, God gave me: Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. It is important to collect the scriptures which God brings to our mind and keep them before us day and night (for a season) to strengthen us and encourage us in our assignments. As individuals, our needs at this point in time differ, but God fills those needs in our lives by calling to our attention scriptures or dreams which we need to keep before us. I will share with you a few of my personal collection of scriptures which I keep on my Kindle photo album for easy access. I usually go over these scriptures daily to help me in the faith and to strengthen me in the assignment God has given me while HE keeps me on this present earth. This may shock you, but I find it even harder today to keep the faith and do the work of God than it was 40 years ago. I believe this means the sins of people and the attack of devils has increased because we draw closer to the return of Jesus. (See: Rev. 12:11-13) Therefore I find that I need to do even more meditating in scriptures, for the time of Jesus' return draws nearer. Further Thought: “Only by the direct interposition of God could the shadow on the sundial be made to turn back ten degrees; and this was to be the sign to Hezekiah that the Lord had heard his prayer. Accordingly, ‘the prophet cried unto the Lord: and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.’ Verses 8–11.”—Ellen G. White, Prophets and Kings, p. 342.“The visit of these messengers from the ruler of a faraway land gave Hezekiah an opportunity to extol the living God. How easy it would have been for him to tell them of God, the upholder of all created things, through whose favor his own life had been spared when all other hope had fled! . . .“But pride and vanity took possession of Hezekiah’s heart, and in self-exaltation he laid open to covetous eyes the treasures with which God had enriched His people. The king ‘showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.’ Isaiah 39:2. Not to glorify God did he do this, but to exalt himself in the eyes of the foreign princes.”—Pages 344, 345.Discussion Questions:How is Satan like the Assyrian rabshakeh? Does he tell the truth when he says that you have sinned (Zech. 3:1)? How does God respond? (See Zech. 3:2–5.) What is our only hope against these accusations? (Rom. 8:1.)Does Satan stop his accusations when you are forgiven? (See Rev. 12:10.) After you are forgiven, when Satan goes on saying that you belong to him because of your sin, what is the nature of his accusation? (See Deut. 19:16–21: law of a lying, malicious witness.)Summary: In response to the cry of a faithful king, God saved His people and showed who He is: the omnipotent King of Israel who controls the destiny of earth; not only does He destroy those who attempt to destroy His people but He also provides opportunities for others, no matter how “Babylonian,” to become His people
What is the Messiah like? Nathanael is invited to "come and see" Jesus for himself. We are also invited through the witness of the church to see Jesus and hear an invitation to come and follow him. Scripture: John 1:43-51
