This week, we're going to try something new. We're pivoting to salads. Starting off with a trio of classic Caesar, a nice watermelon/mint/feta salad for the summer, and one with like roasted squash and arugula or whatever, probably like some pepitas that sounds good. I dunno man, podcasting is hard, we're feeling like salads might be more interesting to people. Sound off in the comments if you agree. On this week's delicious mix: kind words, supercomputer-ly generated words, and words from THE FUTURE.VERSUS: If You Ain't Bleedin', You Ain't Wipin'™Show notes and credits

He has also appeared in numerous films including BOWFINGER, THE HEARTBREAK KID, LOWER LEARNING, FAST & FURIOUS, ROBBING PETER, DREAM, THE RUNAWAYS, IRON MAN 2, THE KID & I, DELTA FARCE, SHELTER, and most recently as Nacho in the multi-award winning SAMLAND. Also on Episode 76, Wendi and Dfernando do some catching up after a short hiatus and some new announcements: Season 8 of RENO 911! premieres on the Roku Channel and Season 3 of BIG CITY GREENS premieres on Disney Channel (and a Season 4 has been confirmed!). Plus a little behind-the-scenes moment during the filming of an episode THE GOLDBERGS concerning the song "Hard Habit to Break" by the band Chicago. On THE RIPE REPORT, Dfernando mentions the new HBO Max series THE GILDED AGE, created by Julian Fellowes (of DOWNTON ABBEY), starring Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Louisa Jacobson and a huge roster of Broadway luminaries. You can't ignore my techno. In the SEVENTY-SIXTH episode of Popular Music: The Podcast, Analise picks one of her all-time (all-time!) favorite songs to cover in honor of her birthday - “Synthesizer” by Detroit-based rock band, Electric Six! You’ll hear about the band’s many iterations of members, their bizarre lyric-writing method (Dick Valentine holds his BREATH till he just blurts stuff out?!), and why their unique blend of rock ‘n’ roll disco, combined with their “profoundly absurd/absurdly profound” lyrics will make them the band you never knew you needed, but always had this whole time (they have a butt-load of records out, guys - time to get with the program). No guilt. Only pleasure. Popular Music is a pop music podcast hosted by Steven Ray Morris and Analise Nelson. New episodes every Monday.
