God's wisdom is required for Holy Spirit victory. Scripture identifies wisdom from above AND wisdom from below. Understanding the Hebrew letters will help you succeed where others flail and fail. Greetings Village! #DailyAfricanProverbs takes us to #Kenya The Proverb says: "When you take a knife away from a child, give him a piece of wood instead." The Kenyan proverb speaks volumes about the power of positive reinforcement. It encourages parents to replace negative behavior with something more constructive and helps instill in children an appreciation for process and craftsmanship. Giving young ones an alternative outlet to express themselves enables them to develop physical skills and problem-solving abilities. Ultimately, this proverb serves as an essential lesson in parenting and as a reminder that discipline need not always involve taking something away; you can use positive reinforcements as well. Use Wisdom to Guide Your Words by Valley Real Life
Please enjoy this podcast on the subject topic: Use Wisdom! I'm sure after listening to this Podcast, we can agree that Wisdom is so very necessary. In my study time, I've often thought about how God describes wisdom. I laugh because He has mentioned wisdom like a tall, strikingly beautiful, dressed to the nine's woman with a crown of glory on her head. What a remarkable sight to behold. We can look to God to obtain the presence from this beauty for a lifetime to allow her to promote us if we embrace her. We can't deal with relationships without wisdom. We're all on a journey in life, this journey requires wisdom so that we don't get shipwrecked or sidelined. Listen intently and be intentional about asking God for wisdom. Be sure to get an understanding in all your getting in life. Remember that God is available to lead and guide you with His Holy Spirit. Endeavor to reach new heights of wisdom as you age in life and don't for the One who is able to give you Great Wisdom to use. Thanks for tuning in. Tune in every Thursday for Heart Talks and the inspirational message. God Bless and keep you is my prayer. One of the main aspects of Inquiry, or the act of asking beneficial questions to take care of yourself, is to do it without judgment. Asking precise guiding questions is how you can take care of yourself, despite your feelings. In this episode of Awareness that Heals, Robert Strock takes us through a few moments of his life. He shares how his own Inquiry and the subsequent guidance he continues to develop has helped him empathize more strongly with people around him, including his podcast co-host and partner at the Global Bridge Foundation, Dave, through some recent emotional events. Awareness of challenging personal emotions is the first step to learning how to deal with them. It is important to note that being kind and empathetic to yourself is central to guiding yourself with a difficult feeling no matter where you're starting from. It is essential to hear and support yourself through greater tolerance and acceptance. But the idea is to be kinder toward yourself even in difficult moments when you have no clarity or understanding. Once you develop the intrinsic motivation to understand your feelings and introspect to take care of yourself better, you will be more in tune with your mind and emotions. Realizing what you're feeling and putting a name to your emotions is one of the first steps to developing wisdom guidance. Wisdom guidance and intrinsic motivation to take care of yourself and those around you are what will help you expand your quality of life, allowing you to live with greater fulfillment and naturally support those around you. Read the transcription and listen to this episode at Awareness That Heals.

GROW Greatness Reached over Oppression through Wisdom Booker T. Washington, an Eloquent African Speaker full of Godly Wisdom. No wonder, so many Schools are named after him.Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt were advised by an invited Booker T. Washington, to be the first African invited to the White House. An eloquent African Speaker full of Godly WisdomThe news was incensed! For instance, the next afternoon, the Memphis-Scimitar reported:“The most damnable outrage which has ever been perpetrated by a citizen of the United States was committed by the President, when he invited a n****r to dine with him at the White House… It would not be worth more than a passing notice if Theodore Roosevelt had sat down to dinner on his own time with a Pullman car porter, but Roosevelt the individual and Roosevelt the President are not to be viewed in the same light.”Letters poured into the White House full of anger and menace. A U.S. Senator from South Carolina proposed a retaliatory measure: “The action of President Roosevelt in entertaining that n****r will necessitate our killing a thousand n****rs in the South before they will reach their place again.”Men swore never to vote for Roosevelt in future elections.Soon after the dinner, Roosevelt received an honorary doctorate from Yale University, along with famed novelist Mark Twain. Booker T. Washington was also present at this event. Roosevelt spoke to Twain and asked the novelist for his opinion on the controversial matter. Twain replied “that a President was perhaps not as free as an ordinary citizen to entertain whoever he likes.”Reports had been circulating that Roosevelt and Washington would be dining together again. Security was tightened for the President at Yale because of the ordeal and the President was not allowed to “work the crowds”. In addition, at the event, no public mention of the White House dinner was made. Booker T. Washington was also pointedly seated far away from the President.A few days later, Roosevelt made a public statement about the “infamous” dinner. True to his no-nonsense style, he simply said, “I shall have him to dine as often as I please.”See how far we have come?Look at the Oppression; All Races are Criticaland that's no TheorySow Love, GROW

Using wisdom in your body means you embrace what you need most. In our podcast, we consider how to connect with your body. When you choose to move, you're making decisions to pivot or shift. You explore how you feel - and do more of what helps you and less of what hurts. With wisdom, you incorporate reason and emotion. And you consider what you are learning as you choose to continue or stop. How does wisdom show up in your body?
"Death and Life are in the Power of The Tongue". Legitimately, the things that you say, are VERY serious. Don't just go around running your mouth!!

Use GODLY wisdom and not worldly wisdom
Since the world has been enduring a pandemic, many believers have been urged "to use wisdom" as they go about their daily lives. This sounds good. However, most times, when the phrase "use wisdom" is spoken, it really is fear wrapped in a package called wisdom. In today's Faith Chat, I discuss how to properly use wisdom, not from fear, but from faith. Link: Partnership

In this video I share an intro on how to get out of debt without following a rigid, conventional-thinking system. By using out-of-box thinking and focusing on principles, I think you can tackle debt in a more effective and healthy manner. The debt breakdown of the example in this video is: auto loan - $24,000 student loans - $35 + $7k credit card debt - $14,000 401k loan - $20,000 Example of rigid, conventional thinking: 1. Written budget every month 2. Sell everything in sight 3. Work all the time (2-3 extra jobs, both couple), no eating out, no vacations. Contrast that with principle-based thinking: 1) Embrace minimalism - reduce desires/wants, lower spending as a result 2) Make war on debt. This will trigger lots of ideas. 3) Use Wisdom and creativity to build income. Please share this video with others on Reddit, Facebook groups, and forums. Life After God - (Ecclesiastes 8:1-17) Use Wisdom but Know Its Limitations by Sonrise Church
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." -Matthew 6:24

This week's guest - Chip Conley - takes me back full circle to my time at the University of Pennsylvania where I studied applied psychology in graduate school. I remember reading Chip's book, Emotional Equations, and thinking that everything I thought I knew about well-being and happiness needed to be re-calibrated. What I really love about Chip is that his books are not academic tombs with no relevance. They are grounded in his experience as a hotelier entrepreneur for 26 years and more recently, as a strategic advisor to the founders of Airbnb. Chip has a brand-new book, Wisdom at Work – launching in Sept. It's a great read on how you can leverage wisdom that comes from experience to stay relevant at work or to pivot to something new and different. This was such a fun conversation, full of insights and concrete habits we can adopt ... you don't want to miss it! Listen at http://nextyearnowpodcast.com/47
