In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the best Diamondbacks to the table for discussion. Diamondbacks had one pretty good stint to the World Series but other than that, they really haven't been the best franchise even though they have a pretty good name for the location of the team. They've had a few good players come through the town, but they don't have the resume of like a Boston or New York. If you're curious wondering who could be on this team well just press that play button and have our team here educate you in the ways of the Diamondbacks. Have a great day and we'll see you all next week.... Peace.

The two unions representing faculty and staff at Portland Community College have been on strike since March 11. It’s the first ever strike at a community college in Oregon. Instructors and staff are negotiating for higher cost-of-living and salary increases, among other issues. With the spring term scheduled to start March 30, the negotiations could delay classes, many of which have taken place remotely or been canceled due to the strike. Ben Cushing is a faculty member in sociology and president of the PCC Federation of Faculty and Academic Professionals. Aaron Hill is the college’s interim associate vice president for finance. They both join us to talk about where negotiations stand.

Once a high growth, high margin line of business for health plans, Medicare Advantage (MA) is now in the middle of a financial reset. Growth has slowed, margins have turned negative, and federal financial support is eroding — with CMS proposing a near flat reimbursement increase for 2027. As a result, plans are exiting markets, tightening benefit designs, and shifting their focus toward Special Needs Plans (SNPs). At the same time, seniors are facing rising costs, fewer perks, and more frequent plan changes. To cut through the noise and understand what's really happening beneath the headlines, host Rachel (Rae) Woods speaks with Advisory Board experts Sally Kim and Aaron Hill about the new divide emerging in MA: between plans equipped to manage the intensive needs of high cost seniors and execute on SNP strategies — and those that will be forced to exit markets or rethink their MA ambitions entirely. Listen as they break down how MA's financial and clinical headwinds are reshaping payer–provider relationships — and why future success depends on disciplined focus, deeper provider partnerships, and new investments in technology and cross benefit management. He discusses the evolution of his understanding of resilience, the importance of self-discovery, and the role of difficult conversations in personal growth. Aaron also emphasises the significance of setting boundaries, challenging beliefs, and the impact of support from mentors You'll hear why: Resilience is the ability to learn and adapt from challenges. Coping mechanisms can include exercise and distractions like alcohol. Self-discovery is a continuous journey that evolves over time. Treatments like cell and gene therapies (CGTs) and GLP-1s are transforming care, but with double-digit growth in drug spend year over year, this transformation comes with an unsustainable price tag. And it's putting pressure on every part of the healthcare ecosystem, from patients and providers to employers and health plans. The strategies that purchasers have used to manage drug spend in the past are no longer getting the job done. But when our Advisory Board experts set out to find the innovators creating new ways to rein in spend, they came up empty. Purchasers appear to be stuck in a “wait and see” pattern—but no silver bullets are coming. This week, host Abby Burns invites Advisory Board experts Chloe Bakst, Aaron Hill, and Amanda Okaka to discuss the drivers behind rising drug costs and why traditional cost-saving strategies are falling short. They provide actionable guidance on how purchasers and plans can modernize their approach to utilization management and make moves toward integrating pharmacy and medical benefits in order to manage total cost of care—in other words, move toward value. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why drug spend is rising unsustainably Why the current efforts to improve drug affordability are helping, but not enough What it would look like to bring traditional strategies to manage spend into the 2020s What's on the horizon: the move toward tying drug spend to value We're here to help: How purchasers are tackling the affordability crisis of high-cost drugs 4 ways pharma can improve partnerships for cell and gene therapy delivery Cell and gene therapy programs: How to launch, optimize, and deliver CGTs sustainably Health Technology Pipeline (HTP) Survey insights: What to know about the clinician workforce today A transcript of this episode as well as more information and resources can be found on RadioAdvisory.advisory.com.

The final (critical) piece to the 2024 Packers coaching staff has been added. Introducing new Strength and Conditioning Coach, Aaron Hill.
