For God’s Glory Alone Ministries is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are dedicated to serving the body of Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching and commentary of current events.
This past week I officiated another funeral. Sometimes the weight becomes to much for me. I carry the spiritual weight of many. I also went to the hospital to visit a young lady who has a terminal illness. A prayer burden is a heaviness of heart and emotion, a spirit of mourning or feeling of restlessness. We cannot find a way to shift ourselves from a problem or need that has come our way. One of my heroes, Smith Wigglesworth would carry the burdens of many, and at times would moan and groan trying to go to sleep after one of his revival serves. Sharon has to help me at times to give it all to the Lord. I am like you, I ma not a machine, I cannot turn off my love for people by flipping a switch. Without the love of my life, Sharon I would not to do well.
This morning I want to share with you the importance if true friendship. I am referring to 1 Samuel. The relationship between David and Jonathan. They had a very good friendship. A good model for us all. Lets dive into this Christian friendship and see what we can learn..........
Yesterday Sharon and I attend the memorial service for our precious friend and mentor Pastor Don Kimbro. I do not have the words to really tell you the impact he has had on my life. I met Don about 20 years ago He helped me so much over the years with his godly wisdom and love. He helped guide me in my management of KKIM radio and he had left his imprint on FGGAM from the start. Such a wise man. We need more Don's and Dorothy's. They modeled what marriage is to be. If you did not know Don, I wish you had. His writings have been top reads over the years here at FGGAM, they live on here at FGGAM for as long as we are here. One of the hymns that was sung at Don's memorial was ‘Give me Jesus' In the morning, when I rise In the morning, when I rise In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus Give me, Jesus Give me Jesus You can have all this world But give me Jesus And when I am alone Oh, and when I am alone And when I am alone, give me Jesus And when I come to die Oh, and when I come to die And when I come to die, give me Jesus Until we meet again Don……… The man did did not seek fame, he had no ego, he was here to serve God and all people in such a loving way. Read Don's Writings Here Don and Dorothy have made this world a better place. How about you and me? What will be our legacy? Pastor Don Kimbro's Obituary
Todays message comes from Acts 9:1-20 How does God get our attention? Adversity Saul was traveling to Damascus where he intended to being great persecution up Christians. Scripture tells us that Saul was 'breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. Acts 9:1. It seemed that his cruel mission consumed him.
Jesus is my Savior By Clara Nelson of Windom, Minnesota Jesus is my Savior He wants to be yours too Jesus is my savior he is so kind and true Admit that your a sinner Turn to Him today Jesus is my Savior He is the only way
What happens when we Praise God? This message is based on Psalms 150:1-6 There is no book in the Bible that exemplifies the spirit of God that the book of Psalms. God tells us to give Him thanks in everything. (1 Th 5:18) 5:18) Even when things go bad for us. Psalm 150: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Dr. Ryan Denison on the Doomsday Clock: The official statement from the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists warns that “leaders and citizens around the world should take this statement as a stark warning and respond urgently, as if today were the most dangerous moment in modern history. Because it may well be.” Read more at FGGAM.ORG Today I want to share with you about doubt, fear, anxiety and anger, These problems are affecting many throughout the world! Many! Maybe even you. The answer is JESUS! JESUS! I saw on the news the other night that many young people are not interested in voting in the upcoming election because they do not care for any of the candidates. Politics is not the answer, JESUS! JESUS! Doomsday would be not having Jesus in your heart and soul, that would mean going to hell. Contact me below and I will help you if you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Amen! We love you! We care for you! pastordewey@fggam.org
What role does obedience play in your life? How do you start your day? Are you a mature Christian? Do you seek the face of God when you wake up? Do you have a passion to know the Bible? Do you call on the Holy Spirit? Do you have a passion to receive direction from God? Who directs you life? You?
I know that there are many of you hurting out there in radio land. This morning I want to share with you on Brokenness and the way to blessing. This morning I got a call from a friend letting me know that a family that attended one of the Churches that I pastored at from time to time has been split up, divided, from divorce. Broke my heart. I think of the precious children in what they may be going through.....Brokenness....we must focus our hearts on JESUS......
Good morning! So blessed to be with you today. Please turn your Bibles to Zephaniah 3:17 Many people had a tough time during the Christmas season because of various things. I want to speak to that today. Charles Stanley once wrote: The Peace of God is the Fruit of Oneness with God. Do you have oneness with God?
Merry Christmas folks from Sharon and I. This morning I want to share with you the Word of God .....Let is turn our Bibles to Matthew 1:18.....This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about. Hos mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. Did you know that? A recent polling shows many Americans do not.........
Good Morning, I have had so many people coming up to me in the last few weeks saying, "I cannot do this anymore....or I am so very tired" I can relate to that pain. We are probably living in the most stressful time since World War II. The world is falling apart, it is very dark. How can we endure our faith during such a times as this? This morning I opened my Bible to Zephaniah. probably not one of the most read books of the Bible. God sent me to Zephaniah 3:17........
“If Jesus Christ came to this planet as a model of how we ought to live, then our goal should be to act like Jesus. Sadly, few people consistently demonstrate the love, obedience and priorities of Jesus. The primary reason that people do not act like Jesus is because they do not think like Jesus. Behavior stems from what we think – our attitudes, beliefs, values and opinions. Although most people own a Bible and know some of its content, our research found that most Americans have little idea how to integrate core biblical principles to form a unified and meaningful response to the challenges and opportunities of life. We're often more concerned with survival amidst chaos than with experiencing truth and significance.” George Barna.
Todays message is from Matthew 1:18-25 What can you and learn from the life of Joseph. I have been grieving the passing of our ministry fur baby Daisy. Daisy was a huge help in building bridges of love and trust with many. Sharon and I took her on our Great Commission trips to Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. Daisy helped soften hearts for Jesus. With everything going on in the world, the hostages taken from Israel, the loss of friends from suicide, a friend fighting brain cancer, and on and on.......it is a challenge to remain consistent in everything I do, as I hurt...Thank you for allowing be to be REAL with you.
Father God, we lift up all of those who have worn our nation's uniform. We pray for these, because they were in harm's way, were wounded, lost friends and family, and now suffer the scars of these experiences. Father, we pray for physical and emotional healing for those struggling with woundedness including PTSD. Lord, we lift up their family members who often suffer silently with them. Move on us as a nation and as individuals to have the compassion we need to honor them and serve them well. And Lord, equip us as Jesus followers to heed the Apostle Paul's words, and to ‘Render therefore to all their due.” In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
He (David) said, “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” For the waves of death encompassed me, the torrents of destruction assailed me; the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. “In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears. “Then the earth reeled and rocked; the foundations of the heavens trembled and quaked, because he was angry. Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from his mouth; glowing coals flamed forth from him. He bowed the heavens and came down; thick darkness was under his feet. He rode on a cherub and flew; he was seen on the wings of the wind. He made darkness around him his canopy, thick clouds, a gathering of water. Out of the brightness before him coals of fire flamed forth. The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice. And he sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning, and routed them. Then the channels of the sea were seen; the foundations of the world were laid bare, at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. “He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me…You save a humble people, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down. 2 Samuel 22:3-20 & 28
The preacher's sharpest and strongest preaching must be to himself. His most difficult, delicate. laborious, and thorough work must be with himself. This morning I am in my prayers closet, my humble office
New Mexico and Minnesota and all of America is living proof of George Barna's research: Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. This is reflected by the state of affairs here! One of the top reasons Sharon and I get when we are out on the streets from people as to why the do not go to Church: “The Church does not doing anything for me, it is no longer effective in our country.” Billy Graham puts it this way: Down deep, men and women want peace in their souls and will desperately try everything except Almighty God. Why? Human nature rebels against humbling itself before the One who came to save lost souls. Many people search for fulfillment while ignoring God. Some will spend a lifetime searching for something, never willing to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ who said, “Search the Scriptures … which testify of Me” (John 5:39)(John 14:6). All Christians, including myself, need to look into the mirror and ask ourselves: Are we being effective for JESUS? The solution is carrying out The Great Commission , bring down the walls, the kingdoms of men, denominations, tear them down, leave the power, the money, the ego……..go out for JESUS, not your agenda! We are to be the BODY OF CHRIST! NOT INDEPENDENT IN OUR WAYS! There is power in numbers! Why is there a Church on every street corner in New Mexico and all over America, and we are still going to hell as country? Get out on the road, hear from people.
From Kathy Branzell of National Day of Prayer: Jesus, You are our Master, our King, and Lord and we are your servants, yet You call us friends. Heavenly Father, You are the everlasting Creator of all that exists yet You call us Your beloved children. Every moment of our lives belongs to You and we desire to delight and glorify You in all we do. Help us to remember as we work, rest, care for our family, friends, homes and even learn, do homework, volunteer; in all we think, say, and do, we worship. Guard our hearts from making an idol of work, not worshipping money, positions, or influence. We will endure trials, challenging bosses, hard work, disappointment, and co-workers knowing they are our opportunity to magnify You and Your faithfulness. Remind us that we get to walk out Your Word and love as You grow and perfect us in Your perfect love. May we always rejoice and worship You with reverence and endurance. In the wonderful and worthy name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Repent America! Change your ways!!! Walk away from sin! Be Born Again!
My hometown of Windom, Minnesota is so very blessed to have one of my best friends ever, Dane Nielsen as a principle in their school system! I know this man's heart and soul! I graduated with his Mother Kim, such a sweet heart she was! Kim always made me feel welcomed when I would visit Windom. When I was in Windom for a very short time in June, I got to meet Bryan Joyce, another principle in the Windom school system! He also is such a good man of God! You are very blessed Windom by so many quality people in your school system! I pray that you all will join me and Sharon, and pray for all school officials, teachers, bus drivers, custodians and students! I still remember all the teachers I had, they impacted my life is such an awesome way! It has been almost 50 years since I graduated! I still remember many of the things they taught me! LESSONS FOR LIFE! GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!
This morning I want to Share with you my love for Jesus and all people. First of all, I was told this week of the passing of Alan Anderson a native of Windom, Minnesota. I called his daddy, Phil when I heard of the news. We had a great talk. Phil is very special to me. I has him speak at one of the Windom Revivals we did. Phil was the funeral home director back home when Mom and dad passed away. Phil and his partner Bill Schmidt ministered to us kids so wonderfully. It was a very tough time! I share this story from time to time when I officiate a funeral, the love of JESUS!
How are you and the Lord getting along? I was asked that question years ago by my first boss in Christian radio, Ed Moore at WFRN! That got my attention for sure! I learned a lot from God and by working at WFRN, which I carry with me today. This morning I want you to think about your relationship with God. I want to think about what is God's will for your life! Not your will, your wants, your goals, but what God's will is.
My message today is based on Ezekiel22:30 30 And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. 30 “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. Are you standing in the gap for God?
Charles Stanley stated: While we actively wait, He actively works. In this hurry up world, waiting for anything can cause us to lose our temper. Oh My! Many do! We do not like waiting in line at the post office, grocery store, or anywhere else. Many have ‘ants in their pants' LOL! We do not even like waiting for good things, like for the fish to bite. We want what we want right now! The Word of God teaches us that we learn some of life's biggest lessons while we wait! Amen to that! I could do an all-day sermon on waiting. I can tell you, when I do not wait for God, I mess many things up if I go before Him. Sharon I can share with you about waiting on God. God had us form FGGAM 11 years ago next month. Waiting on God in starting an independent ministry is one of the greatest classrooms ever! For the first 3 years, we wondered if we would make it. I have learned to wait! Sharon is so much better than I on waiting. I am so very thankful to God I have her!
Happy Father's Day! I had the best daddy ever! PTL! My daddy took the responsibility of being a godly father to heart! PTL! Sadly, many children in todays world are not blessed like I was. Many children never get a chance to go to Sunday school, or to Church, because their daddy and mommy did not get the opportunity either or chose just not to go. It is a generational problem here in America. Many grow up without God in the home. I will be preaching on this topic on Father's Day in Grants, New Mexico at ‘The Way, The Truth and The Life Ministries.' See above. I pray for more Christian men and women in America. Let us review Christian responsibilities of dads. Maybe you have become a bit off course. I preach the following at weddings. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (Gen. 1:27). Children are facing things that I never had to face growing up. Man has created in his own mind different sexes! My goodness sakes! We are so very thankful for parents that fight for what is right for their children! Let us encourage all in the name of JESUS! It is so very, very hard to be a Christian dad and mom in this dark world. My heart goes out to them. Sharon and I are parents and grandparents. Today, we honor not only dad's, but also mom's. For Father's Day: Millions of men around the world faithfully strive to honor God in all their vocations in life. Here are the wonderful responsibilities God has given to men: Story Here 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes (U.S. Dept. Of Health/Census) – 5 times the average. 90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes – 32 times the average. 85% of all children who show behavior disorders come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average. (Center for Disease Control) 80% of rapists with anger problems come from fatherless homes –14 times the average. (Justice & Behavior, Vol. 14, p. 403-26) 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes – 9 times the average. (National Principals Association Report) Father Factor in Education – Fatherless children are twice as likely to drop out of school. Children with Fathers who are involved are 40% less likely to repeat a grade in school. Children with Fathers who are involved are 70% less likely to drop out of school. Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to get A's in school. Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to enjoy school and engage in extracurricular activities. 75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes – 10 times the average.
The verse I have selected for Memorial Day: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:3-11 Please now listen to my message.
A woman of God is first and foremost a daughter of God. Becoming a child of God happens through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. My Mom, Ruth Irene Moede had the most underlined Bible I have ever seen in my life! Underlines, notes written on the side......Better yet! She applied the Bible to her life and taught us the same!
He Has Risen! Happy Resurrection Sunday! My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning? Would you read with me from Psalm 22?
Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection (Matthew 21:1–11). As Jesus entered the holy city, He neared the culmination of a long journey toward Golgotha. He had come to save the lost (Luke 19:10), and now was the time—this was the place—to secure that salvation. Palm Sunday marked the start of what is often called “Passion Week,” the final seven days of Jesus' earthly ministry. Palm Sunday was the “beginning of the end” of Jesus' work on earth. From Michael Gehrling in CHURCHLEADERS: This is a Palm Sunday poem that I wrote and preached as the Palm/Passion Sunday sermon. A number of people have requested copies of it, so I'm making it available here: use this Palm Sunday poem as you wish. What Kind of King? A Powerful Palm Sunday Poem From Michael Gehrling: I am a church-planter/pastor and campus minister living in Pittsburgh. I graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with my MDiv in 2008, and prior to that received my BA in Christian Though, with a minor in Theatre, from Grove City College. Currently, I'm living in the neighborhood of Squirrel Hill in the city of Pittsburgh and working to plant The Upper Room, a new church that is cross-cultural, sacramental, and missional. I'm also working for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as a campus minister in their Graduate Student and Faculty Ministry at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh.
Yesterday at Smiths grocery I did my usual thing of talking to all people, I love Jesus, I love all people! When I was walking up to the store an elderly lady was getting out of her car. She was walking with a cane making her way over to a shopping cart and I asked her if she needed some help, she said no I'm going to make my way to the motorized scooters. I told her to just wait and I will get someone to drive the scooter over to you and I asked my friend Donna of Smiths to drive the scooter over to her and she did. After I finished shopping the lady waved at me as she came out of the store and she said I knew you were a Christian man! I gave her a cross that my ministry friend Dwight makes, (pictured above) he has sent me several to hand out as I minister. The lady mentioned to me that manners are lost. Its called showing the love of Jesus! I always think of how I would like my Mommy and Daddy treated in situations. I see many elderly people who struggle, but many just turn away. Someday it may be you and I needing a motorized scooter! Let people always see Jesus in us, we are to be ambassadors for Jesus. Last weekend I went to pick up Sharon's Birthday dinner. When I was going out of the restaurant I saw a young couple approaching and I held the door for them. The couple looked at me like I just had handed them a thousand dollars! The man thanked me more than once! They has such smiles on their faces! PTL! The love of JESUS! I love being an ambassador for JESUS! I love this from one of my favorite all-time Preachers, Adrian Rogers: There's never been a greater time to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The great revivalist Vance Havner said, “Too many are willing to sit at God's table but not work in His field. …God has a place and purpose for you, somewhere for you to be and something for you to do. You never will be happy elsewhere, nor can you please God anywhere but there.” Remind yourself today and say out loud: “I have been called into the ministry. I am saved to serve. God, make me a servant. God, make me a minister.” God has called you. Think what will happen if all of us really begin to minister. We'll turn the world upside down and inside out for Jesus Christ. We could change the world for Jesus if we each understood we've been saved to serve. God has called you into the ministry. You don't just sit in church to soak and sour but to serve. Where have you served in your church? What have been some of your hesitations about serving God? Are you carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION? It is a command from our LORD, not a suggestion! Look it up in your Bible!
My Dear Freind Kathy Branzell of National day of Prayer shared with us on St. Patrick's Day, the Breastplate prayer.....Would you please pray the final paragraph of St. Patrick's Breastplate prayer with me? “Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. I arise today Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, Through belief in the threeness, Through confession of the oneness, Of the Creator of Creation.”
Charles Spurgeon was on the the greatest preachers the world has ever had! God's Best! So was Billy Graham, I have learned so much from these two awesome men of God. I love reading about the preachers of the past. How about you? Who are your role models?
The love of JESUS be with you and yours always! Do you communicate with others about the love of JESUS? Do you share the wisdom of GOD with others? I love sharing JESUS with all people! It is the greatest thing you can do for our LORD! Please do not be shy about sharing JESUS with all people, do not be shy about YOUR JESUS! I share Jesus wherever I go, to the bank, post office, gas stations, restaurants, just all over.....
Revival starts with you and me! When is the last time you just threw yourself on the floor and seeked JESUS! When is the last time you have wept seeking Jesus! Do you have the love of Jesus in your heart? Do you need heart surgery?
I am weeping this morning….God is on the move in America and it is led by our young people…….Like many of you, I have been praying for this for many years. TRUE REVIVAL! The secular news networks are now covering what God is doing ay Asbury and Lee University and other campuses!! PTL!!! All Glory to God! Look what GOD is doing! PTL!!! PTL!!! LOOK! LOOK! WHAT GOD IS DOING! NOT MAN MADE!!! GOD MADE! OH HOLY SPIRIT!!! PTL!!! REVIVAL FIRE HAS COME TO AMERICA! Revival refers to a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer. It encompasses the resurfacing of a love for God, an appreciation of God's holiness, a passion for His Word and His church, a convicting awareness of personal and corporate sin, a spirit of humility, and a desire for repentance and growth in righteousness. Revival invigorates and sometimes deepens a believer's faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. It generally involves the connotation of a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God. Revival breaks the charm and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world. Read More From ‘Got Questions' on Revival Here
Tragically only 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview! Just 37% of pastors have a Biblcial Worldview. The result is chaos! Lets get into the thick of things...........
My Dear Freind and Mentor Psstor Leonard Navarre shared this story with us at FGGAM back in 2013. It is still read to this day. Several years ago I heard the story of a young brilliant concert pianist. He was giving his first professional performance of his career. As he play skillfully and brilliantly the audience sat in rapt attention, absorbing every note. Finally at the end of a magnificent performance the audience exploded in a standing ovation. In the midst of the ovation the young pianist left the stage shoulders downcast, crest fallen and dejected. The stage manager came to him full of congratulations and praise but the young musician remained despondent. “I am no good” the young man exclaimed. “It was a failure”. The stage manager responded, “nonsense. It was tremendous, everyone is on their feet and applauding, except for just one old man.” The young concert pianist replied, “yes, but that old man is my piano teacher.” This story should remind us that our service to Jesus Christ is to be motivated by one factor and one factor alone; Our love for the Master, His Word and His approval.
My prayer is that you will honor your Pastor this Sunday and all days. After I officiated a very emotional funeral service yesterday Jackie Low posted this on my Facebook page: I think you have one of the toughest vocations right now in all this mess Dewey.. thank you for your faithfulness! Prayers and Gods blessings! Many Pastors are quitting, they are tired and discouraged. Please pour the love of Jesus over your Pastor and his or her family. What are YOU going to do this Sunday to show your appreciation to your Pastor? Many Americans no longer go to Church. It is time to pray to the Lord for a Church to attend. God will show you. If you need help in finding a Church to attend, please email me at pastordewey@fggam.org I will do my best to help you no matter where you live. I have friends all over America to help you. This is from Dion Elmore of National Day of Prayer! We love all the folks at National Day of Prayer! Friend — “Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”” – 1 Timothy 5:17-18
So many people need JESUS! JESUS is always the answer to all problems. NOT POLITICS! Do you share Jesus with everybody? Do you share JESUS at the post office, the grocery store? on the streets of your community? America needs JESUS! Please do not be bashful about sharing JESUS! Satan is having his way with many in America, so many are off the track and blinded by Satan, walking in such mud and darkness, many do not even know it! Why is the World full of evil? “So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18. The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction. Do you know what the GREAT COMMISSION is? It is a command from JESUS, not a suggestion! Please read Matthew 28:16–20.
My Dear Friends I want to share with you what the Lord is showing me today and many days. Do you have a calling? Here is mine! “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God. God's Word is the final authority for faith and life. We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. – FGGAM is a nondenominational, nonpartisan, Independent ministry –
The Apostle Paul told Christ's followers not to conform to the world (Romans 12:2) and these words still have a tremendous and significant meaning for believers today. These words cut like a sharp sword across our way of life. They are not comfortable words. They have the tone of the battle call in them. They separate the weak from the strong. But they are words of inspiration and conviction, and we need to hear them today — and heed them. We must not be conformed to this world mentally. The world by its advertisements, conversation, and philosophy is engaged in a gigantic brainwashing task. Christians must not allow the world's sewage system to contaminate the Christian mind. We also must not conform to the world physically. Our bodies are meant to be the temple of the Spirit of God that abides in us. Nor should we conform to the world socially. The world attempts to absorb us into its secular society and to conform us to its earthly image, but Christ tells us not to conform: “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:16). The disciples turned the world's ways upside down by the power of the Word of God.
Peace with God is the fruit of ones with God. The answer is found in a close, loving and abiding relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hear His Word: "Peace be with you."
Matthew 28:19–20 contains what has come to be called the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus gave this command to the apostles shortly before He ascended into heaven, and it essentially outlines what Jesus expected the apostles and those who followed them to do in His absence. It is interesting that, in the original Greek, the only direct command in Matthew 28:19–20 is “make disciples.” The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples while we are going throughout the world. The instructions to “go,” “baptize,” and “teach” are indirect commands—participles in the original. How are we to make disciples? By baptizing them and teaching them all that Jesus commanded. “Make disciples” is the primary command of the Great Commission. “Going,” “baptizing,” and “teaching” are the means by which we fulfill the command to “make disciples.”
I have studied this subject for years. When my Mom was not healed from cancer and passed into heaven, It made me really think about unanswered prayer. We had so many people praying for the healing of my mom, Ruth Irene Moede. Mom passed away into the arms of Jesus at age 64 in 1995. My dad, Wally, passed away of a sudden heart attack on Easter morning in 1993 also at the age of 64. It was a very tough time for me and my brothers and sister. I learned a lot about life, death, and prayer. I remember one time when a man told me, “My mom had cancer and we all prayed and she was healed.” I also learned first hand not what to say to people. That one really hurt. I could write a book on what not to say to people that have just lost a loved one. Death is not talked about enough by many Pastors. All that I have personally gone though and from my study of God's ways, has made me a better man of God, as God has placed me in the ministry of officiating many funerals. I have taken off two weeks from officiating funeral services because my spirit was becoming ‘dull,' and I needed to refresh myself in my Lord. Never lose your loving, sensitive heart for people. Pastor Raymond Franks, now with the Lord, told me once, “Dewey, always pray for the Lord's will to be done.” Amen! We always do not understand the workings of the Lord
FGGAM STATEMENT OF FAITH: We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God. God's Word is the final authority for faith and life. We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. – FGGAM is a non-denominational, nonpartisan, Independent ministry – I absolutely love the ministry of National Day of Prayer! PTL! I also love the writings of Kathy Branzell, President of National Day of Prayer Task force! PS! I was born on July 4th, 1956!!! Friend — “YOU WILL KEEP IN PERFECT PEACE THOSE WHOSE MINDS ARE STEADFAST, BECAUSE THEY TRUST IN YOU. TRUST IN THE LORD FOREVER, FOR THE LORD, THE LORD HIMSELF, IS THE ROCK ETERNAL.” ISAIAH 26:3-4 NIV This weekend marks the anniversary of “In God We Trust” becoming the motto of the United States of America. On July 30, 1956, the 84th Congress unanimously passed the joint resolution and President Eisenhower signed this faith-filled motto, that had been declared throughout our history, into law. “In God We Trust” had already been proclaimed on our currency, in our national anthem and various documents, flags, military regiment mottos, and more – but in 1956 we honored God by, and established our trust in Him, as our national belief guiding America throughout history.
Do you hear God? Does God speak to you? Why do you sometimes fail to hear God when He speaks? Minds of many are cluttered with nothing noise, the noise of the world. Today let us focus on listening to God.....
Psalm 139 English Standard Version Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. 139 O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” 12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you. 13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a] Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. 19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me! 20 They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain.[b] 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you? 22 I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts![c] 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting![d] Footnotes
