Aaron D’Anthony Brown reminds us that even in the midst of fear, suffering, or societal pressures, we can trust in God’s light. Drawing on Psalm 56:3, this devotional encourages believers to approach God honestly, commit to Him consistently, and seek strength in community so that darkness does not have the final word. Highlights Darkness and suffering are inevitable in a fallen world, but God’s faithful love remains constant. Honest, earnest prayer aligns our hearts with Christ and brings hope even in difficult circumstances. Commitment to God involves daily devotion, prayer, and active participation in His community. Surrounding yourself with supportive believers strengthens faith and reduces the grip of fear. Trusting God allows His light to shine through life’s challenges, replacing fear with faith. 0:00 - Scottie Scheffler spoke to the media about what motivates him...or doesn't. It's a strange outlook to have on life, sports, and competition. 13:51 - A man in Rochester, NY saw a mountian lion, then recounted the experience to a local news station. Turns out, he's not a fan. Just like how our very own Vic Lombardi isn't a fan of snakes on the golf course. 30:08 - Brett's friends over at LanchPad Brewing are celebrating 10 years of business! They brewed a custom beer for our show, and the name comes at Moser's expense. Even though it's historically accurate.

Jesus Followers Know the Cornerstone of Christianity Is: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” MESSAGE SUMMARY: Jesus is The Door and The Gate by which you must enter the Kingdom of God. In John 14:6-7, Jesus answers a question by the Apostle Thomas with the fundamental tenant of Christianity when He tells us all: “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.'". Also, in John 10:9-10, Jesus tells us: “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief {Satan} comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." Also, Jesus said, in Matthew 7:13-14, that He was "the Narrow Gate", and whomever enters the Kingdom through Him will be saved and have Eternal Life: {You} “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.". Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection are the events, of about two thousand years ago, that provided us all, by God's Grace, with access to The Narrow Gate, which is Jesus. Through Jesus' death on the cross for your sins and His Resurrection, He has given you eternal life, if you choose to enter The Narrow Gate. You may ask: “How do I enter this ‘Narrow Gate' of Jesus?”. By God's Grace you can enter Eternal Life, through Jesus, by your true belief and faith in Jesus as God along with your prayerful confession of your sins to God. With your belief, faith, and confession, you have entered through the narrow and only door to your Salvation. However and after your entry through the door, you must continue, in your faith and obedience, to follow Jesus – this is the only, and it is The Way provided by God's Grace through Jesus. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, help me to grab hold of you today. I need you. Set me free to begin reorienting my life around you, and you alone. Help me to pay attention to and honor how you have uniquely made me. Thank you for the gift of rest. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 122). Lori and I took a trip down memory lane over lunch and realized just how much our early struggles shaped who we are today. Hi my loves
By the time Toni Bergins reached grad school, her life felt like chaos. Beneath the surface, she was grappling with the lingering effects of childhood trauma, which manifested in body image struggles, disordered eating, and self-destructive behaviors. She became consumed by exercise and dieting, using alcohol as a coping mechanism. Then, one day, Toni took a dance class—unlike any other. There was no choreography, no rules. As she ran freely around the room, Toni felt like a child again. She broke down, crying, unraveling—but she had loved every moment of it. This was Toni's introduction to embodied movement—a form of raw, primal dance that encourages women to fully inhabit their bodies and embrace every emotion. Today, embodied movement is helping countless women heal from their trauma.Toni Bergins is the creator of JourneyDance, a form of embodied movement which is helping women transform their lives.
