For the first episode proper in our new series, we arrived at the giant screen at the back of Birmingham's Hennessey's pub for the Monaco Grand Prix We thought we'd try out a new format, namely a "react to events in the race as they happened" style like all those cool kids on youtube are doing. And gogglebox. You be the judge as to its success. In what ended up being a test of endurance, we kept thinking of ways to throw the chequred flag early and go home. That's Monaco sometimes Follow www.twitter.com/formulapubcast for latest info on the events if you want to join us, or just have your sarcastic comments read out by Paul or Miller

Surprise! We're back, due to no demand and no-one's request We decided this "talking about F1 down a pub" idea was far too good to let sit idle, and in advance of probably not having anywhere else to watch the races when Sky take over completely in 2019, we thought we'd bring back the old favourite. Someone's old favourite, somewhere. Maybe. To re-acquaint you with the Pubcast, we thought we'd record this short(ish) (Re)-intro cast so we can set our stall out once again, and also bring ourselves up to date with everything that's happened since we were last podcasting. Everything gets discussed from Nico Rosberg's championship, the rise, fall, rise and fall (and fall again) of Max Verstappen, Williams woes...you get the picture. "It's the last race of the season! The end of a season that pretty much ended a few races ago sees a last day of school atmosphere descend over Birmingham's Apres Bar where the Motorsport in Pubs and John Button Appreciation societies meet to dissect the Abu Dhabi GP and the 2015 season as a whole. And a bit of Tennis. Listen for tales of the race to get to the venue via public transport, how much the FIA like to penalise drivers for not crashing and who we think will be the featured runners in 2016. AND and Exclusive report on the Singapore GP 5 races too late by someone who may or may not allegedly be the drunken English fan who ran out on track! 2015 over then, it's been a sporadic year, both in F1 excitement and pubcast appearance. Whatever happens to both of those things next season, thanks for listening to this vanity project that may have even been a bit entertaining. Maybe. Bye.

This is the Italian Grand Prix Pubscast and apologies to those who enjoy out of date predictions for a race that's already happened but like Kimi Raikkonen I managed to miss the start. But all the usual in depth post race analysis and swear words still happen so that's something. After a bit of an enforced break, the Pubcast roars back into form with a pub full of excited Formula 1 fans who have one of the races of the season to remark upon and react to. The banter levels are set to their highest setting with such gems as Nico Bottas and Kimi Massa being commented upon as well as the other frantic developments during a frenetic Hungarian Grand Prix Though since this is the first Pubcast since the sad news was announced of the Death of Jules Bianchi a sombre atmosphere is hanging over the pub at the beginning, sadly the race was just too crazy for us to remember to sign off with the Bianchi tribute we intended to. So we may be setting a world record for the shortest Pub based reacting to a Formula 1 race podcast ever, but we still have time to NOT talk about the fallout from Monaco, worry if my bag is missing (UPDATE: Bag was found post-Podcast) and not reference some man on a bike doing something for an hour that was happening at the same time. Then did. Then, in a way, we all kind of wish didn't. As stated, this was recorded before the magnitude of the Jules Bianchi situation was known so please do not feel are making light of a terrible moment in the F1 season, however it was felt to be important that the podcast was aired to really capture that unsure moment before the magnitude of the Bianchi crash dawned on us all. All of us at Motorsport In Pubs and the Formula Pubscast wish Jules Bianchi and his family the best possible wishes at this time and we all hope Jules recovers fully to race again soon. 2014 begins, 40+ F1 fans in a pub at 6am to opine and react to the first Grand Prix of the season, what could go wrong? After the most fascinating off-season in living memory, the new rules threw up many questions about the competitive order of the F1 field, questions that perhaps the first GP didn't answer fully. But that doesn't matter for our F1InPubs attendees, who once again packed into Birmingham's Apres Bar to enjoy the race with each other, all those people heading to a pub at 6am to get their latest fix eh? Thank goodness coffee seemed to be the strongest substance they were buzzing on! The regulars are dotted around amid fans old and new, and if the first event of 2014 is to go by, both F1 itself and the F1InPubs events are off to a great start. And since I mangled all the details in the actual podcast, thanks to Downforce Radio for taking us under their wing for 2014! www.downforce-radio.co.uk Worth a look. And a listen. Hi, welcome to a special bonus F1InPubscast. My name is Paul Hadsley and I'll be occupying your left ear for this podcast! I, along with Kris Brown, head honcho of F1Inpubs, have brought along some special guests (and they will be occupying your right ear!) to talk about an F1 Film they have been producing. It's called "One" and it details the changes in the sport from the 60s era up to the modern day, focusing specifically on safety and how that has developed over the years. It's a lot more exciting than I make it sound here, I promise, if you don't believe me, view the trailer for it and see how many amazing interviews they have managed to pull off: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGyg9p4pP…S21suy5NiEP_SCj4Z So, to that end, Kris and I talked to the producers Michael Shevloff and Paul Crowderville about their film and what you can expect from it, while also throwing in questions about the state of current F1 and a few F1InPubs classics. Enjoy! p.s. this is their facebook for those interested: www.facebook.com/1thefilm?fref=ts

I'll stop that now, but it was indeed a shame that after such a long gap, F1 returned to put on a Belgian GP that didn't live up to our expectations. But no matter, as the F1InPubs mantra goes, the duller the race the more time we have to mess around in the pub and that is reflected in this race's Pubscast as Paul Hadsley talks to the regulars and the newbies and tries to cheer them up after a disappointing race.
