Scott shares his testimonial and Crucible's impact on his recovery as a healing community of healthy men where shame is defeated. He states, “Sobriety is not the opposite of addiction. Connection is.” He reports that all sexual acting out and fantasy has its origins in some harm in the formative years. He reports that 1 in 3 men were sexually abused as minors and why most men do not report their abuse. They also dive into foreign policy and what America's role should be in both Ukraine and Israel and how to fight back against the evil of Russia and Hamas.
Steve Schmidt is joined by Joyce Vance, author of the Substack newsletter “Civil Discourse”. Based on public record files of Cass County Police Department. In this week's episode, the long-awaited 911 call will be played in its entirety. If you have an affinity for statement analysis, this is certainly an episode you will want to listen to over and over. As we've recorded this episode, we caught something different every time we listen. Jeff places his needs before Dani's. He tries to take control immediately by saying he needs a different county to respond. He distances himself from Dani by referring to her as “the girl”. He refused to give CPR because he knows she was dead. Except she wasn't. Listen to the dispatcher as she seems to doubt that Jeff is doing as she tells him to. We will break down the 911 call line by line, taking you through our private eyes. Based on public record files of Cass County Police Department. In this week's episode, we introduce you to the second location of significance the evening Dani died, which is what we refer to as “The ATV site". Thirty minutes after Jeff called 911 about Dani, the Cass County Sheriff's Dept responded to a 911 call from a witness who reported hearing an accident. You will hear the audio between Cass County Sheriff's Deputy James Rachel and Jeff's good friend CJ, who was also riding ATV's with Jeff and Dani. After they were finished riding, Jeff called CJ and asked him to follow him back into town. CJ reports that Jeff was driving erratically and lost his ATV off the trailer. Two days later, CJ is interviewed by Cass County Chief Deputy Roy Barker. You will also hear this audio. Listen closely to similarities and differences in his recollection of the events of the evening Dani died. Joins Chris to preview the reigning Minor Premiers' 2022 season.
Based on public record files of Cass County Police Department. In the next episode, you will hear from one of my Patreon members, Haley Ward, who became a Private Investigator in order to get answers about the suspicious death of her 20-year-old cousin, Dani Jo Smith of Longview, TX. Dani was a confident and vivacious young woman who on the night of July 18, 2014, went for an ATV ride with her on-again/off-again boyfriend Jeff Wellborn. Unfortunately, Dani never made it home. Dani died in the hospital that night from a gunshot wound to her head and it was ruled a suicide. Many questions surrounded her death. Why were there three possible crime scenes? Why were none of the other ATV riders interviewed? How could she have shot herself while being reclined in a car seat with a seatbelt on? Why would a former Marine who served two tours in Iraq confuse the sound of a gunshot thinking it was a firecracker? In the next several episodes Sheila and Katherine will investigate that fateful night taking you through their private eyes. WARNING : Podcast takeover alert : WARNING For this show the old ones who usually run things have been given a rest as the young team of Emily and Kieran take over. Earlier this year Emily and Kieran were working as students on the Cheltenham International Film Festival. On this podcast they talk to various people connected with the festival. They speak to festival founder Leslie Sheldon, the team who created and shaped this year's festival, some of the director's whose films were in competition and people who watched the features. In short this is a beginning to end trip through how a festival is organised to how it is delivered to the public. A fascinating journey for which our two young friends are your guides. Emily and Kieran have put together an excellent podcast – in fact if I were one of the old guys who normally appear on here talking about how much better things were in the past, I would be worried. Finally, if you enjoy this podcast and wished that you had attended the festival, then worry not. In October the second half of this year's Cheltenham festival takes place and you can actually sit in a cinema to watch some of the movies. Check out the Cheltenham International Film Festival website (https://2021.cheltfilm.com/) for further details. We hope to return you to our normal team for the next podcast – unless you would rather it was run by Emily and Kieran. While you decide, see you At The Flicks.

Naomi Wise fell for Victor Oquendo – nicknamed Animal – after becoming a jail mentor. Online chats led to a romance that has stunned Naomi’s family, not least when she revealed she had accepted his marriage proposal. Oquendo, 30, shot dead two rivals in a gangland hit and has served 10 years of a 24-year sentence for crimes which also included three armed robberies. "The Talk" and Sharon Osbourne have parted ways, CBS announced Friday. The news comes two weeks after controversy over an on-air confrontation between Osbourne and one of her co-hosts, as well as allegations that she had made racist and homophobic remarks about her colleagues in the past. "The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace," CBS said in a statement released to CNN. "We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts." CNN has reached out to a representative for Osbourne for comment. In the episode at the center of the controversy, Osbourne had an intense debate with fellow co-host Sheryl Underwood after the latter questioned Osbourne's support of her longtime friend, Piers Morgan. Morgan left his job on ITV's "Good Morning Britain" after allegations that negative comments he made following Prince Harry and Meghan's interview with media mogul Oprah Winfrey were rooted in racism. Osbourne demanded Underwood present instances of when Morgan had been racist and was visibly upset during the exchange. Welcome to the Cheer Up luv Podcast hosted by me, Eliza Hatch! This is a podcast based on the photo series Cheer Up Luv, which is a campaign I started in 2017, dedicated to retelling stories of sexual harassment. In this podcast, I will be interviewing a number of artists, activists and creatives about their work, and discussing your submitted stories of sexual harassment, with the aim of dismantling myths and challenging some of the things that have become normalised in our day to day lives. Basically, I wanted to do a deeper dive into the issues, and stories that I post about on Cheer Up luv, and reflect on the weight these stories have when they are read out loud, coupled with some really interesting chats with people I admire, doing incredible things! So stay tuned, as there are some really exciting guests lined up for this season! * Trigger Warning * We will be discussing themes surrounding sexual harassment in this podcast, and reading out stories submitted from members of the Cheer Up Luv community. Each theme of the episode will be slightly different, and tailored to what the guest feels comfortable talking about. All stories discussed on the podcast have been submitted in the knowledge that they will be read out, with consent for first names to be used, or in some cases anonymous. Each story is openly discussed with the guest from the point of view of personal experience, bearing in mind everyone's experiences to harassment may differ and no reaction is the same. If you would like to send in your story, please feel free to DM @cheerupluv or submit via the website: www.cheerupluv.com *Warning* Podcast contains explicit language. Episode 19. The explosive finale of "Trigger Warning." When does freedom go too far? Doctor Rowena Halley has finally found a job that pays enough to live on. Too bad it’s a continent away from one of the men in her life, and an ocean away from the other. Plus, the campus she’s teaching at is not the idyllic haven it seems. There are the usual problems of academia: busywork, embarrassing extracurricular activities, a difficult department chair. And then there’s real danger. A Gamergate activist has been invited to speak at the college, and a campus Men’s Rights group has threatened to protest the event. Are the rumors of violence swirling around the speaker “just talk,” or are they going to become action? When Rowena gets drawn into organizing the event, she is called on to find out before something tragic happens. Her dive into the campus’s incel culture just threatens to stir the pot, though. Rowena is worried that she’s going to lose her job. With tensions on campus running this high, however, it may be more than her contract that is terminated. The college is concerned about freedom of speech. Rowena is concerned about the freedom to stay alive. Combining suspense, dark humor, and a touch of romance, Trigger Warning is a sharply satirical examination of modern higher ed reminiscent of Robert B. Parker’s investigations into the dark side of contemporary college life, written by someone with years of experience in the trenches of academia. *Content warning: Along with the kind of adult language you should expect from mouthy undergrads and battle-scarred Iraq vets, this book also contains a serious discussion of bullying, incel culture, and gun violence. You’ve been warned.*

Episode 17. Things get edgy when Miriam Chen arrives on campus. When does freedom go too far? Doctor Rowena Halley has finally found a job that pays enough to live on. Too bad it’s a continent away from one of the men in her life, and an ocean away from the other. Plus, the campus she’s teaching at is not the idyllic haven it seems. There are the usual problems of academia: busywork, embarrassing extracurricular activities, a difficult department chair. And then there’s real danger. [PODCAST] Why did God reveal the Truth to you? Was it for your own benefit, or maybe something more? Something that most who come into Torah have struggled with, or is struggling with, is the danger of pride. Knowledge can certainly puff up, so lets audit ourselves by how we fellowship with others, and the love we do or do not walk out. Once we receive a revelation, the enemy comes in for the kill, and without humility, we will certainly be consumed in our own leaven. Rise on Fire is a ministry assigned to ignite a fire of Spirit & Truth around the world. God is calling us back to the walk of Yeshua with no more excuses. We are free from the traditions of men, led by the Truth and empowered by the Spirit. ╫ Join my Patreon for exclusive rewards! http://www.patreon.com/riseonfire ╫ Links: http://www.riseonfire.com http://www.facebook.com/RiseOnFire http://www.twitter.com/RiseOnFireSA https://www.youtube.com/RiseOnFire PATRONS - Special thanks to: Chelsea Randell Vivian Lockett Marianne L Coulter MUSIC CREDIT All music rights reserved (c) to the respective owners. (WARNING: Podcast and descriptions contain spoilers from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi") It was one of the most dramatic scenes in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi": Vice-Admiral Amilyn Holdo (played by Laura Dern) flies her ship at lightspeed through the First Order flagship "The Supremacy," splitting Snoke's massive ship in two, nobly sacrificing herself to allow what remained of the Resistance to escape to the planet Crait. In this episode of the podcast, Adam Thomas, Tysen Webb and Andy Farnsworth draw on their years of experience from watching "Law & Order" and "Perry Mason" to hold a trial in absentia for Vice-Admiral Holdo, considering whether such an act, "from a certain point of view" (to quote Ben Kenobi) could be considered a war crime. Join us for this humorous debate, then BECOME the jury and comment below on whose side won the case!
In this week's episode, Mao asks the guys what they think about spoilers - what constitutes a spoiler, and do we actively avoid them or not mind if something is teased a little bit? (WARNING: Podcast contains heavy spoilers from 1st 2 episodes) After months of waiting and several delays, "Star Trek Discovery" finally made its debut, and what a debut it was! In this episode of the podcast, Adam Thomas, Aaron Zundel and Andy Farnsworth talk about the first two episodes, "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle at the Binary Stars". They discuss how this series opener compares with past Trek shows' first episodes, how it compares with late Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future, what they thought of the big moments from the two episodes, and how they think long-time fans and the newly-interested will feel about the direction the series appears to be headed.
Raw "mock interview" with Actress Nicole Boucher, pronounced (boo-shay) :) Nicole and I have a deep conversation about how she overcomes her shyness at 13 through acting and moves to Los Angeles to do what she loves. "Nicole. What is love?" Love is.. Warning: Podcast quality is not that great but I wanted to share this one.

Two of the three Niis (of orient are...) made the short journey home from Bury and are now talking about it in your ears. There's a mixture of frustration and analysis as usual as they rue a game where the team failed to learn from the mistakes of their most recent victory. In other news there's a gettable Only Covvect question for once and Neil explains what he thinks is excellent about Shrewsbury's manager. Warning: Podcast contains no begging to vote for us in the FBAs by going to www.footballbloggingawards.co.uk or by heading to @niilampteyshow and @skybluesblog because we don't do that sort of thing any more
The Canadian Grand Prix, a great event and a great time of day to watch a race for European viewers. HOWEVER not that great for a podcast based in a Motorsport In Pubs event where people are literally putting coats on and making their way towards the door as the chequered flag falls. So we may be setting a world record for the shortest Pub based reacting to a Formula 1 race podcast ever, but we still have time to NOT talk about the fallout from Monaco, worry if my bag is missing (UPDATE: Bag was found post-Podcast) and not reference some man on a bike doing something for an hour that was happening at the same time. Warning: Podcast contains one attempt at a joke. We'll see how that goes www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out how you can join in the fun at a location near you @formulapubscast to ask me how my bag is/congratulate me on my one joke.
