E.ON und Tank & Rast wollen ein neues Ladenetz für E-LKWs mit Megawatt-Ladesystem aufbauen, 195 Ladepunkte an 24 Autobahnstandorten. Das klingt erstmal nicht so viel, aber mit diesem Schritt kann eine positive Feedback-Schleife in Gang kommen: mehr Ladepunkte hilft Speditionen bei der Planung, sie stellen mehr E-LKWs in den Dienst, die Nachfrage steigt, mehr Ladepunkte werden errichtet usw. Bei Playstation gibt es eher schlechte Nachrichten: Sony hat angekündigt, dass es ab Januar 2028 für neue Spiele keine Disc-Versionen mehr geben wird, egal was Entwickler oder Publisher davon halten. Oder wir Spieler. In den aktuellen Leaks bzw. Gerüchten kursiert von zuverlässigen Quellen, dass die sog. BOM, die Bill of Materials, also die Materialkosten der PS6 bereits jetzt 960 Dollar betragen würden. Das ist angesichts der Marktlage leider komplett glaubwürdig und bedeutet nichts Gutes. Die Steam Machine ist endlich vorbestellbar und sie kostet 1039 Euro in der Variante mit 512 GB SSD. Ohne Controller. Den gibt es für einen Aufpreis von 69 Euro, im Bundle also für 1108 Euro. Die Variante mit 2 TB SSD kostet 1359 Euro (mit Controller 1428 Euro). Warum sollte man sich dieses Gerät dann noch kaufen? Die Punkte, die dafür sprechen, sind immer noch die gleichen: kompaktes Design, das sich gut ins Wohnzimmer einfügt, äußerst leises Kühlsystem, SteamOS. Nur wiegt das Problem der unterwältigenden Performance bei solchen Preisen noch stärker. Theoretisch kann man sich jetzt mit dem (halb-)offiziellen Release von SteamOS für dedizierte AMD-Grafikkarten auch selbst eine Steam Machine bauen, die weniger kostet, dafür mehr kann, aber man muss bei den oben genannten positiven Punkten deutliche Abstriche machen: Den Formfaktor einer Steam Machine wird man im DIY nicht erreichen, die Lautstärke, Strombedarf. Rejugando 310: Star Fox vuelve, Elliot sorprende y el terremoto de precios sacude la industria En este episodio 310 de Rejugando, nos juntamos para hacer uno de esos programas que mezclan pasión, análisis y cabreo a partes iguales. Seguimos metidos de lleno en este verano que no da tregua, pero el videojuego tampoco afloja. Esta semana ha sido de las que dejan titulares fuertes: análisis en profundidad de Star Fox, analisis de The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, el lío monumental con el formato físico de Grand Theft Auto VI y la subida salvaje de precios de Xbox. Y sí, fue de esos programas donde empiezas arriba, bajas al barro y vuelves a salir. StarFox regresa en Nintendo Switch 2: nostalgia bien hecha Abrimos con uno de los grandes nombres del programa: el regreso de Star Fox 64 en su nueva revisión para Nintendo Switch 2. La sensación general fue clara: parecía un simple lavado de cara… y al final ha resultado ser bastante más. El esqueleto sigue siendo el mismo clásico que redefinió la saga en Nintendo 64, pero aquí el trabajo técnico es mucho más ambicioso de lo esperado: 60 FPS sólidos. HDR bien aprovechado. Remodelado gráfico notable. Sonido completamente rehecho. Nuevas cinemáticas que expanden la relación entre Fox, Falco, Peppy y Slippy. Modo cooperativo asimétrico. Nuevo modo 4vs4. Lo importante es que sigue funcionando igual de bien que hace casi 30 años: rutas alternativas, secretos, puntuación, rejugabilidad pura y esa sensación arcade que ya casi no existe. La conclusión fue clara: 50 euros por un juego corto pero muy rejugable se sienten hoy casi como una rareza sana dentro del mercado actual. Y eso, viendo cómo está todo, es casi un milagro. The Adventures of Elliot: la gran sorpresa de Square Enix La otra gran parte del programa fue el análisis de Square Enix con su nueva IP: The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Y aquí hubo sorpresa. Venimos de los creadores de Octopath Traveler y Bravely Default, pero esta vez cambian completamente de registro: Action RPG. Combate en tiempo real. Exploración. Viajes temporales. Sistema de armas intercambiables. Magias personalizables. Cooperativo opcional. La premisa es sencilla: Elliot vive en un reino asediado por monstruos y acaba descubriendo una puerta que conecta distintas eras del mismo mundo. Y ahí empieza el gran gancho. Lo interesante está en cómo cada era cambia personajes, ciudades y relaciones, aunque también hubo crítica: muchos mapas reutilizan estructura, y eso puede hacerse repetitivo. Lo mejor: Combate muy adictivo. Sistema de armas variado (espadas, martillos, arcos, boomerangs…). El acompañante mágico “Faie”, que añade profundidad táctica. Posibilidad de cooperativo local. Banda sonora espectacular. Localización al español sorprendentemente buena. Lo peor: Algunas secundarias muy genéricas. Repetición de biomas. Demasiada información en mapa (demasiada ayuda). Aun así, la conclusión fue unánime: es uno de esos juegos que quizá no revoluciona nada, pero consigue que quieras seguir jugando constantemente. Y eso vale muchísimo. Xbox sube precios: el golpe más duro de la semana Y aquí llegó el momento de cambiar radicalmente el tono. Porque Microsoft ha hecho oficial una subida durísima en sus consolas: Xbox Series S → 500€ Xbox Series S → 600€ Xbox Series X → 750€ Xbox Series X → 800€ La sensación dentro del programa fue de incredulidad absoluta. Porque la Series S nació como la consola económica para entrar en Xbox Game Pass. Y ahora esa puerta de entrada vale medio millar de euros. La conversación derivó en algo inevitable: el acceso al videojuego de consola se está encareciendo hasta niveles preocupantes. Se habló mucho del problema generacional: ¿Cómo entra un chaval nuevo a este hobby si solo empezar ya cuesta 500-800€? Esa fue probablemente la gran pregunta del episodio. Tim Cook navíc ví, že spoléhat se na jediného dodavatele není rozumné. Zvlášť když sídlí na Tchaj-wanu. Intel bude pro Apple každopádně vyrábět čipy, jen nevíme jaké. Hodnota akcií výrobce procesorů, jehož majoritním vlastníkem je od loňska americká vláda, po oznámení vzrostla. Navíc má za sebou po dlouhé době dobré čtvrtletí. Růst hodnoty podpořila ještě třetí zásadní zpráva – Intel pro Elona Muska postaví továrnu na čipy Terafab. Microsoft mezitím pracuje na tom, aby zrychlil a zlepšil Windows 11. Jeho iniciativě se interně přezdívá K2. Kromě optimalizací na straně softwaru dosáhnou Jedenáctky lepšího výkonu tím, že vyždímají procesor. Zaujalo nás, že Microsoft si bere příklad ze SteamOS a chtěl by ho v herním výkonu dohnat. Vědět o sobě dal také Google, když představil novou třídu počítačů Googlebook. Moc toho k nim ale neřekl. Zřejmě nahradí Chromebooky. Prim na platformě budou hrát Chrome, AI a aplikace z Androidu. O operačním systému víme pouze to, že má být moderní.
