This week on “I Got More To Say,” Host Cato III welcomes the man who helped change his life, legendary music industry veteran Todd Herreman! During Todd's 20 years in the music game, he has served as a producer, composer, engineer, and songwriter. After earning his Bacehlors in Music and Philosophy from Indiana University, Todd got his start by working as a Recording Engineer and Fairlight operator for Prince in 1986, recording multiple tracks on his magnum opus “Sign O' The Times” album. He then went on to work with other superstars such as Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck, Jody Watley, and Brian Wilson. After earning a Master of Legal Studies degree with a concentration in Intellectual Property from Southern Illinois School of Law, he embarked on a 20 year teaching career. After 13 years at Southern Illinois, he served as a Co-Chair of Audio Arts at Cato III's Alma Mater of Syracuse University, in the prestigious Visual and Performing Arts College. Born and Raised in Buffalo, New York, Bulli began writing poetry as a pre-teen after the passing of her grandmother and turned to rhyming after jumping in cyphers with fellow rappers in her neighborhood. While a student at Bennett High School, Bulli was encouraged by her high school English teacher to continue to take writing seriously. After walking the stage in 2002, an eventful 15 years followed which included 60 hour work weeks, raising two children as a single mother, and sharpening her lyrical pen before the arrival of her debut project “Respect Ya History.” The following 6 years saw the release of projects “Dope Chick, No Soda” (2018) “The Break Up” (2019), and “Duffle Bag Bulli” (2022). After winning Shade 45's Demo Battles three weeks in a row in 2022, Bulli was one of 12 MC's chosen to feature on the legendary “Sway in the Morning” radio show due to her submission for the “The Saga Continues” challenge that was orchestrated by Legendary Producer and Wu Tang Clan member, RZA. For the 14h Episode of “I Got More To Say” Host Cato III is joined by Legendary DJ and Radio Personality DJ Chris G! Born and Raised in Rochester, New York, Chris's 30 year career in music started from a dream as a young man to work in music behind the scenes. After carrying crates and studying under local Rochester DJ's, he embarked on a career in the national guard where he was taught how to use Technics 1200 turntables. Upon leaving the military, he returned to Rochester and began DJing parties before being asked by a friend and local radio personality to provide mixes for their radio show at the University of Rochester. He eventually became the show's in-house DJ and then started his own show which he eventually transferred to the Rochester Institute of Technology after he was recommended by fellow Rochester Dj and friend DJ Green Lantern. While doing college radio, Chris broke many Hip-Hop artist records in the city of Rochester including Jay-Z, Big L, Big Pun, Busta Rhymes Nas, and More! 30 years later, he still runs “Straight From the Underground on FM '' on 100.9 WXIR, one of the longest running Hip Hop Radio Shows in the country where Cato III co-host alongside him. For the 11th episode of “I Got More To Say” Cato is joined by Rochester CIty Councilman, CEO, Business Owner, Real Estate Developer, Barber, and Author, Pastor Willie Lightfoot! Pastor Will was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and was the son of elected City Official Willie Walker Lightfoot. Originally he had aspirations of being a rapper, but after his rap crew's set was sabotaged at a talent show where the winner won a record deal, he enrolled in the United States Air Force where he served 12 years and fought in Operations Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom, respectively. Pastor also served as a Fireman in Monroe County for 22 years and 2 years in the National Guard. I met Marquel while we were both students at Oswego State University, where I was inspired by his musical ability and we eventually started a brotherhood that has turned into a 6 year friendship. Born and Raised in Buffalo, New York, Marquel adapted quickly to his city's music scene and began crafting his own raps around the age of 9 after being inspired by his uncle to become an artist.
