“Born Kevin van Drecht in the Netherlands, Kevan Dre is a 21-year-old upcoming rapper, producer, songwriter and engineer. At a young age Kevin fell in love with music from the likes of Lil Wayne and Bay Area artists E-40 and Mac Dre. From playing the organ at his grandparents' house to building his own studio and recording actual songs that could take you places. In the summer of 2018 he started messing around with different DAW's and made his first beats. As soon as he got the hang of producing, Kevin started writing songs and rapping the following year. On May 21st 2019 he finally released his first single called “Drifting Off” with Italian singer Marco Finotti under his old artist name “KD”. Between then and January 2020 Kevin continued to release numerous singles featuring artists around the globe. After a year of releasing songs as KD, Kevin and the label he was under decided it was time to rebrand to something more unique. He eventually landed on “Kevan Dre”, which takes parts of his real name, and pays homage to artists like Mac Dre and Dr. DRE. On July 3rd Kevin officially came back to the rap scene under Kevan Dre with his debut single called “Lonely” featuring Miami based artist Don Jones, which amassed over 4000 streams. He then continued releasing singles like “Hurt”, which amassed over 10.000 streams, Need That, which surpassed 4500 streams, and overseas, surpassing 16.000 streams. Inspired by artists like E-40 and Mac Dre, to G-Eazy and P-Lo, Kevan Dre is set to bring American Hip Hop and West Coast Hip Hop to western Europe.” Kevan and I speak about his life ambition in becoming an MC and his interactions with hip hop. Terri-One is an American Hip Hop artist/producer based out of Detroit, MI. A seeker of justice, he is determined to use his voice to bring knowledge to the people and speak truth to power. Terri-One has been a fixture on Detroit’s rap circuit for many years, allowing him to speak to the state of the world with hard earned wisdom and rare clarity. Born Terione Wilson, the young artist teamed up with Elluzionz to form the group Darksick in 1996, calling himself T-Will. In 1999, they both went on to collaborate with a group called Known Felons. Each group achieved moderate success, but Wilson eventually set out to expand his skill set so that he could carry on as a solo artist. He enrolled at The Recording Institute Of Detroit, where he learned production and engineering from Motown legends, all while continuing to improve his skills as an artist. Wilson reemerged in 2015, after what he describes as “an awakening to his true voice.” He dubbed himself Terri-One, a name representing his newfound mixture of humbleness and authenticity. The O in one is capitalized to represent the divine spark inside the artist. After many years in the game, Terri-One has emerged as a truly important voice worth paying attention to. Whilst their musical collaboration was fused by this common thread, their backgrounds are quite different, which creates an exciting dynamic to their productions and live shows. Christian has been a Berlin native since Birth. Having grown up East of the Berlin Wall, he absorbed the unique spirit of freedom that came along with the fall of the wall in 1989. There were new spaces opening up in the city that were instantly being explored by an unleashed youth who were thirsty for freedom and exci- tement. Techno became the soundtrack to this new way of life. These experiences have defined Christian’s approach to his music and creativity. Takis meanwhile came from the South West of Germany. Growing up near a US Army barracks his musical roots were characterized by American Hip Hop culture and everything related to it like break dancing and street art. In his teens he started producing beats, writing lyrics in English and performing as a rapper. It was during this time that he realized his love of performing and entertaining on stage. He also developed instrument skills on keyboards, guitars, drums and all kinds of percussion, this developed his passion for composing and songwriting. Like all artists being in the studio is only the starting point, Boot Slap quickly started getting booked, and developed their suspense-packed DJ/Live sets, which is an energetic blend of DJing, playing percussion and vocals. This has led to sets at world renowned clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Bar 25, Tresor, Eden Beach Club and many more around the globe. As more music is being produced in the studio their sets are getting more populated by their own productions, which of course with the skill sets they have between them can be played live to create a stunning show. Boot Slap encapsulates the best of their East meets West experiences. From very different backgrounds they have a shared love and passion for their sonic vision, a sonic vision that merges elements of house and techno with influences from pop, nu-disco and soul. Performed in a captivating DJ/Live set, with music that’s loved and curated by world class labels these guys are starting to fly!

Q.Z. Tha Leader is an American Hip-Hop recording artist, songwriter and producer from Biloxi, Mississippi now residing in Portland, Oregon. A true renaissance artist of his generation whom takes pride in writing, producing, and arranging all of his own music. Q.Z. has opened for some of the greatest in hip-hop like Juvenile, Mystikal, and Choppa. He is best known for his 2013 viral internet hit Black Russian. The song and the accompanying video racked up over 37k views in little over a week. Having been signed to indie major labels in the past, Q.Z. prefers the freedom that the independent route provides. Releasing music to the people that support him is what Q.Z. values the most. In 2014, the southern producer and wordsmith released a collaborative EP titled Moments Of Genius Opus: Part 1 independently. The opus was Q.Z.'s 3rd solo effort. The EP was featured on over 90 blogs and spawned the viral hits Monte' Carlo and Blood Stained Chanel. Q.Z. dropped the follow up, Moments Of Genius Opus Part: 2 ten months later. The project received rave reviews led by the self produced track, Blame Me. Balloons In Tha Wind is Q.Z.’s latest offering in 2017. The gritty drum work quantifies the sonics from hip-hop’s golden age. This record is a nod to those crate digging, analog days. When music was meant to be felt, rather than heard.

Mind your Shamblepockets, as the Castful Podger is on the loose and oh boy does he loves rifling. Yes, it's an Oliver reference. Hooray. Paddy makes a life-changing discovery based on a certain American Hip-Hop artist, Laurie delves into the brand new works of a certain Little Wychwell based author, and the bingbongbuddies get a little misty eyed when talking about death. As an MC, Shanté was renowned for her ability to freestyle (improvise) entire songs. "Roxanne's Revenge" was an example, reportedly written as it was recorded—in one take. However, the original version of the song was rerecorded after UTFO sued over the usage of its original backing track; the new version featured slightly different music with less profanity. People are most familiar with this version, which appears on the original 12-inch single released in 1984, with the original on the reverse side.
