Kobe Warner is a 20-year-old non-binary singer/songwriter, rapper, and model, but they're also an endlessly opinionated indidivual with a minor pop culture obsession. All of these experiences, opinions, and obsessions intersect on KOBLIZZY, a no-filter po
Hey y'all, it's Kobe Warner! It's been almost eight months since I've sat down to talk to you, and as you well know: *almost* everything has changed. The most notable change is probably that I'm no longer a Georgia resident; I moved to NYC on January 31, 2025! I've been living here officially for a month and half now, and it's already been a surprising journey every step of the way thus far. From being on The Drew Barrymore Show with Chris Appleton and seeing my first Broadway show, to exploring the city and making new friends, all while experiencing growing pains and the reality of my expectations… to the say the very least, I have a lot to catch you up on. The Grammys and The Oscars also happened and Beyoncé finally (and deservedly) won her AOTY prize. But most importantly: Gaga released Mayhem this past week so obviously this is where the SOTWs come from— Killah & How Bad Do U Want Me are my standouts today. Also obsessed with Garden of Eden because I have ears. All this and so much more on episode 74 of KOBLIZZY, now coming to you from New York City. xo, KW https://www.koblizzy.com https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hello! There's a lot to cover this week. From Kamala Harris relieving Joe Biden of his campaign duties for the 2024 Democratic ticket to Sonya Massey's tragic & unjust passing, and that doesn't even scratch the surface. Céline Dion gave a masterclass in performance as she closed the Paris Olympics and I also discuss Gaga & Beyoncé's contributions to the event. I dig into something that I've recently found words for- a blind spot in my queer experience... more on this. All this on KOBLIZZY 71 xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hello everybody! My name is Kobe, this is KOBLIZZY. This week's episode is a little all over the place. From my nutty Washington D.C. trip to crazy current events, constant TSA pat-downs, a blood disorder flare up, “everything shower” controversy… lions, tigers, bears. Oh my, it's just too much. I do my best to break it all down, after all that is what we do here. In true KOBLIZZY fashion, I share with you all my current music favorites: some Destiny's Child, lots of Aretha Franklin, and a Blackout caused by Britney Spears. All this & more on episode 70 of KOBLIZZY! xo linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! It literally blows my mind to write that exactly two years ago today, I posted the very first episode of KOBLIZZY. The episode is entitled "music" and it's an audio-only pod of me breaking down my favorite playlists at the time, which is very on brand & one of my favorite pastimes. What inspired me to create the KOBLIZZY podcast, however, was attending RuPaul's Drag Race Werq the World tour in 2022. I've seen the show again since then, but this was my first opportunity to see a drag show of that caliber. My mom & I were front row AND I SWORE TO GOD that Jaida Essence Hall was making eyes at me. Like I swear she kept looking at me. Swear. But I digress. This experience inspired this platform, and ever since then I've just been yapping. And yapping. Thank you for watching or listening! I'm endlessly grateful to you all. I also break down my top 12 albums of time!! That's actually what this episode is about lol. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! This week on KOBLIZZY I'm breaking down my top 12 favorite music videos of all time, in no particular order. I was inspired to make this episode at Pride because the gay people I know love to re-watch nostalgic videos we think are iconic. The art of music videos is largely lost nowadays, in my opinion, because MTV & YouTube viewership are declining. People don't really see them nowadays, unless it's a 9:16 clip on TikTok. Back in the day a good video made your song a hit, and these MVs are the best! All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
NYC Pride 2024 was such a movie! We genuinely had the best time. In this special episode of KOBLIZZY, I recap all of our weekend festivities and the music that underscored the whole thing. The SOTW is Joyride by Kesha. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! This week's episode of KOBLIZZY is all about Pride! Well, mostly about Pride, and just how important it remains as a fixture in queer culture during these turbulent times. I break down every time I've attended Pride since coming out 6 years ago now- including my first Pride in Virginia Beach and multiple NYC Pride moments. Before that, I talk about lots of new music including but not limited to The Boy is Mine Remix by Ariana Grande, Brandy & Monica, Dopamine by Normani, and Brat by Charli xcx. Next week's episode will be a few days delayed because I'll be traveling home from NYC. Not the first time KOBLIZZY has been late, but definitely the first time I've planned for it. Lol. All this & more! xo https://koblizzy.com https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! On Episode 65, I recap my weekend trip to Boston as well seeing Challengers (for the third time lol) & Inside out 2 which I loved! All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hello friends! It's been a while. Life has been weird & busy, but frankly there's no time for life updates. Tonight when the clock strikes midnight, I will turn 22 years old... but more importantly I will be dropping TWO SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surprise!!!!! If you follow me on Instagram, you already know about Star... but tonight's release will also include a second song called Tea!!! These birthday bops come just in time for all your summer events, so please add them both to your party playlists people!! In episode 64 of KOBLIZZY, I also discuss how much I've been loving Sabrina Carpenter, my complicated feelings about The Tortured Poets Department, and what I've been up to recently. All this & more! xo https://koblizzy.com
Hey everybody! Long time no see. KOBLIZZY is back & so am I, but not without explanation. I decided to take a break after my dog's passing almost a month ago, but it's time to get back to it. This week, after memorializing Mugsy, I discuss everything that happened while I was away: Taylor Swift's new album, Espresso, Anne Hathaway, Celine Dion, Challengers, Law Roach, Conan Gray, and so forth. I also give you a lil life update regarding what I've done during my break. All this & much more. Xo https://koblizzy.com
Hi all! This week I break down Chlöe Bailey's new single 'Boy Bye,' which I love! Chlöe & her sister are both incredibly talented & versatile. ATL hoe! I finally talk all things 'Deeper Well' by Kacey Musgraves. I love everything Kacey has ever done and her fifth solo album is no exception. I also have a deeper (well) conversation about colorism & privilege when it comes to racial identity. This is something that's always topical, but especially right now considering the current climate of the Real Housewives of Potomac. The housewives franchise always walks a line regarding what is "okay" or not, but what's happened on season 8 in unprecedented & undeniably shameful. All this & more! xo https://koblizzy.com
Heyyyy y'all! You already know what time it is. This week I'm digging into all things 'Eternal Sunshine' by Ariana Grande. While I am extremely late to this party, I've been afforded plenty of time to get accustomed to this record and... I LOVE IT! Ariana's first concept album includes motifs of questioning your current relationship, ending it, and moving on to another you clearly prefer. I fantasize about it all time. The music feels very Y2K pop & R&B, while the overall theme is based on the 2004 film 'Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.' This album is well done, catchy, and the music & vocal production work is stunning. I also breakdown my love for one of the most iconic reality TV shows of all time, Dance Moms. I've been rewatching the show for the first time since I first watched it as a kid, and my opinions have definitely shifted with time. I also had the privilege of seeing Tiny Habits live in Atlanta on their first headline tour, and that definitely comes up. The SOTW is 'Tyrant' from Beyoncé's 'COWBOY CARTER.' All this & more xo https://koblizzy.com
This album is NUTS! Ever since its release, I've been listening exclusively to COWBOY CARTER by Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter herself. This artist doesn't just reinvent her sound- she transforms masterfully & always maintains her own sense of self in the art. Beyoncé is second to NOBODY! Argue with your mother. And the legends agree- we know this thanks to cameos from Dolly P & Mr. Willie Nelson, as well as Linda Martell. I cover every inch of this album in this episode, but I'm sure I'll find more to say about in the future. I also discuss new releases from Ariana Grande & Kacey Musgraves, which I plan to break down more in a coming episode. All this & more! xo https://koblizzy.com
Hey y'all! This week on KOBLIZZY, I fawn over Dune: Part Two. It's just that good. I love movies, but I'm not usually a huge fan of scientific fiction. Dune definitely has crossover ability that supersedes the specifics of its genre. I do find, however, that many series' of the Dune variety (ie; Star Wars, The Hunger Games) have foundational plot points that center colonialism & exploitation. This is another theme I explore in this episode. All this & more! xo koblizzy.com
Hey everybody! In honor of Beyonce's highly anticipated country record coming March 29, I thought it would be appropriate to dig into the country genre at large. A decent part of my childhood growing up in Georgia was influenced by country music & I developed a fondness for the genre early on. From Taylor Swift to Sugarland, Charlie Pride to Johnny Cash. Yola, The War & Treaty, Lainey Wilson. The list goes on. Song by song, I break down my personal country playlist that includes tracks from every era of my lifetime thus far. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! This week on KOBLIZZY I'm covering Beyoncé's HISTORY MAKING, RECORD BREAKING #1 Billboard Hot 100 & Country single “Texas Hold ‘Em.” I love Beyoncé & have taken this opportunity to further contextualize her career at large, as well as her impact on the music industry. I also dig into a story about trifling chiropractic practice operators that have no business being so opinionated & nosy. They're also anti-vaxxers. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Howdy y'all! This week I'm discussing what has the potential to be Beyonce's most ingenious album announcement ever, complete with a concept that is equally enthralling. Her upcoming COUNTRY album, currently untitled, will drop on March 29. After hinting towards the project at the end of her Super Bowl commercial with Verizon, Beyoncé took to her socials to post an album announcement video. Shortly after, her brand new singles “16 Carriages” & “Texas Hold ‘Em” dropped on all streaming platforms. Masterpieces. I also dig into all things Super Bowl LVIII- the Chief's overtime victory, Usher & his special guests at the Apple Music halftime show, Reba, Post Malone, Andra Day, and more. I even unbox a “HOMECOMING” vinyl I received as a gift less than 4 hours before Beyonce's surprise album announcement & single drop!! Like what in the manifest destiny? This episode is stacked!!! Shoutout to my girl Kacey Musgraves- she has a new album coming out April "Deeper Well." All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey everybody! This week on KOBLIZZY I'm discussing all things Grammys! Including but not limited to: Miley Cyrus winning her first Grammy, SZA winning three in one night, Billie Eilish winning four, Olivia Rodrigo's snub & Taylor Swift breaking the record for AOTY wins. I get into my favorite performances & surprise appearances as well. Also, Happy Black History Month! I open the episode discussing the Black experience in the entertainment industry & clarify my position in a huge conversation laced with nuance & struggle. I hope I can make you proud. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! In Episode #53 of KOBLIZZY, I'm talking about Megan Thee Stallion's new single 'HISS' & some of the controversy that has followed. I also talk about new film Miller's Girl, my Dance Moms rewatch & show some of the bracelets I've been making recently. All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey everybody! Another Tuesday, another KOBLIZZY!! This week I'm digging into quite literally the best three-movie-run I've ever seen at AMC Theatres: The Iron Claw, American Fiction & the theatrical release of the 2020 Disney film Soul. Reneé Rapp gave what might be the best vocal performance I've ever heard on SNL this past Saturday night, with host Jacob Elordi & appearances by Megan Thee Stallion & Rachel McAdams. Like… whaaaat?! All this & more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hello everybody!! Happy New Year! Long time, no KOBLIZZY— but here I am! In this episode, I talk about twelve distinct songs that I've been loving recently. These tracks span various genres & time periods (& really have nothing to do with each other lol.) I created a playlist of these songs for both Spotify & Apple Music users, both included in my Linktree. I also discuss some current pop culture events & update you on what I've been up to during my hiatus. All this & more! https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hey y'all! This week I'm breaking down Troye Sivan's new album "Something To Give Each Other" and the music videos for singles 'Rush,' 'Got Me Started,' and 'One of Your Girls' in great detail. I love this era of Troye! I had the distinct pleasure of attending Reneé Rapp's Snow Angel Tour in Atlanta with my friend Lindsey. That show was f****** fire!!!!!! Reneé is a boss and the openers Towa Bird and Alexander 23 were incredible. The SOTW is 'lighthouse' by Kelly Clarkson. All this and more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hi all! A special thanks to SHOUTOUT ATLANTA for the recent feature — “Meet Kobe Warner | Singer, Rapper, Actor, and Model.” The full article is included in my Linktree! This week I'm discussing *tons* of recent hot topics including but not limited to Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce, Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé performing in Houston, the end of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, the new American Horror Story featuring Kim Kardashian, the very corny George Santos, Coco Gauff winning the U.S. Open, and Taylor Swift's 2020 masterpiece, “Folklore.” The SOTW is ‘Got Me Started' by Troye Sivan, ‘Hands' by Kylie Minogue, ‘The Wedding Song' by Reneé Rapp, and ‘BoRdErZ' by ZAYN. All this and more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Hi everybody! This week I'm breaking down my top twelve favorite Beyoncé live performances. It was truly a chore to narrow this list down to just twelve, so I've also included a few honorable mentions. The comprehensive list is written below. I also discuss Doja Cat's controversial new release "Scarlet" and Kylie Minogue's new dance record "Tension." The SOTW is 'Water From The Moon' by Celine Dion. All this and more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy Kobe's Top 12 Beyoncé Performances, in no particular order: 'Irreplaceable' at AOL Sessions 2008, 'Proud Mary' at Kennedy Center Honors 2005, Beyoncé with Prince at 46th Grammys 2004, 'Precious Lord Take My Hand' at 57th Grammys 2015, 'The Beautiful Ones/Sex On Fire' at Glastonbury 2011, her first Superbowl performance 2013, her second Superbowl performance 2016, Stevie Wonder tribute with Ed Sheeran & Gary Clark, Jr. 2015, 'The Way We Were' at Kennedy Center Honors 2008, 'All Night' at TIDAL 2016, 'At Last' at President & First Lady Obama's 2009 Inaugural Ball, and 'Listen' at the Oprah Winfrey Show 2006.
Heyyy! This week I'm spilling my GUTS. You already know that I'm celebrating my girl Olivia Rodrigo's sophomore album, its music videos, and all my favorite songs! I recently had the distinct pleasure of meeting the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8, Jimbo, and she was so kind. I show our M&G photos, as well as my photos with Nicole Paige Brooks From Atlanta Georgia, Jorgeous, Bob TDQ, and Monét X Change. I break down the 2023 MTV VMAs, including Taylor Swift's nine wins and Nicki Minaj's iconic performance (and more!). I also discuss the first and second episodes of season four of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and gush about how much I love Lisa Barlow. The SOTW is 'False Alarm' and 'Ordinary Life' by The Weeknd. All this and more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy

Hey everybody! This week's audio only episode covers a lot, as per usual. There are tons of new releases to discuss including Snow Angel by Reneé Rapp, Jaguar II by Victoria Monét, Used to Be Young by Miley Cyrus, and the tenth anniversary deluxe version of Yours Truly by Ariana Grande. I also update you on the ongoing Colleen Ballinger drama and mention the headlines about everybody and they mama dropping Scooter Braun's management company. Speaking of spider boy, Taylor Swift is releasing an Eras Tour documentary in North American movie theaters starting this October- already got my tickets! And of course I talk about Beyoncé… it wouldn't be KOBLIZZY if I didn't. All this and more! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
Heyyy y'all! Long time, no see!!! I'm back this week to discuss what I'm calling POP TOPICS (literally just pop culture hot topics lol) and MY GOD there is a lot to talk about! From Beyoncé and the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, to Tory Lanez's sentencing, to Keke shading her baby daddy in an Usher music video, to the Real Housewives of New York & Atlanta, to Lizzo's lawsuit and Donald Trump's 4th indictment. Buckle up, b*tch! All these things (and more!) on this extra special episode of KOBLIZZY. The SOTW is 'cut' by Tori Kelly, 'Angel' by Halle Bailey, and 'Never Can Say Goodbye' by Jackson 5. Enjoy! xo https://linktr.ee/koblizzy
SOTW: Standing on the Sun - Beyoncé, Mr. Vegas MOOD 4 EVA - Beyoncé, Jay Z, Childish Gambino https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hi everybody! I attended the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR this passed Saturday night, and I have truly never seen anything like it. Not only was it one of the most fun nights of my life, but it also truly is the best concert I have ever seen. There was a perfect balance professionalism, production value, and personality. This episode of KOBLIZZY is devoted almost entirely to Beyoncé, but I also briefly get into the recently announced SAG-AFTRA strike that is stopping production on essentially all union TV/movie projects. This is in effort to get actors (and writers of WGA) a fair deal; they are not currently making a livable wage off of their work. All this and more on this week's KOBLIZZY! SOTW: Rush by Troye Sivan https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all! My name is Kobe Warner, and this week we're celebrating the release of Speak Now [Taylor's Version]!! I break down my favorite re-recorded tracks, dig into the vault tracks, and talk about the 'I Can See You' music video feat. Taylor Lautner, Joey King, & Presley Cash. I mention that I'm going to see Beyoncé in Nashville literally TOMORROW (as I write this on July 14) and I'm SO EXCITED! I tell a story about TTI fell down the stairs in high school and broke my knee right before a show where I had to... walk on my knees. It was a mess. I also circle back to the Colleen Ballinger conversation of last episode and give some updates. SOTW: I Can See You - Taylor Swift https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all - this episode is kinda gonna be a lot. For the first (about) 10 minutes, it's a light hearted discussion about my second NYC Pride and my second RuPaul's Drag Race Werq the World experiences - both were so fun! Then, the conversation shifts to a heavier discussion about one of my childhood favorite YouTube creators, Colleen Ballinger. She's been exposed by various different people online for many different transgressions. Some of the topics discussed in this podcast are very serious and might be triggering to some individuals, while some of the accusations fall on the more frivolous side due to odd nature of the Miranda Sings character. While I discuss many of Colleen's recent scandals in this episode, it isn't intended to be educational or treated as fact and I think I'm supposed to use the word allegedly so I don't get sued. So, allegedly. But y'all know the tea... and if you don't, enjoy this week's episode of KOBLIZZY! SOTW: Padam Padam - Kylie Minogue vampire - Olivia Rodrigo https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey everybody! This Friday I'm breaking down my top 12 favorite live performances of all time! This list includes Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Yebba, Shoshana Bean, Kristin Chenoweth, Mariah Carey, and more... I hope you enjoy this episode! The YouTube playlist of all these performances is linked below. https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey everybody, welcome to KOBLIZZY! This week I'm celebrating queerness in all capacities, and specifically making a point to uplift drag artists and trans/non-binary peoples. This past week, I was afforded the distinct pleasure of meeting Jorgeous from RuPaul's Drag Race S14 at a gay bar in Atlanta! She was so gracious, and it was a pleasure to talk to her for a few minutes and take some photos. She also lit the stage on firrrreeee! I posted an iPhone video of one of her numbers on my personal TikTok account @koblizzy. I talk about how much I love drag in general and how I would love to be a drag queen… the only thing that has kept me from it this long is how much goes into it - hair removal, make-up artistry, wig-styling, garment-making, padding, pantyhose, tucking… OH MY! On June 11, non-binary Broadway performers J. Harrison Ghee (Some Like it Hot) and Alex Newell (Shucked) made Tony Awards history by becoming the first two out non-binary actors to win Leading Actor in a Musical and Featured Actor in a Musical, respectively. Thank you, God! I hope you enjoy this episode! I love y'all and I'll see you next time! xo SOTW: Haute & Champagne Shit by Janelle Monae https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all! Today is my 21st birthday and that's complicated for me, so I talk a lot about that. I obsess over Catie Turner, one of my singer/songwriter favorites, as I attended her concert this past week in Atlanta. I also mention some new developments regarding my social accounts- follow the show on TikTok @koblizzyshow! Hey y'all- Happy Pride…? This week on KOBLIZZY we're digging into why Pride feels different this year. I also discuss rainbow washing; the process corporations enact to capitalize off of Pride & LGBTQIA+ peoples that involves covering merchandise in rainbows and other Queer symbolism in effort to feign support and acceptance. While it's nice to feel represented in stores and through marketing... it's a cash grab, people. I mention Stan Twitter VS. Matty Healy & Taylor Swift, a situation I didn't feel inclined to comment on until Ice Spice joined the narrative. At the end of the episode, I get into RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 8 - spoilers present. I hope you enjoy this episode! See you next week xo SOTW: You've Got To Learn by Nina Simone What's Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner All I Wanna Do by Sugarland https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all- this episode covers quite a bit! I discuss the writers strike and how artists are being f*cked over by the current streaming-based model, as well as the highly anticipated Barbie movie and the newly released live-action masterpiece, The Little Mermaid! Halle Bailey's Ariel is BEYOND. HBO Max has finally made the dumbest branding transition ever to its new name Max, and I broke my phone again. I also get into the backstory of the butterfly tattoo on the back of my left hand. All this and more on KOBLIZZY! Until next time xo SOTW: Dance The Night by Dua Lipa https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all! This week's episode of KOBLIZZY is devoted to breakdown of my top 12 all-time favorite Tiny Desk performances! Y'all know I'm gonna take any opportunity to talk about Beyoncé, so we're talking about the start of Beyoncé's RENAISSANCE World Tour! I'm also discussing my slow transition to all-Apple products, and the value of music as an outlet to access nostalgia. SOTW: Told Ya by Chlöe feat. Missy Elliot https://linktr.ee/kobewarner/
Hey y'all! This week I went down a rabbit hole regarding a couple different things... most importantly the announcement of Speak Now (Taylor's Version!) I also tried the final flavor of Chamberlain Coffee's new canned latte drinks. I mentioned Beyoncé too, but when don't I? I concluded with showing the contents of my day-to-day tote bag, just for shiggles... LOL! Enjoy this episode, y'all! See you next time. SOTW: Sparks Fly by Taylor Swift https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all, this week's KOBLIZZY is extra special! After loving Taylor Swift since childhood, I finally got to see her live at The Eras Tour - Night 1 in Atlanta. Missy Elliot was in attendance (like... omg), AND Chlöe brought out her sister Halle and gave me my entire life during a Chloe x Halle moment. I also complain more about Elon Musk's handling of Twitter, and try Emma Chamberlain's new Walmart-exclusive canned lattes. This and more on KOBLIZZY, enjoy! WE HAVE A POP EMERGENCY! Endless Summer Vacation is HERE, and I am so excited! I have been literally waiting on baited breath ever since she announced this record because I loved the promo and I love Miley. She did not disappoint! In my opinion, it's a layered record with something for everybody. In this episode, I break down ESV track by track, as well as gush over both the Disney+ Backyard Sessions and the River music video. Love y'all! https://linktr.ee/kobewarner
Hey y'all! This week I talk about colorism & how privilege is informed by proximity to whiteness. Of course I'm still me, so the anecdote I use to introduce this conversation is the treatment of RHOP's Candiace Dillard-Bassett. You don't have to be a housewives fan to be privy to this conversation, though, as I just used the gaslighting of Candiace as an example of blatant colorism. As a lightskin/mixed black person, I feel a certain responsibility to stand up for other black folks (especially black women) whose voices are often drowned out by the noise. With this being said: I'd like to acknowledge that I am aware I'm not an ideal leader for a conversation like this and welcome any of you to reach out to me if there's something you feel I missed or misrepresented.
