What do a questionable bowl of vegan ramen, a late-night household catastrophe, and a best-friend ranking crisis have in common? That would be Laura and Erik! This episode is pure, unfiltered chaos. It all started with a bowl of vegan ramen. Harmless, right? Wrong. What followed was a chain of events so outrageous, so horrifying, and somehow so ridiculously funny that everyone involved may need therapy. Laura shares every unbelievable detail from the Saturday night disaster that turned her home into ground zero for one of the most unforgettable incidents in Laura Cain After Dark history. Meanwhile, Erik is reevaluating his entire friendship hierarchy. Laura currently holds the coveted #2 spot on his Best Friends List, but after one particular phone call, her ranking may be in serious jeopardy. Will she survive the cut? As if that wasn't enough, Erik had his own weekend adventure involving stretches, surprises, and a story you'll never see coming. Then it's time for a bangin' edition of the Double D Showbiz News featuring juicy Kevin Hart gossip, the shocking status of Madonna's long-discussed biopic, and all the entertainment headlines worth obsessing over. It's gross. It's hilarious. It's slightly traumatic. And it's one of those episodes you'll be talking about for a long time. Grab your headphones, avoid suspicious ramen, and join us for an hour of laughs, mayhem, friendship drama, and showbiz insanity. Thanks for being part of this family!! Love your podcast!
Welcome to The Treehouse Show, where stupid news, celebrity birthdays, and questionable life choices all come together under one roof.We kick things off with one of the internet's most heated debates: Is it okay to throw your bagged dog poop into someone else's trash can? A viral social media post sparked a surprisingly fierce argument, and we weigh in on whether it's harmless convenience or a neighborhood crime worthy of public shaming. Then we head to the UK, where a frustrated farmer finally reached his breaking point after people repeatedly parked on his property and damaged his fences. His solution? Covering their cars in manure. Was it justified revenge or did he take things too far?In Celebrity Birthdays, we tackle one of the greatest mysteries of our time: How did Billy Ray Cyrus end up dating Elizabeth Hurley? We also discuss the latest Hollywood train wreck, the troubled Masters of the Universe movie, and Jared Leto's bizarre situation. Why is he reportedly being paid millions while being discouraged from promoting the film? Is Jared Leto secretly cursed? And finally, we meet what might be the United Kingdom's answer to the world's most entertaining rednecks—a man with an unusual obsession involving rats, an incredible collection of t-shirts, and a lifestyle that leaves us with far more questions than answers.Join Trey, Dan, and Rebekah for another episode packed with funny news stories, celebrity commentary, weird people, internet drama, and the kind of conversations that make you glad someone else is making worse decisions than you are.LINKS:Woman Uses Neighbor's Garbage Can For Dog PoopUK Farmer Has Enough of Tourist's ShitIs Jared Leto The Problem?About the show:Leave your worries outside and join Dan O'Malley, Trey Trenholm, and their hilarious guests for laughs about funny news and viral stories with ridiculous commentary inside the Treehouse Show.
A grocery shopper bought a bag of lettuce and found a live frog in the bag; also, did you choose the right person to marry? A lot of us didn't. Social media is as harmful as smoking plus, 90% of us are right handed, and science says they know why. A Chicago man stole a police car while the cops watched, and some athletes say no to Gatorade and yes to pickle juice. A man is suing Carnival cruise lines because he says the deck was too hot, plus, what's the creepiest thing a woman ever said to you? And a dog accidentally fired a shot gun and hit a woman in the arm. Pretty good aim if you ask me. We've got a seat for you!
A feces filled fun rant about how sh*itty this drama is in our daily lives...dog owner or not. Let's flush out the weirdness of this canine complication.PS: you'll learn two things you never knew about a dog pooping.
I'm always asking questions. The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as… Why are we choosing people to lead who would've banned from such a position ten years ago? Alma Ohene-Opare grew up in Ghana during military coups, famine, and dictatorship. He watched his mother build schools and a university from nothing. He lost five dogs to DDT poisoning at age 6. He made a pinhole camera because a physics book told him to — and then realized he could never develop the film because the resources simply didn't exist. That moment broke something in him… and lit a fire that burned until he finally touched American soil.In this nearly 3-hour conversation, Alma explains:- Why America is the only place on earth where you can wake up with an idea and have a working prototype by sundown - Why socialism always contains “a teaspoon of dog poop” no matter how good it smells - Why true justice can only come from God, not government - How his mother educated over 10,000 kids with the motto: “We train leaders, others train the rest” - The day he took the oath of citizenship and finally put his hand over his heart during the national anthem after 18 years of waiting - Standing at the exact spot where Charlie Kirk was assassinated and what it means for all of usThis is not political talking points.
