Mairead Robinson chats to Rhona Kelly who grew up in Killiney, Co. Dublin and went to St Joseph of Cluny school from the age of 3, until she did her leaving cert in 1970. Some years after she left school, she began to think about all the girls who had been in her class, and wondered what they were all doing now. She embarked on a two year search to track everybody down, and began to organize school reunions which have been incredibly popular and she is now an inspiration to many who would like to trace their childhood and teenage friends and see where life has brought them since.

Today's episode, “Recognizing Your Value,” features my guest, January Donovan. January is a self-worth strategist, best-selling author, and founder of The Woman School. She founded The Woman School to fight the injustice against women's self-worth, and the company went from 0 to 30 countries in under 2 years and grew 1000%. She believes it is time for our world to recognize the value of the ‘whole' woman and not just what the culture dictates makes her valuable. In this episode, Ken and January discuss what it means to be valuable today. Our society has trained us to think we have value with the perfect body, possessions, power, prestige, and how much money we have. However, January says that we are all born irreplaceable and unrepeatable. Therefore, our value can never lie in the external. When women don't understand that, they endure unnecessary hardship.January says there is a systematic approach to rewiring this mindset. The first step is awareness. The second step is to rewire your brain. And the third step is to build new skills. Why is this so important? January says when a woman doesn't see the value in herself, she won't see it in others. Today's guest January Donovan is the founder of The Woman School and The Wholeness Coaching School. She is a #1 best-selling author, an entrepreneur, and a mother of 8 children. She has over 20 years of experience training women. January had a bold dream to build a school designed to train women with the practical skills to manage their lives. She spent 15 years training women for free before realizing that in order to reach millions, she had to learn to build a business and do so while prioritizing her family. The business grew from 0 to a multimillion dollar company reaching 40 countries in under three years and landing her the title as one of Forbes Magazine's top coaches. She then went on to found The Wholeness Coaching School where she teaches men and women to build their own coaching businesses using mindset and skill-set training to design every part of their life. She co-founded The Man School with her husband and quickly expanded to The Woman School en Español.January believes that life without skills is hard, skills give us choices. We suffer unnecessary overwhelm, stress, and anxiety simply because we are undertrained. We battle feeling like a failure when in reality, the world has failed to prepare us. We can no longer afford to hand over a generation of men and women who doubt their worth and give up on who they were created to be. We cannot afford a life without training, we need to skill-up. Ladies, listen, You are good enough! Again for the people in the back, YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH! Today I sat down with January Donovan, founder of The Woman School, where we talked about her passion for helping women regain their worth through tools, support, and services that she has spent the last 20 years perfecting. About the Guest: January Donovan is a self-worth strategist, best-selling author, and founder of The Woman School. She has over 20 years of experience training women. January founded The Woman School to fight the injustice against women's self-worth. The company went from 0 to 30 countries in under 2 years and grew 1000%. She believes it is time for our world to recognize the value of the ‘whole' woman and not just what the culture dictates makes her valuable. She is more than her body or her achievements, she was designed to be whole. Women today doubt if they are good enough. We battle feeling like a failure when in reality, the world has failed to prepare us. We can no longer afford to hand over a generation of women who doubt their worth, it is time women know who they are. We have a duty to equip women with practical skills and guide them to design who they are for the world. We are in the business of integrating the whole woman. January took her passion and began to train more women to build their own businesses rebuilding women's worth. This bold vision took The Woman School from 0 – 30+ countries in under 2 years. There is a hunger for this deep work. As a wife and mother of 8 children, she is fierce about integrating business and motherhood. Our professional dreams cannot be apart from our personal dreams, we have to integrate them if we want to be fulfilled. We just need the right skills and strategies. This is exactly what we train women to adopt in The Woman School. Our vision is to rebuild culture, one woman's worth at a time and we are doing it. https://thewomanschool.com/the-woman-school-masterclass-strategists/ https://www.instagram.com/thewomanschool/ About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. In this episode Jana talks with Jaguar Star about her personal journey and work in the field of feminine wisdom. Jaguar shares about the importance of following your own intuition and allowing yourself to make mistakes. Together they journey into the role of female rites of passage in our modern society and how becoming a mother nowadays often simultaneously acts as an initiation into womanhood. YOU'LL LEARN ABOUT: how to get in touch with your intuition why female rites of passage are important how becoming a mother can be a gateway to feminine wisdom ABOUT JAGUAR STAR As a body and trauma therapist, healing practitioner and facilitator in the birth field, Jaguar is on an ongoing journey of researching, learning, teaching and practicing with women, families and people in general. Her journey into these fields of work started over 20 years ago and led her to establish The Woman School in 2011 (with various name changes of the school itself along the way). This school is in constant development and now consists of a wonderful network of people. The main areas of Jaguar's work revolve around deep feminine cycles & women's health, transitional processes, threshold transitions, archetypal psychology from a feminine perspective, embodiment, and renewed access to one's intuition, imagination and creativity; as well as the creative realm of the soul. Her life's work is an ongoing process of exploring these themes deeply. RESOURCES: www.womanschool.de (German website) The Women School (this website is currently undergoing reconstruction)

If you're a sexual abuse survivor, dating and or in deep desire of changing generational patters, listen in! Kiki Rocha talks about her coaching mission that is anchored by her own story of much brokenness— incestual sexual abuse by her father, cheating, divorce, single parent mother, among other wounds. She believes women, due to the epidemic of fatherlessness, are seeing themselves, their sexuality and dating life through their unredeemed woundedness which leads to perpetuating the same generational patterns. Kiki deeply desires to change the generational direction of a woman's legacy through her self-image, sexuality and dating experience— especially Latinas!! First though, she needed to do that herself by designing a season of healing in the desert after more specifically discovering last fall that the type of abuse she endured was rape. She gives you practical tips for how to begin this journey yourself. The more a woman knows who she is, the more she can help man, her earthly counterpart, understand who he is and in this way redeem eachother's glory. On The Discerning Marriage Podcast, we accompany you on the journey to discover if marriage is God's will for you, and if you already know that you're called to marriage, we want to help you bring glory to God in your vocation. Bill left a stress-filled job in the tech industry to live on productive land, and Angela has pursued ongoing formation and her dreams for years...and then they met and got married!I don't think we reference as many works in this episode, but here are some things to check out:Bill and Angela are Catholic speakers, and here is their website: http://billandangela.com/Angela is also very involved with the Woman School: https://thewomanschool.teachable.com/If you'd like to read a super-short book about the power of dreams and connecting what we're doing now to the dreams we have, check out Matthew Kelly's book The Dream Manager: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1401303706/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_zF1NEbEJFYKK3As a final note, we talk a lot about 'desire' in the podcast, and we talked with Bill and Angela after we finished recording how a lot of people are uncomfortable with the language of entertaining our desires. Perhaps the better word would be 'hopes', as a hope is a desire that will take effort/risk, and that's the category of desire that I think we're talking about. There is some equivocation on the word 'desire', as both a generic word for something that moves us to action, and a particular word for what our passions produce in us. Clearly, we were talking about desires that move us, and the process of discerning what is worth submitting to our intellectual appetite, i.e. our will. And feel free to subscribe to this podcast as well as share it with others. Our goal is to produce faithful, formative, and conversation-starting content for Catholic disciples of Jesus who are wrestling to be missionary-minded in their normal, everyday lives-- so if that applies to you or a friend of yours, we're hoping to serve you as best as we're able!
