At the age of 7 Emma could see that her family's collection of hotel soaps and shampoos was out of control and had an idea to donate them to people who would use them. Little did she know that this thought would turn into an organization that would help those in need in Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas. Now 17 years old and a Junior in High School, Emma has decided to focus more of her donations directly to her hometown of Butler, PA.  "Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people."   follow Peace, Love and Soap on Instagram @peace.love.soap and Facebook: Peace Love and Soap Organization

Today's episode features Joyce a co-founder of Lifted Strong and Emma, a volunteer from Santa Monica, CA. These two women have become lifelong friends and share a passion to help other women. Sitting in a local Café on a Monday morning at 10am they shared their stories and many others.    The story of Lifted Strong truly began with two women joining forces in early 2019 to establish Lifted Strong Community Organization (LISCO). They saw the need for education, empowerment and advocacy amongst women in the Arusha region. Living in a male dominated community, Eva and Joyce knew something had to be done to change the views women had about themselves and the gender roles that have impacted their lives. They met through NGO work and their passion to inspire, enrich, and support the economic and social development in Tanzania is the beating heart of Lifted Strong.    visit: www.liftedstrong.org

This week on The Manifesting Misfit Podcast Laura just talks. That's right, no editing, no guests. Short, sweet and to the point. So many changes occurred for me in the past year and I have found myself struggling to find my path, but with each day I get closer. Sometimes you just need to talk.    Focus is something we all need, along with passion and purpose and when you feel like you've lost those then it seems hopeless. How do we sit in the hopelessness, get quiet and learn something about ourselves? I am happy being single and know that my person is out there I just haven't met them yet! I am OKAY with that. For now I am focusing on me, loving me and finding who the NEW ME is. What about you?

This is a story about a dog named Honey. A rags to riches story about a dog who survived HELL and came back because of fate, dedication, love and an army of people who fight for dogs just like her every day. For the ANGELS who go the distance to save these amazing creatures, Thank YOU. To all the dog parents who knew they couldn't go another moment without them in their lives, Thank YOU. Volunteers, those who donate and anyone who has made room and love for a furry family member, Thank YOU.  Dogs are tiny fur angels, they know when we are sad, when we need reminded that everything will be okay and they are ALWAYS happy.  The story you are about to hear is one of residence, love, hope, dedication, and an army of extraordinary humans who go above and beyond in saving, rehabilitating and finding homes for so many dogs! I am beyond thrilled and honored to be interviewing Thom and Lauren to share Honey's story. To say I am a Lisa Vanderpump fan is an understatement but her dedication, commitment and foundation have most definitely raised my fandom to a whole new level!! Growing up with animals and having a rescue dog of my own has created this passion in me to share, donate, volunteer any way I can and make a difference in the lives of so many amazing dogs.  The Vanderpump Dog foundation, founded in 2016, is a 501c3 dog rescue organization based out of Los Angeles, CA.
