He grew up in South Africa but now lives with his family in Yorkshire, England. After leaving school, he studied to be a teacher, but a dream to host his own radio show, coupled with what some might call a ‘lucky break' led to him dividing his time between the university classroom and the broadcasting studio of the national broadcasting corporation. Having spent a few years hosting his own radio program, he left to enter the world of education, ultimately being appointed the principal of a Christian school, all the while engaging in a lay ministry. A few years later, he was called by a church to be their lead pastor, until he relocated to England with his family nearly 10 years ago where he stepped back into the classroom for a while, and then began working with children and young people with special educational needs. During this time, he put his voice back into action, narrating over 20 Christian audiobooks as well as the King James Bible for Olive Tree. His various roles dovetailed to where he is today, coordinating the training of pastors in the majority world who have never had formal theological education with Equipping Pastors Worldwide. This position has taken him across Africa and onto the Asian sub-continent.
