As we warned, RFK Jr. got confirmed by an Israel First pharma funded congress and senate. There's a reason for that. He has met recently with the CEOs of Pfizer and Moderna as well as with Bill Gates who don't seem to be worried. In fact, he's recently stated he will not touch the vaccine schedule nor get rid of the Covid vaccines. Dr. Susan Monarez who is a longtime federal "health" bureaucrat is replacing the initial nominee David Weldon who was more in line with RFK Jr.'s views. This is just the latest evidence that the state will not save you from the state or shadow government which is of course eugenicist at its core. Not to mention the mRNA cancer vaccines being put forward by Trump with 500 billion dollars or the shift into total global technocracy while the food supply is destroyed under the guise of "Bird Flu." Some people might argue there's nothing funny about what's happening in the Middle East. But try telling that to Eric and Ryan Turkienicz, the Toronto-based brothers who created the Jewish parody news website The Daily Brine after Oct. 7. Some sample headlines: “Hamas' Work-From-Tunnel Policy Absolutely Ruining Office Culture.” “US Proposes Letting Hamas Rule The Country On Weekends Plus Every Other Thursday.” “Jewish Voice For Peace Excited To Decolonize Shavuot Just As Soon As Someone Explains To Them What Shavuot Is.” The Daily Brine started off as a side gig, an outlet for Eric Turkienicz—a lawyer by day—to leverage the time he spent performing and writing comedy at The Second City. Ryan, who works in real estate, handles the graphic design and social media. Now, with more than 20,000 followers across Instagram and Twitter, the Canada brothers have grown their part-time hustle to the point that the president of Israel invited them for an in-person meeting last week. On today's The CJN Daily, host Ellin Bessner meets the Turkienicz brothers to discuss the real meaning behind the project: to provide uplifting, biting, and amusing pro-Israel content that punches up at the antisemites and the powers that be. Professional women's sports are having a banner year in 2024. The new pro women's hockey league welcomed record-breaking numbers in January; the WNBA has produced bona fide basketball stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese; and now, just last month, news broke that a Women's Pro Baseball League will launch in 2026—and it's being spearheaded by two Jewish industry vets. One is Justine Siegal, who has racked up a Wikipedia page full of "firsts", most prominently as the first female coach hired by an MLB team. She's also coached Israel's national baseball team and founded Baseball For All, an organization that provides opportunities for girls to get involved playing baseball. Her co-founder of the WPBL is Keith Stein, the Canadian owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball club, which plays in Christie Pits. But how exactly does one start a new league from scratch? How will they find the players—and inspire young girls to take up baseball instead of softball? Justine Siegal joins the Menschwarmers for a candid conversation about her goals and challenges in starting the WPBL and shares a bit about what her life was like growing up as a Jewish girl—often mistaken for a boy. And before that interview, the hosts chat about the soccer riots that erupted in Amsterdam last week. Was it a pogrom, simple soccer hooliganism, or something in between? A new book has been released by the father-son team of Richard and Christopher Hays titled The Widening of God's Mercy- Sexuality Within the Biblical Story. I hate to be the spoiler, but the thesis is, God changes His mind and His will, so it's OK to ignore what the Bible used to say about same-sex relationships, God's intention in marriage and creation, etc., so as to embrace the current cultural insanity. Yes, great stuff, but it is what we are dealing with today. And, ironically, that concept is also behind Pope Francis' recent statements indicating, minimally, his inclusivism, and possibly even his universalism. In either case, he teaches something completely different than what Rome has taught for a very long time.

On the Friday episode of the North Shore Drive, presented by Mike's Beer Bar, the Post-Gazette's Christopher Carter and Adam Bittner weigh the Steelers' best candidates to earn their first Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections in 2024. Do Joey Porter Jr. or Keeanu Benton have better odds on the defensive side of the ball? What about George Pickens, Broderick Jones and Pat Freiermuth in Arthur Smith's run-heavy offense? How do rookies Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier fit into the equation? And do Najee Harris and Patrick Queen have the best chance to take the next step from Pro Bowl to All-Pro caliber? Our duo tackles those questions. Then later, Christopher welcomes Pirates insider Andrew Destin to discuss Paul Skenes' seven no-hit innings against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. Did manager Derek Shelton make the right call to pull him early? And where do things stand with Skenes heading into the MLB All-Star game?
