Doctors told Memphis Lafferty's parents he had only three months to live. After surviving bacterial meningitis as a baby, he lost all four limbs—but that's only the beginning of his incredible story. In this inspiring conversation, Memphis shares how faith, perseverance, overcoming addiction, and refusing to see himself as disabled helped him become a champion bodybuilder, adaptive athlete, skateboarder, mentor, and powerful voice of hope.If you've ever felt overwhelmed by life's challenges, this episode will remind you that your circumstances do not define your future.
(RV1960).

Welcome to Be Bold for Jesus MinistriesToday's Message: "When Faithfulness Feels Forgotten"Speaker: Lee Arnold LiveScripture: Jeremiah 45:1–5Have you ever thought, "Lord, I've been faithful... so why does it feel like everyone else is getting aheadexcept me?" Jeremiah 45 is the shortest chapter in the book, but it contains a powerful lesson for anyone who feelsoverlooked, discouraged, or forgotten. It centers on Baruch, Jeremiah's behind-the-scenes secretary. After years of faithful service, Baruch hit a breaking point amid national collapse. God met his discouragement byexposing his heart: "Do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not." God wasn't rebuking success; He was rebuking self-centered ambition. Sometimes God's greatest blessing is teaching usthat His glory is greater than our recognition.Key Takeaways & ReflectionVisibility vs. Significance: God notices the vital work done behind the scenes. Heaven's Hall of Fame isfilled with people most have never heard of.Faithful People Get Discouraged: Discouragement isn't proof you are outside God's will; sometimes itmeans you are right in the middle of it.Success is Obedience: Kingdom success is measured by obedience, not earthly applause or results. The Ultimate Reward: The greatest reward for serving God is not what He gives us—it is God Himself.Questions to Ask: What area am I refusing to surrender? Am I mistaking God's patience for Hispermission? If God removed everything except Himself, would He still be enough? Our mission is to equip believers to live boldly for Christ with discernment, obedience, andunwavering trust in God. Led by Lee and Jaclyn Arnold, we teach God's Word with clarity andconviction, challenging believers to surrender fully to His will.Be Bold for Jesus Conference 2026Dates: October 2–3, 2026 | Spokane, WashingtonJoin thousands of believers for powerful worship and biblical teaching. On today's Flyover Conservatives Show, we sat down with filmmaker Matt Thayer to discuss his upcoming documentary, Can You Hear Me Now?, and the growing debate over modern-day prophecy. Matt shares why he was reluctant to take on such a controversial topic, what he discovered while interviewing prophetic voices, and why one of Charlie Kirk's final interviews became a central and emotional part of the film. We also discuss discernment, spiritual deception, whether God still speaks today, and how this documentary could bring the prophetic conversation into the mainstream.TO WATCH ALL FLYOVER CONTENT: www.theflyoverapp.comFollow and Subscribe on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheFlyoverConservativesShow Matt Thayer | Spero PicturesRUMBLE: https://rumble.com/user/speropicturesLOCALS: www.speropictures.locals.com Movie About Nick: www.canyouhearmenowfilm.com Give Send Go: https://www.givesendgo.com/help-us-release-charlie-kirks-final-inte?utm_source=share Matt and Joy Thayer are filmmakers and storytellers with Sparrow Pictures, known for producing impactful, faith-driven films that inspire and challenge audiences around the world. While as the National Religious Broadcasters International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Cathy, Kerri, and Marlene enjoyed a discussion with special guest, Nick Vujicic. Nick was born in Australia, but now lives in California. He is an author, evangelist and motivational speaker whose goal is to saturate the world with the Gospel and unite the body of Christ. Since 2005, over one million people have made a decision for Christ through his ministry. Born without limbs, Nick prayed for God to give him arms and legs. Instead, Nick concluded that, if you cannot receive a miracle, then you must be a miracle for someone else.
Ashe sits down with filmmaker Matt Thayer for a wide ranging conversation about telling stories that matter in a culture that desperately needs them. From "The Trump I Know" to the upcoming theatrical release "No Limbs, No Limits," the story of Nick Vujicic, this episode is part film conversation, part theology, and part election accountability. What does authentic Christian faith look like when the camera is rolling? What does a fair election actually require? And what does it mean that Trump is now naming names on Truth Social? Ashe ties it all together with a breakdown of the 22 principles driving America's transformation program. Buckle up.

I have been looking forward to this conversation for a long time. Nick Vujicic is someone I had the privilege of getting to know first as a person before I ever sat across from him as a guest. And what you see in public is nothing compared to who he is behind the scenes. Nick was born in Australia in 1982 with no arms and no legs. Nobody knew until the moment of birth. The doctor's first words to his parents were an apology for not catching it on the sonogram and an offer to have aborted him. His mother was a nurse and the head of the birth suite at her hospital. She had seen hundreds of births. Nothing prepared her for this one. At age 10, Nick tried to take his own life. At 15 he found a Bible verse that changed everything. At 17 a janitor told him God was going to take him around the world to speak. He laughed. He has now spoken in 87 countries to over 11 million people in person. 1.5 million of them responded to the gospel. In this episode Nick talks about the suicide attempt, the bullying, how his disability was rejected as a reason for his family's green card application to America, how he was canceled by a false viral article, debanked by JP Morgan Chase, had a grenade thrown at his property and a bomb squad called, and what he calls being hijacked by his own Christian friends. He also tells the cream puff proposal story, talks about his four kids, the documentary No Limbs No Limits, and the shoes he keeps in his closet just in case God heals him. This one is everything. On this episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, hosts Rachael Culpepper and Natalie Ambrose continue their week of conversations about supporting families with differently-abled daughters. Today's discussion centers on those beautiful moments when God's power breaks through human expectations—opening new doors for connection, joy, and adventure. Too often, girls with special needs are defined by limitations instead of possibilities. But Scripture reminds us that we serve the God of the possible—the One who provides strength, purpose, and opportunity far beyond what we can imagine. When Christian families shift their perspective from focusing on what a girl can't do to discovering what she can do, entire worlds of joy and growth can open. In this episode, you'll also hear a powerful Raising Godly Girls Minute from Patti Garibay that invites parents to adopt "capable-thinking" for special needs families. From the inspiring example of Christian speaker Nick Vujicic to ministries that make outdoor adventures accessible, Patti reminds listeners that every girl has God-given abilities meant to flourish. Rachael and Natalie share personal stories about witnessing unexpected strength in loved ones, discuss the importance of avoiding limiting assumptions, and offer practical ideas for helping differently-abled girls experience meaningful outdoor activities. Their conversation is a hopeful reminder that when we approach girls with curiosity, compassion, and faith, we create opportunities for them to thrive. Because sometimes the greatest breakthroughs happen when we refuse to accept "impossible"—and instead trust that God may be preparing a girl to surprise the world. Three Things to Consider: Structure activities for success. Clearly defined, predictable activities help girls with special needs feel confident and able to participate fully in the fun. Choose connection over competition. Activities that emphasize teamwork and belonging help differently-abled girls build friendships and experience the joy of shared accomplishment. Celebrate effort, not just outcomes. Praise perseverance, courage, and participation—these moments often matter far more than winning or finishing first. Powerful Motivational Speech | Inspired by Tony Robbins1. Where Is Your Focus Going? If your focus is on achieving your goals, your attention is on the future. If your focus is on the past, you're wasting your time and energy. You can't change the past. If you focus on what's missing, you'll never move forward.Instead, be thankful for every lesson and challenge you've faced.Your failures? They were your best teachers.Gratitude is the key.You can only truly enjoy life in the here and now.We can't control the outer world. We can control only our inner world — and even that takes discipline.Too often, we react to situations instead of responding appropriately. What we can control is:Our focusThe meaning we give to situations, events, and challengesAsk yourself: What meaning will serve me best?Fear and Anger: The Two DestroyersTwo emotions will destroy your relationships, your business, and your life: Fear and Anger. You cannot be grateful and fearful at the same time. You cannot be angry and grateful simultaneously. The happiest people are also the most grateful people. So practice gratitude relentlessly.Say “thank you” — out loud or in your mind — a thousand times a day.Do that, and you will start attracting the good into your life.Practice in Private, Win in PublicProfessional singers or actors might perform for one minute on stage —but they've practiced for a thousand minutes in private. The same goes for life. You must train, prepare, and grow behind the scenes. And always connect your actions to a higher purpose. If you fall short of that purpose, you won't achieve what you're aiming for. Before you sleep tonight, ask yourself:What is my higher purpose?Purpose Can ChangeWhen I was young, I thought my purpose was to design new things as an engineer.I was very good at it.But after two near-death experiences and severe illnesses, I discovered a different purpose.I didn't choose it — life chose it for me.Self-Esteem Is EarnedSelf-esteem is not built through compliments or praise from others. It comes from doing incredibly difficult things you once thought impossible.Stop beating yourself up — it doesn't work. The people who forgive themselves the fastest are often the most successful.Look at Nick Vujicic — born with no arms and no legs — and yet he's done extraordinary things. He's deeply grateful for his life. And you dare to complain?Care About Something Bigger Than YourselfIf you find something to care about more than yourself, you won't be trapped in constant self-focus.Do you want an extraordinary life — on your terms?I never set out to create an “extraordinary” life, but I have one — because I refused to compromise my standards or my morals. It hasn't been easy.I've fought so hard for my values that I've been bullied, left alone, and rejected. But that's the price. If you can hold your standards no matter what, you've done something extraordinary for yourself. If not, you'll join the crowd of losers who numb themselves with beer, drugs, and excuses. In 2026, focus on yourself. Stay silent. Build your strength in private. Let your results speak for you.My Video: FOCUS ON YOURSELF AND STAY SILENT https://youtu.be/kX03YjAZ3ycMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast5/FOCUS-ON-YOURSELF-AND-STAY-SILENT.mp3

I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Sunday morning, the 19th of October, 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”Psalm 34:19 Then we go to Romans 5:3-4: “And not only that, (this is Paul speaking) but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.”I have never met a man or a woman, worth their salt, who has not been through a fiery trial. The Lord never promised you or me a bed or roses when we gave our lives to Him. No, He never promised us that He would take us out of the fire. When you and I gave our lives to the Lord, we gave our lives to the Lord unconditionally. He said, “I won't take you out of the fire but I will walk with you through the fire.” You remember the three men of God, Meshach, Shadrack and Abednego in the Old Testament who were thrown into that fiery furnace because of their stand for Jesus? Well, the leader came and looked in the fiery furnace. They said to each other, “there are four men in those flames. We only put three in!” Yes, the fourth one was who else? No-one but the Master Himself, Jesus Christ! The symbol of the Christian faith is a cross, and what does a cross represent? Well, it represents death, it represents pain, but it also represents resurrection and everlasting life. I want to encourage you today if you are going through a hard time, that the Lord is walking with you. Do not be afraid. Many, many years ago there was a convoy of pickups that came driving through our entrance to the farm, Shalom. It was a group of young guys who were coming in with Nick Vujicic, the Australian, the young man who was born with no arms and no legs. He was an amazing man. He touched me deeply. He was a man who was full of grace and favour of God. He really impacted my life. He brought one of his books for me and he said, “Angus, would you like me to sign it for you?” And I looked at him, I thought he was joking. I said, “Yes please, I would love that Nick,” and they put a pen in between his teeth and he signed his name, and by the way, his writing is better than I have ever seen mine. Today, look up because Jesus is walking through the fire with you.God bless you and goodbye.
The Unstoppable Power of Resilience: How to Rise Above Every Obstacle What does it really take to keep moving forward when life feels impossible? In this mashup episode, I bring you the raw, unfiltered stories of Nick Vujicic, Colin O'Brady, Danny Lee Clark, and James Lawrence—four individuals who have redefined what it means to push past pain, doubt, and impossibility. These are men who didn't just talk about perseverance—they lived it, they bled for it, and they came out the other side with lessons that will inspire you to never back down. Nick Vujicic, born without arms or legs, shares how faith, gratitude, and service transformed his life from despair to impacting millions across the globe. Colin O'Brady takes us inside the mindset that allowed him to cross Antarctica solo, proving that the limits we face are often the ones we place on ourselves. Danny Lee Clark—best known as “Nitro” from American Gladiators—opens up about his battles both in the arena and in life, showing how purpose and passion can keep you fighting long after most would quit. And James Lawrence, the “Iron Cowboy,” reveals what it took to complete 100 triathlons in 100 consecutive days, teaching us all the power of adaptation, grit, and unshakable belief in what's possible. Each of these stories is a reminder that adversity doesn't disqualify you—it equips you. These men show us that struggle isn't a sign of weakness, but the very soil where strength, character, and resilience are grown. They prove that pain can become purpose, and setbacks can become the setup for the greatest comeback of your life. I want you to walk away from this episode with the conviction that no matter where you are, no matter what you're facing, you already have what it takes to rise. It's not about avoiding obstacles—it's about facing them head-on, learning, adapting, and choosing to keep going when everything in you wants to stop. Key Takeaways: Nick Vujicic on choosing gratitude and faith over despair, even when life feels impossible Colin O'Brady's mental strategies for pushing through isolation, fear, and physical limits Danny Lee Clark's powerful reminder that passion and purpose fuel perseverance James Lawrence's lesson on adaptation: why the mind can carry you when the body wants to quit How to turn pain into purpose and setbacks into fuel for growth Why resilience is not about never falling—but about always getting back up This episode is a masterclass in grit, faith, and the unstoppable spirit of the human heart.

S.O.S. (Stories of Service) - Ordinary people who do extraordinary work
In this powerful episode, Frank Sunius takes us on a remarkable journey—from a difficult childhood in Amsterdam to wrongful imprisonment in Australia, and ultimately, to his rebirth as an inspirational speaker and author.Born to a mother who survived Japanese concentration camps and a father who valued success over connection, Frank grew up feeling unseen. To cope, he created what he calls his “Shadowland”—an imaginary refuge where he felt safe and valued. As a highly sensitive child in a world that rewarded toughness, Frank found his footing in sports. He became a skilled basketball player and tennis coach, known for his ability to unlock potential in others. But while he gave endlessly to those around him, his own needs went unmet. Burnout hit hard while working on a methadone research project in Amsterdam, leading to a severe mental health crisis.Prescribed powerful medications that caused dissociation, Frank was vulnerable. A well-meaning suggestion to take a “timeout” in Australia became a nightmare when he landed in Sydney and discovered his luggage had been tampered with—filled with drugs. Despite reporting the damaged suitcase himself, Frank was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 11 years in prison. What followed were four harrowing years behind bars—but paradoxically, it was in prison where Frank began to heal. Writing became his lifeline. His words helped medical professionals realize he had been misdiagnosed and overmedicated. When he was unexpectedly released, he faced the world homeless, penniless, and disoriented. But a chance meeting with a former tennis student led to a coaching opportunity that sustained him for 17 years. Encouraged by mentors like Nick Vujicic, Frank turned his pain into purpose—sharing his story in his book Trapped in a Dream and inspiring audiences as a motivational speaker.Frank's message is clear and unforgettable: “Doubt less, fail more, dream bigger, and find your support team.” His story is a powerful reminder that our darkest chapters can lead to our most meaningful purpose.

You may well know of Nick Vujicic (voo-uh-chich), a famous personality with no arms and no legs. He has an incredible message which you're about to hear. I'm bringing this episode back because of something Tom Ziglar, who was with me when I talked with Nick, said at a later date as we were discussing confidence. He referenced Nick, saying here is a guy with no arms or legs. He is the most physically vulnerable of just about anyone. And yet he seems to be more confident than almost everyone. I never forgot the sentiment and found myself pondering it again lately after I suffered a loss and was considering my own confidence. I'll let you think on that while you hear us talk with Nick about challenges. Nick shares that just because someone else's challenges might seem bigger, it doesn't negate our own. We all want to know how to deal with them better. With more joy, peace and success. Nick is one of the most sought after speakers on the planet, often getting 100 speaking requests per week because he's one of the most overcoming, inspirational people you will have ever heard. Tens of millions follow him on social media, and his Youtube videos have literally hundreds of million of views. But it's real world stuff folks. He almost committed suicide. This isn't some pollyanna face on hardship. HEre is the conversation Tom Ziglar and I had with Nick.
