We recently sat for a 'Say it and Shot it' game episode with a special guest, Uchenna. We started off with really juicy questions from his worst lay to his best lay. We also got him taking a couple shots because he was too pussy to actually answer some questions but we appreciate him either way. They shed light on the 'Say what needs Saying' podcast, their motivation, challenges, and processes to achieve the results the podcast was designed for. FOLLOW US ON YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC73tZwWASIBbHEQ8ALkhzJA/ Say What Needs Saying: Two Peas on a Pod Interview Say What Needs Saying! ❏ Meet "Two peas on a pod", Brian Daniels and Raven Alford, who host this episode. - [01:00] ❏ Zack and Brandon discuss the "Say what needs saying" podcast generally, highlighting the goal being to discuss highly sensitive topics without the usual emotions attached to such conversations. - [02:05] ❏ Zack discusses the inspiration for the podcast and also notes that the podcast started airing in July 2020. - [03:44] ❏ Discussing the importance of being able to challenge ideas on the podcast without challenging people or hate speech, and the steps that are taken to ensure each person feels safe to share their thoughts. - [11:56] ❏ The typical formats for the show, and the processes that go into finding guests to interview especially using social media. Usually, the idea comes before the guests, in which case after deciding on the topic, they then try to find people who may relate well to it. - [19:51] ❏ What are the most challenging discussions you have had and how were you able to get the conversation to settle down? Brandon refers to an episode where a question was asked and the guest was very offended even though there were no nefarious intentions behind it. Zack also notes a conversation that was not posted due to poor audio in which there was some frustration when guests could not get the kind of response they preferred. - [23:00] ❏ Are listeners or guests resistant to any particular topics? Some topics are just more appealing to certain listeners than others. - [28:40] ❏ While this is Zack's first podcasting experience, Brandon shares that he has had some experience helping other podcasters set up their podcasts. Generally speaking, as regards the audio or video editing, there is little experience between the hosts of the "Say what needs saying" podcast. - [34:35] ❏ Final thoughts from "Two peas on a pod": Brian shares that following the victory of Joe Biden in the elections, the country must move forward rather than indulge the actions of Donald Trump which is creating a bigger divide among people. In recognition of infant loss and miscarriage awareness month of October, Raven expresses her sincere displeasure at the reactions to a post by Chrissy Teigen who suffered a similar loss and tried to encourage others. - [41:31] ❏ Listen to "Say what needs saying" on 'Anchor' or any podcast platform (Spotify, Apple, Google) and also YouTube, Facebook & Instagram (Say what needs saying), and Twitter @say what needs. - [46:27] ❏ Join the Thanksgiving episode of the Say what needs saying podcast, "Podsgiving" on the 27th. - [47:40] FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/SayWhatNeedsSaying/ --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/say-what-needs-saying/support

On this Triumphal Entry day, a message for church leaders, and those sensitive to the problems inside church today. We need to build it back up like Nehemiah. Most of the text will come from the book of Nehemiah. Support this ministry: https://giv.li/p2nj61 https://www.patreon.com/speaklifechurchpodcast Thanks, Rev. Kenn Blanchard pastor@speaklifechurch.net Palm Sunday Matthew 21:4 tells us: 'This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying, 'Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.' *The prophecy is cited from Zechariah 9:9 and Isaiah 62:11. Jesus had become somewhat of a celebrity among people who had heard of the miraculous raising of Lazarus from the dead, and they wanted to see Him and treat Him like a king. But Jesus wasn’t arriving to be their king on account of Lazarus; the story of Lazarus would have had the religious leaders in even more of an uproar and determined to put an end to His life, which He knew . . . Jesus’ glory would be greater than that of a local king." In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship. God said, "you want to worship athletes ..... I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians ....... I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors ...... I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money ...... I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don't want to go to church and worship Me ....... I will make it where you can't go to church". “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Maybe we don't need a vaccine. Maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus. It's time for the Nation to turn their heart's back to Jesus and pray

Knowle Westers sorting out their housing. Recorded with a live audience in the prototype We Can Make House, in this episode, hosts Makala Cheung and John Bennett chat with Knowle West residents, Becky and Jenny, about the importance of negotiating and communicating with neighbours when it comes to building new homes. | Get stuck into this episode's game 'Say yes to the new address'. Get to know our guests. Discover the results of the show's (very technical) opinion polling system 'snog, marry, avoid' as it is used to review some radical projects and policies out there in the world that are trying to improve neighbour relations during the home-building process. | Poet Sam Grudgings wraps up the show with some lines inspired by the show. The full poem is available in The We Can Make Chat Show limited edition postcard packs here: https://nobindings.bigcartel.com/ | The We Can Make Chat Show brings together people from the garden city neighbourhood of Knowle West in Bristol, UK, to chat about how they are sorting out their housing. | Over four episodes, Knowle Westers explore how communities can get beyond the housing crisis. They share personal stories, uncover inspiring housing ideas from around the world, and think about what would work best for Knowle West. | Artists were invited to sit in on the recordings, and created poetic and visual responses to the discussions, captured in a unique collection of postcards that are available to purchase in shops and online. | The Chat Show is part of the wider We Can Make project, which is developing citizen-led approaches to creating affordable homes by working with the assets and knowhow of communities. | The We Can Make Chat Show is brought to you by We Can Make, No Bindings, Knowle West Media Centre and White Design, and, made possible with support from Bristol City Council, Arts Council England and the Nationwide Foundation. | www.wecanmake.org/ www.nobindings.co.uk/ www.kwmc.org.uk/ www.white-design.com/

An elegantly attired woman named Miss Fairchild is seated on the train when two men arrive and take the seat facing her. It quickly becomes apparent that the woman knows one of the men. She speaks to this man, Mr. Easton, and then she is rather surprised to discover that he is handcuffed to the man seated beside him. As Easton greets the young woman, 'He slightly raised his right hand, bound at the wrist by the shining 'bracelet' to the left one of his companion.' Evidently, the man with Easton senses Easton's embarrassment and volunteers an explanation: Easton is the marshal, and the two are headed for Leavenworth prison. 'It's seven years for counterfeiting' Easton says. As the conversation continues, the woman is surprised to learn that Easton has discarded his life in Washington to become a marshal out West, but she finds the West agreeable as well. The young woman continues to chat with her acquaintance, but she continues to stare at the handcuffs. To ease her concerns, the scruffy looking older man tells her, ''Don't you worry about them, miss,' said the other man. 'All marshals handcuff themselves to their prisoners to keep them from getting away. Mr. Easton knows his business.'' As the two men stand to go to the smoker car, the young woman bids Mr. Easton goodbye. All the while, two passengers seated nearby have listened to the conversation. One remarks on Mr. Easton's appearance, saying that he seems too young to be a marshal. The other eavesdropping passenger corrects the mistake, one that the young woman and readers have likely made as well. Mr. Easton is not the marshal; he is the counterfeiter. ''Oh! didn't you catch on?' the passenger says. 'Say--did you ever know an officer to handcuff a prisoner to his right hand?'' --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/hmphaudiobooks/support

Het monetaire beleid is bedoeld om de economische groei te stimuleren. Maar de economische groei zwakt af. 'Say no more', zegt Kees de Kort. 'So what', zegt Kees. 'We kunnen echt wel even zonder groei.'

The primary school teacher at the centre of a row over LGBT rights has said he's received threats. Pupils have been pulled out of Parkfield School in Birmingham and parents have protested outside the school gates, chanting 'Say no to No Outsiders'. No Outsiders is the programme Andrew Moffat designed to teach pupils to be accepting of different types of people - despite their race, religion or sexuality. Some story books he uses feature families with two mothers or two fathers. He says he designed the programme so that no child has to hide who they are as he did when he was young. In Episode Two of, 'The Next You! A series of conversations on health - spiritual, emotional, and physical,' we continue our discussion on the importance of MOTIVATION. Our co-host, Nikki Evers says, 'If we don’t take the first step, we’ll never take the next step.' Our other co-host, Ryan Jantzen says, 'Say yes and start. Start today, no delay.' If you've set a goal or many goals for 2019, we hope that this conversation gets you going, keeps you going, and fuels you toward experiencing the next iteration of awesomeness that you're capable of becoming.
"You want to be the perfection but how would you know it was perfect if you didn't taste imperfection? How would you know anything if you don't know the opposite? All this bittersweet ups and downs and toughness gives you spiritual grit and maturity. Allow what is being shared to guide the attention and the mind back into the source. To recognise the source and be one with the source - that's all that is happening, and a whole forest of noise is being burnt. I could say trillions of things about the Self but if I really had to I would say, 'Say yes and plunge inside the ocean of your own being and don't come back up as a person.'" A spontaneous Satsang recorded at Monte Sahaja in Portugal

I met Isaiah McKinnon, Deputy Mayor of Detroit to Mayor Mike Duggan in the 1970's. I had opened Emily's Across the Street next to the London Chop House. Isaiah was a Detroit Police officer and we were part of his area. He was always so supportive of our efforts to create activity in the area that had been drained of tenants and people by the opening of the Renaissance Center. When we created the Emily Detroit Run, Isaiah totally got our intention to showcase downtown Detroit. We (Emily's) were supporters of the Detroit Police All Stars Athletic Team. For years I've had taped to my wall a photo of the team including Isaiah in 1980 proudly wearing "Say nice things about Detroit" t-shirts at the Police Olympics in Toronto. I've stayed in touch with Isaiah over the years. I thought it was time to deliver a new 'Say nice things about Detroit" shirt and do this spur of the moment talk story with Isaiah. thanks to Kwabena Shabu for our photo. On another note, the journey Isaiah has been on and still is as Deputy Mayor of Detroit tells a story ... After joining the Detroit Police Department in 1965, Isaiah "Ike" McKinnon rose through the ranks to become Police Chief under Mayor Dennis Archer from 1994-1998. e graduated from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia and holds a doctorate in higher education administration from Michigan State University, a master's degree in criminal justice from Mercy College of Detroit, and a bachelor's degree in history and law enforcement from the University of Detroit. McKinnon is an associate professor of education at University of Detroit Mercy.
