Welcome back to the show, Sathya. Yeah, thanks, Steve, for having me. It's a pleasure to come back after a couple of years. Nice to be a part of it again and looking forward to chatting more. Yeah, it's great to have you back. I think it was three years or something that and your business has evolved. And in fact, during the time you developed another framework that we're going to be talking about. But let me ask you first this. So what is your personal “Why?” I don't think we touched upon this in the first episode three years ago. What is your personal “Why” and what are you doing in your business to manifest it? Absolutely. I think my personal “Why” has been very close to my home experience. So I needed some kind of a help to help my mom navigate the complex chronic conditions that she had. She was facing a lot of obstacles in terms of getting timely and accurate health insights. So I poured in everything that I had. I thought, probably it would be a two- to three-year journey, but it took us almost eight, nine years today. Through using technology, we were able to create a more holistic care for my mother and also help improve her quality of life. And more importantly, it helps us to and help me to personally extend her life and have her stay with us for a lot longer. But today, sad to say that I lost both my parents this year within a span of three months to the same condition at the same circumstances, which deepen my “Why” and my mission now is not just to help people with chronic condition, but also starting with technology, how we can use technology to empower people and also the caregivers to stay one step ahead in terms of managing their chronic condition, enabling proactive care, and also helping them to better understand where they are in their care journey. And that's what really helped me to even start Aidar in the first place. And I believe creating a world where no one has to lose a loved one because of lack of access to timely care. So that's what has been the company's goal. And it's more than a company mission. One fine October weekend we got out to the lake to close the camping season. I took some silent disco headphones with me so my friends could enjoy music wherever they wanted to, we put my dj equipment on the beach and had a great time dancing and enjoying the nature around us. Music-wise the set got very eclectic, and so was the weather. One of the best experiences in months.

Love my friends who let me do experiments. Been testing 5 hours of new music with them last week, which eventually came up just to 120 minutes of the selection you are about to hear, a music rollercoaster.

Was warming up the atmosphere by the pool last saturday. Despite a small rain in the beginning the weather was great and mostly sunny. Unpacked some tracks which i didn't play for quite a long time, it was a pleasure doing it.

Had fun at the Sunchill festival camp right after my gig on the main dancefloor, brought controller and some silent disco headphones for my friends. Chilled downtempo grooves and then a bit of atmospheric electro, perfect before getting a nap.

Music can heal. Tried it myself many times. There is a secret playlist of mine where i collect tracks that had a therapeutic effect on me. I took some of them and recorded a mix a year ago (Lazy Grooves Vol.16 Here Pop-up restaurant edition). It's time to record another one - different genres, different emotions. There is an unreleased track by me and my friend Oleg on 19th minute called Velvet Gamma, planning to release it this year.

Forgotten feeling of a small and dark room full of bass and sweaty people

Took a small mixing console from a friend and recorded a short mix by the pool in the middle of the jungle. Pure summer vibes in the middle of January here in Sri Lanka.

A mix recorded with perfect set & settings in one of the most amazing places - Shalkode valley, just 15 km from kazakh-chinese border. The weather provided us full spectrum of emotions (sun, fog, heavy rain), so did the music, it took us many places.

After a full day open air party on a ski resort we moved to a big and cozy chalet to continue our musical journey. I have played 2 sets, one in the beginning and the second one in the morning for those who survived. Stumbled onto one forgotten folder that i kept for moments like this.

Sunday - slow day

Our yearly tradition to visit mountains near a small city of Tekeli turned out into dj set which was recorded on the top of the hill (on this pic). We witnessed a beautiful sunset and magical moonrise within 2 hours of time.

Part of the gig that i played at Kumano Bar - first hour it was strictly tracks that i haven't played before, afterwards there were some classics which i didn't want to record. DNB scene is quite small here in Almaty though people were really enjoying the sound. Should play more of this.

Did not record my set at the last Cosmic Picnic on September 3rd, so had to re-record it a week later due to demand from people, but did it with slight changes - the second hour is a bit more experimental then during the original gig, those tracks could've make people flee the dancefloor and i couldn't let this happen due to very cold night, had to keep them dancing.
