Officially licensed action figures have played a role in the lives of millions and millions (dare we say billions) of kids and adults worldwide. Erik Araña spend the first part of his career in collectibles working on iconic Hasbro lines including G.I. Joe, Star Wars and MCU films. Then, he and a few of his fellow former Hasbro coworkers founded their own company, Boss Fight Studio, and have since sought to fill the holes in the toy industry not filled by other companies. Whether for collectors or kids Boss Fight Studio dares to tread, and deliver details, beyond what you've seen before. We talk about Erik's personal journey, what it's like working on official products based on both fictional and real life characters (or in the case of the MCU, a blend of both) and how Masked Republic and Boss Fight Studio came together for Legends of Lucha Libre figures and collectibles.

One of the most anticipated X-Band podcasts we have been apart of as we interview Erik Arana who is Partner / Creative Art Director at Boss Fight Studios. In July 2019 BFS announced they had a license for The Phantom and in February 2020, at the New York toy fair they showed off the first samples of their Phantom line. What followed was a chat and demonstration with us of what has so many phans excited with this announcement. Erik explains the H.A.C.K.S line, what a wave is, drops many a hint on what may come in wave 2, 3 and further down the track along what will be in wave 1.We also ask the important questions like when they be available for pre order, the likely release date, the price range and how phans from around the world can get their figurines. We recommend after you have listened to the podcast you watch the Youtube video as Erik shows us in detail the Phantom prototype plus the the 30 points of articulation and how you can customise your own Phantom.A huge thanks to Erik for his time and we hope you will be as excited about Boss Fight Studio like us after listening and watching.Happy PhantomingSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/chroniclechamber)
This week on Toy Power it's not quite NYTF (but don't worry, we'll definitely get to all that toy goodness). But there's still a lot of pre-New York news to delve into. Is Dino-Riders getting a re-boot? Yes. Does it have Dino's? You betcha!!! Can you afford it? Probably not. We get a tease into what the G.I. Classified line has to offer, with the very first reveal of everyone's favorite talkative Ninja: Snake Eyes. And he even gets Frank's tick of approval (and your new ring-tone!). There's MOTU: Revelations casting news that has Darren skipping down the mall singing at the top of his voice (and on an unrelated note, the Mall's never been so uninhabited!) Thanos gets a new figure that your going to be so happy the team over at Mezco decided to click into existence, and the new Two-Face that has so many accessories he might as well be called Fifty-Face! Some delicate observations of a minor "flaw" with the new Masterpiece Arcee, that has some of the strangest descriptions of robotic-female body parts you will ever hear in your life. And how much exactly did Frank have to pay the marketing teams over at Boss Fight Studio to get a figure made in the exact likeness of his Spirit Animal? It's then over to the guy's hopes and dreams for New York. Who wants a shiny new Dr. Killemoff? Who is wishing to see what next for Mondo's Mecha line (Voltron anyone?) And who just wants a pony. Time enough for latest scores, and there's a bounty of figures... including the extremely impressive Dethlatron from NeMA studios. Nothing (not even receiving the exact measurements), I mean NOTHING could have prepared Ben for the size of this thing. Round it out with a few wonderful reviews, and you good Sir, have a show. It's no New York, but it's still a good show. Support the show.

They round it out with the listener questions. Make sure to follow us on Twitter, Youtube, Snap chat and Facebook @Fullyposeable. Instagram is @FullyposeableWFP. Erik Arana's triumphant return to WOJM extols the latest triumphs of Boss Fight Studio, from the acquisition of the Flash Gordon/Phantom rights, their upcoming Lucha Libre announcement, and the continuing success of the Bucky O'Haire and Steeds lines. There's an intermission in there where Erik had to solve a cash register crisis, so enjoy some appropriate intermission music.
In this week's edition of The Toy Report, Toy Book Senior Editor James Zahn ("The Rock Father") shares news on The Genius of Play's Play All May, Mattel's family entertainment centers, Power Rangers' new Ranger, Playmonster's latest acquisition, Boss Fight Studio's wrestling win and much more. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/adventuremedia/message

As toy collectors, it seems we always want more, but again it is relative. Depending on your point of view this show may have the least amount of news ever or the most amount of hosting ever. We muse about the outgoing Matty Collector administration. We discuss the new Boss Fight Studio wave as the trend of smaller collector-focused companies taking over for larger conglomerates continues. However, no matter what anyone says, Hasbro is still trying to make Transformers great again with their new Titans Return Kup. In our saddest news possibly ever, we say goodbye to our princess.
What's big, stripy and dangerous? Yes that's right, Zebra Force.......I mean Tiger Force!! Get involved and enjoy this Tiger themed episode in it's entirety.......FULL TIGER FORCE FORCE!!
After a number of failed attempts at either recording or just getting people together for the recording, we have finally managed to successfully complete this latest special episode. Dave, Eddie and Chris are joined by card art and comic artist, Adam Riches as well as Andrew Franks and Erik Arana from Boss Fight Studio, to battle through the UK re-dubbed animated 1987 G.I. Joe movie!! Simply titled, Action Force The Movie, we provide an alternative commentary that you won't find on any DVD extra! Probably for the better. Feel free to watch the original movie along with us and enjoy the constant analysis and systematic demolition of the storyline! It's really all about the incredibly awesome overdubs in any case...........FULL FORCE!!!!
With Dave AWOL, Chris and Eddie discuss the finer points of Roll Out Roll Call with two very special guests. Erik Arana from Boss Fight Studio and What's on Joe Mind's very own Mike Irizarry join the boys in a chat about what to expect from this years show. Be there or be square......FULL FORCE!!
In this special interview we sit down with too members of Boss Fight Studio as they talk about there new upcoming Toy line. OK, we admit it, we are friends, fans and huge shills for our buddies at Boss Fight Studios. Since their Kickstarter campaign launched, we've done nothing but talk about these guys. Rightfully so! They are a very talented group of artists who worked on our favorite brand and we want to see them do well away from the corporate shackles. They are fans just like us trying to live the dream! The great part is, even you can help! Have a spare dollar? Maybe a spare $30? How about a spare $100 or more? EVERY DOLLAR AND EVERY BACKER TO THE CAMPAIGN COUNTS! It is a safe investment as the initial funding level has been met, but don't let that deter you from pitching in! Now, sometimes these Kickstarter things are a little bit difficult to understand. How do I contribute my money? Is it secure? Do they take my money now? What are the different contribution levels? What are stretch goals? Learn all about these questions and more in this special edition. Pardon in advance on some of the audio breaking up. We were stretching the bandwidth to its limits. However, settle in as we discuss their project (and have some fun at Chuck's expense) over the next hour. We hope you enjoy and when you are done, here is the almighty link to allow you to contribute. You won't be disappointed! CONTRIBUTE TODAY!
Yes! It was on its deathbed, but it got resurrected. Thanks to some long hours of editing we managed to piece together. The background on this show: well, we recorded this a few weeks before JoeCon. During the recording, the raw files on the primary recording PC basically corrupted. However, as ANY good podcast should be doing, a backup recording was being made. All hail Chuck for saving the day. Unfortunately, the show is now very dated. We had on Kirk Bozigian to tease us about his JoeCon panel and a return visit by Chris Sims, who brought along Chad Bowers to talk about their football themed super hero comic, "Down, Set, Fight". In a further bout of bad fortune, this interview was supposed to air WAY back in Feburary to coincide with the launch of their book. FAIL! We're not pros, but we sure did have a fun time talking about Football, Marvel's NFL Super Pro, MegaForce, Smokey and the Bandit and...GI Joe. Outside of the interviews we were joined by Boss Fight Studio's own, the esteemed Andrew Franks. We've missed the fans, and hopefully you missed this too - enough to listen to an old, nearly lost episode.
Fresh off of the 2014 G.I. Joe convention and with a mere week to go until the Kickstarter campaign is over, Mike, Chuck, and Justin sit down with MJ himself from Marauder "Gun Runners". Joining MJ is Dave Proctor from Boss Fight Studio as they talk to the guys about expectations for the Marauder "Task Force", the amazing response to the funding program, and the reasoning behind some of the figure design decisions. It's a quick one hour talk with some great "geek out" moments and some terrific insight behind the design and execution of the fantastic new Marauder "Task Force" product! After you listen (or while you're listening) make sure you hit up Kickstarter.com and put your money where your mouth is! There are only 7 days left in the Kickstarter event, and right now, a generous anonymous donor is matching all funds up to $5,000! Now is the time to pony up!
