Welcome to a fantastic Friday. I hope you are feeling good. I hope the week hasn't been too disappointing, her sad or tear evoking. I am with you. We are all here. But here we talk about cannabis stocks. Isn't much better, but with that being said, there's tons of news.Everybody's reporting this week. We've gone through a ton of performances so far this week. If you want to go back and check out our episodes, please do. We're going to do a few more today with a couple of interesting notes happening around the industry. This is Elliot lane, host of cannabis daily for Benzing and let's dive in Aurora cannabis ACB on the NASDAQ reports, their medical cannabis net revenue of 39.4 million is up 8% year over year. They raised their guidance for expense and cost savings from 60 to 80 million. Now 150 to 170 million by the first half of 2020. And Pablo's watch a analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald does claim that it does note that they are the second leading export or behind Tilray. I believe around 15 million in revenue from exporting there.I think Tilray gets 20. But they are still not profitable. It was still something to note Aurora. Made an interesting acquisition. I thought earlier this year or late last year of a kind of a niche company thrive cannabis. I really liked them. I liked the acquisition. So I think they are headed overall in the right direction there, but hopefully we start to see that in the next few.Pablo's won its releases a few other notes. MTR SSF on the OTC does have a challenging first quarter. He remains overweight due to the bullishness and excitement of New Jersey. As well as his partnerships and levers, he can pull with companies and acquisitions such as gage and Michigan and others. But he does not rate the stock as a. Pick at the moment, truly TC in and F his note, he remains overweight, but lowers the 12 month price target from 59 and 57 due to lower EBITDA estimates company does beat FactSet estimates and reaffirmed full year. Pablo's wanted, she thinks the top line of guidance for true leave may be a bit of a stretch that being said truly just did have their best, first quarter ever.So with that being said I don't know. I'm a wait and see type moment for TC and. More than 1200 stores in Ontario saw a data breach, including license numbers, names, and store info. It is considered a criminal matter. We'll keep you updated. As more comes to light there. A Pennsylvania court rules, medical cannabis is still a controlled substance. After judge Deborah Councilman rejected an appeal from a Pennsylvania medical patient who was convicted of driving under the influence. First of all y'all don't drive high. Let's just say that, but it also goes further as the question of who will control the marrow, who will control marijuana as a substance. Is it going to be the FDA or is it going to be a, the ATB? We'll see how this evolves and how the courts and Congress let it evolve. But overall I'm not a positive. No not a positive development when it comes to the Pennsylvania courts, but outside of that not totally surprising either organic gram OGI on the NASDAQ reports.Their second quarter of 2022 net revenue is 31.8 million with a top three market share. They do maintain the top market share. Flower. I ant this it H U F on the OTC reports, 42.8 million in revenue. It is down 10% sequentially and 17% year over year. The net loss number. It did improve rather largely though from 26 million to around 10 million refi. That is our EFI on the NASDAQ or otherwise known as Chicago Atlantic did upsize the revolving credit facility to 65. Millie and last but not least iconic brands I see in a F on the OTC and multi-state brand operator of sorts announces it is assigned a non-binding LOI to acquire D in a organics, a very well-known Califia fornia, cultivator, and manufacturer iconic has not made these types of moves.Up to date. But I think this is a very notable one. His DNA is very well-respected has some influence on Capitol hill. There, I think there's a lot to like about this one and we'll see obviously how it makes its way to the end zone there. But I'm excited for iconic on that one. I think that's a good move.If I'm going to announce my winners for the day, I see NAF has got to be up there with. I personally think ACB should probably be a winner today just given that it's on the NASDAQ and that it didn't have a horrible. The standards are low for LPs there. So we'll go with those two, but keep an eye on organic gram.I ant this I ant this was one of the few winners, a lot of times in 2021, but not so great of a first quarter there. Now this is Elliot lane with cannabis daily. I hope you all have an absolutely fantastic weekend. We'll do this again Monday. Greg Steltenpohl is the co-founder and CEO of Califia Farms, one of the fastest-growing plant-based beverage companies in the world. However, Greg wasn’t always an entrepreneur; in fact, he got a degree from Stanford in Environmental Science and at one point in his younger days, set out to be a musician. However, when that didn’t work out, a series of fortunate events led Greg to found Odwalla, a supplier of fresh juice and nourishing beverages, which was eventually acquired by Coca-Cola in 2001.After Odwalla, Greg was involved in several projects, but it was now clear that his background in environmental sciences would become a part of his daily life. Prior to Califia, Greg co-founded Adina for Life Inc., a venture-backed startup focused on building a fair trade brand with a good-for-you, good-for-the-planet mission in the natural beverage category. He did that for 6 years and then founded Califia Farms.Greg is one of the original plant-based visionaries who believed that bringing high-quality, sustainable products with wholesome ingredients to customers was imperative. Since 2010, Greg has led the company’s rapid growth as an innovative leader of premium, natural beverages that make it easy for consumers to go “plant-powered” and live a dairy-free lifestyle. Steltenpohl’s disruptive approach has made Califia Farms the top-selling, ready-to-drink coffee and almond milk brand in the U.S. natural channel and a household name.SUBSCRIBE TO TFH NEWSLETTER & STAY UPDATED > http://bit.ly/tfh-newsletterFOLLOW TFH ON INSTAGRAM > http://www.instagram.com/thefounderhourFOLLOW TFH ON TWITTER > http://www.twitter.com/thefounderhourINTERESTED IN BECOMING A SPONSOR? A co-founder of Boston Beer Co., the maker of Samuel Adams, Rhonda Kallman has seen her share of success. Yet while she’s been to the top of the mountain, she’s also seen its nadir. Despite the ups and downs of her nearly three decades in the beverage business, she’ll tell you that there’s been one constant: there’s no substitute for entrepreneurship. Kallman‘s latest project, Boston Harbor Distillery, extends a career that began in 1984 when she partnered with Jim Koch to create the now iconic Samuel Adams brand. Her path from Sam to spirits included both remarkable success and a decade of adversity, forcing her to overcome several personal struggles and the failure of a new brewing venture. In an interview recorded at her distillery in Dorchester, Mass., Kallman spoke about the defining moments of her journey, her methods for identifying disruptive concepts, why authenticity is the key to marketing innovation and the words that lifted her during the most challenging point of her career. Also included in this episode: a conversation with Greg Steltenpohl, the founder and CEO of plant-based beverage company Califia Farms. Known as one of the foremost innovators in the beverage industry, Steltenpohl, who is also the founder of super-premium juice brand Odwalla, discussed the development and impact of business habits that he’s adopted during his nearly four decades in business. This episode is presented by Watermelon Road. The Wonder Twins of Podcasting have transformed into Amelia & Badelia, and one of them... we'll say Badelia (James) explains the entire plot of Beauty & The Beast- the live action version to Nnekay... or rather Amelia (no spoilers because it's pretty much the same as the animated version- but James- we mean Badelia is in to it)! Let's go over the chronological timeline of Lil Kim's face. What happened? She was so cute! We must talk about A Wrinkle in Time and how amazeballs it's going to be! Speaking of Amazing things: Spider-Man! But not The Amazing Spider-Man with angst Andrew Garfield (who Badelia ((James) was a big a fan of)) but Spider-Man Homecoming is swinging into our hearts (see what we did there)? James/Badelia continues the exploration of Queen Califia and the California Blacks from last episode. If they did exist, what happened, and where did they go? If you got a kid in your life Amelia (AKA Nnekay) has just the thing for their summer reading with another booklisticle: Social Justice & Activism Books for the younger folks. Yay!

Greg Steltenpohl, the CEO of Califia Farms and a beverage entrepreneur for nearly four decades, is constantly thinking about innovation. For Steltenpohl, who cut his teeth in the beverage business in 1980 with the launch of super-premium juice brand Odwalla, meeting the evolving needs of a growing base of young, educated and health-conscious consumers has made new product development a cornerstone focus for Califia. Since launching in 2010 the company has embraced several fast-growing beverage trends, including dairy alternatives and cold brew coffee, and introduced a steady stream of new brand and line extensions. But Steltenpohl is pushing for more. The podcast team recently met with Steltenpohl at Califia Farms headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, and as part of a wide-ranging discussion he offered insight into how the company identifies opportunities to innovate and executes from concept to product launch. Steltenpohl also discussed the role of package design and technology and predicts how each will evolve in the coming years, particularly as it relates to consumer education and marketing. Additionally, Steltenpohl revealed Califia’s plans to launch a line of organic products as part of its overall innovation philosophy.
Kyle tries another Cold Brew from Califia, this time with a New Orleans flair. Hopefully he pronounces Califia right this time.

It seems to me that how I start my day off...especially the first 1-2 hours, often dictates how the rest of my day goes, or to what degree I will navigate the ups and downs of it successfully. And I’m not alone in thinking this. It’s not surprising that many of the podcasts I listen to often ask their guests what their morning routines or rituals look like (i.e. Tim Ferriss, Rich Roll, Lewis Howes, etc.). They do this because they know that a lot of research both statistical and anecdotal point to the fact that how we start our morning plays a big part in how are days go. As a life long night owl this has been a really hard reality for me to not only wrap my head around, but actually come around to practicing it. But if a 12am-2am’er such as myself can go to bed by 11pm so he can start his day off right the next morning..then maybe that tells you all you need to know about how important our morning routines are. I have by no means mastered my morning, and I really doubt I ever will. Because life is life, and sometimes it gets complicated and busy. But I can tell you this. I have worked really hard over the last several years to experiment with and implement different disciplines and practices into my life to see not only how they would affect my morning routine, but to really test out if becoming a morning person was all that important. And after much trial and error I’ve come up with 9 disciplines and practices that I use pretty regularly in my morning routine. The routine is not perfect, but more often than not when I’m hitting on all cylinders, these 9 practices are evident in my daily morning routine (even as I write this post for the podcast I did have 8 of the 9 disciplines present in my morning routine -- Headspace didn't happen today -- that tends to be the one I trade off with the journal). And even when I’m not running on all cylinders, you can find me practicing most of these disciplines on a daily basis. The good news is that after much experimentation and practice with one discipline at a time, I was slowly able to add another one, create a habit, till eventually most of my morning routine is less of a laborious conscious effort, and one that has developed into a nice flow and rhythm in my day. In this episode I will explore my 9 practices and disciplines that embody my first few hours of my day...my morning routine: Body Movement (running, lifting weights, yoga, stretching, cycling, swimming, etc.) Listening to podcasts that inspire growth and challenge beliefs. Avoid the consumption of technology that dictates my day rather than keeps me from creating (email, news feeds, social media feeds, etc.) for the first 1-4 hours of my day. Make the bed.
